Chapter 0478: The Great Commander of the Red Demons

Huang Long also didn’t expect to encounter members of the Akro family here.
“Let’s go, we need to descend!” Huang Long said after a moment of hesitation.
Although there were only five or six thousand of these prison beasts, the Red Demons, those dozens of Akro family members were already on the verge of collapse, with the situation extremely precarious.
“Yes, young master!”
Huang Long and the others vanished in an instant and arrived below. Upon arrival, Huang Long spread his hands. Under the astonished gazes of the Akro family members, those five or six thousand Red Demons were as if caught by an invisible hand—their bodies froze, they roared furiously, flames erupted from their bodies, but they couldn’t break free from that invisible restraint.
Then, Huang Long pressed his hands together, and with a flash of light, those five or six thousand prison beasts trembled violently as if struck by lightning and all fell unconscious. With a thought, Huang Long brought them all into the Group of Immortals Pavilion.
The Akro family members were stunned.
Half of these Red Demon prison beasts possessed the strength of higher gods; otherwise, they wouldn’t have been trapped here. Yet, this dark-haired young man had dealt with them effortlessly.
The Akro family members examined Huang Long and the others closely.
“It seems… it seems to be Lord Huang Long?!”
“Lord Huang Long?!”
Many Akro family members had been present at the Ice Mirror Lake Weapon Refining Competition, so upon closer inspection, they recognized Huang Long, their faces filled with excitement and disbelief. After all, it was their first time being so close to him, and they found it hard to believe.
Just like in the Hengyuan Realm, although Huang Long had only been in hell for less than a hundred years, he had already become an object of worship among the various powerful families there.
“May I ask if you are indeed Lord Huang Long?” After a while, a blond young man stepped forward from the agitated group of Akro family members, approached Huang Long, and asked respectfully.
Huang Long nodded. “That’s right.”
With Huang Long’s confirmation, the Akro family members, who had been skeptical, became even more excited.
“It’s really Lord Huang Long! Baide thanks you greatly for saving us just now!” The blond young man also showed reverence and joy on his face.
Huang Long raised his hand. “No need to be polite.” Then he asked, “What happened just now?”
“Replying to Lord Huang Long, a few days ago, our Elder Bartley ordered us, his descendants abroad, to return to our family’s headquarters. As we were on our way there, we were trapped here by the Red Demons. If it weren’t for your arrival, Lord Huang Long, we would have…” The blond young man, Baide, stopped speaking—what happened next was obvious.
Huang Long nodded.

“Lord Yellow Dragon, may I ask where you are heading? Since we last parted at Ice Mirror Lake, our clan leader has often spoken of you, hoping to have the chance to catch up,” said Berd.
Yellow Dragon glanced at the blond young man, Berd.
Catch up? He had only met Donaxiu a few times; there was no real friendship between them—what could there be to talk about? Yellow Dragon could see clearly that this blond young man just wanted to follow him for safety on the way back to the clan’s headquarters.
“Alright, it’s been some time since I last saw your clan leader as well. Then let’s go,” said Yellow Dragon.
In that case, it wouldn’t hurt to do a favor for the Akro family. Besides, Yellow Dragon also wanted to learn more about the situation in the Colin Continent, and Donaxiu, as the head of the Akro family, knew it best.
Berd hadn’t expected Yellow Dragon to agree so readily to his casual request. The other members of the Akro family were overjoyed and thanked him respectfully before stepping forward to lead the way.
Thus, Yellow Dragon and the others followed Berd to the Akro family’s headquarters. Along the way, they encountered many Red Demon Prison Beasts, which Yellow Dragon captured and stored in the Immortal Pavilion one by one.
Watching Yellow Dragon capture these Red Demon Prison Beasts and store them in the Immortal Pavilion, Berd and the others felt awe.
A few days later, under Berd’s guidance, Yellow Dragon and the others arrived at the Akro family’s headquarters.
In the main hall of the Akro family’s headquarters, Donaxiu said with joy, “Haha, Brother Yellow Dragon! Since we last parted at Ice Mirror Lake, I’ve been looking forward to seeing you every day.”
Yellow Dragon knew these were polite words, so he replied with a smile as well. After the pleasantries, he asked about the situation in the Colin Continent.
Upon hearing Yellow Dragon’s question, Donaxiu’s smile vanished. Frowning, he shook his head and said, “The situation isn’t good. Two provinces in the Colin Continent have already been occupied by the Red Demons. I’m afraid Buji Province won’t be able to hold out much longer either.”
Yellow Dragon fell silent for a moment. In less than ten years, the Colin Continent had lost three provinces. If this trend continued, it wouldn’t take a hundred years before the entire continent was completely occupied by the Red Demons!
“If Buji Province falls, then our Akro family’s headquarters will likely have to be relocated temporarily!” Donaxiu looked worried. The Akro family’s headquarters, Akro Province, was close to Buji Province. After Buji Province came Akro Province. It seemed absurd that the Akro family, the leader of the Eight Great Hell Families, would be forced to relocate its headquarters due to prison beasts, but Donaxiu felt utterly helpless about it!

The Red Demons invaded the Colin Continent, and other prison beast races took advantage of the chaos. Thus, the god-tier powerhouses on the Colin Continent now had to face not just the Red Demons. The mere thought of their ability to resurrect through reincarnation made Donald Xiu’s head ache. “Yellow Dragon, this is all your fault. If you hadn’t stolen the Red Demons’ sacred relic, the Reincarnation Stone, they wouldn’t have become enraged and invaded the Colin Continent, resulting in the death of trillions of god-tier powerhouses!” At that moment, a voice rang out from the grand hall. Yellow Dragon looked over and saw that the speaker was the first person on the left side of the hall—a white-haired elder. He knew this man to be Klay, the sole supreme elder of the Akro family and another peerless upper god-tier powerhouse besides Donald Xiu. Yellow Dragon’s eyes narrowed. “So what do you suggest I do?” Klay sneered, “Return the Reincarnation Stone to the Red Demon leader, personally apologize to the Red Demons, ask for their forgiveness, and persuade them to retreat to Hell!” Silence fell over the grand hall. Donald Xiu frowned. Klay’s demands were excessive—apologize and ask for forgiveness? Not only was it impossible for Yellow Dragon to do so given his status, but even if he did, would that make them retreat to Hell?! That was utterly impossible! This was no longer just Yellow Dragon’s problem, and the Red Demons’ invasion of the Colin Continent couldn’t be entirely blamed on him. The Red Demons must have long intended to invade the Colin Continent again; otherwise, they wouldn’t have reacted so violently over a single Reincarnation Stone. After hearing Klay’s words, Bog and the others grew furious. “What if my young master refuses?!” Brad stared at Klay. “If he refuses… hehe.” Klay turned to Yellow Dragon, “I’m curious to see what skills you have to escape from the Red Demon leader.” A sense of menace filled the air. The atmosphere in the grand hall became tense. “Enough, Klay. Yellow Dragon saved Bard and the others. He is now a guest of our Akro family,” Donald Xiu said, breaking the deadlock. Bard was a descendant of Klay’s faction. Klay frowned, snorted coldly, and said nothing more. Realizing there was no point in staying and inviting further humiliation, Yellow Dragon bid farewell to everyone and Donald Xiu, leaving the Akro family. After leaving, he entered the Bugi Mansion. Once inside, whenever he encountered Red Demons along the way, Yellow Dragon summoned his army of mutated primal beasts, stunned them with soul attacks, and trapped them in the Immortals Pavilion.

Although it was rare to encounter large groups of Prison Beasts Red Demons, over time, after a month, the Yellow Dragon’s army of such beasts reached one million. The Yellow Dragon controlled each of these Red Demon Prison Beasts using the method of imprinting with his divine consciousness. However, after a month, the Yellow Dragon and his companions attracted the attention of the Red Demon race, and more and more of these beasts came to hunt them. Instead of being alarmed, the Yellow Dragon was pleased—this saved him the effort of searching for them. Two months later, his army of Red Demon Prison Beasts had surged to four million!

In a mountain range somewhere in the Buji Prefecture…

“What? Four million of our kin are gone?!” Edi, the leader of the Red Demons, exclaimed in shock at another Red Demon leader.

“Yes!” replied the other leader in a low voice.

“Have you figured out what happened?!” Edi’s eyes flashed. The Red Demon race possessed the ability to regenerate and revive, so they were rarely killed by human gods. From their invasion of the Colin Continent until now, not a million of them had died—yet now four million had vanished?!

“According to reports, two months ago, a group of human gods arrived, and these four million of our kin disappeared while fighting them,” the leader answered.

“Two months ago?! Could it be a group of peerless warriors?!” Edi was stunned, then shook his head—such a thing was impossible!

“We don’t know, because all those who fought those human gods have disappeared!” the leader added.

“Investigate. If you find any trace of those human gods, do not act rashly—report immediately!” Edi ordered firmly.

The leader agreed.

But before long, before any clues about those human gods could be found, Edi heard the news that the Yellow Dragon had arrived on the Colin Continent.

“The Yellow Dragon is on the Colin Continent?! Could it be?!” Upon hearing this, an idea flashed through Edi’s mind as he connected it to what the previous leader had reported.

The Yellow Dragon!

“Hmph, Yellow Dragon, I never thought you’d dare come to the Colin Continent!” Edi sneered. “Lord Sik feared you might hide in some other divine realm and be unfindable. This time, I’ll see how you escape!”

Lord Sik, the supreme leader of the Red Demons!

Edi reported this to Lord Sik.

“The Yellow Dragon is on the Colin Continent now?!” In the grand hall, Lord Sik stood up, his black eyes glowing like water, then vanished in a flash.

“Yellow Dragon, you stole the sacred relics of our Red Demon race, and now you dare come to the Colin Continent to plunder our people. I, Sik, swear to kill you to avenge my anger!” Lord Sik transformed into a red glow and disappeared into the sky.
