Chapter 0580: Discovering the Head of the Chaos Divine Dragon

The Yellow Dragon secretly arrived at the Phoenix Golden Hall and approached cautiously.
“That old bastard Opot really has aged—allowing this Yellow Dragon to kill the head of the guards on Tianlong Mountain and even let it escape!” A silver-haired young man laughed sneerily in the Phoenix Golden Hall, his words laced with mockery. “It’s a shame for both our Phoenix and Dragon Mountains!”
Phoenix Golden Mountain and Tianlong Mountain were sometimes collectively referred to as the Two Phoenix and Dragon Mountains.
In the grand hall, the elders of Phoenix Golden Mountain and the hall master all dared not speak. The Yellow Dragon noticed that Wifley, whom it had met in the Land of Divine Desolation, was among them.
“Still, this Yellow Dragon does have some skills—being able to escape from Tianlong Mountain as a mere minor ruler.” The silver-haired young man nodded. “Not bad, not bad! If I get the chance, I’d like to meet this Yellow Dragon.”
The Yellow Dragon realized that this silver-haired young man must be King Leo of Phoenix Golden Mountain.
In the grand hall, Wifley opened his mouth as if to speak but ultimately said nothing.
“Wifley, if you have something to say, go ahead,” Leo said calmly.
Only then did Wifley muster the courage to step forward and say respectfully, “Your Majesty, King Leo, during their search for the second Map of the Mysterious Yellow River, Hilly, Twod, and the others had their primary divine entities trapped by some kind of restriction that sealed their divine powers!”
“The restriction trapped their divine powers?!” Leo frowned.
If Wifley said so, it meant even Wifley couldn’t lift it? He had just returned from the Torre Continent and was unaware of this matter.
“Which elder from Tianlong Mountain placed this restriction?” Leo asked. In his opinion, only a supreme divine powerhouse could leave Wifley helpless.
Which elder from Tianlong Mountain?
In the grand hall, the elders of Phoenix Golden Mountain and the hall master wore strange expressions. Though King Leo didn’t know, they did.
“It should be… that Yellow Dragon!” Wifley hesitated.
Since Wifley wasn’t sure about Hilly, Twod, and the others’ divine entities being restricted, he could only say it might be.
“It’s the Yellow Dragon?!” Leo smiled immediately. “This Yellow Dragon seems to be involved in everything.” Then he asked Wifley, “What exactly happened?”
Wifley didn’t dare hide anything and respectfully recounted everything. After finishing, he stood aside respectfully.
Silence filled the grand hall.
“Where are Hilly and the others?” Leo asked calmly.
Seeing that King Leo wasn’t angry, Wifley felt relieved and quickly ordered someone to bring Hilly and the others into the hall.

Leo glanced at the four of Hili, who still lay unconscious in the hall. With a swift movement, he arrived beside them and began to examine them. As he did so, his expression shifted from indifference to growing concern.
“What a peculiar type of restriction!” After a while, Leo raised his head and sighed.
Wifley and the others exchanged looks. A peculiar type of restriction?! Even the Divine King said so—so it must be true?! After so many years, it was the first time they had heard the Divine King speak so seriously about a restriction.
However, Wifley and the others did not dare interrupt.
At that moment, mysterious patterns on Leo’s forehead emitted strange lights, which then entered the minds of the four of Hili.
For some reason, seeing the Divine King’s solemn expression, Wifley and the others felt inexplicably nervous. A restriction placed by a mere minor overlord could make Lord Leo act so cautiously as if facing a great threat?!
This continued for over ten minutes. The strange lights from Leo’s forehead grew brighter, leaving Wifley and the others in shock.
Finally, after half an hour, Leo withdrew those lights from his forehead. Then, the four of Hili slowly regained consciousness.
Seeing them wake up, Leo breathed a sigh of relief. If even he couldn’t break such a restriction, Fengjin Mountain would lose face greatly!
Yet even so, Fengjin Mountain would still suffer a huge loss of face!
Leo’s expression turned grim.
“Thank you, Divine King! Thank you!” Reminded by Wifley, the four of Hili realized it was Divine King Leo who had saved them. They thanked him eagerly, even to the point of tears.
“Get up,” Leo said in a deep voice.
“Yes, Divine King!” The four of Hili quickly replied respectfully before stepping aside.
“Tell me, who did this?” Leo asked.
The four of Hili did not dare hide anything and quickly recounted what had happened. Hearing that it was indeed a restriction placed by the Yellow Dragon, everyone grew solemn.
A restriction from a mere minor overlord could be so powerful!
“This Yellow Dragon is no ordinary foe!” Leo said after a while.
Realizing the tense atmosphere, the four of Hili also put aside their excitement and joy. Standing there, they recalled everything the Yellow Dragon had done, and inexplicably, a sense of chill crept into their hearts.
“What do you all think of this Yellow Dragon?” Leo asked in a deep voice.
“Divine King, I think we can’t keep this Yellow Dragon around!” said an obese old man beside Wifley. This old man was Rodney, the second elder of Fengjin Mountain, and Hili was his grandson.

Can’t keep it?! So that means issuing a siege order just like Tianlong Mountain?! Leo frowned.
“I think if we can subdue this Yellow Dragon and use it for Fengjin Mountain, perhaps we’ll gain another powerhouse on par with a Supreme God!” said a middle-aged man beside Rodney—this man was Xidini, the eldest elder of Fengjin Mountain.
“Heh, Xidini, aren’t you exaggerating? Though this Yellow Dragon has powerful restrictions, a mere ruler is still just a ruler. How could such a small ruler even be compared to us? How ridiculous!” Rodney sneered.
“Compared? Your grandson is trapped under those restrictions. Why don’t you help him instead of troubling Lord Leo?” Xidini retorted.
“Enough!” Leo interrupted firmly, glancing at the two of them.
Xidini and Rodney had always been at odds, but upon hearing Leo speak, they dared not continue.
“Wifley, what do you think?” Leo turned to ask.
Wifley pondered for a moment before replying, “Your Majesty, if we can subdue this Yellow Dragon, it would indeed be beneficial for Fengjin Mountain. But it seems unlikely to be tamed so easily.”
Leo fell silent.
“Issue an order: whoever discovers the Yellow Dragon’s whereabouts will be rewarded with a Supreme Divine Artifact!” After a while, Leo finally issued an order similar to that of Tianlong Mountain. Since subduing it was difficult, the only option was destruction!
“Yes, Your Majesty!” Wifley and the others replied respectfully in the grand hall.
The Yellow Dragon remained hidden, secretly smiling to himself. It seemed he didn’t need to kill the head of Fengjin Mountain’s guard force after all.
After dismissing everyone, Leo sat in the Fengjin Hall and fell into deep thought. After a long while, he stood up and headed toward the inner chamber of the hall.
Once inside, Leo quickly performed several hand gestures. Soon, a mysterious teleportation array appeared in the center of the chamber. Stepping onto it, he vanished in a flash of light.
As soon as Leo disappeared, a figure flashed into the chamber—the Yellow Dragon. It looked at the spot where Leo had used the teleportation array, then turned and vanished in a streak of light. The Yellow Dragon sensed that Leo had hidden the teleportation array so mysteriously; perhaps it was related to the Dragon Head of the Chaos Dragon.
Through the teleportation array, Leo arrived in an alternate space deep within Fengjin Mountain.
This alternate space was quite unique—dark golden in color and small, covering only a few hundred square miles. In the center of the space stood a large altar, upon which rested a giant dragon head—a golden dragon with coral horns stretching hundreds of meters long!

The golden dragon lay sprawled on the altar, its eye sockets filled with two black voids—its eyes no longer visible—yet it exuded an endless aura of power, as if it could defy even the gods of heaven and earth. The yellow dragon felt an overwhelming dragonly might as soon as it entered this strange space, a force that nearly forced it to reveal its true form.

Looking up, the yellow dragon saw mysterious runes carved all around the altar, seemingly creating a mystical force that confined the dragon’s head within.

“Meng Lei, I never expected that after all these years since your death, you’d still be so unruly!” As Leo approached, faint dragon roars could be heard from the dragon’s head, and the spatial airflow became chaotic.

The yellow dragon was shocked. Meng Lei was dead, his soul long scattered—yet this dragon’s head still possessed such a powerful instinctive consciousness.

“Haha! But with the Hongmeng Parasitic Technique, I’ll soon master it. In another million years, once I’ve perfected it, I’ll be able to merge your dragon’s power with mine and become the greatest being beneath the Holy King!” Leo said, laughing excitedly at the end.

The “greatest being beneath the Holy King” actually meant the greatest being in the Chaos Divine Realm. Generally, Holy Kings did not manage the affairs of the Chaos Divine Realm.

Seemingly sensing Leo’s excitement, the golden light of the dragon’s head flashed, and the runes carved around the altar glowed, causing the restrictive space to surge violently.

“Hehe, it’s useless, Meng Lei. I know you’re unwilling to give up, but so what? Even when you were alive, you couldn’t defeat me. Now that you’re dead, does this dragon’s head really think it can escape my grasp? Better accept your fate!” Leo laughed heartily.

“Too bad there’s still the dragon’s body with its four claws, and its eyes are nowhere to be found!” Leo said regretfully after a while.

If he could fully merge Meng Lei’s entire Chaos Divine Dragon body, he might even break through the limits of the Supreme Divine King and reach an even higher status—Holy King! Of course, he also knew that becoming a Holy King wasn’t easy.

Leo flew above the altar and, glancing down at the still-restless dragon’s head, snorted coldly. He pressed his hands down forcefully, sending a powerful surge downward.

The Meng Lei dragon’s head immediately fell silent.

Afterward, Leo placed another layer of restrictions on the altar. Only after confirming everything was in order did he fly out of the strange space. From time to time, he would return to check on the Meng Lei dragon’s head.

It was a long time after Leo left before the yellow dragon slowly revealed its form. Once visible, it flew up above the altar.
