Chapter 4: Troublesome Water
“Bang!” The door was flung open, and a gust of cold wind rushed in, causing Komer to frown. Such reckless behavior, and in his own room—apparently, aside from Shatima, there could be no one else.
The door latch was shattered by Shatima’s kick; it seemed this female ice dragon had fully regained her former strength. It was just unclear whether Shatima could switch between her human form and her true form at will. If she could, then someone would really need to deal with her.
Already annoyed, Shatima was stunned by what she saw. Komer calmly withdrew his hand from Lome’s half-naked, graceful breasts. Filled with anger and a hint of shame, Lome turned slightly, revealing her beautiful bare back to Shatima. Her smooth, jade-like back and delicate shoulders looked pitiable and tempting.
Komer frowned. It had been a long time since he had enjoyed such indulgence. Lome’s sultry gaze had almost melted him many times before, but he was always hindered by various objective factors. Today, finally getting his wish to be with her, he was ruined by this annoying interruption.
“Komer, what are you and Lome doing here?”
Shatima’s question almost made Komer spit out the coffee he had just taken into his mouth. Only Shatima would ask such a question. After all, she had been around for years, especially by his side. It didn’t seem like this was the first time she had seen him with another woman. Yet her sudden, blunt question was truly unbearable.
Lome’s rosy cheeks spread to her bare shoulders. Although her relationship with Komer was already semi-public among those around him, such a direct question was still hard for her to accept.
“What are we doing? Shatima, please stop asking such stupid questions, okay?” Komer snapped. “Do you really not understand, or are you pretending not to? Lome and I are having an emotional exchange. Is that answer satisfactory?”
“Komer, your emotions are really complex. Do you and Grace often have such emotional exchanges? What about Eve? Oh, and that perverted little bird, Fenitz—aren’t you a bit too energetic in this regard?” Shatima said angrily, crossing her arms.
“I’m emotional or full of energy—seems it doesn’t really affect you, does it? Coming in all excited like this, it’s not just to watch me express my emotions, is it?” Komer suppressed his anger. Getting angry with this guy was purely a waste of effort and mood; he didn’t want to argue further about this issue. Facing someone like this, he could only accept his bad luck and signaled Lome to leave first. Komer glared at Shatima resentfully.
It wasn’t until Lome’s figure disappeared down the hallway that Shatima kicked the door shut again with dissatisfaction. This action easily led Komer to misunderstand things.
“Komer, you seem upset?”
“Hmph, any normal man wouldn’t be happy in this situation.”
“Because I interrupted your fun time? Why do you guys men like that so much? Is it really that intoxicating?” Shatima licked her bright red, plump lips, looking eager to know the truth. Her full breasts trembled slightly, causing Komer, who had already lost interest, to feel tempted again.
“Uh, there are some things you don’t understand…” Komer said awkwardly.
“Don’t understand? Who understands everything from birth? If you don’t tell me and teach me, how can I understand?”
Shatima’s blunt words almost choked Komer. Seeing her serious expression, he swallowed hard. “Shatima, uh, how should I put it? This… well, it requires personal experience. Do you understand?”
Komer’s stammering words made Shatima look dismissive. “Isn’t it just touching bodies and kissing? I don’t see anything special about it.”
Komer really couldn’t figure out this female ice dragon’s thoughts. He calmed himself down, glanced at her, and after a long while, slowly said, “Shatima, tell me, what exactly do you want?”
“I don’t want anything special. I just want the same rights as other women. If they can get them, why can’t I?”
Shatima’s words left Komer speechless once again. After a long while, he finally managed to say, “Shatima, you didn’t come to see me just for this issue, did you?”
“No. I originally planned to ask about going to the South Cordillera Wasteland, but I changed my mind. Seeing you and that pair, Lome, together here made me feel uncomfortable. I think I should enjoy everything I deserve.” Shatima said sullenly.
“Enjoy? You deserve it?” What nonsense is that? Yet this plump and alluring woman sitting in front of me is indeed quite tempting; her appearance makes it hard to associate her with a dragon. Legend has it that dragons and humans share the same origin, but dragons are more favored by the Creator God and possess the ability to transform, while humans have gradually evolved into the fragile species they are today over the course of history.
“Yes, why can Lomei, Grace, and the others do it, but not me? Am I inferior to them?” Shatima asked boldly.
“Do you really want to be like them?” Komer rolled his eyes with a strange expression.
“Mm.”
“Very well, I can consider it. Stand up in front of me and take off your corset first.” Komer swallowed hard and spoke slowly, word by word.
“Huh?” Shatima was stunned. Although she had no aversion to being naked, having lived in the human world for so long, she understood what it meant for a woman to expose her bare body in front of a man. “Is it really necessary?”
“Of course. Otherwise, how can we cultivate passion and atmosphere?” Komer sneered. “If you want to experience the most wonderful taste between humans of the opposite sex, you need to start with the basics.”
