Chapter 712: Abominable Offspring
The second meeting of the Natural Deity faction came to an end, and under the attention of the outside world, everything proceeded normally without any abnormalities.
None of the faction members spoke another word about the meeting’s contents after leaving the Core Lost Temple of their divine realm.
With this unexpected conclusion, only a few days remained before the activities in the Abominable Hunting Ground. Many true gods had already arrived in the Azeroth Divine Realm, and the members of the Natural Deity faction also began to get busy.
Donald first sent his avatar secretly out of the divine realm to the nearby Land of Perdition to communicate with its ruler, before entering the Abominable Hunting Ground realm in his true form.
Over two months passed, and the situation in the hunting ground realm developed as expected—stably. There were no instances of abominables killing each other in large numbers, nor were any new abominables born. After all, the birth of each abomination required strict conditions and hundreds of years of gestation.
However, since Donald intended to manage this Abominable Hunting Ground, he needed to accelerate the birth rate of abominables to ensure that they wouldn’t be wiped out one day. Otherwise, even with the number and regeneration rate of abominables in the Abominable Prison realm, it wouldn’t be enough to meet the demands of the gods, leading to a shortage soon.
Originally, Donald planned to strictly control the frequency and number of hunters, gradually expanding restrictions only after finding a better solution to the abomination reproduction problem.
But after capturing the Merchant God and the Strange God Animum in this operation, Donald suddenly had an idea—he might have found a solution in advance.
Upon arriving at the Abominable Hunting Ground, Donald appeared directly at the center of the realm, where the strongest abominables resided.
In this realm, all lower-level abominables followed the strongest ones as leaders, forming several major factions. Each faction further split into numerous smaller groups, spreading across the skies, lands, and waters of the entire hunting ground realm from the center outward.
According to Donald’s plan, once all hunters entered, they would be placed in the outer regions of the realm. To hunt stronger abominables, they would have to fight their way gradually toward the core area.
Due to the hostility between the major factions, a force vacuum zone spanning hundreds of kilometers existed in the center of the realm, where no abominables dared stay.
Donald was now in this empty area. With a wave of his hand, he summoned a massive entity as huge as a mountain, instantly occupying most of this empty space. This was a nest he had created using materials from the Animus Divine Kingdom, intended for the future reproduction of divine abominations. It resembled an irregular, honeycomb-like mountain made up of countless rocks. Within the largest nest chamber stood a huge pillar of punishment, on which shackles emitting golden divine light were fixed—clearly artifacts of at least lower-tier divine status. After completing this, Donald took out the imprisoned Animus divine soul and spirit. With a gesture of his hand, the mysterious icosahedral crystal seemed to split from within, dividing into two octahedral divine spirit crystals—one shining with golden light and the other with an eerie black-gray hue. Donald stored the golden one and inserted the black-gray one into Animus’s imprisoned soul. Since the two were originally one, they merged together seamlessly. Then, Donald waved his hand, and a legendary infant multi-armed giant, a descendant of divine abominations, appeared in the nest. Transported there out of thin air, this multi-armed giant, inheriting its progenitor’s brutal nature, struggled frantically, waving its arms and roaring at Donald. “Stop making noise!” Donald flicked his finger, knocking out this legendary descendant capable of fighting semi-gods. He then threw the divine spirit crystal in his hand; a flash of black-gray light entered the central head of the multi-armed giant. With a thought from Donald, the giant was firmly bound by divine shackles to the pillar of punishment at the center of the nest. Once Animus’s divine soul and spirit were placed inside a divine abomination’s body, strange changes occurred immediately. Animus, which had originally lost its body and most of its power, would need a long time to recover—or it could simply seize the body of a sentient being. But after being placed inside a divine abomination’s body, Animus’s still-unconscious soul spontaneously began to merge with this abomination’s body, which soon underwent uncontrollable mutations. One of the multi-armed giant’s original few arms and three heads suddenly became radiant, while the other two heads gradually weakened—one even withered like a plant, its neck disappearing as well. The remaining head also became listless and shrank significantly, as if all its nutrients had been supplied to the central head.
Soon, the multi-armed giant not only grew more arms again but also developed hundreds of tentacles writhing all over its body, looking from afar like a mass of insects entangled together. Those who had raised goldfish in their past lives knew that there was a type of live food consisting of countless tiny red worms intertwined like a lump of flesh, and Anim’s appearance was very similar to that. The transformed, or evolved, multi-armed giant began to struggle violently, but the shackles on its body emitted an electric glow, causing this abominable creature to convulse as if struck by lightning. The divine shackles created by Donald confined not only this body but also its soul, divinity, and all divine powers. Only the power of its domain could be used, yet the domain had limitations, preventing it from reaching beyond its nest. After this struggle and being punished by the power of the shackles, the transformed multi-armed giant regained its consciousness. Its central head’s eyes snapped open—first with confusion, then, upon noticing its surroundings, a sly glint appeared before it returned to its previous state of ignorance. Such a petty trick could naturally not deceive Donald, a powerful mid-tier god, let alone the ruler of this realm. If he wished, he could know every detail that happened within it. With a hint of mockery in his voice, he said, “Anim, since you’ve regained your senses, stop playing these tricks. Your situation is completely under my control. There’s no chance you can escape—give up the idea!” Hearing Donald’s words, the head stopped pretending and reverted to its cunning and agile demeanor. “Your Highness Donald, I wonder what conditions you require to spare me? If you’re willing to grant me freedom, I swear by the will of the universe that I will never again be an enemy of any member of the Nature Godhood!” Knowing its situation, Anim had no choice but to submit quietly. Even though it had regained its body and its strength had returned to that of a newly risen god due to absorbing the power of this abominable body, its power was completely confined within it and could not be released outside its domain. Even without any restraints, such strength was no match for a powerful mid-tier god. Thus, Anim could only obediently let others manipulate it.
Donald smiled upon hearing this and said, “It seems you haven’t given up yet! To be honest, letting you go isn’t completely unacceptable to me. But you threatened my wife before and even collaborated with my enemies—that’s an unforgivable crime. I won’t completely destroy you; eternal imprisonment is a better punishment. Besides, you still have some use to me!”
“Great Lord Donald, you’ve already taken away my divine powers as a merchant. I no longer have the ability to threaten Lady Wealth, your wife. Why not let me go?”
Anim continued to plead, hiding deep within him the hatred that had built to its limit. Freedom was the most important thing; revenge could wait until he regained his freedom.
Donald shook his head and said nothing more.
He had separated Anim’s divine powers as a merchant earlier—naturally for Catherine’s sake—but he kept the other’s strange divine powers for future experiments. It had nothing to do with what Anim thought.
Then Donald raised his hand again, and an infernal hybrid that resembled a demon from the abyss, Inferno, appeared in the den. Donald cast a powerful mental illusion on it, making Anim in front of it appear as the ideal mate for reproduction in the eyes of this demonic creature.
As Donald lifted the restraint, Inferno, with red eyes, rushed forward. Its demonic claws grabbed the body of the multi-armed giant, and its scaled lower body was extremely excited. Like a pile driver, it violently charged at Inferno’s strange body.
“No… you can’t do this…”
The god of monsters, Anim, was stunned by Inferno’s actions. It wasn’t until Inferno pounced on him that he suddenly reacted and screamed loudly.
The humiliation of being raped filled Anim with shame and rage—especially being raped by a male creature!
Although Anim was a monster and a half-possessed demon, he always appeared with a male appearance, but he had no gender and no reproductive organs like normal creatures. Usually, possessive demons produced tadpole-like larvae, similar to clones, and then placed them in a special breeding ground called the brain pool to cultivate them. Only when those larvae stood out among others and gained the chance to transform through possession would they grow into new possessive demons. Thus, concepts like sex, love, and emotions meant nothing to possessive demons that fed on the brains of intelligent beings.
But Anim, this half-possessed being expelled by its tribe, had been influenced psychologically by the intelligent beings of the main world during its long wandering years, and it continued to believe itself to be male, as could be seen from its male appearance. Now, raped by a male divine abomination, the physical pain was secondary; the most terrifying part was the psychological torment. Despite being raped, the physical stimulation caused Anim, who had never experienced such things before, to feel a faint sense of excitement and obsession. This filled Anim’s heart with an indescribable fear—it feared that it might gradually get used to or even accept such behavior.
