Chapter 30: The Crazy Stone, Section 2

There’s a way to take advantage of chaotic situations. Although Black Hair had no good feelings toward the Fifth Fleet, what was more important to him wasn’t to seize this opportunity to eliminate them, but to obtain that Stone of Light and Darkness.
After careful observation, he became even more convinced that those fierce and fearless spiky creatures roaming the universe were actually Rock Warriors! They merely wore new armor. And this armor provided them with the power and protection needed to move through space.
As for why the armor resembled that sea urchin warship so much, Black Hair couldn’t figure it out. Perhaps those Rock Warriors had been scared by the sea urchin warship before and thought that only such armor made one a true strong warrior, so they subconsciously imitated it?
It was unlikely, but Black Hair had no interest in guessing their thoughts. With their skills, he and his men had already begun the disguise process.
All the equipment they brought with them to the Moor Empire had been carefully modified by the Black Prison Gang. Though not in large numbers, each piece was top-quality. Thus, their mechs not only had assault and combat capabilities but were also equipped with holographic projection devices.
It was a deceptive system. Once activated, it could create holographic images on the surface of the mech, hiding its true form. The holograms could be customized at will—they could simulate any creature, plant, or even lifeless boulder they desired. The precision and realism of these images were sufficient to deceive any living being. Of course, holograms were still just images—they couldn’t be touched, otherwise, their true form would be revealed.
But they were now in a chaotic battlefield. With everyone so distracted by the fighting, who would pay attention to scattered meteorites suddenly leaving the asteroid belt? Even if those meteorites were heading straight for the planet Hahathul…
“Hahaha… This is fucking awesome. Walking right in front of their noses like this—just thinking about it is thrilling. Damn Fifth Fleet, they were so mighty just now, but now they have to serve as our foot washers!” In the cockpit, Blood-Pupiled laughed heartily, joined by the pirates around him.

The disguised advance went smoothly—such skill at deception. They had silently crossed the battlefield and entered Hahathor’s atmosphere right under the noses of the Fifth Fleet’s massive Moor giant ships. As they passed through the encirclement, their nearest mech was less than a kilometer away from one of those giant ships. The pirate could even see the patterns on its armor. The fact that they could see the armor of warships with the naked eye showed just how close they were to the Fifth Fleet. To put it bluntly, it was almost as if they were standing face to face. Yet even so, the Fifth Fleet remained completely unaware of these ghostly intruders. With holographic projections used and all engines that might emit energy fluctuations shut down, the group led by Black Hair had truly become like stones. Unless some warship happened to want to fire at these fragments of meteorite that couldn’t even scratch their armor, it was impossible for them to detect them. So until the moment they landed, the pirates’ wild laughter never ceased. But among those rough laughs, there was a slight dissonance—a high-pitched, sneering laugh. “Hehehehe… Hehehehe… These stupid giants can’t even spot such a simple disguise. If it were me handling this, they wouldn’t even know where north is! Hehehehe, they’re so stupid, so foolish!!” A small green figure was bouncing around in the Killing Emperor’s cockpit, laughing triumphantly. But soon, it was terrified by nearly a hundred pairs of eyes appearing on the communicator and shrank back behind Black Hair. Blood Pupil pointed at the green figure on the monitor, stunned. “Boss… how did you let it out?” Like Blood Pupil, the other Blood Wolf pirates were also stunned, staring at the terrified figure, unable to speak. That figure wasn’t the green elf who claimed to be Ashen Soil? “Heh, don’t worry. It won’t cause us any trouble.” Under so many gazes, Black Hair also felt uneasy. He smiled casually and gently stroked the green elf’s head. The little guy immediately closed its eyes, pretending to enjoy it. “I’ve reached an agreement with it. From now on, Ashen Soil is one of our Blood Wolves.”

“He’s great, brave, smart, noble. Lord Ashen Earth!” The little guy immediately raised his head in protest. But soon he saw pairs of angry eyes and quickly shrunk back, hiding behind the dark-haired one. His voice dropped. “Is Ashen Earth great?… A little great… Maybe great… Okay, I admit it—Boss Beck is greater…”
“Shut up! You noisy brat!!” Bloodshot Eyes’ forehead bulged with veins as he roared in anger. The little guy was terrified and trembled, hiding behind the dark-haired one, refusing to come out no matter what.
“Boss, you know how dangerous this little thing is! Just letting it go—aren’t you afraid it’ll cause trouble?”
“Heh, no need to worry.” The dark-haired one was amused by their argument and shook his head helplessly. “Its mirage needs negative energy support. I’ve made an agreement with it—from now on, Death Star will supply the negative energy it needs. In return, it’s willing to join us. Just like everyone else, I think its abilities deserve everyone’s trust!”
“Oh, my God. You’re talking about trust? Do you expect us to trust such a liar?” Bloodshot Eyes groaned and closed his eyes tightly. Of course he knew the dark-haired one’s decision couldn’t be changed, but accepting such a trickster who had deceived them all was psychologically unbearable for him.
Yet the little guy’s protests were even more intense.
“I’m not a liar! I’m great… Well, slightly less great than Boss Beck—Lord Ashen Earth!! I’m an artist!! I’m not a liar!! Please don’t describe such a noble being in such vulgar terms!!”
“Nonsense! Shut up!!” This time, it wasn’t just Bloodshot Eyes who responded to Ashen Earth—it was all the Blood Wolf Pirates. The little guy trembled, his face filled with grievance. His mouth twisted as he was on the verge of crying.
Just then, a warm hand touched his little head, and the dark-haired one’s voice sounded in his ear.
“Don’t be discouraged, little one. Our great Lord Ashen Earth won’t back down, will he? Trust me, they don’t mean to be hostile toward you. It’s a test. You should stand tall and face any gaze bravely—whether it’s provocative or critical. One day, you’ll realize they’re the most reliable companions you can have, and they’ll become your pride.”

“But… but they…” The little one hid behind the dark-haired one, biting their lip tightly. Tears welled up in their eyes but wouldn’t fall.

“You just played a perfect trick on us with Mirage. It’s only natural for them to be a little distrustful, right? Ashen Earth, prove it with facts. You’re also their strongest ally—our great, brave, noble Lord Ashen Earth. Isn’t it time to back down?” The dark-haired one smiled, a rare tenderness in their expression. It was like a spring breeze, instantly filling Ashen Earth’s heart with something.

Nodding firmly, the little one straightened their neck. “Alright, since Boss Baker says so, then I, the great one, will prove myself with my abilities!”

“Really, Boss? You’re really going to accept it?” Seeing this, Blood Eyes was completely stunned. Staring blankly at the screen, they saw the other party make a face at them, causing them to lose all enthusiasm.

“Alright, Boss. Your decision is our will. But I must state upfront—if we’re divided into groups, don’t put me with it. I’m afraid I’ll get lost before even seeing the enemy.”

“Us too!” The other pirates said in unison.

“Hehe, okay. I get it. If we’re divided, Ashen Earth will be with me. Is that acceptable to everyone?” The dark-haired one smiled. Reaching out, they pushed the control lever, and the Killing Emperor immediately adjusted its posture, diving headfirst toward the planet below.

Above Hahatuul Planet, a meteor shower suddenly appeared—a spectacular sight of meteors plummeting from the sky like blades tearing through the heavens. Their brief flashes vanished quickly, followed by deafening booms. Hundreds of craters, large and small, appeared on the planet’s surface.

Yet in such a fierce battle, the appearance of craters was nothing unusual. After each bombardment, the existing craters would be leveled, and new ones would form. Who would pay attention to the consequences caused by these meteorites? Of course, no one would notice the sudden canyon that appeared on the planet’s surface either.

The canyon wasn’t large, but it was long, narrow, and winding, as if naturally formed. But if someone were to observe it from the side at that moment, they would see that some fragmented meteorites were shedding their outer shells at the bottom of the canyon, revealing the cold metallic glow beneath.

“Well, I admit this little thing does have some skills. But I still don’t like being in the same group as it.” Blood-Eyed cursed as he removed his disguise and looked up at the sky above. There, countless beams of energy were flashing, with the battle raging as fiercely as before. Beside him, the Blood Wolf pirates were quickly getting ready, with a group of giant humanoid figures assembling at the bottom of the canyon. In less than a moment, they had formed a long line.
“Let’s go…” Black-Haired looked at his subordinates behind him, filled with pride. Then he glanced at the little thing beside him in the cockpit. “Now, Ashen Soil, extend your canyon to that coordinate… Our disguise depends on you!”
“No problem!” The little thing puffed out its chest proudly, picked up a small piece of negative energy crystal, and bit into it right away…
