Chapter 5: Affection Always Betrayed by Heartlessness

Shatima hesitated, as this was something she had never experienced before. The longer she stayed among humans, the more humanized her physical form became. To be precise, she found herself increasingly accustomed to being a human rather than a dragon. From her mindset to her emotions, from customs to daily life, she unconsciously saw herself as a woman. The only aspect she hadn’t yet ventured into was likely the sexual relationships between men and women. Faced with such an attempt now, Shatima felt fear for the first time.

Yet when she saw the faint smirk and mockery on Komer’s face, anger immediately overshadowed her reason. Was this guy mocking her for not daring to try? When had Shatima ever been afraid of a challenge?

“Fine, I’ll take it off—just the bra?” Shatima said indignantly. “Why don’t you take off your clothes?”

“Hehe, take your time. First, take off the bra. Learn from Lome earlier—keep it partially covered, play hard to get. Understand? To truly experience human emotional connection, one needs a bit of humility. As for whether I’ll take off my clothes, that’s due to gender differences. You’ll gradually understand that.” Komer almost laughed inwardly. Teaching such an ignorant mother dragon was truly meaningful. Let her face this challenge properly.

“It’s so troublesome. How exactly do I take it off?” Confused by Komer’s vague words, Shatima, who had already taken off her outer clothes, now used her fingers to pull apart half of the bra’s straps, revealing most of her chest, just short of fully removing it. “Is this it?”

“Mm, yes, that’s right. Keep that posture—great. Chest out, abdomen in, head down. Yes, that’s the look.” Komer laughed inwardly but had to pretend to be gentle and affectionate on the surface. Yet the pose he had designed actually had a fierce presence, even shaking Komer slightly.

Shatima tried her best to meet Komer’s demands. Though these actions were something she had never done or even imagined, the thought of experiencing humanity’s most mysterious emotional realm made her endure the awkwardness.

Komer stood up, calm and composed, and admired the vividly beautiful figure before him. He nodded slightly. “Mm, there’s a hint of flavor already. Shatima, good job.”

“Uh, Komer, is that it? I don’t feel any special emotional connection you mentioned at all.”
“Don’t be impatient. Haste makes waste. Matters of emotion can never be resolved overnight; they need to be nurtured slowly to truly understand their essence.” Komer smiled. “Alright, let’s move on to the next step—unfasten your belt, yes, take off your pants…”
“What?!” No matter how open-minded Shatima was, she found this somewhat excessive.
“That’s right, just like that…”
Furious, Shatima rushed forward and grabbed Komer by the chest. “Komer, are you mocking me? I didn’t see Lome do this!”
Komer hadn’t expected his request to provoke such a strong reaction. To him, since the first step had been taken, the second seemed logical, but he didn’t realize she would be so sensitive and bring up Lome as an example.
“Well, Shatima, we hadn’t even reached that stage before you interrupted us, right? Ah, why are you so impatient?”
Shatima’s full, firm breasts pressed against Komer’s face, her gentle scent mixed with her plump body stirring his already unfulfilled desires, like kindling thrown into a haystack, igniting everything instantly.
As he licked his lips, trying to discern some taste, he heard faint footsteps approaching from afar, snapping him back to his senses. If anyone saw them now, things would get complicated later. If Shatima, in her naivety, blurted out something, it would embarrass him greatly. The time to taste this ‘female dragon’ wasn’t right yet.
“Uh, alright, Shatima, put your corset back on first. Let me explain to you properly why human emotions evolve from mild to intense, from shallow to deep.” He casually pinched her full breasts, his fingers lingering slightly on her firm, elastic flesh.
By the time Eve entered, Komer and Shatima had returned to a casual conversation. Only after Shatima glared at Eve unhappily and left did Komer truly relax. It seemed he’d have to wait a while longer to taste this ‘fat meat’.

Actually, Eve had sensed something strange as soon as she entered, but she never imagined that Comer would engage in any kind of flirtation with that brainless woman with big breasts. In her view, Comer could be with any woman around him, but certainly not with some eccentric and unusual woman. She had underestimated the truth in the saying that men are animals driven by their lower instincts.

Comer immediately sensed Eve’s coldness. He didn’t know what had angered this increasingly silent young priestess again. Comer’s probing gaze made Eve’s heart tremble slightly, but she quickly strengthened her resolve: “Comer, I want to go to the South Cordillera Wasteland with Dragoemo and the others to join this mission.”

“You want to go too?” Comer was surprised. If Shatima wanted to go, it was understandable, but why did Eve also want to take this journey?

“Oh, who else wants to go?” Eve raised her beautiful eyebrows.

“N-no one else wants to go. Shatima said she hopes to get a chance to hone her skills.” Comer felt that Eve and Shatima definitely had different reasons.

“If possible, I hope not to return to Nicosia for now.” Eve was calm, but Comer still keenly sensed the sadness beneath her calmness.

In an instant, Comer seemed to understand the source of Eve’s sadness. Bayezid and Javier had both warned him, and although he had also hinted vaguely, he had never given her any clear answers. Thinking about it, he really had a talent for being foolish. If even Tracy could enjoy the dignity of being the master of the Kapok Castle in Sparta, what about Eve? What about Grace? Now there was also Vyrana—no wonder…

“Alright, anyway, I also want Eve to help me check out Flanders and Sifnos Island. It might be good for Grace to accompany Eve. If Eve really likes Flanders, how about making her your permanent resident in the palace?” Comer’s smile was as bright as the autumn sun.
