Chapter 341: Goodbye, Kelly

When Ye Feng forced open his heavy eyelids and woke from sleep, a face with a hint of childishness appeared before him.
“Mr. Dao Feng, you’ve finally woken up,” Wu Tian said with an excited smile, looking very pleased. “I’ll go tell our father.”
“Xiao Tian, wait—how long have I been asleep?” Ye Feng felt something strange upon hearing this and couldn’t help but ask.
“Over seventy days already!” Wu Tian turned around and counted on his fingers. “To be exact, it’s been seventy-eight days.”
“What????” Ye Feng’s face showed disbelief. “Seventy-eight days…?”
“Oh no!” He suddenly seemed to remember something and slapped his head hard.
“What’s wrong, Mr. Dao Feng?” Wu Tian asked, looking puzzled at Ye Feng’s sudden reaction.
“Oh no, oh no—Pearl and the others…” Ye Feng realized that during his coma, Pearl and the others must have finished their cultivation in the Realm of Refinement. But since he had been unconscious, he had no idea what had happened outside, nor where they had been taken after finishing their cultivation.
“Pearl?” Wu Tian’s expression grew even more confused.
“She’s a friend of mine…” Ye Feng hesitated, feeling it wasn’t necessary to go on.
“Is there anyone among your friends named Kelly?” Wu Tian asked, his expression becoming even more strange.
“Kelly? How do you know her?” As soon as he asked this, Ye Feng realized something. “Have you met Kelly?”
“A few days ago, she suddenly appeared in our Black Witch Clan’s territory, without any warning…” Wu Tian paused and looked up at Ye Feng.
“Where is she now?” Ye Feng was determined not to let this chance slip away after finally getting news about Kelly.
“In the dungeon…” Wu Tian hesitated for a moment before finally revealing the truth. “We didn’t know she was your friend… We thought she was an intruder and locked her in the dungeon. We’ve interrogated her twice, but she refuses to say anything, so we decided to force a confession from her today… But since she’s your friend, I’ll immediately order them to release her…”
“What did you do to her during the first two interrogations?” Ye Feng grew anxious. “Where is she? I need to see her!”

“The first two interrogations were just simple inquiries; no punishment was used. I’ll take you there first, then immediately inform the clan leader so he can release her from the dungeon.” Wu Tian nodded.
Only then did Ye Feng feel relieved and followed Wu Tian away.
The dungeon was gloomy and terrifying. In dozens of empty cages, all that remained were cold bones and tattered clothes from long ago…
It was utterly silent in the dungeon, as if no living beings had ever existed there in ages.
Wu Tian stopped at the door of one of the cells, opened it, and then left.
Even with Ye Feng’s keen eyes in the dim light, he could only faintly see a tall woman curled up in a corner of the cell, her arms wrapped around her knees. Her not-too-long hair still covered most of her face, making it hard to see her clearly.
Though he couldn’t make out her features, Ye Feng recognized her at first glance as Kelly, the quiet girl.
“Kelly!” Seeing that Kelly seemed unfazed by his presence, Ye Feng frowned slightly and called out.
Hearing this familiar voice, Kelly slowly raised her head to see where it was coming from. A burly young man with a compassionate smile was looking at her quietly.
“Ye Feng?…” Her voice carried a hint of doubt; she clearly wasn’t aware of his connection to her.
“Kelly, it’s me!” Ye Feng nodded and forced a smile.
“You were captured too?” Kelly’s first question upon seeing him left Ye Feng somewhat helpless.
“No!” Ye Feng shook his head. “It’s you who was misunderstood. They think you broke in illegally, that’s why they captured you.”
“But it doesn’t matter anymore. The misunderstanding has been cleared up,” Ye Feng continued. “You can leave anytime. I’ll explain everything to their clan leader.”
“What place is this?” Kelly was still uneasy.
“We’re in the Demon Realm now. This is the territory of the Black Witch Clan.”
“…”
With that answer, Kelly chose to remain silent. She knew that many things had happened outside since they entered the cultivation realm for training.
“Kelly, where are the others?” Ye Feng asked after seeing her emotions calm down.

“I don’t know. When I woke up, I was already near this village. Not long after I woke up, they found me and captured me,” Kelly said, with an awkward expression on her face.
“Then it seems everyone must have been scattered…” Ye Feng said as if to himself. “In that case, how can we find the others?”
Kelly heard Ye Feng’s words but remained silent.
“It seems we can only ask Wu Ze and the others to help for now,” Ye Feng sighed helplessly.
“Wu Ze, have you noticed any other cases like Kelly’s?” Ye Feng brought Kelly straight before Wu Ze.
“Kelly?” Wu Ze frowned slightly and sized up Kelly beside Ye Feng. “Is she the one who suddenly appeared in my Black Witch Tribe’s territory that day?”
“That’s right. I’ll explain the details later when I have time. Right now, I need your help with something urgent,” Ye Feng interrupted Wu Ze’s questions.
“Oh, what is it?” Wu Ze knew that if Ye Feng was willing to ask for his help, it meant the situation wasn’t as simple as ordinary people might think.
“Help me find people like Kelly—those who appeared out of nowhere around here…” Upon hearing this, Wu Ze’s brows tightened.
“You mean there are others like Kelly?” Wu Ze’s expression showed clear concern.
“That’s right. They’re my friends who got separated from me for some reason… I must find them now!” Ye Feng nodded helplessly.
“Alright, I understand. We can help you! But… only after you help us solve the problem of the parasitic worms!”
