Chapter 513: The Transformation of the Demon Hunter (1)

“Even if constrained by rules and unable to unleash their full strength, demi-gods remain demi-gods—still far stronger than ordinary legends. But legendary warriors can gain an advantage through numbers. With a sufficient number of such warriors as allies, our chances of returning successfully this time will be much higher!”
Before leaving, God Bai Shan gave further instructions.
This was clearly based on God Bai Shan’s experience, and Donald naturally wouldn’t disregard his ally’s good intentions. As for legendary warriors, aside from the major kingdoms, there were also powerful true gods. Under Thalassar, both in number and quality, they were no less formidable than any other faction on the continent.
After seeing God Bai Shan off, Donald sent a message through the temple in Golden Sand City via the King of the North. Soon, the two true gods, Charles and Xize, received the message transmitted by Celt.
After meeting in the grand temple of Golden Sand City, the King of the North spoke first.
“What matters is so urgent that you had to call us here at once, Donald?”
Conqueror Xize, though silent, also looked at Donald with an inquisitive gaze, waiting for an explanation.
Donald immediately recounted God Bai Shan’s invitation and the details regarding the Forgotten Ruins.
The two Celt true gods listened, their expressions changing rapidly.
“So, Donald, have you agreed? But both Xize and I are already true gods, beyond any limits. We don’t have any demi-god warriors at our disposal, and among those with legendary strength, there are only two candidates. Having us join won’t provide much help!”
The King of the North said, frowning and shaking his head.
Xize, on the other hand, smiled and said, “Since Prince Donald has called us here, he must have an solution. You needn’t worry, Charles. How could we miss such an opportunity to rapidly enhance our strength?”
As the God of Kings, he had spent a lifetime manipulating politics and was far more astute than the King of the North, a pure knight-king.
Bai Sheng smiled slightly and said, “Prince Xize is right. Thalassar and Celt are one. When one suffers, all suffer; when one thrives, all thrive. Any benefits should be shared among us, and having more strength will also give us an edge in competing with other factions, allowing us to gain more!”

Seeing the two true gods nod in agreement with his words, Donald continued, “There’s less than a year and a half left before the Forgotten Kingdom opens. If Prince Charlie puts in the effort and succeeds in creating a demigod avatar, the chances are quite high. By then, with me, Ciri, Uther, and Amps, our side will have five demigods at our disposal. Even the Church of the Dawn Lord probably can’t muster such a lineup right away!”
The King of the North nodded and said, “True. Unless multiple factions unite, they can at most send one or two demigods. The only faction in the continent that can freely deploy more than three demigods is an alliance like the Church of the Three Radiant Gods!”
Yet Charlie still had doubts and said, “But I’m not like Prince Donald, who already has a powerful divine kingdom. Within a year, I can only guarantee the initial establishment of a divine kingdom, and it will take at least another year to gather the necessary elements for an avatar. By then, it might be too late! This is thanks to observing your process of creating a divine kingdom before. Otherwise, even if it takes ten years to develop a basic framework for a divine kingdom, that would already be quite good!”
Donald raised his eyes and smiled, “I’ve already prepared a divine kingdom for Prince Charlie. I originally planned to reveal it after some time, once your strength had stabilized. Bringing it out earlier won’t cause much of a problem!”
Hearing this, the King of the North was astonished and asked, “Are you saying you’ve prepared a divine kingdom for me?”
Not only was Charlie surprised, but even Ciri found it hard to believe. The value of a divine kingdom was all too clear to them, as newly ascended gods.
“Of course. And it’s the one that suits Prince Charlie best!”
Hearing this, Charlie asked thoughtfully, “What do you mean, Prince Donald?”
“That’s right. It’s the same divine kingdom as the one of the God of Winter Wolves. Although its structure is somewhat crude due to limited wisdom, its essence is far superior to that of ordinary lower gods’ kingdoms!”
After receiving Donald’s affirmative answer, both King Charlie and King Ciri were overjoyed.
The King of the North even stood up, gave a knightly salute, and said solemnly, “Prince Donald, your generosity fills me with gratitude, but this divine kingdom is extremely important to me. So, I must take it despite my shame. But I won’t accept it for free. If there’s anything I need, please let me know, Prince Donald—no matter how difficult the conditions!”

Donald smiled faintly and shook his head, saying, “Your Highness Charlie, there’s no need for that. Since we’re allies, it’s only right to help each other. All I ask is that I get priority in choosing what we gain from this mission as compensation for this divine kingdom!”
With such a simple condition, Charlie naturally agreed immediately. Even if Donald got priority in selection, it was still a disadvantage for him. For a newly ascended god eager to claim a throne, the value of a divine kingdom couldn’t be compared to just a few artifacts or similar divine items—especially one that suited him perfectly.
After settling this matter, Donald wasted no time and led Charlie into the Kingdom of Truth, opening the passage to the Kingdom of Winter Wolves, which was attached to it. After the King of the North entered, Donald left him to take control of the kingdom’s powers on his own.
“I suppose with the advantage of inheriting the divinity and some powers of the God of Winter Wolves, Charlie should be able to more easily take control of the core of this unclaimed divine kingdom!”
After completing these steps, Donald prepared to move on to his next plan: creating a demi-god avatar.
A god can have several avatars created from his own energy, such as saintly avatars, divine projections, and true god avatars. Among them, the true god avatar is the most powerful.
An avatar can be considered a part of the god’s self or an absolutely loyal servant of the god. This is because an avatar is essentially a portion of the power separated from the divine laws and powers inherent in the true god.
Thus, an avatar can be in different realms at the same time, carrying out various activities separate from its true form.
There are two prerequisites for a true god to create an avatar: having a divinity rank of lower god and possessing one’s own divine kingdom.
The reason Donald was able to create an avatar earlier when entering the Pantheon was partly because his Law God aspect already had its own divine kingdom as a newly ascended god. The other reason was the assistance of the Book of Truth, along with his strength far surpassing that of peers!
One avatar was created through the Nature Guardian divine role. Now, as his divinity rank increased, it automatically rose to the level of a new ascended god’s avatar, so he needed to create another one.
Now, Donald had six divine roles: Nature Guardian, Judgment, Summoner, Demon Hunter, Alchemy, and Blacksmithing. Considering that this new avatar would need to engage in dangerous battles, the Demon Hunter—a profession born for combat—was undoubtedly the most suitable choice!
