Chapter 47: Time Sealing – Section 2

“Damn it, it’s running again!”
A shout disrupted the silence in the entire workshop. Kuroha watched as the Black Prison researchers, who were too busy to even lift their heads, suddenly became chaotic. Like madmen, they dropped what they were doing and rushed toward a man in the center of the room, shouting frantically as they ran.
“Really? Really? Where? How did they do it?”
“Oh, damn it, stop crowding! There are only a few people here. Why are you in such a rush?”
“Ah, hell! Who stepped on my foot?”
In an instant, the room turned into chaos. A crowd of frenzied Black Prison members squeezed together, too chaotic to count. Kuroha saw one guy climb to the top of the crowd by standing on hiscompanion’s shoulders just to get a better look inside. His wild behavior was like that of a starving beast.
“Hey, Madaro.” Kuroha stared at the frenzied Black Prison members, then tapped the leader beside him. “Is it really okay?”
“What?” Madaro turned back, confused. “What are you talking about?”
“I’m talking about him,” Kuroha said, pointing at the guy who was running the fastest. He looked puzzled. “If I’m not mistaken, the symbol on the bottle in his hand is… extremely dangerous. Running around the room with something like that—don’t you think that’s excessive? What if it breaks? That thing must be very dangerous, right?”
“Ah, this?” Madaro shook his head, muttered an annoyed curse, then turned around. Suddenly, he shouted, “Hey, you damn bastard! Stop staring and put down what you’re holding! Can you afford to break it?”
“Huh?” The guy pointed at was clearly confused. He glanced at Madaro’s angry expression and then at the glass bottle with a skull design in his hand. He simply said, “Oh,” before throwing it aside. It arced through the air once more, and then…
“Crack!”
A guard who had been standing nearby rushed forward in two steps, leaping to catch it. When he stood up, his usually expressionless face was pale with fear. He glanced at Kuroha, who remained calm, and carefully placed the bottle aside, as if handling a bomb.
Seeing him so nervous, Kuroha couldn’t help but wonder.
“Madaro, what exactly is that thing?”

“It seems to be a blurred mass of negative energy, right?” Madaro frowned. “A new form of negative energy. We’re still studying it. Well, if exposed to air, it might explode due to its unstable energy form. Its power is roughly equivalent to that of a heavy missile warhead.”
“Hiss…” The black-haired man gasped suddenly, his eyes widening like bells.
“You guys are treating such a dangerous thing like this?”
“And what’s wrong with that?” Madaro tapped the controller nonchalantly. The life support device gave a shrug. “There are many dangerous things here. Like that one beside you—high-concentration composite phosphoric acid, a highly corrosive liquid. And this one, um, source metal decomposition liquid, which can also melt flesh. It’s for research. How can we do it without these? We’re used to it.”
“Huh?” The black-haired man was shocked. He stared intently at the bottle beside him.
High-concentration composite phosphoric acid? Is it the small bottle right here? Damn!! When he entered earlier, he seemed to have touched this bottle. He never imagined it could be so terrifying. It seems he must develop the habit of washing his hands frequently when he goes back. Otherwise, if he visits Black Prison Planet a few more times, he might not even know how he died! (Laugh… Everyone should develop the good habit of washing their hands often. Otherwise, there might be residues left by the madmen from Black Prison right beside you. Who knows what those could be.)
He stepped back subtly. The black-haired man carefully avoided the shiny bottle before nodding.
“Hmm, not bad.”
“Thank you.” Madaro smiled proudly. “It’s not that dangerous actually. Don’t worry. The security here is quite good; they’re very skilled. Even if you accidentally touch it, or even throw it, just like that pig earlier, they can rush over and catch it in no time. Nothing will go wrong.”
“Indeed, I saw that.” The black-haired man nodded again, his face serious. But inwardly, he resolved that when he returned, he would definitely increase the number of guards here by at least twice. Damn, such a large room with only two or three guards—how can Madaro be so confident? What if three bottles fell at the same time? Even if these guards were gods, they couldn’t handle it, right? Unless they could grow several arms.

The madmen in Black Prison were all treasures in his own hands. If anything went wrong, his Blood Wolves wouldn’t be able to show off anymore. They’d better go home and hold their children. Just imagine a massive explosion in such a room with no one escaping—Hei Fa felt his scalp burning with anger.

He took a few deep breaths, feeling much better, before continuing to ask, “So what does it mean that the thing from earlier started working again?”

“Oh, that…” Madaro laughed lightly. “It started working again—of course, I mean time. Didn’t I tell you? Time stopped in the virtual universe yesterday… Wait!? Was that what they shouted earlier? It started working again. Damn it!!” Madaro suddenly froze, then turned sharply, frantically operating the life support device as he rushed toward the crowd, shouting the whole way, “You filthy pigs, get out of the way! Let me see what’s going on. Whoever tries to stop me won’t be allowed to conduct research tonight!!”

“Whoa!” At Madaro’s final threat, the crowd scattered as if frightened, revealing a pale-faced man in the middle. Madaro’s heavy life support device hit him like a train, sending him flying before taking his place.

After that, Hei Fa heard bursts of hysterical laughter. “Hahaha, as expected… it’s working, it’s working again… Damn, it’s slow, but it’s true! The value is increasing—it’s running and accelerating!!”

Shaking his head at Madaro’s madness, Hei Fa had no words left. He gave a sympathetic glance at the sweating guards around him and quietly left the room.

He knew those madmen in Black Prison all too well. If they made a discovery, no one else would be interested in anything else. Staying would get him no attention either. It was better to leave quietly. He believed that after this crazy period, Madaro would give him a perfect explanation.

But even without an explanation, Hei Fa could guess roughly. Undoubtedly, the Black Prison group had found another breakthrough. Since the virtual universe inside the Stone of Light and Dark had started working again, it meant they had successfully reversed the time stop. As for how they did it, Hei Fa smiled bitterly. That wasn’t something he should know.

Back on Death Star, Hei Fa continued to bury himself in his busy administrative tasks. Military matters of all sizes lay before him, leaving him no time to rest. It wasn’t until night fell that Hei Fa suddenly realized he had missed dinner time.

Turning around, he saw a set of exquisite tableware on the table behind him—somehow already there. The hot food still emitted a pleasant aroma. Next to it was a note that read:

“I don’t know when you’ll finish your work. But I’ve already prepared dinner for you. Eat as soon as you’re done. And don’t overwork yourself—proper rest is needed to stay energetic. That’s what you told me…” At the end was a cute smiling face.

It was Su Lei. Hei Fa smiled gently, feeling a wave of warmth in his heart. The tableware was warm to the touch, clearly carefully treated with a small temperature control device to maintain its temperature. Such devices were already widespread on Death Star, a testament to technological progress.

Letting out a long sigh, Hei Fa put aside his troublesome duties for the time being. Just as he was about to eat, suddenly—

“Bang!!” The door flew open, and Baroka rushed in.

“Boss!! No, it’s bad!!”

“What? Can’t you be more careful? It’s been so long—why are you still so impulsive?” Hei Fa shook his head in dissatisfaction, interrupting Baroka. “Go on, what’s the matter? Did your subordinates fight with someone from the Four Great Families again, or did they offend the bar owner on Death Star?”

“No! No! It’s not that!! Boss, it’s Black Prison, Black Prison Planet!!!” Baroka gasped for breath but still managed to speak.

“It’s Black Prison Planet!! There was a massive explosion just now!!!”

“What!?” Hei Fa’s expression turned grim as he jumped up instantly. Without even bothering to put on his coat, he grabbed Baroka and rushed out of the room like the wind, trying hard to control his emotions while running.

“Speak slowly. There’s still time. We’ll go right away. But first, tell me what’s going on.”

“I don’t know.” Baroka stumbled under Hei Fa’s pull but managed to keep up. “The explosion just happened. I haven’t been able to determine the cause yet. All messages sent to Black Prison Planet have gone unanswered. Our communication is down!”

“Damn it. This isn’t a malfunction!” Hei Fa’s heart sank. He ran even faster, a badbadpremonition creeping over him as he recalled what he had seen that morning -> a bad feeling creeping over him as he recalled what he had seen that morning creeping over him as he recalled what he had seen that morning.

An accident… it must be an accident. Damn!! Don’t those madmen in that black prison know how dangerous the things they’re playing with are? Where did the explosion happen? Were there any casualties? How serious is the situation?
For a moment, the dark-haired person was extremely anxious.
