Chapter 0562: Chaos Stone
An invisible energy current swirled around the Three Peaks of Blue Lion.
Silence reigned.
“What do you mean by coming to our Three Peaks of Blue Lion?” Ruden, the leader of Cloud Gate Peak, stared straight at Yellow Dragon, abandoning his usual arrogance and speaking coldly.
Yellow Dragon did not answer. Instead, he glanced at the swirling triangular pattern and mysterious runes in the sky above the Three Peaks of Blue Lion and said slowly, “Do you really think this formation barrier can stop us?”
Yellow Dragon meant no harm; he was simply speaking truth. Yet to the people of the Three Peaks of Blue Lion, his words sounded highly sarcastic, causing grim expressions among them. Na Zhen, the leader of Rainbow Light Peak, said sternly, “Arrogant and ignorant!”
Huan Nate, the leader of Blue Lion Peak, frowned. If the other party spoke like this, it meant either arrogance or confidence!
Was the other party arrogant? Huan Nate stared at Yellow Dragon’s calm expression, his eyes narrowing.
Suddenly, a shout rang out, followed by a figure leaping forward, swinging a sword that sent an ice dragon charging at Yellow Dragon. The ice dragon roared, turning the surrounding space into ice mist.
The one who acted was Duni, the senior elder of Rainbow Light Peak. He was hot-tempered. After hearing Yellow Dragon’s words and seeing his complete disregard for the Three Peaks of Blue Lion, he became furious and couldn’t help but attack Yellow Dragon.
Huan Nate’s expression changed when he saw Duni attack. He was about to speak to stop him when suddenly he hesitated.
In fact, he also wanted to use Duni to test whether the other party’s strength was truly as terrifying as the rumors suggested.
Yellow Dragon watched as Duni attacked him. He stretched out his hand, gently pressed down, and pinned the head of the ice dragon sent at him in midair. Then, with a push, he sent the ice dragon turning around to attack Duni instead.
Everything happened so quickly. Duni never expected the ice dragon attacking him to turn around and attack him instead. Seeing the ice dragon roaring as it rushed back, he was terrified and fled back behind the formation barrier of the Three Peaks of Blue Lion, finally breathing a sigh of relief.
Protected by the barrier of the Three Peaks of Blue Lion’s formation, he believed the ice dragon would be shattered by its energy.
Huan Nate and the others also breathed a sigh of relief.
Yet, Yellow Dragon had simply pushed the ice dragon back with a gentle motion—what kind of law or rule was this? Such a technique was truly baffling.
Huan Nate and the others were shocked.
In the other party’s hands, the ice dragon seemed alive.
After all, the ice dragon Duni had attacked was merely a creation of ice-based divine power—nothing more than a dead object.
Just as Warner and the others were shocked by the Yellow Dragon’s tactics and felt relieved, suddenly they saw the ice dragon returning with a counterattack penetrate the array barriers of Blue Lion Three Peaks and head straight for Duni. Duni let out a scream as he was flung backward, turning into an ice statue. Then, the ice statue shattered and dispersed into pieces of ice everywhere. Duni’s screams echoed among Blue Lion Three Peaks. Warner and the others stared in disbelief at Duni, now reduced to fragments of ice. After a while, Warner, Nazeen, and Luden raised their heads and looked toward the spot where the ice dragon had passed through the array barriers. Yet the barriers remained active, with no “loopholes” visible. But how could the ice dragon have penetrated those barriers? Not only the people of Blue Lion Three Peaks watched the Yellow Dragon in terror, but even Xido and the others could hardly believe their eyes. The ice dragon, empowered by the Yellow Dragon, circled in the air several times after turning Duni into ice fragments before slowly disappearing. “You… you!” Luden stammered, not daring to speak. Amidst everyone’s astonished gazes, the Yellow Dragon raised his hand, and a brilliant golden light emerged. Then, with a press of his hand in the void, a huge golden palm appeared in the sky above Blue Lion Three Peaks and descended with tremendous force. Warner and the others looked up at the golden palm that covered the sky, abandoning all sense of shock and fleeing at full speed. The array barriers they had thought could withstand attacks from even the strongest gods now seemed utterly useless in their eyes. As Warner and the others fled, the golden palm crashed down, causing the triangular patterns in the sky above Blue Lion Three Peaks to emit intense light as they collided with the palm. After a brief pause, there was a sharp “crack,” and the patterns were scattered by the golden palm. Those mysterious runes disappeared like falling rain. The golden palm left its mark in the center of Blue Lion Three Peaks. With a loud roar, the surrounding area trembled violently; all the mountains around Blue Lion Three Peaks shook. After a while, Warner and the others, who had narrowly escaped, stared in horror at the massive golden palm print covering most of Blue Lion Three Peaks, unable to recover from their shock. It took a long time before they realized that the array barriers had been broken by the Yellow Dragon! The barriers of Blue Lion Three Peaks were impossible for ordinary gods to break—so what did it mean that the Yellow Dragon had done it?! When Warner and the others looked at the Yellow Dragon again, their expressions changed, just as Xido and the others’ expressions changed as well.
Then, the crowd could no longer suppress their trembling bodies and stared at the Yellow Dragon with excitement. Of course, Warner and the others were more panicked than excited.
“This, my lord!” Warner and the others cautiously approached the Yellow Dragon, speaking in a trembling, respectful tone, unsure of what to say.
The Yellow Dragon glanced at them.
“Stand up,” he said calmly.
Warner and the others trembled before snapping back to reality. Their faces lit up with relief as they stood up respectfully, feeling as if they had escaped death.
The fact that the Yellow Dragon allowed them to stand up meant he had no intention of pursuing them for what had happened earlier.
In fact, Warner and the others were right— the Yellow Dragon had not come to subdue Blue Lion Three Peaks. If he had killed them all, what purpose would there be in subduing Blue Lion Three Peaks?
Although Warner and the others were weaker, as peerless warriors, they could still serve the Yellow Dragon as messengers.
Moreover, the Yellow Dragon wanted to use them to intimidate various forces in the Moor Mountains, sparing himself the trouble of subduing each peak one by one.
After standing up, they kept their heads bowed, not daring to breathe loudly.
A while later, Warner, Nazeen, and Luden, along with the elders of Blue Lion Three Peaks, excitedly welcomed the Yellow Dragon into the Blue Lion Hall. As for the death of Dunie, the elder of Rainbow Peak, it had long been forgotten by everyone.
In the Blue Lion Hall, Warner and the others, just like Xido before them, expressed their loyalty to the Yellow Dragon.
Although Warner and the others had sworn by the name of the Creator, the Yellow Dragon still used divine imprinting to fully control them. After all, this was the Chaos Divine Plane, not a mid-tier divine plane.
The Yellow Dragon clearly told them the consequences of betrayal.
After hearing his words, Warner and the others truly submitted to him, no longer daring to harbor any ulterior motives.
Three months later, 383 forces of various sizes in the Moor Mountains submitted to Blue Lion Three Peaks—indirectly, they were submitting to the Yellow Dragon.
Although Blue Lion Three Peaks had been the strongest three forces in the Moor Mountains before, unifying the entire mountain range had proven difficult, and they had never succeeded.
But once the Yellow Dragon shattered their formation barriers with a single palm, word of Blue Lion Three Peaks’ submission spread throughout the Moor Mountains. The forces that had opposed them not only stopped resisting but also rushed to pledge allegiance to Blue Lion Three Peaks first.
After all, no one wanted to risk their lives or the future of their families.
The power with which the Yellow Dragon shattered their formation barriers was beyond their ability to resist.
The Moor Mountains were unified.
After 383 factions were unified, there were over a billion god-tier warriors, tens of millions of higher gods, and more than 500 peerless warriors. Such a force might not be significant in the Chaos Divine Realm, but it was still a force that could not be ignored by the surrounding cities.
With the unification of the Mor Mountain Range, and due to its remote location plus Huang Long’s strict orders, it did not cause much upheaval or discussion among other factions.
“Where could the Dragon Head of the Chaos Divine Dragon be?” Huang Long pondered atop the Blue Lion Hall.
During the three months since the unification of the Mor Mountain Range, Huang Long had studied various parts of the Chaos Divine Realm but found no relevant information. The Chaos Divine Dragon had not mentioned the exact location of its Dragon Head, only that it was in the Chaos Divine Realm. Yet, the realm was vast and boundless, making it difficult for Huang Long to search.
“Master!” As Huang Long was lost in thought, Warner entered from outside the hall and spoke respectfully.
“What is it?” Huang Long returned to reality.
“I’ve found out about the Chaos Stone you asked me to look for. I heard that there will be a large trade fair in Tianjie soon, where there should be the Chaos Stone you need,” Warner replied.
“Oh, Tianjie?” Huang Long was puzzled.
The Chaos Stone was an important material for crafting Post-Heavenly Spiritual Treasures. A while ago, Huang Long had asked Warner to keep an eye out, and here was news so quickly.
After Warner’s explanation, Huang Long learned about the origin of Tianjie. Tianjie was a trading market in the Chaos Divine Realm, similar to the Commerce Hall in the Netherworld. However, unlike the Commerce Hall, which was controlled by various major families in the intermediate divine realms, Tianjie was a place for free trade.
“When?” Huang Long asked, intrigued.
Perhaps he could find information about the Dragon Head of the Chaos Divine Dragon there as well.
“In two months,” Warner replied promptly.
Two months? Huang Long nodded. There was still plenty of time. Tianjie was located in the heart of the Kale Continent.
“Get ready. We set off tomorrow!” Huang Long said after some thought.
Tomorrow? Warner was stunned for a moment before respectfully agreeing and retreating.
The next day, Warner and over a dozen others arrived at the hall to await Huang Long.
This time, since Huang Long was going to Tianjie, he traveled lightly, bringing only Warner and a few others.
“Master, I heard the Chaos Stone is very expensive,” Warner said cautiously, observing Huang Long’s expression along the way.
A Chaos Stone, the size of a palm, cost tens of trillions!
“I know,” Huang Long replied with a calm smile, understanding Warner’s concern.
