Chapter 986: Rise from the Ruins

Boom!!!!
With a thunderous explosion, the walls of the Tianmo Branch Hall—once the second most renowned branch hall of the First-Class Hall and standing outside the ruins of the Tianmo Sect for years—collapsed completely! Buildings crumbled, and their former glory vanished in an instant, replaced by gloom, decay, and oldness.

Outside the Tianmo Branch Hall, the more than a thousand surviving disciples of the First-Class Hall stood there, their faces pale, eyes filled with confusion and despair as they stared at the now complete ruins, unable to recover for a long time.

Although they had realized at the moment they left the Tianmo Branch Hall that their forces were not enough to protect it, the actual collapse of the hall and the disappearance of all its glory left everyone in shock—transforming them from disciples of the Tianmo Branch Hall into ordinary disciples of the First-Class Hall. All those present, including those in the city and along the roads, were stunned.

It was gone…
The Tianmo Branch Hall!
Once one of the strongest treasures of the First-Class Hall, standing tall in the Central Plains, and the pride of tens of thousands of its disciples—destroyed by Happy alone.

Many who heard the news and logged in could not accept this reality!

The disciples of the First-Class Hall who died in battle returned to the Martial Temple with solemn expressions!

All those who learned of this system announcement at the same time showed extreme disbelief and skepticism on their faces.

Meanwhile, the disciples of the First-Class Hall standing outside the ruins stood there numbly, their faces pale and helpless—once believing that the pride and dignity of the First-Class Hall could not be shaken or violated.

But this time, Happy used his strength to make the people of the First-Class Hall realize the truth.

Not only did the people of the First-Class Hall realize this issue…

Even the various factions observing from outside the Tianmo Branch Hall were shocked as they witnessed its destruction and the scene of corpses everywhere.

Countless eyes were fixed on the solitary figure at the center of the ruins.

Happy!

Now that the Tianmo Branch Hall had become ruins, nothing could stop people’s gazes.

Happy was now visible to countless eyes!

Standing on a high platform, surrounded by gray rubble and debris, along with countless corpses of First-Class Hall disciples, his slender figure, along with the sword pointed downward, exuded an unparalleled aura, intimidating all those around him!

Happy simply collected everything that had accumulated over the years in the ruined warehouses of the Heavenly Demon Branch Hall—everything stored there—into his Qiankun Bag right under everyone’s eyes.
Vast amounts of mineral materials…
Vast amounts of medicinal herbs…
Vast amounts of pills…
Tens of thousands of weapons and equipment, including magic weapons of high rank;
Blood and scales of the Fire Qilin…
Various martial arts manuals…
Various mission materials and crafting ingredients…
And billions of silver coins, along with countless other miscellaneous items whose names he couldn’t recall.
In front of countless people, Happy ruthlessly gathered as much as he could—taking all the supplies from the Heavenly Demon Branch Hall’s warehouses!
This included many pieces of equipment left behind by thousands of players who died within the hall’s boundaries!
“This kid is definitely going to strike it rich!”
Among the crowd, many martial artists noticed that the former disciples of the Heavenly Demon Branch Hall stared at the man in the ruins with such intense gaze it seemed to melt people, and their looks at Happy were filled with envy and amazement.
“Is that even necessary to say?”
As time passed, the martial artists outside gradually recovered from the shock of the Heavenly Demon Branch Hall’s collapse, and the chatter grew louder:
“I heard the master of the Heavenly Demon Branch Hall led a group of elite experts and commandos to seize supplies, but nearly two thousand people went in and didn’t bring back anything; all the masters died inside…”
“The Heavenly Demon Branch Hall was originally one of the most important resource branches for the First-Class Hall. If they can’t get those supplies this time, the resources there alone could be enough to build a large or medium-sized gang with a solid foundation!”
“Not just large or medium-sized!”
“The Heavenly Demon Branch Hall is the most important of all the branches! Just the Fire Qilin alone gives access to the highest-level forging and resurrection abilities…”
“The First-Class Hall has suffered a huge loss this time!”
“With all the Fire Qilin blood in Happy’s hands, if he uses it against the First-Class Hall in the future, their situation will be extremely dire.” Many people secretly rejoiced at his misfortune.
It was easy to estimate the disaster the Fire Qilin blood would bring to the First-Class Hall…
Even after sacrificing thousands of lives, the Heavenly Demon Branch Hall couldn’t do anything to Happy.
The cost of killing Happy was already enough to cripple a large gang!
Now, with so much Fire Qilin blood at his disposal, allowing him to appear at full strength before his enemies at any time—could the First-Class Hall have enough resources to revive its own people?

After happily obtaining all the supplies from the Tianmo Branch Temple, he didn’t leave the ruins immediately. Instead, he glanced around at the disciples of Yipin Hall who were standing further away, then began to count the numerous items in his Qiankun Bag.
“There’s no need for too much equipment; it can all be entrusted to a pawnshop…”
“There are quite a few pills and martial arts manuals too—better sell those all.”
“There aren’t many scales of the Fire Kirin, only about a hundred. Let’s keep them; who knows, the price of ‘Fire Kirin Scales’ might soar soon… There are quite a number of Tianmo Tokens, so we can make a good profit from those too!”
Happy actually had a pretty good sense for business.
The current price of Fire Kirin Scales was already high, and since he had managed to score some for himself, that was fine. Now that the Tianmo Branch Temple had collapsed, creating a power vacuum in control of the Tianmo Secret Caves, various factions surely wouldn’t miss such a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!
But as for Tianmo Tokens, there probably weren’t many circulating outside.
As he thought about this, Happy turned his attention to what mattered most to him—vessels filled with blood.
“…138 drops of Fire Kirin blood… One portion for each brother of the Hunter Family; we’ll have to be frugal with the rest.”
Happy thought to himself, “By destroying the Tianmo Branch Temple this time, we’ve slapped Mengyun and Yipin Hall in the face. Mengyun likely won’t just give up so easily.”
“The top experts from the Blood Alliance and Yipin Hall must also join forces…”
With their strong foundations, Happy was sure Mengyun and Xueyi wouldn’t sit idly by and let the Tianmo Branch Temple collapse, allowing someone to leave a deep mark on Yipin Hall’s reputation. If Yipin Hall really did that, there would probably be a second and third Happy soon!
However…
Happy didn’t plan to stop after destroying just one Tianmo Branch Temple. With the Hunter Family’s leader and the Blood Alliance still around, he certainly didn’t want that former “friend” to be idle.
“Xueyi… it’s your turn.”
…
On his way away from the Tianmo Branch Temple, Happy wasn’t stopped by a single disciple of Yipin Hall. Clearing a path for him as various factions wisely stepped aside, he rode away at full speed, disappearing from sight once again!
This time…
Happy’s actions against Yipin Hall didn’t appear immediately on the paid channels. Not even on the free forums were any related updates posted!

Apart from the various REP videos showing the destruction of the Tianmo Hall and the Tianmo Branch filled with corpses, it seems that the disciples of Yipin Hall reached some kind of consensus and none of them uploaded any REP videos of this incident. As a result, no one saw the detailed account of Happy destroying the Tianmo Branch! Many people understood this situation. After all, it was Yipin Hall that was involved, and the incident took place at the Tianmo Branch, which Yipin Hall paid great attention to. How could they not be enraged when Happy single-handedly destroyed the branch?! A shameful battle naturally couldn’t be made public. But… the more they tried to cover it up, the more the shocking news of the Tianmo Branch’s destruction spread everywhere on the official website forums. Even rumors about “setting rules” started circulating, unknown to who initiated them! Once these rumors spread, they quickly sparked another wave of excitement on the official website. Some said Happy was arrogant; others said he acted out of loyalty. Still, others believed that Yipin Hall had dug its own grave by using improper means to suppress Happy’s friends, pushing them beyond their tolerance. The destruction of the Tianmo Branch was probably just the first note of revenge… “This guy actually did it…” “Mingbo Weibu!” “How many more secrets does he have?” The destruction of the Tianmo Branch had a huge impact on Yipin Hall and the Blood Alliance, and the same was true for Meiying, the leader of Xifeng Tower. Meiying, who had already prepared for the worst, was briefly shocked upon learning of the Tianmo Hall’s destruction and Happy taking all its resources. She quickly saw through the wealth rankings that Happy’s wealth had soared to the top ten. Killing thousands of Yipin Hall experts in broad daylight… destroying the foundation of the Tianmo Branch gang! Seizing a large amount of supplies! Meiying felt that Happy was becoming increasingly powerful, and her own hand, ready to intervene at any time from behind the scenes, suddenly seemed inadequate. Out of control… Happy’s rapid development and growth had clearly exceeded her expectations, slipping beyond her ability to control. At this moment, after one shock after another, even she couldn’t help but feel confused.

Fighting against top Blood Alliance experts initially proved his strength was still there; facing experts from the First Rank Hall confirmed he was still at his peak. Then, by killing hundreds of Blood Alliance experts with his deadly skills, he revealed the “Meridians Transformation Technique” and the “True Dragon Ten Styles.” Defeating the Wild Wolves squad in Gusu City and joining forces with Bai Xiaosheng made his status as a world-class master beyond doubt. Now, by revealing the “Light Step Technique,” destroying the Heavenly Demon Altar, and killing thousands of First Rank Hall disciples, the dominance he displayed was enough to make all the giants in the Central Plains take notice…
Even more!
He now seemingly had the qualifications to stand on equal footing and converse with them!
At this point, even Shadow couldn’t guess what Happy’s next move would be.
