Chapter 5: Grace
Standing up, Komer stretched his body and moved around a bit, feeling satisfied. Being able to enjoy some leisure in his private space amidst all the busyness was undoubtedly a great pleasure. This workshop was specially created by Komer for honing his skills, while the room to the left served as his pharmacy—preparing various medicines and elixirs was also one of his favorite pastimes.
Entering the meditation room on the right, he sat cross-legged on the bed, intending to meditate once more to cleanse and balance the magic within him. Having been busy with government affairs for so long, he had somewhat neglected this aspect. With an expedition approaching soon, Komer wanted to enter the bunker in top form. The second floor of the bunker would likely be no easier than the first, and he certainly didn’t want to become prey for undead creatures.
A faint, tingling alarm sound arose in the room. Komer frowned slightly and opened his eyes. Who dared disturb him at this time? Hadn’t the few people previously sentenced to fines and hard labor been enough to teach these ignorant fools a lesson?
The crystal ball in the corner of the room gradually lit up, projecting a huge holographic image of the area outside the meditation hut. The surroundings were clearly visible. A figure appeared outside the hut, walking back and forth, seemingly hesitant, but eventually heading toward the main door.
Komer was surprised—it was Grace! How had she come here? Didn’t she know this was his forbidden territory?
“Komer! Komer! Are you here? I know you’re here. I need to talk to you.” Perhaps due to an assassin’s innate keen intuition, Grace sensed the magical energy flowing near the door and stopped, calling out softly.
Shaking his head, Komer realized his meditation plans were ruined again. He jumped down from the bed, walked to the window, and pressed a button. The air magic guarding the door activated, and it swung open instantly, temporarily lifting all magical restrictions on the shaded corridor leading to the hut.
Grace looked around in astonishment. No one was there, yet the door had opened so easily—it was truly surprising. But Grace also knew that this former companion hid many secrets. Things that seemed impossible to ordinary people were nothing to Komer.
She stepped inside and followed the winding corridors to the end, where there was a quiet courtyard surrounded by a row of circular chambers. The doors to each room were tightly closed, and different stone paths led from the entrance to each chamber, separated by a special kind of plant that Grace had never seen before. She could sense that these plants seemed to have a living presence, even exuding an aggressive hostility directed at her.
Grace hesitated and stopped in her tracks. A door across from her opened, and Komer stepped out. “Grace, come in quickly.”
At that moment, Grace noticed that the plants seemed to receive some kind of command. Although their appearance remained unchanged, the hostile and aggressive aura inside them vanished instantly, which surprised and delighted her.
Entering the room, Grace was immediately drawn to a crystal ball in the corner. The continuously rotating ball was clearly a magic crystal, radiating a strong magical aura as it shimmered with colorful lights, looking extremely beautiful.
“Komer, what is this?” Grace couldn’t help but ask out of curiosity.
“Oh, this is a magic surveillance ball. It’s a special hybrid magic created by combining air magic and illusion magic. It’s nothing special—just a little trick. Why, are you interested too, Grace?” Although Komer spoke casually, his inherent pride couldn’t be hidden. “Want to see it in action?”
“Mm, yes!” Grace was straightforward and didn’t like to hide her emotions, so she nodded.
Komer sent a burst of magic energy at the crystal ball, causing it to slow down rapidly. The entire room seemed to warp under some kind of light, and a circular scene appeared before Grace and Komer.
Grace covered her mouth in surprise, unable to believe her eyes—wasn’t this exactly the scene outside the hermitage’s gate? The gate had been closed again, with rows of neatly arranged cedars and vines hanging from the lintel swaying in the wind. Suddenly, the scene shattered like a mirror in water, turning into ripples before dissolving into nothingness, only to reassemble before Grace’s eyes as another scene: it seemed to be the bamboo fence on the left side of the meditation hermitage, tightly wrapped in dense vines. A cuckoo was lightly hopping on the fence, and Grace could even see clearly the shape and color of its beak—how amazing!
Seeing Grace’s astonished expression, Komer smiled and pointed. A surge of magic flowed through, causing the crystal ball to spin rapidly again, and the image on the floor gradually faded into darkness.
“Grace, you didn’t come to see this magic crystal ball show, did you? Come, sit down.” Komer naturally took Grace’s hand and pulled her to sit beside him.
Grace hesitated, trying to pull away from Komer’s hand, but under his firm gaze, she gave in. It had been a long time since Komer and Grace had been alone like this. Since returning to the Caucasus, they had met much less often, usually only in the presence of their companions, leaving even fewer opportunities for private conversations. The faint affection between them seemed to have faded over time. But now, as Komer took her hand, that hidden sentiment deep in her heart began to surface again.
With her head lowered and silent, Grace allowed Komer to pull her to sit beside him. Her increasingly rapid breathing revealed that her heart wasn’t as indifferent as it seemed on the surface. A smile tugged at Komer’s lips—this girl seemed to be falling in love for the first time, finding it hard to let go when alone with him. He wondered what had given her the courage to come to him today, but it didn’t seem the right time to ask such a topic that might ruin the atmosphere. There were more important things he needed to do right now.
Gently lifting her hand, he brought it to his nose and inhaled its delicate fragrance. The subtle scent intoxicated Komer, but made Grace even more uneasy. She wanted to explain why she had come, yet the situation left her torn between anxiety and anticipation, forcing her to remain silent.
Realizing that the other person hadn’t rejected her, Komer became even more audacious. He lifted her chin with one hand, looking straight into her eyes. His piercing gaze pierced deep into Grace’s somewhat shy and evasive eyes.
“Ah!” Grace tried to turn her face away from his gaze that seemed to see through the depths of her soul, but Komer gently held her cheeks, forcing eye contact. Unable to bear the pressure of his gaze any longer, Grace closed her beautiful eyes, her rapidly rising and falling chest revealing her emotions.
With his breaths heavy and her lips trembling, who could resist such temptation? He gently leaned down and pressed his lips against hers. Without hesitation, Komer thought to himself that one who couldn’t control himself in such a situation wasn’t worthy of being called a man.
At that moment, it was like thunder crashing in Grace’s mind, sending her into a daze. Having never experienced romantic feelings before, Grace’s entire body trembled. As an elf by blood, she was already highly sensitive to external stimuli, and now, with her first kiss, passion surged through her. Her body curled up instantly, forcing Komer to hold her in his arms.
He separated Grace’s full, firm legs, allowing her to sit close to him. Her tight leather pants accentuated her exquisite curves, especially her buttocks, which made Komer want to rub them vigorously the moment he separated her legs—the full, firm sensation made his blood boil.
He greedily sucked the saliva from the girl’s mouth, as delicate moans kept escaping her lips as she lost control. Her hands, which had initially resisted, now tightly wrapped around Komer’s neck. Grace was completely immersed in this sudden whirlwind of desire.
Her hot cheeks flushed with a strange rose-red hue—her sensitive nature had reached a climax under Komer’s touch. Now unsatisfied with just tasting her lips, Komer began to explore her toned body, searching for weaknesses.
Grace’s tightly fitted assassin leather armor caused Kommer a lot of trouble, but it couldn’t stop him from moving forward. As he continued to tease the girl, his hands searched relentlessly. Hard work paid off, and soon he found a weakness under Grace’s armpit. He quietly loosened the leather straps and disengaged the buckles on her shoulder, removing the entire left side of her armor along with the breastplate. Her swollen left chest bulged out like an inflated ball, and though there were still two layers of clothing between it and Kommer’s right chest, the soft yet firm mound still sent a surge of sensation through him.
Kommer could no longer hold back. With a rip, he tore open her left chest garment, revealing a full, plump breast. Though it wasn’t his first time seeing such a sight, it still made his eyes turn red instantly.
Grace, feeling a chill on her left chest, didn’t have time to react. Kommer’s hand had already grasped her warm breast, squeezing and pressing it firmly. She could no longer stay upright and collapsed like struck by lightning into his arms.
