Chapter 920: Cosmic Changes
Su Che recreated an ordinary avatar in the Immortal Prison to continue accompanying his parents, wife, and children. In this life, he would let them enjoy the pleasures of ordinary people first. When their natural lifespan neared its end, he would elevate their life forms and lead them on a difficult path of cultivation. Indeed, Su Che would plan all the necessary trials in advance, guiding them unseen as they grew. Things couldn’t be too smooth, otherwise, their mindset wouldn’t keep up. Only after facing trials and gaining opportunities could they truly experience joy and learn to cherish what they had worked hard for.
The ninth level of the Immortal Prison Pagoda had finally been unlocked, meaning that this creation artifact had been fully developed by Su Che. The tremendous changes it brought extended beyond the space of the first level of the Immortal Prison—its second and ninth levels also transformed into vast, boundless voids. Without much thought, Su Che knew how to utilize each level of the pagoda.
“The first level is the mortal universe; the second is the ghost realm; the third is the realm of the five elements’ vital energy; the fourth, the soul enslavement space, is the spirit realm; the fifth, the skill extraction space, is the demon realm; the seventh, the power enhancement space, is the devil realm; the eighth, the time travel space, is the immortal realm; and the ninth is the divine realm…”
As for the sixth level, the energy transformation space, Su Che hadn’t planned to make it a world of living beings yet due to the existence of the Creation Divine Tree. At most, it would be a primitive plant world with some of the lowest-level insects, birds, and beasts.
The spirit realm (fourth level), the demon realm (fifth level), and the devil realm (seventh level) were middle-tier realms of equal dimension. The immortal realm (eighth level) and the divine realm (ninth level) were the highest realms that cultivators could reach. Depending on the nature of their power, they would ascend to different realms.
In short, Su Che wanted his Immortal Prison universe to be well-ordered—there could be no chaos with demons, monsters, humans, spirits, immortals, and gods all mixed together. Of course, this was just an initial concept, and it would take sufficient time to realize it…
Time flew by, and four thousand years passed in the blink of an eye. One day, Yu Qing, who had never appeared before, suddenly showed up before Su Che. Su Che wasn’t nervous about his arrival. After achieving dual unity with the Dao, as long as he was within the Immortal Spirit Universe, he was absolutely invincible. No living being could singlehandedly defy the laws of two cosmic worlds.
“Younger brother Su…” Yu Qing said gently with a smile, “I’ve never harmed your family. Shouldn’t you do the same for my daughter?”
“Yes.”
Su Che nodded. “I didn’t harm her. I just kept her imprisoned in Tianyin’s personal space. I can return her to you now.”
At this point, threatening him with Xueyu was meaningless, and Su Che certainly saw no need for it.
“Thank you,” Yu Qing said with a smile.
Su Che didn’t say much more. He promptly called out to Tianyin: “Release Xueyu.”
Xueyu, who had been asleep for over a decade, awoke. All these years, she had remained calm in Tianyin’s personal space, never uttering a word of resistance.
Now, seeing her father—and once again Su Che—she didn’t feel the joy of regaining her freedom. Instead, she gazed at Su Che with a melancholic expression, silently conveying to him, “Su Che, I’ve gotten used to being with you. I really don’t want to leave you. It’s just a pity you’ll never be able to trust me.”
Su Che smiled and said, “The bond between us lasts no more than 30,000 years at most. After that, you’ll have countless more 30,000-year periods to adapt to a brand-new life. Your father no longer needs any creation treasures to possess the power to create universes. As his daughter, you’ll grow to a great height in his world, and by then, your life’s goal will transform into the highest ideal in chaos. This little grudge between us really isn’t anything.”
“I understand.”
Xueyu sighed softly and added, “Thank you for not holding grudges over all the secrets and schemes I’ve hidden from you over the years. I’m leaving. I’ll bless you.”
Then, she flew away with Yu Qing into the distance. Until their figures disappeared, Su Che received another message from Yu Qing: “The Origin Demon Realm is no longer necessary. I’ll take it away. But this action will cause the demon race’s army of destruction to arrive earlier. I estimate it will be in 100 million years. You’d better be prepared.”
“100 million years?”
Su Che nodded. “That’s about right. It’s enough.”
As expected, just a few days later, the immortals of the Immortal Realm were astonished to find that all 90 spatial passages connecting to the Origin Demon Realm had vanished without a trace.
That day, the Heavenly Dao issued an official decree declaring: The Origin Demon Realm has disappeared!
The Origin Demon Realm, which had clung to the Immortal Realm for countless ages like a tumor, was gone? Nonexistent?
Although the immortals didn’t know the reason, without a doubt, everyone was overjoyed and excited.
For many years, the Origin Demons have been a mortal enemy of the immortals in the celestial realm. With every outbreak of the war between immortals and demons, tens of millions of true immortals have perished. No one could guarantee that the shadow of death wouldn’t fall upon them or drag them into this vortex of life and death.
Now, with the Demon Realm gone, this concern, this great worry, has finally been lifted.
On the day decreed by the Heavenly Dao, Su Che summoned over a dozen immortal lords before him and revealed a shocking news to them.
“In 100 million years, the Origin Demons will launch a massive invasion. I can’t even guarantee whether we can protect this universe.”
Su Che said in a deep voice, “I know you all long deeply for the Great Chaos Realm outside, but due to the restrictions imposed by the Heavenly Dao, you’re unable to realize this dream…”
Hearing this, immortals like the Holy Mother and the Evil Emperor became visibly excited. With their wisdom, it wasn’t hard for them to guess what Su Che would say next.
Su Che continued, “Now, in the name of the Heavenly Dao, I lift the spatial restrictions on you, giving you the chance to explore the Great Chaos Realm.”
“Really?”
The dozen immortal lords looked at each other, filled with joy, finding it hard to believe it was true at first.
“You all should know that the Chaos Realm is full of dangers. Once you go out, it’s best if you put aside personal grudges for now, unite as one team, and work together to face the unpredictable threats.”
Su Che advised kindly, “When you gain the confidence to handle other Chaos travelers on your own, it won’t be too late to part ways and go your own ways.”
“Understood.”
The immortal lords bowed together and thanked him in unison.
“Go.”
Su Che waved his hand lightly and then disappeared.
The immortal lords immediately felt a slight change in their state. Though they couldn’t pinpoint exactly what had changed, they all knew that the shackles imposed by the cosmic space on them had been removed invisibly.
Freedom! They were finally free!
Breaking free from the constraints of the cosmic space and entering the Great Chaos Realm—this was true freedom.
A month later, all the immortal lords formed teams and left this celestial universe together, with the Witch God among them.
In fact, the Witch God didn’t want to leave in such a hurry, as many matters within the Witch Clan still needed to be settled. But since the other immortal lords were worried that Su Che, who controlled the Heavenly Dao, might change his mind at any moment, they had no choice.
To fulfill this longed-for wish, he decided to ignore all the trivial matters at home—nothing mattered anymore. The vast chaos was mysterious and full of the unknown; the Witch God didn’t dare to venture into it alone like Su Che, so he had to set off together with the Holy Mother and others. There weren’t many things he couldn’t let go of, as Tianyin was still there to take care of the Witch Clan. “Those who can leave have already gone. After all, with their abilities, staying behind wouldn’t help me at all. Why not give them a chance to realize their dreams…” After they left, Su Che completely sealed off this universe, refusing to allow any chaos travelers to enter his universe for 100 million years.
