Chapter 0656: Not a Saint Realm Stronger

Yuan Han, who had originally looked fierce with eyes filled with murderous intent, suddenly stopped in his tracks upon seeing what was before him. His fierce expression vanished, replaced by utter terror.
“You, you?!” Yuan Han screamed in shock, staring at Huang Long in disbelief.
What did spatial collapse even mean?!
Only those in the Divine Realm could do such a thing!
“That’s right—this person isn’t from the Saint Realm; they’re a Divine Realm stronger!” This shocking thought flashed through Yuan Han’s mind. Before he could react further, the collapsing space reached him, and the force generated by it sent him flying.
He was flung away like a dead dog, his screams echoing throughout the surroundings.
Yuan Han was thrown hundreds of miles before crashing down, crushing countless walls of the academy and cracking the ground around him.
The students and the 300 members of the elite enforcement team stared blankly at Huang Long before turning stiffly toward Yuan Han—the place where their vice-dean, that Saint Realm powerhouse, had crashed!
Panna stood among the crowd, her once dazzling eyes now filled only with horror. She stared in shock at the figure standing high in the air.
Was this the man she had thought was just a fancy talker who tried to get close to her, pretending not to know her in order to flatter her?!
“The Divine Realm… a Divine Realm stronger!” Panna murmured in a daze.
A Divine Realm stronger—a being so powerful that even her father revereled them like gods! The true peak warriors of the Hengyuan Realm!
Earlier, in the library, she had even advised him to focus on mastering magic and combat skills, calling him a man with nothing but appearance!
Suddenly, Panna broke into cold sweat and began to tremble. If he had blamed her before, even her family might have suffered! She had thought he had let her go out of concern for her status, but now it seemed he was too lazy or disdainful to even kill her as a Divine Realm stronger!
After crashing to the ground, Yuan Han remained motionless. His life force had been lost the moment he fell, and his body landed right in front of the academy’s main gate. The guards guarding the gate were terrified, not knowing what had happened.
Originally, Huang Long had given them a chance out of respect for the Divine Wind Academy, but unfortunately, they hadn’t valued it!
That was how people usually were!
Huang Long glanced at the crowd once more before ignoring them and flying back to the library. After some thought, he summoned a high-ranking divine mutated beast from the Qunxian Pavilion.

This superior divine mutant beast was Xil, the two-headed demon tiger that Huang Long had tamed in the ancient forests of the Nimen Mountains in the netherworld. It had once been one of Brade’s subordinates. When Xil appeared, it quickly bowed respectfully to Huang Long and said, “Xil pays its respects to its master!” Huang Long nodded, then ordered it to wait outside before entering the library. The people in the academy were shocked to see a two-headed tiger appear out of thin air high in the sky. “Is this a sacred realm magical beast?!” someone exclaimed. Since Xil retained its true form, did not transform into a human shape, could stand in the air, and speak human language, everyone mistook it for a sacred realm magical beast. In the Hengyuan realm, it was generally believed that divine realm magical beasts could transform into human forms. …… In the Divine Wind Academy’s board meeting hall, Ouyang Ming sat in the middle of the hall, frowning. “Why hasn’t Yuan Han returned yet? It’s been over an hour already. Under normal circumstances, he should have returned by now. For some reason, Ouyang Ming felt uneasy. Chang Hai spoke up, “Dean, maybe he was delayed by other matters along the way. Vice Dean Yuan Han is skilled; nothing bad will happen. The other party can’t escape!” The other two vice deans and the board members also spoke, their tones identical to Chang Hai’s, saying that the dark-haired young man couldn’t possibly escape Yuan Han’s grasp. Only then did Ouyang Ming gradually feel relieved. He shook his head inwardly with a smile, thinking he had overthought things—someone at the initial stage of the sacred realm surely couldn’t escape Yuan Han. Just then, suddenly, the door was pushed open, and Fei Hou, the head of the teaching department, rushed in in a panicked state, looking disheveled and stumbling. Everyone turned to look at him and was stunned by his appearance. “Fei Hou, what’s going on? Where is Vice Dean Yuan Han? Didn’t he bring that young man back with him?” Ouyang Ming asked, frowning. “Dean, sir!” Fei Hou seemed to find solace in seeing Ouyang Ming and calmed down somewhat, but his voice still trembled and was slurred as he spoke. The others grew even more puzzled. “What’s going on?!” Ouyang Ming demanded angrily, his gaze sharp. “Dean, Vice Dean Yuan Han… he’s… he’s dead!” Under Ouyang Ming’s fierce gaze, Fei Hou blurted out the words, his face contorted as if he were about to cry, trembling uncontrollably as if he had thought of something terrifying.

“What?!” Ouyang Ming, Chang Hai, and the others all paled drastically, shouting in shock at the same time. Immediately, they leaped off their mounts as if burned, with the seats flying backward.
Vice Dean Yuan Han was dead!
Ouyang Ming and the others stared at Fei Hou with terrified expressions, their auras surging violently. Even Fei Hou, a peak-level ninth-grade warrior, couldn’t help but wobble on his feet in the face of these dozen or so Saint Domain experts.
“Speak!” Ouyang Ming regained his composure, suppressing his aura as he glared at Fei Hou.
Fei Hou didn’t dare to stall this time. With a crying face, he hurriedly said, “It was… it was that young man who killed him!”
“That young man?!” Ouyang Ming and the others’ expressions changed again. Yuan Han was a peak-level Saint Domain expert, yet someone had killed him. Could it be…? A possibility flashed through their minds.
“A Divine Domain expert!” They exclaimed in unison.
Only a Divine Domain expert could have killed Yuan Han!
But hadn’t it been said before that the opponent was just a young man in his twenties? How could he suddenly turn into a Divine Domain expert?!
Ouyang Ming’s eyes flashed with cold fury. With a single wave of his hand, Fei Hou flew backward like a kite with its string cut.
“You idiot!” Ouyang Ming roared in anger.
If not for Fei Hou, the head of the training department, giving incorrect information and mistaking the opponent for a Saint Domain expert in his twenties, they wouldn’t have sent Yuan Han to capture him, and this outcome wouldn’t have happened.
A Divine Domain expert… Even if Divine Wind Academy claimed to be strong, they wouldn’t dare to underestimate or offend such a being lightly!
But now, not only had they offended them, they had also provoked their murderous intent.
“Dean, what should we do now?!” Chang Hai spoke up. The opponent was a Divine Domain expert, even if only at an early stage. They weren’t capable of dealing with him. Even if all of them attacked together, it was likely not enough to match him, unless they all reached the peak of the Saint Domain.
Should they go and grovel and apologize?!
If the opponent broke into Divine Wind Academy and killed one of its vice deans, and the academy still went to apologize to him—even if it was because he was a Divine Domain expert—the reputation of Divine Wind Academy would plummet once this became known!
Moreover, even if they groveled and apologized, the opponent might not accept it.
Ouyang Ming’s expression shifted unpredictably before he slowly said, “Go to the back mountain!”
“The back mountain?!” Chang Hai and the others were shocked.
Ouyang Ming nodded, slowly but firmly.
Chang Hai and the others exchanged glances before falling silent, the atmosphere becoming strange.

After a while, Ouyang Ming and a dozen others soared up from the conference hall and flew toward the back mountain of the Shinfū Academy’s inner courtyard. The back mountain had always been a forbidden area of the academy. Students from both the inner and outer courtyards turned pale whenever the topic came up. Although no one knew why the academy had designated it as a forbidden zone, there was a legend that a terrifying monster lived there.

After arriving at the back mountain, Ouyang Ming and the others slowed down their flight speed, all of them looking extremely cautious. They continued flying like this for half an hour until they reached an unremarkable peak deep in the mountain. They landed there and stood respectfully.

“Lord Sande, Ouyang Ming and the others have come to pay their respects!” Ouyang Ming said respectfully. At these words, everyone bowed slightly and lowered their heads.

After Ouyang Ming spoke, an eerie silence fell over the area. Ouyang Ming and the others did not speak again and simply stood there, maintaining their posture. The air was not hot, but sweat began to appear on their foreheads.

“What is it?” After a long while, a cold voice rang out, echoing among the surrounding peaks. It was impossible to tell where the voice came from.

Ouyang Ming did not dare to delay and quickly explained the situation.

“Oh, Yuan Han is dead?” When Ouyang Ming mentioned that Yuan Han had been killed, the voice spoke again, with a hint of surprise, followed by a sneer: “Good riddance!”

Ouyang Ming and the others looked troubled but did not dare say much.

“Do you want me to intervene?” The voice spoke again after a while.

“Yes, Lord Sande!” Ouyang Ming replied promptly. Just as his voice faded, the space suddenly trembled, and a figure enveloped in black mist stepped forward.

The black mist made it hard to see clearly, but it was evident that the person inside was a very tall middle-aged man with a small black horn on his forehead. The sudden appearance of the middle-aged man shocked Ouyang Ming and the others, who stepped back.

“What? Am I that scary?” the middle-aged man asked in a sarcastic tone.

“No, not at all!” Ouyang Ming quickly defended him.

The middle-aged man stared at Ouyang Ming and sneered several times, making Ouyang Ming feel uneasy.

“Since the opponent is a powerful being from the Divine Realm, and I have an agreement with your academy before, I’ll intervene once!” the middle-aged man said.

Ouyang Ming and the others were stunned, then their faces lit up with joy as they expressed their gratitude.

“Let’s go!” The middle-aged man soared into the air and headed toward the academy’s library. He became interested in the dark-haired young man mentioned by Ouyang Ming. If possible, devouring him might help him improve his strength!

“That old bastard from the God of War Sect, one day, I will avenge what happened back then!”
