Chapter 50: Unsealing – Section 4
“Head!!!”
Watching the Killing Emperor get smashed in half in an instant, the monkey in the sky gritted its teeth and roared frantically…
It was unexpected—completely unexpected.
He, who had long been accustomed to the invincibility of the Black-Haired warrior, never imagined he would one day witness such a scene. The supreme ruler of Death Star, the King of Blood Wolves, had been torn apart by a single punch right before his eyes!!
Damn it! That was the Killing Emperor—the strongest and most outstanding mech on Death Star, the only one worthy of the title of “Demonic Mech”! Enhanced with Wandering Cell technology and fueled by hormones, wasn’t it supposed to be the strongest? How could this happen? How could it!!!
Yet, no matter how shocked the monkey was, it refused to believe it. The split body of the Killing Emperor still traced an arc through the air before falling in completely opposite directions.
On the ground, countless shattered parts scattered everywhere, rolling along. Some of the Wandering Cells, violently crushed, struggled desperately to reassemble. Bright red blood flowed down their bodies, painting bloody patterns on the ground.
The upper body, which housed the mech pilot’s cockpit, crashed onto a nearby open area. A torrent of blood flowed from it like a stream, creating a horrifying sight.
“He’s… going to die…”
Inside the cockpit, the Black-Haired warrior was already in a semi-comatose state. His body was covered in cracks shaped like child’s mouths. That terrifying punch not only split the Killing Emperor in two but also dealt him a massive shock. Even with the full power of the Wandering Cells to cushion the impact, it was still impossible to fully resist such overwhelming force. At least one-thousandth of that terrifying punch force struck the Black-Haired warrior’s body directly.
One-thousandth might seem like an insignificant number. But only those who experienced it could understand just how terrifying it was. At that moment, the Black-Haired warrior felt darkness ahead, as if a huge boulder had hit his back. Blood gushed from his mouth. Almost every inch of his skin was torn apart by that force. If not for his exceptionally resilient nerves, that single strike would have killed him instantly!
“What terrifying power… Is this… the power of Yazi?”
In a daze. His black-haired thoughts were as elusive as clouds. Until today, he had held great confidence in his own ability to defeat the Killing Emperor, believing that no force or mech could surpass him in this world. But today—no, just now—that mech, Ya Zi, which was only one-third the size of the Killing Emperor, dealt him a fatal blow, completely shattering his confidence. Just one strike. That small fist seemed so insignificant. In the past, Black Hair would never have believed it could exert such immense power; it defied the laws of physics. Logically, even if the opponent had great strength, the impact area would at most damage a portion of the Killing Emperor’s armor. At worst, it might create a hole the size of a bowl. But that wasn’t the case. That small fist actually shattered the entire waist of the Killing Emperor!!! Even though the waist was dozens of times larger, the result was the same!!! How was that possible?! This was no longer just a matter of physics!!! Coughing up blood, Black Hair struggled to recall that moment. That small fist, seemingly gentle, just making light contact… No, it was definitely not just force! It was… Suddenly, Black Hair’s eyes widened as he remembered a term that existed only in legends. Momentum!!! Yes, that was it—a term that could never appear in any technological field, belonging solely to the realm of mysticism. Intangible and elusive, yet something many were willing to spend their entire lives trying to understand. How could this be?! That was a mech—how could it use techniques reserved only for the strongest warriors in legends? Techniques that carried immense power in every movement? After all, in legends, those who possessed such skills were no longer human—they had become… Gods!!! Could this be China’s super mech project?! A profound darkness surged within Black Hair’s heart. At that moment, he was utterly disheartened. It turned out that in the face of absolute power, his proud skills were utterly useless. Just one strike could easily defeat someone ten times stronger than him. Truly, it lived up to being the most ferocious dragon in legend. Ya Zi…
Slowly closing his eyes, a faint smile appeared at the corners of Black Hair’s lips. For a warrior, wasn’t this outcome a form of happiness? The enemy was indeed powerful—far beyond imagination. Yet, in a way, it was the product of Black Hair’s own efforts; evenit could be said to be his kin. his kin. It was in his hands, the perfect outcome.
It was a pity he couldn’t see with his own eyes who was piloting it. Such a powerful mecha—what kind of great warrior must its owner be? It was truly a shame he couldn’t see them…
“Crack…” A slight cracking sound came from inside the cockpit.
Black Hair didn’t move. He knew it was the Wanderer cells at work. At this point, they must have run out of energy. After suffering such a severe blow, those hungry cells must be going mad, devouring everything in their path—the Killing Emperor’s armor, weapon systems, energy engines, and even… the cockpit itself.
If he was right, that slight cracking sound was likely caused by those Wanderer cells devouring the outer walls of the cockpit. Along with that sound, the cockpit must have developed slight cracks. Soon, those cracks would widen, losing their protective function. The Wanderer cells would flood in frantically, devouring him completely, leaving not even bones behind.
Was this his ultimate fate? Perfect…
Unconsciously, Black Hair smiled even more happily.
On the other side, Monkey saw a different scene. Amidst the thick clouds of smoke, that exquisite red mecha continued moving. After delivering its deadly punch, it stood still for a moment before, as if receiving some command, slowly headed toward the remains of the Killing Emperor. Its steel ankles made a rustling sound as they stepped on the ground covered in debris.
“Head!!!”
Seeing this, Monkey could no longer hold back. He couldn’t allow that terrifying creature to get any closer to Black Hair. Without even thinking, he pushed the control lever to the extreme. The Sunset, now transformed into a flying vehicle, suddenly stopped mid-air before descending again with its massive two-handed sword, slashing down at that terrifying, exquisite mecha. The sharp blade tore through the almost solidified air, emitting a shrill screech.
Yet once again, Monkey achieved nothing.
It was almost exactly the same as what he had just seen. The very moment he was about to attack, that terrifying mecha suddenly disappeared before his eyes. But having learned from Black Hair’s experience, Monkey knew it hadn’t really disappeared—it was just moving faster than vision could track. Without hesitation, he turned around and slashed. His giant double-bladed sword instantly transformed into a halo that surrounded his entire body, cutting everything in half. Yet before Monkey could confirm the outcome, he felt his “Dying Sun” suddenly sink before soaring back into the sky. Everything around him began to spin wildly…
Damn it, he had been caught in a throw.
Inside the cockpit, Monkey’s face turned pale as he remembered the combat techniques Black Hair often used. A throw usually preceded a fatal attack. Once caught, a barrage of violent strikes would follow. And the end result…
Monkey didn’t want to think about it… Because the next moment, a small fist landed on the back of his “Dying Sun,” accompanied by a violent explosion. Thick darkness swallowed him whole.
“Clang…”
In the sky, countless pieces of the “Dying Sun” fell like rain, bouncing across the ground. With one final loud roar, two equally damaged mecha wreckage crashed down, rolling a few times before staying still. Not far away, that red, exquisite mecha had just retracted its fist. Without even glancing at Monkey’s ruined “Dying Sun,” it turned and continued toward Black Hair’s Killing Emperor. In its faintly glowing eyes, shifting streams of data could be seen. At the same time, that mysterious voice sounded again.
“Target successfully eliminated. Execute next command. Command: Search… Retrieve.”
The rustling sound was like the footsteps of death. Soon, the red mecha arrived at the wreckage of the Killing Emperor. It curiously examined the writhing Wandering Muscle on the wreckage before suddenly extending its hands.
“Ssshh!!”
The Wandering Muscle, said to be tougher than steel wire, instantly disintegrated under its hands, revealing the silver-white layer beneath.
“Enemy cockpit detected. Target scanned… Alive. Command: Search… Capture.”
With that voice, Black Hair’s cockpit was forcibly pulled out of the mecha. The Wandering Cells devouring it below let out a nauseating screech, splitting into countless tentacles to try to grab that nearby food again. But they were immediately crushed to pieces between the fingers of the red mecha.
The ground suddenly split open, swallowing the red mech and its cockpit in one.
