Chapter 84: The Second Realm Unlocked!
Ye Feng and the others left the airport in their true forms. They weren’t in a hurry to find the vampire count named Nikola, whose name they had learned from Kelly. Instead, they simply found a hotel near the airport and waited patiently.
As expected, around a corner not far from the hotel, a middle-aged man in a suit watched as the group entered the hotel and then made a phone call.
“My lord, they just came out of the airport. Besides Ye Feng and Long Tian, there’s also a middle-aged man and a girl around thirteen or fourteen with them. They’ve checked into a hotel near the airport. Should we take action?”
“Excellent! Go in and tell them that I look forward to their visit tomorrow! Send a car to pick them up tomorrow morning!” came a lazy voice on the other end of the line.
“Understood, my lord!” The middle-aged man hung up and walked into the hotel.
“He’s here. It’s just one person—probably a messenger!” Hank said, standing by the window and looking outside.
“They’re quite well-informed. It seems we were watched as soon as we got off the plane…” Ye Feng shrugged expressionlessly.
Soon, there was a knock at the door. Ye Feng, who was closest to the door, opened it, glanced at the middle-aged man, and sat back down on the sofa.
“My lord invites you all to visit tomorrow! I’ll be waiting for you downstairs at 9 a.m.” The middle-aged man said nothing more but turned and left.
“Simple and clear! I like that kind of person. I like his suit too!” Hank said, winking at Luo Li as the atmosphere grew dull.
“Go back to your room and get some rest. You haven’t had proper rest these days!” Ye Feng tapped Long Tian’s tense face.
Long Tian sighed and shook his head. “My sister is in his hands…”
“Long Yue will be fine!” Ye Feng said firmly, meeting Long Tian’s gaze.
Long Tian forced a smile, nodded, and then headed to his room.
“You should rest too. If the negotiations fail, we might have to fight—stay sharp!” Hank said to Ye Feng, who was sitting on the sofa in thought.
Ye Feng looked up at Hank, then at Luo Li, who was still staring at him curiously. He stood up from the sofa and headed to his room. “Yeah, you guys too!”
“As usual, you sleep in the bed and I’ll sleep on the sofa!” Hank smiled at Loli and walked over to the sofa where Ye Feng had been sitting…
Ye Feng lay on the bed with his hands behind his head, turning his face toward the window. He could still clearly hear the noisy sounds coming from outside: car tires grinding on the road, vendors shouting loudly on the streets, and crowds walking briskly… Even without looking outside, images of what was happening outside formed in his mind…
The image in Ye Feng’s mind grew clearer and clearer. He could even see the clothes of the passersby, the scribbled words on the walls, and even the bees hovering on unknown flowers, sipping nectar—everything in sharp detail…
Lost in it, Ye Feng felt as though everything happening before his eyes was like a lucid dream—a dream that appeared despite him not being asleep. He realized that everything in this dream was incredibly clear, even clearer than the world he saw with his own eyes…
While Ye Feng was immersed in it, Long Tian, Hank, and Loli all sat up in bed, staring in shock at Ye Feng’s room, then cautiously made their way toward the door.
“Was that Ye Feng’s mental power?” Long Tian asked in a low voice, looking at Hank and Loli.
Hank nodded. Loli, standing beside him, looked at Ye Feng with excitement.
“What happened?” Long Tian pressed further.
Hank pulled Long Tian and Loli aside. “I’m not sure either, but judging by his appearance, it seems he’s achieved some kind of enlightenment! I’ve only heard of such things from an Eastern friend before—it’s somewhat similar to the awakening of superpowers, but completely different in nature.”
“Enlightenment?!” Long Tian’s worried expression finally relaxed. “I’ve only read about it in ancient texts. We shouldn’t disturb him!”
Long Tian and the others sat on the sofa, waiting patiently. They could clearly feel that mental power growing stronger.
Ye Feng, still immersed in the scene before him, suddenly felt an extremely refreshing sensation spreading from his head to his entire body. That feeling could best be described as enlightenment—like a layer of paper being torn away, revealing another world behind it…
“I’ve broken through!” Long Tian exclaimed in delight, glancing at Hank beside him.
“Well, breaking through directly from the early innate stage to the Dan Condensation stage—unless it was sudden enlightenment, I don’t know what else it could be! It took me over thirty years just to break through the innate realm! I was already considered exceptionally talented among my peers.” Hank wore an envious expression, while Luo Li also looked toward Ye Feng’s room with anticipation.
Ye Feng felt a continuous stream of cool energy seeping into his pores and gathering toward his dantian along the meridians. He could even clearly see the faint white energy flowing within the meridians, and he noticed the gaseous energy in his dantian gradually transforming into a liquid state.
As time passed, that gaseous energy condensed into a tiny droplet. The gaseous energy diminished, and the droplet grew from the size of a needle tip to that of a rice grain. Although external spiritual energy continued to flow in, the gaseous energy inside Ye Feng decreased, while the droplet continued to expand.
“Have I… broken through?” Just as Ye Feng realized this, an ancient voice, seemingly coming from afar, echoed in his mind.
“Second-level domain master privileges obtained. The second domain, the Cultivation Domain, is now activated!”
“The second domain is activated. Special reward: One pet can be upgraded!”
Almost simultaneously, the “Wu Dian” in Ye Feng’s mind emitted a bright white light.
“The second layer of the ‘Wu Dian’ is to be activated, requiring 1 million first-level domain points. Do you wish to activate it?”
Ye Feng was slightly stunned. He checked his remaining domain points, which showed 1,162,743. After hesitating for a moment, he chose “Yes”.
At that moment, the second page of the “Wu Dian” was finally flipped open in his mind. A passage appeared first: The Cultivation Chapter contains extensive content, unlike the Mortal World Chapter, which only has one method for qi circulation. To understand more of the Cultivation Chapter, one must progress step by step. Only when the body meets the requirements for the next stage of cultivation will the content on that page change; otherwise, only repetitive information will be shown.
As this passage disappeared, Ye Feng saw a complete diagram of the meridians, clearly showing a highly complex path of circulation. After careful observation, he realized that his previous energy circulation path was merely a small circuit within that larger network. Relying on his familiarity with that small circuit, it took him nearly an hour to redirect the energy absorbed from the outside world along the new path.
It was not until the early morning of the next day that Ye Feng regained consciousness. He found that his first complete cycle within his body had finally been completed, taking a full twelve hours. At the same time, he noticed that the water droplet in his body had grown as large as a soybean, with all the gaseous energy inside disappearing entirely and the energy absorbed from the outside going directly into the droplet. He once again delved into the “Martial Canon” in his mind, and the content on the second page was still the same meridian diagram, unchanged at all. He knew that his body still wasn’t ready to access the subsequent content. Glancing at the watch on his wrist, it was already 6:30 in the morning…
