Chapter 011: Pervert
Du Fan stepped out of that room. Immediately, a servant with a respectful expression led him deeper into the corridor. As they walked, Du Fan glanced down at the masquerade ball below—still quite lively, but with fewer attendees, likely as many had gone off to discuss their life goals.
After a short while, they arrived at the door of a room at the end of the corridor. The servant knocked gently on the door a few times before bowing again and saying, “Young Master Du Fan, if you need anything later, just give orders. I’ll wait right here at the door.” With that, the servant quickly stood in the darkness beside the entrance.
Du Fan nodded slightly. By then, the door had been opened from the inside. Taking a look, he couldn’t help but look puzzled—those who opened the door were two girls who seemed to be no older than thirteen or fourteen. Though fairly pretty, their gazes at Du Fan were filled with fear, as if he might pounce on them at any moment.
Du Fan secretly chuckled. Although he wasn’t exactly a good person, he really had no interest in such immature girls. As much as he was wicked, he wasn’t a pervert!
As he thought this, he glanced around. The room was actually circular, with several crystal lamps casually placed in the corners, emitting a soft pink light—a color often considered the most romantic. Even a fake eunuch like Liu Xia Hui might feel some lust in such a place.
On the table in the room was also an object resembling an incense burner, releasing a delicate fragrance. Though Du Fan wasn’t an expert in such things, he could guess it was some kind of aphrodisiac—probably not a cheap, strong-acting drug, but rather a high-quality substance with a mild stimulating effect.
In the center of the room stood a huge bed made of nanmu wood, covered in velvet, appearing extremely soft and white. It was likely designed to cater to the preferences of nobles who liked red colors.
Seeing all this, Du Fan grew even more skeptical about Gabriel’s identity. How could the lord of a small border town afford such luxuries in his mansion? It was… a bit exaggerated. Even with Du Fan’s family background, it would be unlikely for him to arrange something like this.
After thinking for a moment, Du Fan couldn’t figure out why. He shook his head slightly and forced himself to forget about it for now. He glanced around a few more times before his gaze finally settled on the woman in bed. It was then that Du Fan finally understood why those two girls, who appeared to be around thirteen or fourteen years old, had such panicked expressions. The blond beauty, who was said to be the leader of some adventurer group, was now clean and tidy, but she still hadn’t taken off her leather armor. Her wounds, however, seemed to have been treated by a healer, as they had all stopped bleeding. The ropes tied around her body had been untied, but thin silver chains were tied around her wrists and ankles, with one end of each chain attached to the foot of the bed. She was in a “U” shape, her eyes filled with fear as she struggled desperately. The silver chains glowed brightly, seemingly on the verge of breaking, but the combat energy emanating from her was absorbed by the chains, so despite her efforts, she made little progress. Clearly, these chains were the work of some alchemist—unique in design and full of useful functions. Du Fan wondered why she wasn’t cursing loudly. Taking a few steps closer, he was shocked again: although her mouth wasn’t stuffed, a silver bar as thick as her index finger was placed across it, with two sections wrapped around cowhide straps that went behind her head. Under such circumstances, unless she could bite through the bar in one bite, she wouldn’t be able to say a word, even if she had ten mouths. Du Fan smiled bitterly. If strangers saw this scene, they would probably assume he had some peculiar hobby, which would also explain the expressions on those two girls’ faces. He knew the more he tried to explain, the more confusing it would become, so he simply waved his hand, signaling the two girls to step back.
The two little girls had seen Du Fan’s expression change frequently just now and thought that this seemingly noble young master intended to use them as well for such tricks, filling them with terror. They were still virgins and inexperienced; although they had been trained since childhood, they couldn’t handle such intense situations. However, the city lord had ordered that if they failed to please Master Du Fan, they would have to jump into the river. So, despite their fear, they didn’t dare leave.
Now, seeing Du Fan wave his hand, the two girls felt as if they had been pardoned. They immediately lifted the hem of their skirts and quickly retreated, leaving Du Fan and the woman alone in the room.
Only after they closed the door did Du Fan softly exhale. He didn’t know what he was thinking as he slowly walked over to the bed and sat down casually, just in time to see the beauty’s face.
When the woman saw Du Fan come in and sit beside her, she struggled even harder. Her gaze at him seemed to burn with anger. If looks could kill, Du Fan would have been killed countless times by now.
Du Fan observed her for a while. Though her face was filled with anger, he could see that her natural beauty was undeniable. Yet her beauty was different from that of other women—beneath her golden hair was a face full of temptation, though this temptation carried more of a wildness. If women could be compared to alcohol, this woman would be the strongest kind.
At the same time, her figure was extremely voluptuous. The thin leather armor couldn’t fully cover her curves, splitting open at her chest to reveal a deep cleavage.
Du Fan took just one glance but couldn’t help but exclaim inwardly: So deep! So large! So spectacular!
Any man, as long as he wasn’t defective in some way, would likely want to touch such a tempting asset. Some showed it on their faces, while others kept it hidden in their hearts.
This woman had traveled far and wide and had seen many men, with even more coveting her beauty. So she had long learned to discern the looks of different kinds of people.
Although Du Fan had only glanced at her a few times, she could tell that this noble young master didn’t seem very interested in her… If she cooperated a little… maybe there would still be a chance… But when Du Fan’s gaze fell on her chest, the expression in his eyes made the beautiful woman sigh inwardly—this man… truly… It seemed she wouldn’t be able to escape today…
She hadn’t expected that after taking one look, Du Fan showed no intention of touching her. He stared into her eyes for a few moments, then suddenly smiled faintly and said, “Beautiful lady, in such a situation… are you… scared?”
As he spoke, he chuckled self-mockingly and added, “But my question is indeed strange. From the day you became an adventurer, you must have anticipated various outcomes. This outcome is probably within your expectations too, right? Since you weren’t scared back then, you probably aren’t scared now either, are you?”
The woman stared at Du Fan, stopping her struggles, not understanding what he meant for a moment.
Du Fan stretched out his finger and gently traced it across her cheek, then brought it to his nose to smell it, smiling softly. “It’s really fragrant… With your beauty and skills, it shouldn’t be hard to find a good husband, right? Oh, let me see… You must have level three combat energy, meaning you’re a level three warrior or knight, right? Tsk… tsk… So impressive… I guess Lord Gabriel of that city must have sacrificed at least a dozen soldiers just to capture you alive.”
The beautiful woman remained silent.
Du Fan continued, “But no matter how you were captured alive, it wasn’t me who did it… So no matter what I do next, you still can’t blame me, right?”
The woman still said nothing.
After a pause, Du Fan suddenly slapped his own head and said, “Look at my memory! You still can’t speak, can you? Well then… I’ll remove what’s covering your mouth now, but… please don’t make a fuss, okay? I know you can’t speak. If you agree, blink once; if not, I’ll pretend nothing happened and go on with what I need to do.”
As he spoke, Du Fan watched her with a smile, and the woman’s eyes blinked quickly once.
Du Fan smiled faintly and said, “It seems… you still want to speak… But please remember, my patience is extremely limited. If you make a fuss later, I definitely won’t be gentle with you…”
