Chapter 7: Beauty (Part 1)

Ezek’s home was deep in the mountains. Along the way, Guo Shier found several advanced mutated talisman beasts. When they sensed Ezek’s soul fluctuations, they all cowered fearfully on the ground, giving up resistance, and only fled desperately after the fluctuations passed.
Everyone was amazed, realizing that this guy had already tamed all the mutated and aberrant talisman beasts on the continent. No wonder he could emit soul fluctuations so freely.
A few days later, they entered a vast valley filled with countless tall ancient trees. Though not as huge as the one Guo Shier had acquired, these trees were still over a thousand meters tall, slightly taller than ordinary hills. The valley was quite large, covering several hundred square kilometers, with an open grassland in the center where Ezek led them down.
There was also a fire pit on the open ground, similar to the one in the cave, with a ball of talisman fire floating above it. Everything around was silent; neither other mutated talisman beasts nor Ezek’s so-called beautiful spouse could be seen.
Guo Shier joked, “Hey, Ezek, where’s your beautiful… that spouse of yours?”
Ezek had a very good impression of Guo Shier, thanks to that delicious meal, and Guo Shier’s soul fluctuations were also quite good. Though not as wild and powerful as Ezek’s, they were purer and continuous. A faint howl echoed back. At first, they thought it was an echo, but soon they realized it was Ezek’s beautiful spouse. The howl was full of wildness, growing louder and more ferocious with each repetition.
Ezek grinned widely and said, “She’s here!”
A dark figure rushed down from a distant peak, causing everyone to frown slightly—its speed was too fast.

A fierce figure appeared before them.
Everyone was stunned. Was this really Ezek’s so-called beautiful spouse?

Guo Shier felt that this person was like a tyrannosaurus—besides two pale thighs, she had a thick tail to support her body. On either side of her broad forehead were two long horns as white as jade. She had thick eyebrows, sunken eyes with red pupils, and a large mouth featuring four sharp fangs that protruded from her lips. Her arms were thick, and her physique was no less impressive than Ezekiel’s. She had six distinct abdominal muscles, and her pectoral muscles were two round, powerful masses. She was nothing short of a human beast, covered in ancient runes. She roared at Ezekiel in a language no one could understand.

Ezekiel smiled broadly and stepped forward to hug her, but she slapped him away. Then she turned to look at the others, her red eyes moving constantly, giving off an extremely dangerous vibe. She said awkwardly, “Are they… the people… humans you mentioned?”

Ezekiel replied repeatedly, “Yes, yes, they are humans.”

The beautiful companion sized up everyone before saying, “Very… strong, very powerful… I like it!”

No one could speak. This woman wasn’t entirely human, let alone beautiful. But she had another kind of beauty—extreme wildness.

Ezekiel continued to grin widely. Guo Shier asked carefully, “What’s her name?”

This was important. Having a name meant she was human, perhaps less barbaric. Ezekiel understood this and said, “Help me… give her a name!”

Halechi volunteered, saying, “I’ll do it.” To emphasize his importance, he took on this seemingly easy task.

The beautiful companion and Ezekiel immediately focused on Halechi. Ezekiel said, “Good, you do it!”

Halechi was excited, feeling valued. He suggested, “How about… Beauty?”

Guo Shier’s legs turned weak, and she almost fell. Everyone stared at Halechi in shock—how stupid could one be to come up with such an irrelevant name?

“Haha, hahaha! Hahaha! I like it, Beauty, Beauty!”

Ezekiel laughed heartily and exclaimed joyfully.

No one objected. Since Ezekiel approved, who would bother to disagree? That nonsensical name became Ezekiel’s wife’s name.

Meili stared at Halechi, a hint of shyness in her crimson eyes. She said, “This man… is handsome!”
Everyone widened their eyes. What did that mean? Halechi was even more confused, completely unable to understand what this barbaric woman meant. He stared at her peach-colored eyes, looking utterly innocent, thinking to himself, “Handsome? I’m handsome? But I’m a man… a professional. What does that have to do with being handsome?”
Ezek looked at his wife in confusion, also not understanding what she meant, and asked, “What do you mean, handsome?”
Meili stepped forward to Halechi, reached out to touch his face, smiled, showed her four canines, and said, “I like you…”
Guo Shieru’s legs gave way as he collapsed to the ground. Li Ran stepped back two steps, while Zhen Wuji and Ge Ha were stunned. Yao Zebusong stared at Halechi, his expression unreadable—part sympathy, part schadenfreude, and part confusion. Qi Wuzhen’s mouth was slightly open, showing surprise.
Ezek immediately roared, shouting, “Stupid woman, you belong to me!”
Meili slapped Ezek across the face and also roared, “I like who I like! I don’t need your permission! Hah… hah!”
Guo Shieru thought, “Oh my god… what a fierce woman…”
Halechi’s face turned pale. This woman likes me? Just kill me! I like Xiao Zhenzhen, not you barbaric woman! Just because they named you Meili doesn’t mean you’re really beautiful. His mind was in chaos.
Ezek rushed forward, slapped Meili hard, and roared, “Stupid woman, you’re my woman!” Then he turned to Halechi, grabbed him, and shouted, “She’s my woman!”
Halechi was at a loss for words. He could even see Ezek’s tongue moving around in his big mouth. He said, “Your woman… of course she’s your woman. No one’s going to take her from you!” He thought to himself, “I’d rather find a pig than your woman… Can that even be called a woman?”
Ezek pushed Halechi hard, then rushed back to Meili and shouted, “Did you hear that, woman? You’re mine!”
Slap…
Meili slapped him back, and the two immediately started fighting.
Li Ran calmly said, “Let’s move aside and let them fight!” Everyone immediately flew into the air and stepped back. These two were extremely powerful; getting involved would mean suffering. In the blink of an eye, the area was cleared.

Ezek roared as he swung his massive fists, delivering fierce blows that made Meili scream in pain. He cursed the whole time, “Stupid woman, stupid woman! Will you give in? Will you?”
Suddenly, Meili’s tail lifted and lashed out with a swish.
Whoosh…
There was a loud sound as the tail sliced through the air. Ezek reached out with his big hand, and thud—her tail hit his palm. He grabbed it tightly and then flung it away. Meili tumbled through the air dozens of times before crashing into an ancient tree, which collapsed with a loud noise. She roared in fury, fangs bared and eyes blazing, ready to fight to the death.
“I’m going to eat you!”
In a flash, a dark shadow appeared—Meili had already pounced on Ezek’s back and bitten his shoulder. Blood gushed instantly, causing Ezek to scream in agony.
Halechi stared blankly, muttering to himself, “Damn it… this woman… she’s so violent…”
Guo Shier and the others knew that though the two were fighting fiercely, it was just a trivial scuffle—not a real life-or-death struggle. Guo Shier sighed and said, “Fighting is affection, scolding is love…” He glanced at Halechi.
Halechi, who was in a sensitive state, immediately retorted, “Why are you looking at me?”
Guo Shier smiled and said, “If you weren’t looking at me… how would you know I’m looking at you? Halechi, Meili likes you—it has nothing to do with me. Don’t take it out on me.”
Halechi instantly deflated like a punctured balloon. Watching Meili and Ezek fight violently, with the loud thudding sounds of punches hitting flesh, made him feel as if his own flesh was hurting.
Yao Zebusong laughed heartily. He said, “Halechi, not bad, young man. Even a woman likes you. Haha, you should feel honored!”
Halechi’s almond-shaped eyes turned red with anger. He wailed inwardly, “I don’t want such a violent woman, even if she’s given to me for free. I want Xiao Zhenzhen…” But he didn’t dare shout it out—Qi Wuzhen could kill him with just one slap.
He sneaked a glance and saw Qi Wuzhen floating quietly in the air, her cold gaze sweeping downward. Instantly, he felt much better. Just one glance could calm his chaotic soul—that was the kind of beauty he wanted.
Ezek held Meili tightly and roared, “Stupid woman, calm down!”

Everyone could see that Aizek cared a lot about Beauty. Although the fighting was intense, with this woman’s thick skin and strong body, he couldn’t hurt her at all. Though it was a lively fight, it was harmless and posed no real danger. After all, Aizek was extremely powerful; once he exerted his strength, Beauty would have no chance and would be pinned tightly to the ground by him.
Beauty shouted, “Let go!”
