Chapter 2: Seizing the Ship (Part 2)

Thousands of flames swirled around Qi Wu Zhen, standing out sharply in space and appearing extremely magnificent. Naturally, they attracted countless stares and attacks. These flames could not only kill but also block attacks, displaying endless versatility. Everyone who saw Qi Wu Zhen was deeply shocked; if they survived, they would never forget such a sight—her abilities far exceeded what humans could achieve.

As she continued to fly, more flames emerged from her body. Initially all red, other colors gradually appeared as well. Though there were only a few hundred flames, each in a different color, seven purple flames were particularly dazzling. These seven flames sank beneath her feet, forming a circular ring that spun rapidly, spewing sparks.

On the space battlefield, many eyes were fixed on Qi Wu Zhen—she was simply too striking. In such a short time, she had already reached the vicinity of a mothership-class heavy starship. Her goal from the start had been clear: destroy this massive ship. Its attacks were incredibly powerful; if it hadn’t been impossible to lock onto it, it would have severely damaged the seven of them long ago. Such a huge threat had to be eliminated immediately.

The heavy starship tried its best to accelerate, but no matter how fast it went, it couldn’t match Qi Wu Zhen’s speed. Countless warriors tried desperately to stop her, but they couldn’t slow her down. In an instant, she crashed straight into the alloy hull of the starship, disappearing inside and leaving behind a huge hole.

Guo Shier and Seraphine used teleportation several times to appear on the starship’s retreat route, where they collided with a supply ship. This ship, already at the back, had turned around to retreat. It had no defenses except for a few attack planes and dozens of armed warriors, posing no threat at all to Guo Shier. He swung his moon blade and slashed through the ship’s bow in an instant.

With one strike, the supply ship was disabled, and the attack planes and warriors fled in panic. Guo Shier, unwilling to deal with these insignificant foes, turned and rushed toward another starship—a large communication ship that served as the hub of the entire fleet, where all kinds of information were exchanged and relayed. Surrounding this communication ship were four smaller guardian ships, which immediately tried desperately to block Guo Shier’s advance.

Guo Shier laughed coldly. He approached a small starship and slapped the Soul-Calming Cauldron hard, sending out shockwaves that spread outward in visible ripples. Anyone touched by these waves had their souls stripped away instantly, dying silently. Even with its sturdy metal hull, the starship couldn’t withstand such a terrifying attack, and everyone inside died immediately. Uncontrolled, the starship rushed straight forward.

Another slap was delivered; his rune-covered palm swelled dramatically before striking the ship’s bow with force. The starship was deflected and crashed into the communication ship. Still unsatisfied, Guo Shier slapped the ship’s stern as well. The small starship, like an arrow released from a bow, instantly collided with the communication ship, its bow piercing through the middle of it in an instant.

Guo Shier teleported to another escort ship and used the same method, causing that ship to also crash into the communication ship. After being hit twice in quick succession, the communication ship burst into sparks and arcs of electricity. With a glance, Guo Shier realized it was completely disabled. Ignoring it, he turned to another medium-sized starship.

The fleet was thrown into chaos by the seven men’s brutal tactics, with starships fleeing frantically. No one dared to continue fighting these seven monsters; everyone wanted to escape as far as possible. Such a battle was impossible to sustain—they had no effective means of attack and could only take hits passively, but no one wanted to die. Space became a mess, with many starships accelerating within their formations recklessly, leading to numerous collisions.

The seven men launched fierce attacks, and soon the entire fleet was paralyzed. Numerous armed soldiers fled toward Liewen Star. In space, they were almost helpless, and even inside their starships they weren’t safe. Many soldiers jumped out of their ships—not to fight the seven men, but to escape toward the nearest Liewen Star.

The largest mothership-class heavy starship became a prominent torch in space. Some of its occupants escaped, while others abandoned the ship on the captain’s orders. Most of the officers died burned inside the cabin.

As the command ship of the fleet, this mothership-class heavy starship was destroyed by Qi Wu Zhen, collapsing the fleet’s command structure. The new commander hadn’t even taken office for a minute when his large starship was smashed to pieces by Li Ran. The command cabin at the bow collapsed under a single slap, and the unlucky commander happened to be there—crushed flat by the collapsing cabin.

The third commander had an even worse fate. He had just ordered the abandonment of the ship when, before he could take over, the entire starship exploded. A large fleet of hundreds of thousands aboard was utterly defeated by just seven people; no one could have imagined such an outcome. The seven, including Li Ran, were also struggling—continuous attacks had drained a great deal of their altar energy and accumulated spirit power, which was difficult to replenish in the Greater World. So after venting their anger for a while, they began to attack more cautiously, avoiding using their powerful ultimate moves, as they didn’t know what kind of enemies might be ahead and needed to save some strength.

Guo Shier took control of a smaller starship and immediately sent signals to gather everyone together. There was no need to fight anymore; continuing would have meant pure slaughter, and he had little interest in killing those who didn’t resist.

A moment later, everyone gathered on that starship. Li Ran asked, “Shier, why did you call us here?”
Guo Shier smiled and said, “Elder brother, are you addicted to killing? We should leave. This fleet is already doomed. There’s no point in killing more. They’re just weaklings—no need to waste energy.”
Qi Wu Zhen lazily sat down. She glanced around; the officers standing around all looked pale, staring at her as if she were a deity. They couldn’t understand how one person could possess such immense power, easily dealing with a starship and resisting attacks from various weapons.
Qi Wu Zhen seemed to enjoy it greatly, clearly seeing the fear in those officers’ hearts.
Li Ran said, “Then forget it… Let’s go. We got angry at those bastards just now.”
Cecilin asked softly, “Shier, what do you mean by ‘bastards’… What kind of eggs are those?”
Guo Shier couldn’t help but laugh. He said, “It’s nothing. It’s local slang where we use it to insult people.”
Cecilin said, “Oh…”
Kumu said, “We can leave now. You… can control the starship and get out of here!”
The group of starship officers immediately got to work. They didn’t dare resist at all. If the opponents had been ordinary people, even if they wore star armor, they wouldn’t have been this scared. But these people were beyond provoking—the gap in strength was too huge, leaving no chance of resistance. The opponents could kill them all with just one finger. So they obediently controlled the starship and flew away.

The space around them grew increasingly chaotic as one spaceship after another caught fire from within, with the flames spreading gradually. Thick smoke was sucked into space, forming strange trails, while countless metal fragments and bodies wrapped in armor floated around.

The spaceship moved cautiously, pushing aside debris from time to time as it gradually moved toward the edge of the fleet. An officer said, “Reporting to my lord, we’ve made it out.”

Li Ran sneered and said, “Good. Let’s head to the capital planet of the United Spirit Kingdom!”

The spaceship commander was shocked and stammered, “This… this… my lord, we’re just small ships. We can’t go that far. We have no supplies… and not enough energy!”

Guo Shier smiled and said, “Not enough energy? That’s easy to fix. What kind of energy do we need? I’ll go get it!”

The spaceship commander was drenched in sweat. Guo Shier impatiently asked, “Go on, what supplies and energy do we need?”

An officer stepped forward and said, “We need Type 2 energy blocks. Type 3 would be even better. Also, various supplies, including food.”

Guo Shier said, “Bring me a Type 3 energy block to take a look.”

Soon, an officer brought over a Type 3 energy block—a palm-sized metal box containing a matchbox-sized block with a light blue color. He said, “This is a Type 3 energy block. This is a Type 2 energy block…” He took out another block, this one dark green in color, and said, “A Type 2 energy block… its efficiency is two to three times lower than that of a Type 3 block.”

Guo Shier asked, “Where are these energy blocks usually stored on a spaceship?”

The officer replied, “In the storage compartment, next to the power chamber, near the rear…” He opened the spaceship’s map, pointed to several locations, and added, “Actually, there are plenty of energy blocks on the supply ship.”

Guo Shier said, “Wait a moment!” He vanished in an instant. The officer stared at him in horror, looking like an idiot. This time, Serichlin didn’t follow. She said, “It’s strange at first, but get lost!”

The officer kept wiping his sweat and stepped back quickly, still wondering how that man had disappeared so suddenly.

A moment later, Guo Shier returned, holding a pouch of talismans. He asked, “Who is the supply officer?”

The officer who had stepped back earlier stepped forward and said, “It’s me…”

Guo Shier said, “Take me to the storage compartment.”

The officer didn’t dare ask further and led Guo Shier to the storage compartment, which was already half empty. Guo Shier took out the talisman bag and made a slight movement, and a pile of Type-3 energy blocks appeared on the ground. He said, “Send someone to sort them!” And another pile of Type-3 energy blocks appeared on the ground.
The officer was completely stunned. He had never seen any spatial equipment in his life and had no idea where these energy blocks came from.
