Chapter 284: The Sudden Crisis

“Boss, something serious has happened!” Fat, who had just connected to the communicator, heard a voice that sounded extremely urgent and anxious.
“Don’t panic. Take your time and explain!” Fat reassured him. It was one of his scouts, who also possessed cultivation at the Tribulation stage.
“Boss, there’s a severe celestial uprising in the Death Star Region. I was originally here to take over from my colleague for investigation, but it seems he might already be dead now.”
“What exactly happened? Explain clearly!” Fat pressed for details.
“I don’t know either. By the time I reached the outskirts of the Death Star Region, it was already in complete chaos—too chaotic to approach. According to that fellow from the Heavenly Sword Sect who managed to escape, a riot broke out suddenly with no warning. Among the scouts from various factions, only he managed to escape; the others are missing. Judging from the severity of the chaos, it’s likely no one survived.”
After hearing this account, Fat frowned deeply. “Did you notice anything unusual? Was that palace seen?”
“No. That fellow from the Heavenly Sword Sect said he seemed to see Daofeng and a few others, but he admitted he was a bit distracted at the time. By the time he noticed Daofeng, Daofeng had already left.” The scout was unsure, as the only witness was from the Heavenly Sword Sect. Since even he couldn’t be certain, the reliability of his information was low.
“What? He saw Daofeng?!” Fat couldn’t help but exclaim.
Hearing his shout, everyone turned to look at him.
“Any news about Ye Feng?” Long Tian appeared beside Fat in an instant.
“We’ll head there right away. Stay put and keep an eye on the situation.” Fat hung up the call and turned to the expectant group. “There’s a severe celestial uprising in the Death Star Region, and someone claims to have seen Daofeng. The truth of this news isn’t confirmed yet. I’m going to check it out. Who wants to come with me?”
“I’ll go!” Long Tian replied without hesitation. “It’s better than having no news at all.”
“Where to?” At that moment, a somewhat lazy voice came from the door, startling everyone present.

“Ye Feng?!” Long Tian immediately turned toward the source of the voice. A young man slowly stepped into the hall where they were gathered and walked toward them.
“You’ve finally arrived in the realm of cultivation!” The man came up to them. It was a familiar face, with a gentle smile on his lips and eyes shining with undisguised joy.
“You brat, how dare you speak like that? You’ve been missing for over three hundred years! Ever since we came here, we’ve been worried sick about your safety,” Pearl pretended to be angry.
“Sis Pearl, it’s been over three hundred years since we last saw each other. Can’t you stop scolding me as soon as we meet?” Ye Feng looked somewhat helpless. “Do you think I wanted to be trapped in that damned cauldron for three hundred years? I racked my brains to find a way to escape.”
“We were already ready to enter that palace to look for you!” Long Tian felt a huge weight lift from his heart when he saw Ye Feng safe and sound.
“Now that Dao Feng is back, you don’t need to follow me. There’s a celestial disturbance over there, and I need to go take a look,” Fat said before preparing to leave. “Since Dao Feng has emerged, it means that palace should have appeared already.”
“That palace won’t appear again. But what exactly is this celestial disturbance you mentioned?” Ye Feng asked, puzzled.
“Our scouts say there’s a severe celestial disturbance there,” Fat explained briefly.
“How is that possible? Didn’t Liu Luan already disappear? How could it still cause such large-scale changes in the starfield?” Ye Feng focused his mental energy on his arm to inquire about the celestial disturbance.
“Celestial disturbances are normal. After all, Liu Luan itself has immense mass and a strong gravitational pull. There’s a small galaxy in the Death Starfield whose movement is directly affected by Liu Luan. Now that Liu Luan is gone, that small galaxy will be greatly impacted. The chaos in that small galaxy can create a butterfly effect, leading to chaos across the entire starfield. Since the Death Starfield is special, with all its stars being highly dense, any change triggers a chain reaction.”
“You mean the changes in that starfield are because you left?” Ye Feng suddenly understood.
“By the way, Dao Feng, you just said that palace won’t appear again. What do you mean by that?” Fat pressed further. “If the palace won’t appear, why are those stars still showing large-scale anomalies? Do you know something?”

“That palace has disappeared and will never appear again. That massive disturbance was caused by the disappearance of the palace,” Ye Feng explained.
“How do you know it will never reappear? The last time we were transported out, the palace also vanished.” Fat clearly wasn’t convinced.
“Well, everyone here today isn’t an outsider. I won’t hide anything anymore. I already have that palace in my hands, so it won’t appear again.” Ye Feng knew that without a definite answer, Fat wouldn’t give up easily.
“You mean the palace recognizes you as its master?” Fat stared at Ye Feng with wide eyes.
Ye Feng extended his right hand. In his palm lay a delicate palace the size of a palm, so lifelike that Fat and the others were stunned.
“See it?” Ye Feng clenched his fist, and the miniature palace disappeared instantly.
“The treasures inside…” Fat looked at Ye Feng with flattery in his eyes, clearly still thinking about more treasures in that palace.
“Some so-called treasures? You guys already took all of them. Among the remaining immortal artifacts, there aren’t even many of high quality left.” Ye Feng’s expression showed some anger.
“Don’t blame me. Your Bernard almost took all the pills on that shelf.” Fat muttered softly. “Although Xiao Yu didn’t take many things, they were all of high quality.”
“By the way, I almost forgot about them. Where did they go? Why can’t we see them?” Ye Feng looked around, but found nothing.
“They went somewhere to cultivate on their own,” Lilith finally spoke up. “I’ll use the communicator to contact them and ask them to come back.”
“BOSS, since the palace is gone, we don’t need to go to the Death Star Region again,” Kastedio said, glancing at Fat before asking.
“Fat, call your people back. There’s no point in staying here. Besides, when I came out, I encountered a few guys from the Demon Realm, whose strength is at least on par with that of true immortals. I’m not sure what their intentions are yet.”
“Alright!” Fat nodded. Since the palace was gone, he felt there was no need to stay. After all, his group had sent spies there just to wait for the palace to reopen.
“Xiao Yu and Xiao Bei said they’ll be able to return today!” Lilith put down the communicator she had just used to talk to the two beasts and said to Ye Feng and the others.

“That’s good. Everyone will finally be together,” Ye Feng said with a smile.
“Dao Feng, what level of cultivation are you at now? Why can’t I sense anything at all?” Fat stared at Ye Feng from head to toe and couldn’t help asking.
“It should be around the level of an immortal!” Ye Feng replied with a smile. “My Yuan Ying has disappeared. The current classification of cultivation levels is different from yours.”
“Yuan Ying has disappeared?” Everyone was stunned upon hearing this.
“It didn’t disintegrate due to an attack; it transformed into another form,” Ye Feng explained.
For ordinary cultivators, the disappearance of Yuan Ying meant the loss of all cultivation energy, and in severe cases, death. So when they heard Ye Feng say this, they were extremely surprised.
“No wonder I felt like you had become an ordinary person,” Fat realized suddenly. “Before, no matter how well you hid your cultivation level, it was obvious you were a cultivator. Now, there’s no trace of energy fluctuations at all, and your aura is completely concealed. It’s impossible to tell what level you’re at.”
“Fat, you haven’t slacked off these years either. You must be at the level of a Heavenly Immortal now.” Ye Feng glanced around. “Lili and Kas have also reached the level of Heavenly Immortals. Gu Nan isn’t far behind either—he’s already a True Immortal.”
Ye Feng’s gaze swept around before settling on Long Tian and the others. When he saw Long Tian, he was slightly taken aback. “Brother Long, you… are already at the level of an immortal?”
“A bit of luck,” Long Tian nodded indifferently.
But Ye Feng’s expression showed some confusion. “Your aura is strange. May I take a look?”
Although puzzled, Long Tian still nodded.
Ye Feng placed one hand on Long Tian’s wrist. Three fingers emitted three streams of energy that flowed upward along Long Tian’s meridians. When the energy reached near his dantian, it vanished completely, as if it had disappeared into the sea.
This shocked Ye Feng greatly. After all, he was already a Void Walker, and the energy in his body was completely different from the immortal energy of the immortal realm—it wasn’t something that could be easily dissipated.
“Hmph! A mere beginner Void Walker dares to interfere in my affairs!” This voice was only heard by Long Tian. Just as he tried to stop him, he felt an energy burst from his dantian and rushed into Ye Feng’s body at lightning speed along his arm.
Ye Feng spat out a mouthful of blood and was thrown back as if struck hard.
“Ye Feng!” Long Tian cried out in alarm. “Tun Tian, what did you do to him?”

“Nothing much, just a small lesson. I left a cluster of my energy inside him. His cultivation level should be completely consumed by my energy within three days, turning him into an ordinary person. Don’t worry; I know he’s your brother, so I didn’t go too far. If anyone else tried to interfere, I would have shattered his soul forever, preventing him from being reborn!”
“Take back your energy!” Long Tian roared in anger.
“I can’t. In the past, when I still had a body, I might have been able to do it. But now, my powers have been greatly reduced, and I can no longer reverse this move.”
“Damn it! Tell me how I can save him!” Long Tian cursed angrily.
“It depends on him. If he can hold on for three days until my energy’s effect wears off and there’s still some energy left in his body, his cultivation level might only drop by a few ranks. My strength has weakened a lot now, but it’s not entirely impossible.”
“There’s another possibility: he could absorb my energy and gain an increase in strength. But that’s only theoretically possible; I’ve never seen anyone do it before!” The voice of Tun Tian carried a hint of pride.
“Why did you do this?” Long Tian’s expression turned icy.
“I can ignore other things, but anything that might threaten our relationship will be eliminated…” Tun Tian’s voice gradually faded, and no matter how Long Tian called out, there was no trace left of him.
