Chapter 16: Seizing the Fruit

The four groups—the Electric Eel Clan, the Whirlwater Fish Clan, the Water-Parting Lobster Clan, and the Sea Rat Clan—reached the depths of the underwater secret realm. Finding no attacks from water blades, they immediately decided to split up and search for the World-Heaven Fruit Tree on their own.
At that moment, the three members of the Whirlwater Fish Clan were flying swiftly in one direction.
“Zhuikong, Zhuixing, keep your demonic senses active at all times to detect if those three clans are following us,” the team leader, Zhuihai, transmitted through his demonic sense.
The World-Heaven Fruit Tree was discovered by Zhuibin, a three-star Heavenly Soul Demon expert from the Whirlwater Fish Clan. Although Zhuibin was dead, among his belongings was one of Zhuihai’s life-bound demonic weapons—the Water-Splitting Snail. Naturally, Zhuihai only needed to lock onto the location of his weapon to fly straight toward the World-Heaven Fruit Tree.
“Leader, don’t worry. We won’t let those three clans discover us. They surely can’t imagine that Zhuibin brought one of your life-bound demonic weapons when he came to explore this underwater secret realm,” thought Zhuikong, who had a somewhat fierce appearance.
Immediately, the three of them smiled triumphantly and continued flying fast ahead.
Although the special spiritual energy in the surrounding ocean was highly corrosive, it posed no threat to the three strong members of the Whirlwater Fish Clan. They only needed to expend a little of their demonic essence to neutralize its danger.

The fine sand formed from the Dimension Ball was also drifting along with the current within the secret realm. Undoubtedly, the Weapon God inside the Dimension Ball had noticed the movements of the three strong members of the Whirlwater Fish Clan and heard their transmissions through demonic senses.
“Qu Yi, it seems your plan to get to the World-Heaven Fruit first is going to run into some trouble. Those three strong members of the Whirlwater Fish Clan are constantly flying toward where the World-Heaven Fruit Tree is,” said the Weapon God, lying on a soft chair with a faint smile.
Damn! I knew it wouldn’t be that easy to get the World-Heaven Fruit, Qu Yi showed an unhappy expression.
“If that’s the case, I’ll have to interfere with them,” Qu Yi said resolutely, shrugging his shoulders.
Immediately, the fine sand from the Dimension Ball moved in the direction the three members of the Whirlwater Fish Clan were heading. As they rushed forward, the Dimension Ball fell into Zhuihai’s clothes.
At that moment, the Weapon God reminded him again, “Qu Yi, the strong members of the Electric Eel Clan, the Water-Parting Lobster Clan, and the Sea Rat Clan have already followed the Whirlwater Fish Clan and will arrive soon.”
Qu Yi was stunned for a moment before smiling.

The three members of the Electric Eel Clan: Lei Ling, Lei Kong, and Lei Tong.

“Hmph, the three members of the Swirling Water Tribe think we don’t know their plans. The World Tree in this underwater secret realm was discovered by Chui Bin from the Swirling Water Tribe, and they also have plans to come here alone to search for it. Undoubtedly, Chui Bin must be carrying some special items that allow Chui Hai and the others to easily determine the direction and find the World Tree’s location.” Lei Ling snarled as he followed from behind.

“Captain, I think Chui Hai, Chui Kong, and Chui Xing definitely can’t imagine that the traces they leave as they move through this secret realm have been under our surveillance the whole time. It’s impossible for them to shake us off,” said Lei Kong, whose muscular frame was extremely impressive, with a smile.

It turned out that as these three strong members of the Electric Eel Tribe flew, they would occasionally release miniature lightning bolts into the seawater. When those lightning bolts encountered the energy ripples left by the three Swirling Water Tribe members, they would instantly disappear. The three Electric Eel Tribe members had thus been able to keep track of the Swirling Water Tribe members’ flight path.

Coincidentally, behind the Swirling Water Tribe, six strong members from two other tribes—the Water-Parting Lobster Tribe and the Sea Rat Tribe—had also joined forces and were following the Swirling Water Tribe members’ trail with precision.

Shui Kong, the leader of the Water-Parting Lobster Tribe, had transformed into his beast form: a hundred-meter-long red lobster. With the swishing of his two giant pincers, a void would form in the seawater ahead of him. This was the Water-Parting Lobster Tribe’s innate ability—to part water.

“Hmph, although we can’t track the traces of the three Swirling Water Tribe members, as long as we can track those of the three Electric Eel Tribe members, we can find them and thus locate the World Tree,” Shui Kong said with a smile as he effortlessly used his pincers to part the water.

“That’s right. This time, with our two tribes united, we’ll definitely catch the Electric Eel Tribe and the Swirling Water Tribe off guard. We just need to wait until they fight to the end, then destroy their strong members. Not only will the World Tree be shared by our two tribes, but we’ll also eliminate those two tribes. From then on, Tian Su Star will belong to the Water-Parting Lobster Tribe and the Sea Rat Tribe,” said Zang Yang, the leader of the Sea Rat Tribe, squinting.

Hahaha—evil laughter echoed in the space created by the parted water.

One month later.

After much hardship, the three members of the Swirling Water Tribe finally arrived at a strange place. In this area, the special spiritual energy that could corrode one’s fundamental essence had disappeared. The entire region was actually a vast spiritual energy space—without seawater, just pure spiritual energy—with a ground covered in blue-lit rocks.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
The three members of theXuan Shui Fish Clan—Chui Hai, Chui Kong, and Chui Xing—entered this special space, chasing after the sea, the sky, and the stars.
“We’ve finally found it! I can sense the location of the Realm Sky Fruit—it’s just a hundred miles away,” Chui Hai exclaimed excitedly as he landed.
This special space was actually five hundred miles in size, all within the sensing range of these three’s demonic senses.
“Captain, what are we waiting for? Let’s go pick all the Realm Sky Fruits!” Chui Kong shouted, his eyes gleaming.
The three immediately prepared to take off.
Suddenly, Qu Yi appeared.
“You three still think you can seize the Realm Sky Fruits? How overconfident,” Qu Yi sneered.
At the same time, one million Winged Ice Snakes emerged from the Dimension Sphere, forming a formation and instantly releasing ice breaths.
An ice prison!
After Qu Yi had dealt with the Winged Ice Snakes on Tianjiu Star in the Mulin Star Region, he had captured one million of them, and now they came in handy.
One million ice points appeared simultaneously, instantly encasing the three members of theXuan Shui Fish Clan.
“Bastards!”
“Shameless!”
“Hateful!”
The three cursed in anger but had no choice but to fight back against the ice prison. Chui Hai was a five-star Heavenly Soul Demon, while Chui Kong and Chui Xing were both four-star Heavenly Soul Demons, so dealing with this ice prison was not difficult for them.
After all, the ice prison created by these one million Winged Ice Snakes was equivalent to the strength of a two-star Heavenly Soul Demon.
In the blink of an eye, the three broke through the ice prison.
Unfortunately, they didn’t notice Qu Yi.
This was exactly the time Qu Yi needed. He used the one million Winged Ice Snakes to delay the three while he teleported to the side of the Realm Sky Fruit Tree.
The Realm Sky Fruit Tree was pure blue, over a hundred meters tall, with only a dozen sparse branches, standing alone in this special space.
The spiritual energy in the space was absorbed by the tree’s branches in a spiral pattern. Currently, there were only four fist-sized fruits of different colors on the branches—green, blue, red, and yellow—corresponding to the elements of wood, water, fire, and earth.
As soon as Qu Yi arrived, he didn’t bother admiring the tree. Instead, he unleashed chaotic energy and immediately picked all four Realm Sky Fruits, placing them inside the Dimension Sphere.
In an instant, Qu Yi teleported out of the special space, stopped in the corrosive spiritual energy-filled seawater, and then entered the Dimension Sphere.

In this special space, if Qu Yi entered the inch-bound sphere, he would naturally be detected by the three members of the Whirlpool Fish Clan. But in this environment with corrosive spiritual energy, their demonic senses were hindered, so they naturally wouldn’t notice Qu Yi’s movements. The three members of the Whirlpool Fish Clan had just broken through the ice-bound realm of the Winged Ice Snakes and immediately sensed that the four World Sky Fruits had disappeared. They then realized that Qu Yi had left this special space. “I’ll kill you…” Chui Hai, Chui Kong, and Chui Xing roared in fury. Soon, the three arrived beside the World Sky Fruit tree, their eyes wide open—yet they still saw no remaining World Sky Fruit on the branch. “Chui Kong, Chui Xing, what kind of demon beast was that person just now? Did you notice anything?” Chui Hai calmed down a bit. Since Qu Yi’s presence had vanished, getting angry was useless. Chui Hai wanted to analyze some information about Qu Yi in order to track him down. “No…” Chui Kong and Chui Xing shook their heads. Qu Yi’s appearance was too mysterious—he appeared out of nowhere, followed by an attack from a million Winged Ice Snakes. Moreover, the energy waves from his teleportation weren’t from the Five Elements. How could the three figure out his identity? “Hmph, that guy sent Winged Ice Snakes to attack us. I bet he must have been to Tianjiu Star in the Wood Forest Star Region before. Let’s capture the Winged Ice Snakes first, ask about that bastard, and then think of a plan,” Chui Hai said coldly. Chui Kong and Chui Xing were also filled with rage. Hearing Chui Hai’s words, they immediately nodded. The three quickly returned to the battlefield, where the million Winged Ice Snakes were still gathered together in a circular formation, coiled on the ground, staring coldly at the three powerful members of the Whirlpool Fish Clan. “Winged Ice Snakes, you can’t withstand our three attacks. I’m giving you a chance—tell us who’s controlling you and who that person really is. If you do, I’ll spare your lives,” Chui Hai said, frowning at the million Winged Ice Snakes and emitting overwhelming pressure as he demanded fiercely. As soon as he finished speaking, the million Winged Ice Snakes spat out ice points simultaneously once again, forming another massive circular ice barrier that covered the three members of the Whirlpool Fish Clan. Since these Winged Ice Snakes were under the control of the Soul-Embracing Flower’s core, they certainly wouldn’t reveal the truth to the three. “Bastards, you’re seeking death!” Chui Hai, Chui Kong, and Chui Xing shouted in outrage.

Immediately, three powerful members of the Whirlpool Fish tribe waved their hands swiftly, and hundreds of vortices formed by the power of the Water World appeared at the same time, flying toward the Winged Ice Snakes. The frozen realm was instantly broken, and as the hundreds of vortices continued to rush in, they quickly covered one million Winged Ice Snakes. With just a single swirl, all one million of them died. Not a single drop of blood was left on the ground! At that moment, three members of the Electric Eel tribe entered this special space.
