Chapter 0621: The Fate of the Traitors

“Elder Tely, there’s no need to worry. Elders Boris and the others should be back soon,” said one of the Keithel clan’s elders upon hearing this.
Tely nodded. Though somewhat puzzled, he didn’t take it too seriously. He was well aware of Boris’s strength.
“Hehe, the real show is about to begin!” Tely turned to look at Eldreihai and James, who were facing off.
“James, how dare you!” A roar from Eldreihai echoed above Remond City, followed by a deafening explosion.
Eldreihai, wielding his divine artifact, glared at James.
Just moments ago, James had tried to take advantage of the situation to break the spell barrier of Remond City!
Now, with the spell barrier in place and Tely and the others watching, it wouldn’t be easy for the Keithel clan to capture Remond City. If the barrier were removed, the fate of Remond City without its protection was obvious.
Then, the Keithel clan would face devastating destruction!
“Eldreihai, if you want to die, we don’t want to die with you!” Seeing his plans exposed, James wasn’t ashamed or angry but instead sneered. Turning to the dozen or so Remond City elders standing behind him, he said, “Gentlemen, if not now, then when?”
The elders hesitated for a moment, then exchanged glances before flying toward the center of the formation.
Eldreihai’s expression darkened as uncontrollable anger surged within him.
These elders clearly shared James’s intent—to reach the center and break the spell barrier!
“You ungrateful dogs!” Eldreihai roared, then ordered the elders behind him, “Capture them all and punish them as traitors!” With that, he charged at James with his sword.
“Yes, Elder Eldreihai!” The elders replied respectfully, drawing their divine artifacts and attacking the traitorous elders in fury.
Soon, fierce battles erupted in the skies above Remond City.
The Remond City clan’s members stared in shock at the battles above, panicked and unsure of what to do.
“Talf, how dare you betray your clan!” After a while, a middle-aged man with black hair pointed at the silver-haired elder across from him.
This man was Gehai, Eldreihai’s son, while the silver-haired elder was Talf, James’s son.
“We betrayed our clan? It’s you who ignore the fate of the entire clan—that’s true betrayal!” Talf sneered in return. As soon as he spoke, he leaped into the air and attacked Gehai.

As Gehai fought against Talf, more and more members of the Raymond family became involved. Gradually, the fierce battles spread to every corner of Raymond City. The elders and family members who wanted to end the conflict were powerless and could only watch helplessly as everything unfolded.

Terry watched the scene and burst into loud laughter, delighted that everything was going as he had planned. “Elder Terry, shall we launch an attack now to break through Raymond City’s barriers?” asked an elder from the Kithel family.

“Good!” Terry pondered for a moment, a cold glint in his eyes. “Attack!”

Attack! As soon as Terry gave the order, over thirty elders from the Kithel family soared into the air and launched attacks on Raymond City. Instantly, terrifying sword dragons and fire snakes descended from the sky.

With a loud roar, the barriers above Raymond City flickered and dimmed.

Eldhai and the others paled at the sight.

“Haha, Eldhai, we haven’t decided a winner yet. Why rush to leave?” Jeaming sneered as he saw Eldhai trying to retreat to protect the main formation. “Take my strike!” With that, he threw a punch, and destructive lightning powers rushed toward Eldhai.

Eldhai had no choice but to counterattack. Held back by Jeaming, he and the others couldn’t protect the formation and could only watch it weaken under the attacks of the Kithel family elders. If this continued, the formation would be broken in no time!

The more anxious and angry Eldhai became, the more intense and fierce Jeaming’s attacks became, leaving no chance for Eldhai to escape or rescue anyone.

Suddenly, a clear cracking sound rang out in the ears of the billions of Raymond family members. They turned in shock and saw that the barriers protecting Raymond City had shattered. Cracks spread like spider webs in all directions, eventually covering every corner of the formation before drifting away like dust.

When the formation was broken, Eldhai and the others turned deathly pale.

Originally, he thought that even without their protection, it wouldn’t be easy for the Kithel family elders to break through the formation. But now! Someone must have revealed the method to break the barriers to the Kithel family; otherwise, it wouldn’t have been undone so easily!

“It’s you who revealed the method to break the barriers to the Kithel family!” Eldhai turned to glare at Jeaming.

Jeaming chuckled coldly without denying it. Though he didn’t say it outright, he undoubtedly admitted it.

Eldhai was seething with rage, wishing he could tear him apart to vent his fury. The defensive formation broke, and with a wave of his hand, the army of the Kithar family surged toward Remond City like a tide. Seeing this, James struck with all his might, forcing the mad Eldhai to retreat, then turned to face the advancing Kithar forces. “Lord Tely!” James rushed to Tely’s side, bowed, and spoke flatteringly. Tely glanced at James, nodded, and smiled, saying, “You’ve done well. Rest assured, we’ll give you what we promised!” A cold glint flashed deep in his eyes. Hearing this, James’s face lit up with joy as he said, “It’s what James should do. Please speak well of me to Ancestor Eirli later!” But just as he finished speaking, he suddenly felt an overwhelming force surge from his chest. In shock, he tried to counterattack but was blasted by that force and sent flying. Along with James, over a dozen others were thrown backward—those elders of the Remond family who had joined the Kithar family alongside him. James and those elders crashed to the ground, producing a dull thud as dust flew up. “You… why?!” James struggled to sit up, glaring angrily at Tely who had attacked him. With a gurgle, blood sprayed from his mouth. The attack came suddenly and up close, catching him off guard. Tely’s strike dealt him severe damage; if not for his strong abilities, that blow would likely have killed him. The other elders of the Remond family also glared angrily at Tely. Eldhai and the others were stunned by the sudden turn of events. “Why?” Tely sneered, “Do you really think our Kithar family would give you some supreme divine artifact?! In our eyes, you’re nothing but a dog!” Just a dog! A dog to be slaughtered once used! Tely’s words echoed around them. James and the elders of the Remond family were furious, their blood boiling once again. “You despicable scoundrels!” Tely’s voice was hoarse, his eyes blood-red. With a roar, he launched himself at Tely, his lightning-based divine power surging, causing space to tremble. “Overestimating yourself!” Seeing this, Tely’s cold smile widened, his eyes flashing with killing intent as golden light shone around him before he vanished in an instant. A loud explosion echoed, and James was sent flying even faster, crashing to the ground like a dead dog, covered in blood, with cracks spreading across the ground around him. Silence reigned everywhere.

Everyone watched the scene with complex expressions. Eldhair and the others looked at James, who lay there like a dead dog, groaning weakly. Instead of feeling anger, they felt satisfaction, with gleeful looks in their eyes as they sneered, “Serves him right!” Indeed, it served him right—for Eldhair and the others, this was even more satisfying than killing him themselves. Teli glanced at James, who still glared at him in hatred, and sneered, “Don’t worry. After you die, we’ll keep our promise and help you kill Eldhair!” With that, he swung his palm. A beam of golden light struck James, causing an explosive sound. Unable to dodge, James’s body shattered, and under the terrified eyes of the dozen or so Remond family elders who had joined the Kithel family, he turned into a mass of flesh and blood, falling from the sky. James ultimately died at Teli’s hands. Perhaps, when he chose to betray the Remond family, he never imagined such an outcome. Seeing James die, Eldhair’s face twisted in hatred. After all, they were Remond family elders, and their death at the hands of the Kithel family was also a disgrace to the Remond family. Just as Teli and the others were about to strike down those traitorous elders, Eldhair and the others intervened. With a loud crash, Teli and Eldhair stepped back. “Hehe, Eldhair, these people betrayed your Remond family and became dogs of our Kithel family. Do you still want to save these dogs?!” Teli looked at Eldhair, surprised at first, then sneered. “They are members of our Remond family. How we deal with them is our business—none of your concern!” Eldhair’s gaze was cold. “Good. Anyway, since the restriction array has been broken, these people no longer matter to us!” Teli said, then narrowed his eyes and waved his hands. “Kill them!” Instantly, the sound of slaughter filled the air as the Kithel family’s army rushed at the Remond family’s members. After speaking, Teli also attacked Eldhair. “Today, I’ll make sure you and your Remond family disappear forever!” With one strike, Teli sent Eldhair flying back. In terms of strength, Teli, who was at the peak of dominance, was slightly stronger than Eldhair. Killing Eldhair wasn’t an exaggeration. Moreover, with all the strong members of the Kithel family present, it wasn’t difficult to destroy the Remond family, which had no supreme deity to protect it.
