Chapter 0190: They Are All Good People!
White Mist Island was no smaller than Tian Peng Island; in fact, it was even a bit larger.
White Mist Mansion was located on the south side of White Mist Island, by a large lake. A faint layer of white mist rose from the lake, making White Mist Mansion appear hazy in the distance, giving it the feel of an immortal palace in the heavens.
At that moment, in a courtyard to the east of White Mist Mansion, a beautiful noblewoman looked at a middle-aged man. “Kaicheng, what’s wrong? You’ve been restless since you returned today.”
The middle-aged man turned to look at her, hesitating to speak, only pacing anxiously back and forth.
This middle-aged man was one of Kyle’s grandsons, Kaicheng, while the beautiful noblewoman was naturally Kyle’s granddaughter-in-law, Kaicheng’s wife, Bogjas.
“Kaicheng, what’s really going on? Tell me!” Seeing her husband’s state, Bogjas also grew anxious.
Kaicheng sighed inwardly. He had just returned from outside and had just heard the news—Borg wasn’t dead! He had returned?! At the thought of this, Kaicheng’s mind became chaotic.
He heard that his grandfather and Lord Luo had gone to Tian Peng Island, but he didn’t know what had happened to them now.
…
Not long after leaving Tian Peng Island, Huang Long and the others arrived above White Mist Island.
“Is this White Mist Island?” Huang Long asked, looking at the island covered in a thin layer of white mist below.
“Yes, young master,” Bogjar replied respectfully, then turned to look at White Mist Island and spat angrily, “This is White Mist Island!”
“Let’s go down,” Huang Long said, leading everyone through the mist to land on White Mist Island.
After landing, Huang Long and the others wasted no time and flew toward White Mist Mansion on the south side of the island.
It wasn’t long before they arrived at White Mist Mansion, which appeared hazy above the lake like an immortal palace in the heavens.
The arrival of Huang Long and the others caught the attention of the mansion’s patrol guards.
“Dareful! Who are you? How dare you intrude in the sacred grounds of White Mist Mansion!” A group of patrol guards surrounded them, their leader shouting.
But as soon as he finished speaking, he was thrown aside by Borg, falling into the lake with splashing water. The leader of the guards sank forever.
The sudden change caught the guards off guard. After a moment of shock, they reacted and angrily charged at Huang Long and the others.
Most of these guards were only at level five or six—how could they withstand the attacks of Borg and the others?
It wasn’t long before the cries of pain faded away, eventually disappearing entirely.
The commotion alerted everyone inside White Mist Mansion. Soon, the sound of footsteps echoed as patrol guards from every corner rushed over.
“Who dares to hurt people in the White Mist Mansion?!” A fierce shout came from afar, its power resonating and revealing the strength of the speaker—a master from the Sacred Realm! Under the gazes of Huang Long and his companions, a figure rushed out of the White Mist Mansion and headed toward them. The figure landed about ten meters away from them—a thin old man whose eyes flashed with lightning-like speed. “Borg, is that you?!” The old man glanced at Huang Long before fixing his eyes on Borg in disbelief. “Toby,” Borg said coldly as he saw the old man appear. Back when Chishui Island was destroyed, both Tianpeng Island and White Mist Island’s Sacred Realms were involved, making Borg and the masters of those islands “old acquaintances.” “Where’s the island master?” Toby’s heart sank upon seeing Borg here; he had a bad feeling. He knew that when Borg appeared on Tianpeng Island, their island master, Kyle, and Romen had gone there, leaving him behind in the White Mist Mansion to guard it. But now that Borg was here, what had happened to their island master? “Kyle? Well, you’ll meet him and Romen in hell soon,” Borg sneered. “What?! The island master was killed by you?!” Toby’s face paled as he blurted out. “Exactly, Toby. Die!” With that, Borg took off and struck with his sword. Terrified, Toby’s body flashed with electric light as he dodged Borg’s attack just in time. A loud crash echoed continuously. Looking back, Toby saw Borg’s sword pierce through the main gate of the White Mist Mansion, hundreds of meters behind him, sending the gate flying and collapsing the walls and courtyard. “A high-ranking master from the Sacred Realm!” Panicked, Toby tried to fly away. But how could he escape? As soon as he took off, he hit an invisible barrier and was sent flying back. As he fell, Borg struck him from behind, killing this low-ranking master from the Sacred Realm. The guards rushing from the White Mist Mansion were horrified by what they saw and retreated in fear. They knew any resistance was futile against such a powerful master. Yet, since the entire population of Chishui Island had been killed back then, these guards were also among the culprits. Borg had no intention of sparing them. His heavy sword emitted sharp sword energy, cutting through their lives. But with so many guards fleeing everywhere, Borg could only kill a few. Bloodshed and violence made Borg’s eyes grow even redder.
Nate watched Borg in a state of frenzied killing and couldn’t help but say to Yellow Dragon, “Master, Borg’s state is a bit abnormal.”
Yellow Dragon also frowned and sighed inwardly. They could understand a person harboring a decade-long hatred for revenge, but if Borg continued killing like this without proper mental control, it would harm him in the end. If not stopped, Borg might truly go mad.
Yellow Dragon formed a spell with his hands: “Vacuum Barrier!”
Space turned vacuum and solidified, instantly freezing Borg in place. Then, Yellow Dragon shouted, “Borg, enough!”
That shout was like thunder in spring, awakening the earth.
Borg’s mind shook, and he came back to his senses. The blood-red tint in his eyes faded, returning to clarity.
When Borg fully regained his awareness, he stared at the corpses scattered throughout the White Mist Mansion and stood frozen.
Yellow Dragon and the others approached.
“Young master, I… I…” Borg stammered.
“It’s okay. Let’s go inside and take a look,” said Yellow Dragon. He glanced at the White Mist Mansion and led Nate and the others in. Seeing this, Borg regained his composure and hurried after them.
He knew that even if he killed all the guards from White Mist Island who had killed his son and grandson back then, they wouldn’t come back to life.
A sense of confusion arose in Borg’s heart.
If that was the case, what was the point of his ten years of hard training, hoping to defeat Kael, Romon, and the others someday? Just to vent his hatred?
Borg realized that although Kael, Romon, and the others were now dead at his hands, he didn’t feel particularly happy.
As Borg was lost in thought, he followed Yellow Dragon and the others into the White Mist Mansion.
The mansion was now empty; the guards, servants, and maids had all fled long ago.
Yellow Dragon used his Divine Eye technique. Suddenly, he had an idea and, along with Borg and the others, soared into the air. When they reappeared, they were in a flat valley a hundred miles away from the mansion.
In the valley were hundreds of people—Kael’s sons and grandchildren, along with some guards, who had escaped from the White Mist Mansion.
The appearance of Yellow Dragon and the others filled the people in the valley with terror.
The guards rushed at Yellow Dragon and the others, clearly loyal defenders of the White Mist Mansion.
But it wasn’t long before all of them lay dead.
“Grandpa?!” Suddenly, a shocked voice came from the White Mist Mansion across from them.
Hearing this cry, Bog’s body trembled as he turned to look at a beautiful noblewoman among the terrified crowd across from him. His eyes widened in disbelief: “Si?”
This beautiful noblewoman was Bojiasi, the wife of one of Kyle’s grandchildren, Kaicheng.
“Grandpa!” Seemingly certain of who he was now, Bojiasi rushed over, her face streaked with tears. She hugged Bog and then knelt down.
Grandpa? Huang Long and the others stared in astonishment at what was happening.
Huang Long frowned, not expecting such a thing to happen.
At that moment, Bog also reached out with trembling hands to touch the beautiful noblewoman’s face. “Are you Si?”
With tears in her eyes, Bojiasi nodded firmly. “It’s me, Si, Grandpa!” Though she didn’t understand why her grandpa hadn’t died before, she felt only endless joy.
Bog never expected to see his youngest granddaughter, Bojiasi, here—she wasn’t dead after all!
But then, Bog suddenly froze, as if remembering something. He pushed Bojiasi away with a fierce expression. “How did you end up with the White Mist Mansion?! Speak!”
Bojiasi fell to the ground, her face pale. At that moment, a middle-aged man stepped forward from the crowd—Kaicheng, one of Kyle’s grandchildren.
Kaicheng went before Bog, knelt down, and, with tears in his eyes, recounted what had happened back then.
Once, Tianpeng Island planned to ally with White Mist Island to destroy Chishui Island. Kaicheng, as one of Kyle’s grandchildren, accidentally learned of this plan and took the opportunity to rescue Bojiasi before the two islands could act.
The two met, got to know each other, and fell in love during a journey together.
Not long after rescuing Bojiasi, news spread that Chishui Island had been destroyed.
Upon hearing this, Bojiasi was determined to seek revenge, but after Kaicheng persuaded her, she held back. Later, she discovered she was pregnant with Kaicheng’s child, and after many events, the two ended up together.
Of course, Kaicheng fabricated Bojiasi’s identity for the people of the White Mist Mansion.
After Kaicheng finished speaking, a boy around ten years old stepped forward from the crowd. The boy looked panicked and tearful as he knelt down, shaking Bog. “Old grandpa, please don’t kill my father and mother. They’re good people!”
Kaicheng and Bojiasi wept bitterly.
Bog’s face was also covered in tears.
Everyone was filled with sighs.
The people of White Mist Island stared in disbelief at Bojiasi—was she really the granddaughter of Bojig, the former ruler of Chishui Island, who had been hiding in the White Mist Mansion for ten years?!
“Get up first!” Borg’s hoarse voice came after a while.
