Chapter 30: The Crazy Stone, Section 7

Twisted, deformed, blown apart…
Just one encounter, and the thick door turned into a huge hole. Dust exploded outward, instantly obscuring everyone’s vision. Yet Black Hair hesitated not for a moment and rushed in without pause. Behind him, nearly a hundred Blood Wolf Pirates followed closely, leaving only two to guard the passageways.

Behind the door was a spacious hall.
The hall was enormous, covering hundreds of square meters—wide enough for Black Hair and the others to hold a mecha ball. But when he entered, it was surprisingly crowded.

Inside this vast hall, there were dozens of towering Rock Guardian soldiers. At first glance, they appeared as dark silhouettes, like statues!! They stood quietly around the hall, forming a circle, with the spot where Black Hair and the others rushed in being the only gap they had left open!!

Almost the moment Black Hair realized his situation, dozens of sharp stone axes, with fierce howls, sliced through the air and rushed straight at him!! The Killing Emperor’s usual rapid charge now seemed like handing himself over for slaughter.

The stone axes were extremely sharp, and their speed was terrifying. Such massive weapons seemed like straws in the hands of the Rock Guardians. Everywhere he looked, there was a blinding glint of light. In just one encounter, the Rock Guardians had blocked all of the Killing Emperor’s escape routes—leaving him no choice but to endure their attacks head-on?

But if he had to endure them head-on, was the Killing Emperor’s armor stronger than a Moor giant ship?
Absolutely… impossible!!

In the blink of an eye, Black Hair made his decision without even time to think carefully. His hands swept across the control panel twice in an instant. The massive Killing Emperor then performed a stunning maneuver.

It continued to charge forward, but its entire body suddenly lowered. The impact of its knees hitting the ground sparked a series of flames. In an instant, it ended up lying on its back. Yet the momentum from its rapid movement still pushed it forward, like a tornado skimming the ground, plunging straight into the circle of Rock Guardians. At the same time, the sharp stone axes flew over it, failing to touch even a single hair.

His hands retracted and then stretched out again. The Hands of the Killing Emperor now held two long machine guns. Immediately afterward, a series of blinding flames erupted as he spun rapidly, sweeping through everything in its path. The dazzling flames were like sudden red whirlwinds, sweeping along his low-slung figure and clearing out all space around him.

“Bang bang bang bang…” The crisp sound of machine gun fire continued nonstop. The high-temperature metal jets acted like sharp scythes, sweeping through the dense crowd of enemies with terrifying speed. In silence, many of them collapsed instantly. The massive bodies of the Stone Guardian warriors piled up like a small mountain.

It all happened in the blink of an eye. Even when the pirates who followed entered the hall, all they saw were a group of people lying on the ground, along with some Stone Guardian warriors still swinging their stone axes and roaring from a slightly farther distance. Due to their position, they had managed to avoid the first wave of bullets fired by the black-haired man. Taking advantage of the fact that the Killing Emperor had just fallen and couldn’t get up yet, they swung their sharp stone axes at his head once more!!

Inside the cockpit, the black-haired man’s moving hands suddenly stopped, and an expression of helplessness appeared on his face. At the same time, the Hands of the Killing Emperor raised his arms high, placing the machine guns that had just run out of ammunition on his body.

It was too sudden—such close range and such intense attacks. Even the black-haired man’s reflexes might not be fast enough to deal with it all. The number of Stone Guardian warriors he had already taken down was already his limit. Faced with the huge axe coming down on him again, he could only hope that the two machine guns, now done with their mission, could hold off for a moment—just enough time to catch his breath, even if it was only for a second.

But though a second seems short, it’s enough for a stone axe to travel several meters in an arc. So when the pirates entered later, they saw exactly what had happened.

“Bang!!”

A huge tower shield sliced through the air, thrown in forcefully by one of the pirates from the entrance. After knocking away the two stone axes aimed at the black-haired man, it covered the Killing Emperor above him. The immense weight of the shield pressed him down firmly, followed by a barrage of loud metal collisions. The black-haired man immediately felt as if he were inside a violently shaking can, almost spitting out blood.

Compared to him, the gray-haired man beside him had even less resistance. Under these sudden shocks, he silently tumbled backward. His green face turned pale as paper, with a hint of blood appearing at the corners of his mouth.

Not good!! In an instant, the dark-haired man’s expression changed drastically as he immediately thought of the little one’s current task. If this disturbance disrupted the little guy’s disguise, Blood Pupils and the others would surely be in grave danger!! In his desperation, the dark-haired man ignored the suffocating feeling in his chest. With a low growl, he raised the control lever in his hand with force!!

In the hall, the Killing Emperor suddenly let out a roar that shook souls!! His left hand suddenly reached out from behind the tower shield covering his entire body, sparks flying from his joints!! To everyone’s astonishment, he managed to stand up despite the shield. Even though the four stone axe wielders did their best to suppress him, they couldn’t stop the Killing Emperor in the slightest!!

“Pfft!” A mouthful of blood finally sprayed out. The dark-haired man’s eyes blazed with fury! It seemed as if he had become a completely different person in an instant. Correspondingly, intense red light suddenly burst from the Killing Emperor’s eyes as well. With a swing of his left hand, he forced the four rock warriors attacking him to retreat step by step, while his right hand suddenly reached into the backpack behind him and pulled out a long scythe.

“Oh, my God!!” The pirates behind him immediately gasped in shock, their eyes wide open.

They were all too familiar with that scythe. Wasn’t it the deadly weapon used by the dark-haired man during the incident with Lily last time? That scythe had even split a huge warship in two with just one swing, showing just how terrifying it was. It was said that among the weapons supplied to the Killing Emperor by the Dark Prison, this scythe had four words specially added to it…

“Swish!!”

A flash of blade light!!

It was like a burst of light suddenly appearing in the darkness. The bright blade light instantly caught everyone’s attention. It cut through space and paused time. Starting from the Killing Emperor’s right hand, it traced a beautiful arc around him!! Wherever the blade light passed, shields shattered and axes broke! Nothing could stop its swift movement. When the blade light disappeared, the pirates were shocked to find that the entire hall had fallen silent.

Centered around the ferocious Killing Emperor, the six rock warriors who had been attacking the dark-haired man now resembled wooden statues. Although they continued to swing their stone axes, they couldn’t make a single cut. They simply stood there quietly, like statues that had existed since ancient times.

“A crack!” A faint sound suddenly arose. Though so weak, it was enough to shock every pirate in the silent hall. With that sound, a small piece of stone suddenly fell from the waist of the Rock Guardian closest to the Killing Emperor, and soon a crack appeared clearly on its waist. The crack was tiny, yet terrifying. For in the next moment, the Rock Warrior was split in two right along that crack!! Its massive upper body crashed to the ground with a loud noise. Similarly, the other five Rock Guardians also slowly split into two halves, to the astonishment of all the pirates!!

“Damn… next time… better not let anyone get hit by that scythe…” muttered a pirate, pale-faced, as he stared at the remains of the Rock Warrior on the ground.

The pirates around him nodded in agreement, each with a look of fear on their faces.

But they didn’t have time to fear any longer. The Rock Guardians whose legs had been severed by the black-haired man were slowly getting up one after another. Though their legs were cut off at the knees, they acted like indestructible undead, struggling to support their bodies with their arms. Their heavy stone helmets prevented the pirates from seeing their expressions, but their anger could still be felt!!

Compared to these Rock Guardians who still refused to give up attacking, the Killing Emperor seemed unaware of anything else. His scythe in his right hand remained at the end of its last attack, while his entire body stayed motionless. Visible sparks flew from his joints.

“Damn it, was it overload from short-term use?” In the cockpit, the black-haired man leaned lazily in his seat, took out a cigarette, and lit it. He took a slow drag, then glanced at the pale-faced kid beside him, showing a worried expression as he reached out to touch its head.

“How are you, Ash? You weren’t hurt, were you?”

“I’m… fine…” The little creature tried to open its mouth wide and bit into another negative energy crystal, its thin body trembling violently as if struggling to hold on. It could only give a brief reply to the black-haired man’s question.

“The disguise hasn’t stopped. Boss Blood Eyes is still alive…”

“That’s good.” Hearing the reply, the black-haired man finally breathed a sigh of relief. He looked outside the cockpit, where his subordinates were quickly clearing out the remaining Rock Guardians. Now, he finally had time to take a closer look at this place.

He noticed that right in the center of the lobby’s wall was a stone the size of a millstone, emitting a faint glow…
