Chapter 592: Ascending to the Primary Plane

Several days passed, yet there was still no sign at the exit of that wormhole. Ye Feng and the others finally gave up waiting. They sent a few Dominators to keep watch secretly there, and Ye Feng’s group left.
“Judging from the current situation, nothing should go wrong in the short term,” Ye Feng said. “If we want to find out more about what’s really going on here, we can go to the primary plane!”
Hearing Ye Feng’s suggestion, everyone fell silent for a moment.
“The dangers in the primary plane are different from those in lower planes,” Long Tian said, looking at Ye Feng. “But in this plane, it’s already very difficult for us to improve our cultivation further. In the long run, I’m in favor.”
Ye Feng naturally understood why Long Tian was in favor. His practice of the Law Secret Patterns had reached 10,000, and only in a primary plane could he obtain further inheritance and see a significant boost in strength.
“I have no objections,” Pearl said indifferently, with the other women agreeing.
“Following Sister Pearl is the right choice!” Yi Fan shouted, raising his fist.
“We need to become stronger!” Shi Tuo and the others yelled.
“Then let’s get ready. We’re heading to the primary plane!” Seeing no objections, Ye Feng promptly made the decision.
……
“You’re leaving for the primary plane so soon?” The first to hear the news was Sherlock, the Dominator of the Fifth Holy Land—now the First Holy Land.
“The crisis in the Holy Realm has been temporarily resolved. There’s no need to wait any longer. Even if a crisis arises in the Holy Realm later, we can still help from the primary plane,” Ye Feng explained. “In this plane, our cultivation progress is too slow.”
Hearing that their cultivation progress was slow, Sherlock was speechless. He had known Ye Feng and the others since the beginning in the Holy Realm, so he was well aware of their cultivation levels back then and now. The contrast was striking. If such an extraordinary cultivation speed was considered slow, then he really had no idea what his own cultivation speed was.
“Alright,” Sherlock said helplessly, rolling his eyes.

“That wormhole area is probably unusable. The other side is likely an alien territory, and it must be quite far from human lands; otherwise, it would have been discovered by humans long ago.” Ye Feng clearly had no intention of leaving through the wormhole. Though he was adventurous, he wasn’t foolish. Using the wormhole was like sending sheep into the tiger’s den—a losing proposition he would never undertake. “So, we’re wondering how we can ascend to the main plane from this world. We’ve tried releasing all our energy, but it didn’t work.”

“To ascend to the main plane from here, one needs the help of a sacred site,” Sherlock said with a shake of his head and a smile. “You’ve come to the right person.”

“How exactly do we use their help? Tell us!” Ye Feng asked curiously. The others also gathered around, eager to know what was going on.

“The protective layer of the main plane is very strong. Only those at the star domain level or above, who release all their energy, can be sensed by the main plane and guided there. Others who reach the Starlight level must be transported through sacred sites—this is why the seven sacred sites exist,” Sherlock explained patiently. He knew that Ye Feng and the others hadn’t been in the Sacred Realm for long and didn’t understand many things.

“Where is the teleportation array?” Ye Feng asked, ready to teleport there as soon as he got an answer.

“Do you see that huge square in the center of the sacred city?” Sherlock pointed to the heart of the sacred city.

“That square is the teleportation array to the main plane?” Ye Feng certainly knew about that enormous square, larger than dozens of football fields, covered in intricate patterns. He had noticed it since entering the sacred city, but hadn’t paid close attention because of its vast size. He had only noticed the patterns twice as he passed by.

As his spiritual power swept over the array, Ye Feng frowned slightly. “It seems some special conditions are required to activate it.”

“That’s right. All the rulers of the seven sacred sites must be present to activate it,” Sherlock nodded. “And there’s another restriction: it can only be activated once every ten thousand years.”

“Can we use it this time?” Ye Feng asked worriedly.

“Yes. The last time it was activated was millions of years ago,” Sherlock explained with a smile. “Activating it consumes a tremendous amount of energy, and the array also accumulates energy automatically. It takes ten thousand years to gather enough energy for one transmission, which is why such a rule exists.”

“Then I’m relieved. Waiting ten thousand years? We can’t wait that long,” Ye Feng said with a shake of his head and a smile.

“That won’t happen. If we can’t use it within ten thousand years, you can still use the teleportation arrays of other sacred sites. Our teleportation array is relatively independent. In fact, the teleportation arrays of the seven sacred sites correspond to the seven reception points for ascendants in the main plane. The reception point corresponding to the first sacred site is the one with the strongest spiritual energy, the largest population, and the most bustling atmosphere. This is also one of the reasons for the ranking competitions among sacred sites.”
“Is that so?” Hearing this explanation, Ye Feng was no longer worried about this issue, as the usage time for each of the seven sacred sites varied, and if one couldn’t be used, another could be used instead.
“Although the teleportation arrays of the seven sacred sites are independent of each other, the keys are all in the hands of us seven rulers,” Sherlock continued. “To activate any of the sacred sites’ teleportation arrays, we seven must agree and use the seven keys to do so. This is also to prevent criminals from targeting these arrays and to avoid invasions by foreign races.”
“I see.” Earlier, Ye Feng had used his soul power to scan and noticed that there were indeed seven uniquely shaped keyholes on that array. “I originally planned to leave quietly, but it seems that’s no longer possible.”
Ye Feng and the others had only intended to say hello to Sherlock and then leave, asking how to ascend to the main plane. But they didn’t expect that the giant teleportation array required all the rulers to be present in order to use it. Now, all the rulers would know that their group was leaving the sacred realm.
“I’ll inform the others. When do you plan to leave?” Sherlock asked.
“The sooner, the better!” Ye Feng glanced at the people around him. “We’re all ready.”
“Alright, I’ll have them come over right away.” Sherlock took out his communicator, and after a short while, several people replied.
Half an hour later, all the rulers had arrived. After exchanging pleasantries, they gathered in the square. Sherlock ordered the city guards to enclose the area to prevent others from accidentally entering.
Ye Feng and the others stepped into the center of the array, while Sherlock and the other six stood at the keyhole positions, inserting their keys and turning them at the same time.
After a moment, stars began to appear within the array, and Ye Feng’s group disappeared…
