Chapter 433: Creating a Divine Kingdom

On the top floor of the mage tower, Donald alone activated the House of Time. Once inside, all connection to the outside world was severed, so the research on divine fire and faith power could no longer rely on the hundredfold world amplification method used before!
However, Donald now intended to study the power of divine laws, with everything taking place within his own body. Thus, using the House of Time posed no issue. The reason for using the House of Time’s hundredfold acceleration instead of gradually exploring in a natural environment was that Donald wanted to quickly acquire true demi-god power.
It should be noted that divine laws differ from faith-based divinity. Although Donald had already entered a different realm, he could only utilize the power of divine fire. Though this allowed him to do many things he couldn’t before, it didn’t enable him to exert the true formidable combat strength of a demi-god. Even when dealing with those legendary strongmen from other races, he relied on the Supreme Brain as an external aid—seeming powerful but actually not his own strength.
He also hadn’t forgotten that there was a powerful demi-god imprisoned in the Kingdom of Truth, along with twelve other strongmen led by demi-gods, whose allegiance was uncertain and needed to be dealt with.
While nothing might change in ten days or half a month—after all, the rules of the powerful higher god kingdoms couldn’t be broken so quickly by a demi-god—it was risky to delay too long, as accidents might occur!
By igniting the divine fire, one automatically obtained a zero-level divine essence, a blank divine essence without any condensed laws. Its actual form was the divine fire itself. If someone killed this demi-god at that point, they would obtain the divine fire already condensed into a crystal, which was the demi-god’s divine essence.
The next step for a demi-god was to gradually condense the laws they had understood within the divine fire to become a true god, after which they could consider creating a divine kingdom.
Since becoming a new god meant being subject to the rules of the material world’s plane, they couldn’t remain in the main world for too long. Thus, gods at this stage would do everything possible to build their divine kingdoms, strengthening their defenses as much as possible. Otherwise, when the time came for them to leave the material world and elevate their kingdom to the outer realms due to being rejected by the main world’s rules, if their kingdom’s structure and rules were incomplete, they would either have to abandon it and flee or perish along with it if attacked by extraterrestrial creatures!

In the eyes of extradimensional beings, a lone deity is like an unguarded piece of fat, especially those abominable creatures exiled by the gods. Their hatred for true gods and longing for divinity drive them to swarm at any sign of a flaw or weakness in a divine realm, just like flies drawn to blood.

Due to the various crises and trials involved in creating a divine realm and ascending to a throne, some true gods opt for a secondary solution by choosing existing planes as substitutes for their own divine realms, becoming the lords of those planes.

However, known planes are either already ruled by someone or are so powerful with strict rules that they cannot be utilized by true gods. Thus, these true gods are left with two options: either serve a more powerful true god as a vassal deity and build their realm within that god’s realm, or descend to the abyssal planes and choose one to become a demon god.

The latter option is usually chosen by those with no other choice or those belonging to the evil faction. The most famous examples include the Spider Queen and Mathius, once a powerful true god in the heavens and now one of the three rulers of the abyss.

By choosing an abyssal plane, one can no longer create a true divine realm. Although ruling an entire plane is larger than a divine realm, and the virtual divinity granted by the abyssal will can even surpass ordinary high gods, reaching the level of peak high gods!

Yet, in the abyssal planes, one cannot change the rules at will or fully control a world like in a divine realm. Therefore, if outsiders are bold enough, strong enough, and have the opportunity, they can sneak into a demon lord’s territory while he is away, carry out some actions, and still escape safely!

Half-gods—simply put, they are potential true gods. They do not need food, water, sleep, or other necessities like normal beings, and theoretically have an infinite lifespan, representing an incomplete form of immortality.

Half-gods can possess many spells (divine spells) and spell-like abilities, even those of a warrior type. But unlike true gods, they can continue to exist even without followers. However, such half-gods are generally very weak, and they cannot grant divine spells to others like true gods. If alone, weak half-gods easily become targets for those seeking divine status or more powerful predators!

A half-god who doesn’t aspire to become a true god is not a good half-god!

While those demi-gods in the main world were still striving hard to gain faith in order to accumulate divine powers and ascend to true gods, Donald himself was not in a hurry to form his own divine authority and become a new god. In fact, he could already choose from various divine powers within the realm of nature he controlled; any one of them could elevate him to the rank of a new god. However, doing so would leave the power of the Law God incomplete. The reason was that Donald planned to use natural divine forces, based on various elements and laws in nature, to create his own divine realm within his body. He did not want to create a realm that leaned toward any one aspect but rather intended to create a true world with a perfect natural cycle! As for the Faith God, he would wait until his divine realm was established before forming another divine authority. This authority might not be too powerful at this stage to avoid attracting the attention of other true gods, but it must have sufficient potential for growth to ascend to a higher level of divine authority and wield greater powers of law. With his decision already made, Donald endured the agony as if his soul were being torn apart and used the Book of Truth to force his divine flame to split into two. After being divided, the already limited divine flame became even weaker, no larger than a fingernail, appearing as fragile lights on the point of going out in the cold wind. Of course, Donald knew this was just an illusion. If any mortal tried to touch this faint flame now, they would surely be burned to ashes, from soul to flesh! After splitting the divine flame, Donald endured the discomfort in his soul and ordered the Book of Truth to infuse faith power into one portion of the flame, while using the remaining soul power to nourish the other. With these two sources of power, the two flames quickly regained strength, returning to the size of a burning match and reaching a level similar to when they were whole. This was why Donald’s divine flame was so powerful—ordinary demi-gods would have had their flames extinguished and fallen back to the demi-god level due to such a division. Donald entrusted the flame infused with faith power to the Book of Truth for control, while he entered his own consciousness world to manipulate the flame nourished by his soul power, drawing divine energy and divinity to evolve various laws within it. “It begins!”

Within the golden glass-like flames, a wisp of fire, a stream of water, a patch of land, along with brilliant light, icy frost mist, gentle breezes, and crystalline hexagonal snowflakes—all surrounded a vibrant sprout of green growing there. The illusory projections formed by the natural divine forces around the original soul pillar were now absorbed by that divine flame.

This process seemed slow, lasting hundreds of hours, but with each passing second, profound changes took place within the divine flame. The fire merged with the brilliant light to become light and heat; the ashes from combustion combined with the shadow of that small patch of land to form scorching magma. The icy frost mist and snowflakes caused the magma to cool and turn into solid rock. Through repeated cycles of heat and cold, the rock shattered into dust, which, mixed with the water flow, became muddy soil. As the breeze blew and the light shone, life was brought to the soil, and soon a sprout of green emerged.

These processes repeated endlessly within the divine flame like a cycle, transforming the illusory into the real with each infusion of divine power. A vast space, as large as a stadium, had been created within that small flame.

Yet this was already the limit of Donald’s control over the divine flame, as he had only just become a demi-god. Such achievements were already astonishing even to the gods.

But Donald wasn’t satisfied. Without hesitation, he took one of the remaining fragments of divine essence he had obtained from the Totem Continent and threw it into the divine flame.

As soon as the fragment entered the flame, it began to melt, as if a prostitute met her client—immediately merging to create new power. This new force acted like fuel, causing the divine flame to grow more than twice as large.

As the flame grew stronger, the speed at which the spatial rules of that nascent divine kingdom were established accelerated even further!

Seeing that his method worked, Donald generously added another fragment of divine essence until all the fragments he had were used up. The flame, once the size of a match flame, had now turned into a blazing fire like a torch.

Soon, the process of creating the divine kingdom could no longer keep up with the growth of the divine flame. Donald frowned for a moment before suddenly having an idea.

He continued the process of creating the divine kingdom and then entered the Realm of Truth.

The Kingdom of Truth was a powerful divine realm created by that former master as he prepared to ascend to the status of a supreme god. Its size was far greater than that of ordinary higher gods’ realms, almost equivalent to half of the main world!
Previously, Donald had scattered demi-gods like Axse and other subordinates of the Lord of Dawn throughout this divine realm. With the vastness of the Book of Truth and the rules of the realm prohibiting flight and the use of teleportation spells, even if two demi-gods wanted to meet each other, it would likely take them ten days or half a month to get there.
Therefore, when Donald arrived, he saw no outsiders. As one of the co-owners of the Book of Truth, he went straight to the Wisdom City, the core of the divine realm, while those thirteen outsiders were scattered around the periphery of the realm, so it was naturally impossible for them to reach here in a short time.
