Du Fan smiled kindly at him and said, “I have always held Lord Oscar in high esteem. Although Lord Oscar didn’t say much just now, I, Du Fan, consider myself discerning enough to see that he is interested in these two ladies. Let alone the fact that I, Du Fan, don’t want these twins—even if I did, I couldn’t take what belongs to others. So, Lord Oscar, please don’t refuse!”
Without giving Oscar a chance to speak, Du Fan turned to Gabriel and said, “My Lord Baron, you have no objections to this arrangement of mine, right?”
Gabriel smiled and said, “Good. Since Lord Du Fan isn’t interested in these twins, I can’t be stingy, can I? Lord Oscar, you must savor the experience of being with these twins—it will surely be unforgettable for you.”
With that, he waved his hand, and the twins immediately understood his meaning. They hurried over to Oscar, who’s smile blossomed like a chrysanthemum upon seeing them: “Since Young Master Du Fan is so generous, it would be rude of me, Lord Oscar, to act aloof.”
Viscount Evan also smiled and said, “Since Young Master Du Fan is so good at handling things, Gabriel, you better step up. If you can’t bring him more surprises tonight, you’ll be disappointed, won’t you?”
Gabriel laughed heartily and said, “There’s no need to worry about that. If I can’t help our Young Master Du Fan find a suitable woman tonight, then I might as well quit being the city lord. Well, everyone, let’s continue… The next person will surely surprise everyone…”
With that, Gabriel clapped his hands again. This time, the lights around the stage lit up completely. A few heavy footsteps were heard, and moments later, two fully armed soldiers dragged a large sack onto the stage. They knelt and bowed, then slowly retreated, leaving the sack behind.

Before Du Fan could say anything, Evan snorted and said, “Lord Gabriel, what are you doing? Are you planning to play some sadistic game?” Gabriel walked up to the woman, lifted her chin, turned it a few times, then sneered and said, “Lord Evan, you’ve misjudged this time… But you can guess how this beautiful lady came here.” Evan smiled faintly and said, “How did she come here? It must be another trick from you, Baron Gabriel.” Gabriel returned to the sofa, took a sip of the wine in front of him, laughed heartily, and said, “Lord Evan, you’ve misunderstood. To be honest, this wasn’t something I prepared specifically. But I can reveal a secret to you… This lady is an adventurer…” Du Fan and the others were slightly stunned. They exchanged glances, clearly surprised. Seeing their expressions, Gabriel grew even more pleased. He cleared his throat and said, “As you all know, in our Gavin Empire, there are also adventurers… These adventurers form various groups to complete tasks throughout the empire or hunt magical beasts. I’m sure you all know something about this.”

Du Fan nodded slightly. He knew a bit about these adventurers and mercenaries—these people who made a living on the edge of danger, who were extremely common throughout the entire empire and even the entire Roland continent. Most of them had some fighting energy, but had no other options, forcing them to take this path in the end.
In a sense, they were the most powerful group on the continent. As he spoke, Gabriel glanced at Du Fan and said, “What, Young Master Du Fan… Are you interested in this girl? Hehe, the taste of such a girl is truly amazing!!!”

Du Fan’s eyes sparkled as he smiled faintly and said, “Since Lord Gabriel is being so generous, I, Du Fan, can’t refuse… I’ll take this woman. Please give me some face, Lord Gabriel.”

Gabriel laughed heartily and said, “What are you talking about, Young Master Du Fan? Since you’re interested, the woman is yours. But she hasn’t been trained yet, so be careful when you play with her. Also, she can’t keep you company while drinking. Someone! Take her to that pavilion over there. We’ll bring Young Master Du Fan there later. As for us, let’s continue drinking.”

Two maids led the struggling woman out of the room. The small party continued for a while, but the women who appeared later weren’t as exciting as the first three. Gabriel wasn’t polite either—both Deadman Simon and Carol soon had a woman by their sides.

Finally, the wine was gone, and everyone was tired. Viscount Evan had already taken his Desert Princess out of the room, and the bard Oscar had taken his twin nuns to discuss the meaning of life. Even Simon and Carol were drunkenly led away by their women, leaving only Du Fan and Gabriel sitting in the room with smiles on their faces.

Gabriel drank wine while smiling at Du Fan and said, “Lord Du Fan… Are you satisfied with my arrangements for tonight?”

Du Fan smiled and said, “Of course I’m satisfied. It’s just that… Lord Gabriel’s efforts are truly remarkable!”

Gabriel smiled and said, “Whether it’s great or not really matters not. As long as you enjoy yourself, Lord Du Fan… How about this? Go and enjoy that girl first… But don’t go too far… There’s a small banquet later, and I’d like to invite Young Master Du Fan to attend… Maybe we can discuss some things then.”

Du Fan smiled slightly and said, “Then, I’d better obey out of respect.”
