“But,” said the Flame Demon, “when I attack, you keep flying backward. What shall I do?” He spoke with some concern.
Hearing this, Du Fan smirked inwardly.
“How about this? I’ll lean against the stone wall and take three of your punches head-on. Does that work?” Du Fan pretended to think for a moment before speaking seriously.
“Good! That’s fine. Haha, kid, if I kill you, don’t blame me!” The Flame Demon burst into laughter at Du Fan’s words.
Three punches were thrown. Du Fan changed positions three times. It wasn’t that he was flung away by the Flame Demon—instead, he stayed close to the stone wall and let the demon strike once. The immense power of the Flame Demon caused deep holes in the stone wall behind him. In total, after three punches and three position changes, three deep holes appeared on the mountain wall!

“Take it,” the Flame Demon tossed the shiny ring to Du Fan.
Du Fan took the ring and flew toward the rock where Naixiu stood.
“Naixiu, take a look. Is this the Elf King Ring you mentioned?” Once he reached Naixiu, Du Fan quickly took out the ring and handed it to her.
“That’s it! Its aura is exactly as described in the legends,” Naixiu murmured, holding the Elf King Ring.
After saying that, she put the ring on her left ring finger.

That ring, which was originally shiny, emitted a dreamlike glow as soon as it was put on Naixiu’s hand. Staring at the Ring of the Elf King, she could see endless greens—vast forests, clear lakes, and blue skies with white clouds!

“Since you insist on staying there and wasting time with me, then I’ll accompany you! Let’s see how long you can last!” the Flaming Demon snapped angrily.
“Then, Lord Fernand, what do you need us to do to let us go?” Du Fan asked with a smile.
“Fight! Fight with me! If I’m satisfied and you’re still alive, then I’ll let you go!” Fernand replied happily upon hearing Du Fan’s question.
“Naixiu, are you really confident?” Du Fan suddenly wrapped his arms around her waist and spoke gently.

Seeing Nayixiu say that, Du Fan naturally knew that after wearing the Ring of the Elf King, Nayixiu’s strength had greatly increased! She was very confident in dealing with the Flame Demon; otherwise, with her personality, she wouldn’t have spoken such arrogantly.
“I feel there shouldn’t be any problem,” Nayixiu said. Held by Du Fan, she didn’t try to break free but gently rested her head on his shoulder.
