Chapter 0256: This Is Guanyuan
While Huang Long used the Heaven-Seeing Eye to observe the area around the Tongtian River, Long Yi and the others also regained their senses.
“Where is this? Shouldn’t we still be in Tianyun?” Sea God Apton asked uncertainly.
“Who knows? Whatever it is, at least we’ve gotten out of that Dark Star. This time, it’s thanks to Brother Huang Long; otherwise, we would have truly been trapped there until death,” said Simp from the Phoenix clan with emotion, then looked at Huang Long with gratitude in his eyes.
Long Yi and the others also expressed their gratitude.
At that moment, Huang Long retracted the Heaven-Seeing Eye and said with a smile, “From the Sea of Death to Tianyun, we’ve gone through hardships together. There’s no need for more formalities.”
“Let’s leave this place first. This seems to be a star domain, but whether it’s still Tianyun, I’m not sure,” Huang Long added.
Earlier, he had used the Heaven-Seeing Eye to survey the surroundings, and the presence of stars and nebulae indicated that they were indeed in a star domain.
After hearing Huang Long’s words, everyone nodded. Even staying another moment by that mountain bridge felt terrifying to them.
So, they all flew away from that place.
Since their magical powers had been restored, and they didn’t want to draw too much attention, Huang Long stored the Fire Cloud Beast King, the Sky Roc Beast, and other star beasts in the Group of Immortals Pavilion.
When they first left the mountain bridge, they were on a mountain peak. However, this mountain was far smaller compared to the Forbidden Magic Mountain—while the Forbidden Magic Mountain stretched for tens of thousands of miles and was thousands of feet high, this mountain was clearly ten times smaller.
So, soon, they descended from the mountain peak and arrived at its base. Standing there, Huang Long and the others glanced back at the mountain once more, then turned to determine their direction before taking off and flying northward.
Yet, after flying for half a day, they saw no signs of civilization—only endless deserts and barren lands.
“Could this be an uninhabited planet?” Long Yi wondered.
“It seems so,” said Sea God Apton, looking around and scanning the distance.
Huang Long pondered for a moment before saying, “Then let’s go check another planet.”
No one objected, so they all took off, breaking through the energy barrier and entering the vast starry sky, heading toward a nearby planet.
Perhaps because of the connection between this uninhabited planet, the mountain bridge, the Tongtian River, and the Dark Star, there were no other planets in the surrounding tens of millions of miles.
Ten days later, a planet finally appeared in the vast starry sky. It was pale blue, surrounded by nebulae, and looked serene and beautiful from afar.
When Huang Long and the others descended to this planet through the layer of astral energy, they felt a refreshing coolness in their bodies, similar to the coolness of summer, which was very comfortable.
“Such a strong water element!” exclaimed the Sea God Apton in amazement.
Previously, when they landed in Chiyen City, the capital of the Chiyen Star Region, the fire element was abundant, and here the intensity of the water element was no less than that of the fire element in Chiyen City.
“Could this be the capital of some other star region?” asked Long Yi.
Generally, only capitals of star regions could have such concentrated elements.
“Let’s first go to the city on this planet and ask around,” said Huang Long.
Everyone nodded.
It wasn’t long before Huang Long and the others arrived in a large city thousands of miles away.
This city was named Xingfeng City, the capital of this planet.
As they had guessed earlier, this Xingfeng Planet was part of a star region called the Xingfeng Star Region.
From what Huang Long and the others knew, none of the dozen or so star regions in the Tianyun Subdimensional Space was named the Xingfeng Star Region. After asking around, they finally confirmed that they were no longer in the Tianyun Subdimensional Space.
This was the Guanyuan Subdimensional Space!
Guanyuan was also a lower-level subdimensional space. Like Tianyun, it had a dozen or so star regions and was a subdimensional space surrounding the Tianyun Subdimensional Space.
Although it was surrounding Tianyun, the distance wasn’t close—much farther than the distance from the Hengyuan Plane to the Tianyun Subdimensional Space.
After realizing they were in the Guanyuan Subdimensional Space, Long Yi and the others exchanged glances, speechless. Huang Long frowned; this situation was also beyond his expectations.
He had thought they might still be in Tianyun, even if not in the Youwu Star Region, but instead, they ended up in Guanyuan!
This posed a serious problem.
If they wanted to return to Tianyun, it would likely take another four or five months.
“What should we do? Do we have to rush back to Tianyun from Guanyuan now?” asked Long Yi gloomily. Anyone in such a situation would feel upset.
“Brother Huang Long, what do you think?” asked Xin Pu from the Phoenix Clan, turning to Huang Long.
Everyone looked at Huang Long.
“The matter with the Blue Whale Temple has taken so long; a few more days don’t matter. We’ve just come out of the Dark Stars, so let’s stay in Xingfeng City for a few days, prepare, and then head back to Tianyun,” said Huang Long after some thought.
After hearing this, Long Yi and the others nodded. It was the only option for now.
So, Huang Long and the others rented a courtyard in a restaurant in Xingfeng City and stayed there.
During their few days in Xingfeng City, besides resting to recover, Huang Long and his companions spent time learning about the Guanyuan dimension space, gaining some understanding of it as well. In Tianyun, there are three major star regions: Chiyen, Youwu, and Liuli. In Guanyuan, there are four such regions, and the Xingfeng Star Region where they currently were was one of them. Besides Xingfeng, there were also Wanan, Jingyu, and Jianghai Star Regions. Naturally, during these five days, Huang Long and the others purchased a star map of Guanyuan. Although they wouldn’t stay in Guanyuan for long, the star map was still essential. With it, their journey in Guanyuan would be much easier. Fortunately, Xingfeng City was the capital of the Xingfeng domain, so they didn’t need to go to other planets. After paying with a divine stone at a shop in a divine realm, they quickly obtained the star map. Five days later, Huang Long and his companions left Xingfeng City and broke through theQi layer layer to fly into the vast starry sky. They were now heading to the Wanan Star Region, and from there, they would enter the spatial turbulence—the shortest route to Tianyun. A month later, as Huang Long and his group were about to leave the Xingfeng Star Region and enter Wanan, suddenly, Huang Long stopped. The others were puzzled. At that moment, several powerful auras appeared—three in front and one behind—flying toward them. It seemed the person in front was being chased by the three behind. “Is that the woman who was chased by the Liuli Domain’s forces last time?” Gradually, as Long Yi and the others recognized the woman flying ahead, they blurted out. The woman in front was none other than Lin Mengxing, the one they had met in the Youwu Star Region of the Tianyun dimension space. Back then, she had been pursued by Brady and the others from the Liuli Domain. It hadn’t been long since then, and since she was also an outsider from another domain, just like them, Long Yi and the others still remembered her well. What surprised them, however, was encountering her in Guanyuan again, and they hadn’t expected her to still be being chased. The expressions on Long Yi and the others’ faces became strange. Huang Long was also surprised—could this woman be from Guanyuan? Clearly, she saw people on Huang Long’s side as well. Without hesitation, she accelerated her escape toward them, just like before. Seeing this, Huang Long smiled inwardly—true fate indeed.
As they got closer, the woman was stunned when she saw Huang Long and his companions’ faces; clearly, she hadn’t expected it to be them. It was evident that she still remembered them. In fact, during the last incident, Huang Long’s formidable strength in driving away the people from the Liuli Domain Palace had left a deep impression on her. Of course, she still believed that it was Huang Long who had driven away Brady and the others back then.
“It’s you!” she exclaimed in surprise after recognizing Huang Long and his group.
Though they had only met twice, Huang Long and his companions could be considered old acquaintances. After expressing her surprise, she hid behind them without waiting for them to speak, then said, “Brothers and sister, it’s so great to see you!” If outsiders didn’t know the truth, they might think Huang Long and his companions were her own brothers and sister.
Long Yi and the others frowned. Huang Long secretly shook his head, mocking himself—“So great?” This wasn’t good at all. He could clearly tell that the three people behind her were no ordinary folks.
When those three saw her hide behind Huang Long and his group, they stopped in their tracks and stood in the starry sky several miles away, watching them. They exchanged glances, with the middle one hesitating for a moment before bowing and saying, “Friends, we’re from the Wanyue Domain Palace. This woman stole something from our palace. We need to capture her and take her back. Please don’t interfere!”
Huang Long and his companions all looked puzzled. Stealing again?! Last time, the Liuli Domain Palace had pursued her, claiming she had stolen from them as well. Long Yi and the others even glanced at her several times.
After hearing those words and seeing the strange looks on Huang Long and his companions’ faces, her pretty face turned red. In panic, she pointed at the middle-aged man and said, “Kenneth, you’re shameless! When have I ever stolen anything from your palace?” Then she turned to Huang Long and his group, urgently explaining, “Brothers and sister, please don’t believe them!”
Huang Long couldn’t help but laugh inwardly. With his telepathic abilities, he knew that this woman named Bailei was telling the truth—she hadn’t stolen anything from the Wanyue Domain Palace. But now he was curious about what exactly about her made the Liuli Domain Palace of Tianyun and the Wanyue Domain Palace of Guanyuan pursue her relentlessly.
“Friends, do you really intend to interfere?” The middle-aged man’s face darkened as he saw that Huang Long and his group remained indifferent even after hearing the name of their Wanyue Domain Palace.
Huang Long’s eyes flashed with cold light. Since this had happened, he knew he could not stand by idly.
“Oh, and so what?” Huang Long said indifferently.
