Chapter 0703: Trapped in the Dimensional Space
Half a month later, Huang Long and his two companions passed through countless grand arrays and finally reached the edge of the other end of the Abyss of Ten Thousand Arrays.
Seeing the end of the Abyss of Ten Thousand Arrays right before them, Livia couldn’t help but feel delighted. Her pretty face lit up as she smiled and said, “We’re finally about to cross this Abyss of Ten Thousand Arrays!”
Along the way, aside from the Yanmu Grand Array, Huang Long and his companions encountered three more Hongmeng Primordial Grand Arrays, all of which were broken by Huang Long one by one.
Beyond the fourth layer of the Abyss of Ten Thousand Arrays was the fifth layer—the Abyss of Ancient Corpses!
Huang Long also said with a smile, “Then let’s hurry. We need to reach the fifth layer before Keller and the others!” As he spoke, his tone changed slightly, “But still, we must be careful!”
There were still hundreds of meters left for Huang Long and his companions to fully cross the Abyss of Ten Thousand Arrays. Huang Long knew that even these few hundred meters wouldn’t be easy to traverse.
Livia and Huoyang also lost their smiles, nodding seriously. They understood what Huang Long meant.
“Let’s go then!” said Huang Long.
The three of them flew forward.
Just as Huang Long had predicted, although it was only a few hundred meters, fully crossing the Abyss of Ten Thousand Arrays wasn’t easy at all. As soon as they flew forward, the scene around them changed, and they found themselves in a space that resembled a divine realm!
Huang Long frowned upon seeing the continuous mountains below, the light blue lakes, and the roaming magical beasts.
Livia and Huoyang were also shocked.
What kind of grand array is this?!
Just now, through their spiritual senses, the two had detected that people were actually living in this space that resembled a divine realm—almost indistinguishable from a true divine realm.
“What kind of grand array is this?!” Livia couldn’t help but ask in confusion. Then she and Huoyang looked at Huang Long, as he had the highest expertise in arrays among the three.
Huang Long shook his head. “I don’t know either!”
Huang Long considered his own skills in arrays to be quite good, but he really couldn’t tell what kind of grand array this was—or perhaps it wasn’t even a grand array at all?! Of course, this was just Huang Long’s guess. Whether this space resembling a divine realm was indeed a grand array required further confirmation.
“Let’s go down and take a look first,” suggested Huoyang.
Huang Long and Livia nodded.
A while later, the three arrived at a village below.
As soon as they landed, a middle-aged man dressed like a hunter came toward them. Huang Long and his companions stepped forward.
“Fang?” Huang Long asked.
The middle-aged man glanced at Huang Long and his companions warily, didn’t answer, and instead asked, “Who are you guys?!”
Huang Long and his companions exchanged glances.
Huoyang simply didn’t bother asking anymore. He directly seized the man, took control of his mind, and probed him about all his doubts. From this middle-aged man dressed as a hunter, Huang Long and his companions learned that this was a divine plane called Bulu, with both mortal kingdoms and divine realms inhabited by gods. Huang Long couldn’t help but recall the Five Elements Divine Plane where he had been trapped in the Netherworld. This Bulu Divine Plane was very similar to that one—both had gods and mortals living together. However, in the Five Elements Space, the divine powerhouses lived on sacred mountains, while here, the gods resided in what was called a divine realm. After Huoyang finished asking, the middle-aged man regained his consciousness. As he looked at Huang Long and his companions and was about to speak again, they vanished right before his eyes. Seeing this, the man was so terrified that his legs gave out, and he knelt down, repeatedly bowing and saying, “I had no idea the supreme god had arrived…” A “supreme god” was how mortals in all mortal kingdoms referred to these divine powerhouses, whether they were lower-tier gods, mid-tier gods, or upper-tier gods! After leaving, Huang Long and his companions headed straight for the divine realm mentioned by the middle-aged man. Before long, they arrived over the sea at the far eastern edge of this Bulu Divine Plane. This Bulu Divine Plane consisted of the Bulu Continent and the Outer Seas. The Bulu Continent was inhabited by mortals, while the Outer Seas were the dwelling places of divine powerhouses, also known as divine realms or seas of divine realms. Now, Huang Long and his companions were above these seas of divine realms. From what the hunter-dressed middle-aged man had said, they had initially determined that this place wasn’t some kind of grand array. But even though it wasn’t an array, they still needed to find a way out; otherwise, no matter how powerful they were, they would be trapped here. Earlier, Huang Long and his companions tried to break through space to leave, but they were restrained by some unknown force and unable to do so. Thus, their plan to break through space to escape was unworkable. Huang Long extended his divine sense, and along with Livia and Huoyang, they arrived at an island. In a flash, they landed in a palace garden on the island. In the distance of the garden, a blond young man was walking slowly, followed by several upper-tier gods. No one noticed the arrival of Huang Long and his companions; the blond young man and the gods continued walking as usual. From Huang Long’s earlier scan with his divine sense, this blond young man was one of the four strongest people in this divine realm—a supreme god at the highest level. Like the Five Elements Divine Plane, this Bulu Divine Plane also had no supreme god powerhouse.
“Lord Haley, that Lanko is becoming more and more arrogant. Recently, he’s gotten very close to Dok, even daring to ignore Lord Haley’s orders!” one of the higher gods said respectfully to the blond young man.
“Yes, Lord Haley. In my opinion, we must not spare Lanko at all!” another higher god added.
The blond young man raised his hand to stop his subordinates from speaking further. Suddenly, he looked up sharply into the distance. The higher gods noticed his strange behavior and also looked over. At that sight, they were shocked—how had these two men and one woman entered the Southern King’s Palace?!
“Dare you! Who are you? How dare you!” One of the higher gods was about to step forward and scold them when his voice suddenly stopped. The blond young man and his companions turned around, their eyes wide open—as the higher god collapsed, his eyes glazed over, and he was no longer breathing.
With a thud, the sound of the higher god falling shocked the blond young man and his companions. Their expressions shifted from shock to horror.
They had no idea how the other party had attacked. They knew the strength of their companion well—killing him silently was something even the Four Great Kings couldn’t do.
When had such a powerful person appeared?!
In fact, it was Huoyang who had acted. As a Divine King, Huoyang certainly wouldn’t allow a mere higher god to scold him.
The three Huanglongs slowly walked over.
When the three Huanglongs arrived, the blond young man and his companions regained consciousness, their eyes filled with terror, including the blond young man of Haley’s faction.
“Your Excellencies, I don’t know who you are…” The blond young man stepped back a few steps and asked in alarm.
He sensed a terrifying pressure from the three Huanglongs—it was the pressure of a superior over a subordinate!
Superiors?!
Although he didn’t know where the three Huanglongs came from, he knew each of them was stronger than him!
“We came from outside. We’re here to ask you something—how to get out of this Bulu Space!” Huanglong said without hiding anything.
After hearing Huanglong’s words, the blond young man and his companions stared at them in disbelief—coming from outside?!
After a while, the blond young man realized what was happening and quickly said respectfully, “To the best of my knowledge, there is a way. All we need to do is find the key to open the Heavenly Palace Gate!” Sweat beaded on his forehead as he spoke.
As per the ancient records, above the ultimate masters of Perfection is the Supreme God! Yet, in the Bulu Realm, only these four kings have always been the strongest, so he never believed there could be any other Supreme God-like beings. Now it seems what the ancients said wasn’t false?! Are those three the so-called Supreme God-like beings?!
The other higher gods stood nervously behind the blond young man, heads bowed, too afraid to speak.
“The key to open the Heavenly Palace Gate?!” The three Yellow Dragons exchanged glances.
“Yes,” replied the blond young man respectfully.
“Go on!” Huoyang looked at him.
The blond young man hurriedly said, “The key to the Heavenly Palace Gate is on an island at the center of the Divine Realm. However, that island is under a powerful array restriction, so no one has been able to enter it. I learned all this from the ancient records in the Bulu Divine Plane.”
“An island at the center of the Divine Realm, with a powerful array restriction,” murmured the Yellow Dragons.
“Take us there now!” said Huoyang.
“Yes, my lords!” said the blond young man. Just as he was about to take off and lead the way, Huoyang casually reached out in the void and pulled him forward, saying, “No need for all that trouble. We’ll take you there; you just point the way!” With that, he vanished in a flash. It seemed Huoyang found the young man’s flying speed too slow and decided to carry him instead.
After the three Yellow Dragons disappeared, the higher gods stood there in shock. Just moments ago, Huoyang had snatched their King Nan right in front of them without him being able to resist at all. Recalling what had happened, they shuddered.
“King Nan… he should be fine, right?!” asked one of the higher gods.
“I suppose so!” replied another, glancing at the body of their companion not far away.
After the three Yellow Dragons left, they followed the blond young man’s directions and arrived above an island.
The island was neither too large nor too small, about a few hundred li in circumference, floating on the sea surface, surrounded by a thick layer of white mist that made it impossible to see clearly what was on the island.
“Is this the island?!” Huoyang asked, holding the blond young man.
The blond young man was already pale with fear. Only now was he truly realizing the power of these so-called “Supreme God” beings.
“Yes, my lord!” he replied in a trembling voice.
“Are you very afraid of me?” Huoyang stared at him coldly.
The blond young man trembled and shook his head violently.
Huoyang snorted coldly, used the Domain of Heaven and Earth to confine the other party aside, and said, “If you can’t find that key later and dare to deceive us, you should know the consequences!”
