Chapter 7: Therapeutic Treatment
The man before her seemed to carry an air of mystery around him that grew stronger by the moment. He and the magician named Lome were by no means the inexperienced newcomers Grace had described. Although both were around her age, the man’s composure and confidence in every gesture far exceeded what one might expect from a newcomer. Yet, regardless of his identity, one thing Eve was certain of: he seemed to have no ill intentions. The sense of solidarity he showed toward the assassin deeply moved her. If he had any ulterior motives, he would have already succeeded—given that with just a slight effort, none of their companions would have survived that battle.
As Eve wandered in thought, Komer had already focused intently on Grace’s body. His mind guided his actions, causing his pocket to expand magically. He skillfully took out a jade box, ignoring Eve’s surprised expression. From the box, he drew several slender silver needles. Bending down, his face almost touching Grace’s body, he examined her closely. Feeling his breath near her skin, Grace trembled slightly again. Such a posture was utterly unacceptable—even between lovers, it would be unlikely in the presence of Eve and Lome. An unprecedented wave of shyness overwhelmed Grace.
Scanning Grace’s body intently, Komer’s fingers moved swiftly, and the silver needles were inserted in an instant. Even these few actions made sweat appear on his forehead. The needles were placed beneath Grace’s breasts, on her abdomen, and along her thighs. They were oddly shaped—slightly bulging at the top, cylindrical and transparent, with hollow bottoms, forming a tube-like structure.
“Uh, Komer, what are these?” Eve grew increasingly fascinated by Komer’s actions. There were so many surprising things about this man—his mastery of healing magic, and now this skill akin to medicine. She had no idea what other surprises he might hold for her.
“Well, this is a technique I devised myself. It can absorb the magical energy applied to Grace, thereby preventing the poison from spreading too quickly. I originally planned to use it on Briarnos first, but ended up using it on Grace instead. Let’s see how it works. Hopefully, it won’t disappoint me.” Komer smiled slightly.
Strange magical fluctuations soon appeared in the transparent tube at the top of the silver needle. Komer smiled in satisfaction and pointed it at the two girls. “Look, this is the water-type magic energy being absorbed. In this way, the poison’s spreading power is neutralized, and it can only rely on its own toxicity to penetrate. This should stabilize Grace’s condition. Now, the next step is to find a way to eliminate this poison.”
Eve’s admiring gaze filled Komer with an indescribable sense of pride. At that moment, he suddenly realized that he seemed to find a sense of fulfillment unlike anything he had experienced in the Caucasus only within this small group. His companions’ simple trust and admiration made him feel much more relaxed and happy. He liked this carefree sense of ease.
Lome also looked at Komer with admiration, though her reverence lacked Eve’s surprise. In her mind, the Great Sage was already omnipotent. Even if there were difficulties and obstacles, they were merely temporary, inevitable hurdles in the path of mastering magic. Moreover, the technique created by this Great Sage had already brought him close to the level of a Grand Archmage.
What followed left the two girls utterly astonished. As one medicine bottle after another was taken out from the floating space bag, Eve and Lome almost doubted whether such an unassuming bag could actually hold the contents of an entire room. They had heard of the existence of such space dimension bags before, but it remained merely a concept in their minds. Neither of them had ever seen such a top-tier artifact, said to be accessible only to those above the rank of Grand Archmage. A space dimension bag wasn’t a magical item that could be created through sheer magical power or advanced skills. To create one required a perfect convergence of timing, location, and favorable conditions.
Komer continuously selected the necessary ingredients from various ointments, powders, and liquids, mixed them together, and blended them in his palm before applying them evenly over Grace’s body. He gently massaged the area around the source of the poison to help the medicine spread and penetrate her body more quickly.
With a strange kind of heat, his palms gently moved and massaged over Grace’s chest, abdomen, and inner thighs. This subtly suggestive touch immediately provoked a reaction in Grace, who lay on the bed—like fingers plucking the strings of her inner desires, constantly brushing against the most secret and sensitive parts of her body. Her already highly sensitive skin gradually took on a strange rose-red hue. She even had to bite her lip to prevent herself from moaning. This almost torturous treatment was beyond her expectations, yet she found that her lower body, once completely numb, was slowly regaining sensation—only to plunge her into even greater agony.
Comer was immersed in this pleasurable therapeutic experience. After applying the medicine, massage was indeed needed to accelerate its absorption, but it didn’t require excessive use. Yet Comer took it to extremes, his palms moving slowly but firmly over her chest, abdomen, and waist. He experienced an unprecedented pleasure from her silky skin—her full, firm breasts, smooth flat abdomen, and hairy private parts. Touching her in this way gave him a sense of voyeuristic delight, forcing him to exert control over his desires to avoid losing control. Since returning from exile, he had seemed to be in a state of abstinence. Tracy and Lome had both stirred certain emotions in him, while Vero brought him a sense of freshness and comfort. Now, this intense sensation seemed to surge again within him.
Every touch of his fingers against her skin sparked fantasies in both of them, as if their thoughts were interconnected. Heat flowed between his fingers and her skin, creating a subtly suggestive and enchanting atmosphere that even Eve and Lome, who watched from the side, could faintly sense—triggering varying degrees of emotional resonance in them as well.
Fortunately, Comer realized in time that he had unknowingly infused his mental magic into this massage technique. While this helped the medicine take effect, it also seemed likely to cause many side effects. Though these side effects might not necessarily be bad, Comer still didn’t want to do this under such circumstances.
When Grace finally appeared at the door of the room, full of energy, her worried companions couldn’t help but tightly embrace Komer in celebration and gratitude. By the time Komer drew that trace of feminine magical fire from the silver needle back from Briarnos’s body once more, Briarnos had been completely subdued by Komer’s methods. The simple giant warrior looked at Komer with endless gratitude and reverence, and even Eve couldn’t help but feel a hint of jealousy—such fervent admiration was something she had never received from Briarnos before.
The temporary crisis had passed, and both Briarnos and Grace’s injuries had healed. At least for now, their safety in Prague shouldn’t be in much danger. The magic knights had increased patrols in the city, feeling pressured and humiliated by such reckless attempts to challenge their authority. They needed to prove through their actions that they were worthy of the reputation of the Bohemian Court Knights.
Continuous use of magic had left Komer somewhat tired, but he needed to talk to Eve alone. Judging from the performance of the three magicians, the enemy seemed determined to eliminate them at all costs. If not for his timely intervention, Eve and her group would surely have met their end. The assassins were clearly from professional killing squads, which were rare on the continent, especially in the north. Perhaps due to his own knowledge, it was extremely difficult to get in touch with such groups—one had to pay a high price and have significant connections. The involvement of Bohemia’s internal affairs department was a good thing. Although Komer doubted whether they would truly remain unaffected by external forces once they discovered the forces behind the enemy, their intervention would certainly make the enemy more cautious. At least they wouldn’t attempt another attack within the Kingdom of Bohemia, as that would be an outright challenge to both the kingdom and the Magic Guild. Komer thought it was more likely that some kind of compromise would be reached.
Now that the truth of this matter was known, the group needed to decide on their next move immediately. Unless they stayed in Prague indefinitely for protection, stepping outside the Kingdom of Bohemia would mean facing constant danger. Komer didn’t want to endure another unprepared attack like that.
