Chapter 7: Women as Disasters (Part 2)
Luo Zhan’s head ached as another barrage of blows rained down. “So what if I hit you?” he snapped.
The guy still repeated the same words: “Dare you hit me?” Luo Zhan went berserk. He had never met such an idiot before. With a swift motion, he pulled out a dagger and stabbed it into the man’s buttock. “If you dare say that again, I won’t just hit you—I’ll kill you!”
Two more stabs, one on each buttock. It was effortless. Then he heard the guy screaming in pain. Luo Zhan pointed the dagger at his eyes. “Answer whatever I ask. One wrong answer, and I’ll gouge out your eyes. Two wrong answers, and both eyes will be gone. Three wrong answers… and your nose will follow. Don’t worry, there are many parts of your body. I’ll take my time cutting them off.”
Guo Shier couldn’t help but exclaim, “Damn, Uncle Luo! I just realize… you’re pretty violent too.”
Huo Fentian asked curiously, “What does ‘Damn’ mean?”
Guo Shier was stunned. He had blurted it out instinctively—it was a phrase from his past life. He said, “It doesn’t mean anything special. It’s just an exclamation to show surprise. It’s not an insult.”
Huo Fentian said, “Damn!”
Guo Shier’s face turned dark. It wasn’t a big deal when men said it, but coming from a beautiful woman, it sounded awkward no matter how you heard it.
Eagle Demon said, “Damn!” Then added, “I like it. No wonder Shier likes to say it.”
Luo Zhan asked, “Do you understand now?” The man nodded frantically in fear. Two stabs weren’t scary; they could be healed quickly with magic pills. But having one’s eyes and nose gouged out couldn’t be fixed with magic pills.
“What’s your name?”
The man, with tears, snot, and blood streaming down his face, mumbled through his cries, “Shui… Shui… Shishui…”
Luo Zhan frowned. “Shui Shui Shishui? What the hell is that for a name? Are you trying to fool me?”
Shishui was sweating profusely in fear. “No, no… it’s… Shishui…”
By then, many of the professionals sitting on the second floor had already slipped away quietly. Guo Shier knew they were going to fetch reinforcements. He didn’t stop them because he needed to find the local professional families to obtain information about the secret realms and coordinates around the Thousand Lakes Continent. Only when their skilled members arrived could he ask questions. These low-level disciples weren’t worth the trouble.
Luo Zhan sneered, “How the hell did your mother give you such a name? It’s so lame and ugly!”
Shishui argued softly, “It was my father who gave me the name…”
Luo Zhan glared and said, “Your father is even worse!”
Pfft!
Guo Shier couldn’t help but laugh. He realized that the usually honest Luo Zhan didn’t seem so honest after all, and his words were also sharp and cruel.
Shui Shi Luo pleaded, “Please let me go… I was wrong… I won’t dare do it again…”
Luo Zhan was stunned. He hadn’t expected Shui Shi Luo to beg for mercy. He was cold on the surface but kind at heart, preferring soft approaches over force, so when Shui Shi Luo begged, it became hard for him to act harshly.
Guo Shier said from the side, “Uncle Luo, I bet if someone from his family came, he’d change his attitude right away. Do you believe it?”
Luo Zhan thought for a moment and nodded. “I believe it. He’s just a spoiled brat.”
Shui Shi Luo, thinking the other person would kill him, screamed in terror, “Help! I don’t want to die!”
Guo Shier smiled bitterly. “He’s completely inexperienced. Tell him to shut up.” He knew well that such people usually relied on their family’s protection to do as they pleased in their own territory, gradually developing an arrogant attitude. Such people existed everywhere, so he wasn’t surprised at all.
A rune appeared in Luo Zhan’s palm as he slapped it on Shui Shi Luo’s mouth, instantly rendering him speechless.
Eagle Demon shouted, “Is the boss here? Why hasn’t the food and drinks arrived yet?”
The boss, an ordinary man, came over nervously with a few assistants, carrying the cooked dishes and several pots of honey-purple wine. In fact, the dishes had already been prepared, but the chaos upstairs made it impossible for him to bring them up even if he had the courage.
He placed several large plates at the low table—roasted meat, boiled meat in plain water, some sauces, and five pots of honey-purple wine.
The boss didn’t dare speak. After setting everything down, he bowed and quickly retreated with his assistants.
Guo Shier picked up one of the wine pots. It was quite small, about the size of a teapot from his past life. But he soon noticed that there was a very simple hidden rune inside. Although the pot wasn’t large, it could hold around ten pounds of wine. No wonder only five pots were served.
There were five shallow dish-shaped bowls on the table. After pouring wine into them, Guo Shier said, “Everyone, give it a try.” He took a sip and smacked his lips. “It’s so sweet… Damn, it’s too sweet, like honey, very fragrant… But there’s hardly any wine flavor. This can’t be called wine; it’s more like honey sauce.”
Huo Fen Tian took a graceful sip, showing a hint of surprise on his face. He said, “The taste is good. I like it.”
Nan You said, “I like this sweetness too. Hehe, it feels great. Guo Shier, bring me another bowl.”
Guo Shier replied, “Pour it yourself! The taste is indeed good, but it can’t be called wine. If treated as wine… this stuff is far from it… I have strong liquor I brewed myself. Hehe, that’s real wine.” He took out a bottle of liquor. It was brewed and refined in his spare time, stored in his talisman storage space. It was standard strong liquor with an alcohol content of at least 60 degrees, made from Jingming rice and enhanced with some rare plant spices.
As soon as the bottle was opened, the aroma filled the table—true liquor scent.
Luo Zhan suddenly stepped on him and shouted, “Where are you looking?”
Shui Shi Luo let out a muffled groan. With his mouth sealed, he couldn’t even scream. The kick left a large shoe print on his face. No wonder Luo Zhan was furious—this guy was still drooling at Huo Fen Tian at such a moment. He might not fear her, but Guo Shier and the others were terrified. If they angered Huo Fen Tian and provoked her to start a massacre, things would get terrible.
Shui Heng Liu’s eyes seemed to sprout fire, but he dared not resist and could only whisper, “Young master, don’t be impulsive.”
Guo Shier ignored them. He poured a bowl of liquor to drink himself, but it was snatched away by Eagle Demon, who drank it all in one gulp. That bowl contained nearly half a pound of strong liquor. Eagle Demon exhaled and said with a smile, “Don’t be stingy. I like this liquor too.”
Huo Fen Tian reached out and said, “Give me a bottle.”
Guo Shier muttered, “Women should drink less… Hmm, here you go!” Seeing Huo Fen Tian’s eyebrows furrow, he immediately handed over a bottle without hesitation. If she wanted to drink, he’d give it to her—there was no need to anger her over such a small amount of liquor.
Huo Fen Tian picked up the bottle. This specially crafted crystal bottle, enhanced by talismans, could hold over ten pounds of strong liquor. She was generous—she grabbed the bottle, tilted her head back, and took a big gulp, then swallowed it and shouted, “It’s so spicy!”
Puff!
A flame shot out of her mouth. Huo Fen Tian patted her chest and said, “I like it!”
Gulug, gulug…
To everyone’s astonishment, Huo Fen Tian drank an entire bottle of strong liquor in one go. Guo Shier couldn’t help but sigh bitterly. Such a fierce woman was truly rare.
Huo Fen Tian grinned and said, “Another bottle!”
Guo Shier replied, “Drink less… I don’t have much liquor left.” He handed her another bottle. In fact, he had plenty more of this strong liquor. It wasn’t that he was stingy and unwilling to give it, but he was afraid she might get drunk and cause trouble. If Huo Fen Tian started causing chaos, no one here could stop her.
Huofentian was very graceful this time; she poured a bowl of wine and began to drink it slowly.
Guo Shier’s expression changed slightly as he said, “They’re here… many professionals.”
Huofentian took a sip of wine and smiled, saying, “To be precise… there are 172 professionals, including one Virtual Altar and 20 Great Saints. Hmm, this wine is really good.”
Professionals from the Gushui family flew in through the window, while others rushed up the stairs. Soon, they surrounded Guo Shier and his group, radiating a murderous aura.
But when those professionals saw Huofentian’s face, they were all stunned. There were few colorists among professionals, but that didn’t mean they had no interest in women. They weren’t interested in ordinary women, except for those exceptionally beautiful—Huofentian’s appearance was absolutely stunning.
Guo Shier knew he couldn’t continue. With a cold snort, his soul surged violently, causing all the professionals present to tremble. Each of them felt as if a bomb had exploded beside their ears, leaving them frozen in shock.
Then, an altar rose above Guo Shier’s head. Eagle Demons and the others also raised their own altars. Only Huofentian watched smilingly. She poured another bowl of wine, though a sharp glint flashed in her eyes.
Four palm-sized altars spun wildly less than a foot above the four of them—a clear display of dominance.
The professionals were terrified. They had messed with the wrong people—four altar-level experts. For mid- to low-level professionals, altar-level experts could control their lives and deaths. No one would underestimate an altar-level expert, even if it was just someone with a Virtual Altar.
Guo Shier made his stance clear. Once an altar-level professional deployed their altar, it meant they were already on guard or preparing to attack. He, being an expert with two altars, said calmly, “Who’s in charge here? Come out!”
His powerful spiritual pressure suppressed the professionals completely, preventing them from resisting. The strongest among them was only an expert with a Virtual Altar—how could they compete with Guo Shier, who had a real altar?
An old man struggled to take a step forward. He said, “I’m from the Gushui family, Shui Jingyun. I’m in charge here.”
Shuishi Luo lay on the ground, his eyes filled with despair. He never expected there to be four altar-level experts among them. Only then did he truly feel fear.
Guo Shier asked, “Is this man from your family? His name is Shuishi Luo?”
Shui Junping nodded and said, “Yes, it’s someone from our family.”
Guo Shier nodded and said, “Hmm, this guy claims he wants to kill all the men among us and take the women away. What do you think?”
Shui Junping felt his scalp tingle. Although Tianshui City also had an ancient master-level expert, that old man had no idea about this matter. Even if he found out and rushed over, his group would already be under control. If a fight broke out, it would be his group that suffered. He had to respond, but he was stuck on how to answer. He hated Shui Shiluo deeply—this bastard caused trouble and wanted him to bear the consequences.
“Well… maybe it’s a misunderstanding.”
Eagle Demon grew annoyed and said, “Misunderstanding? Are you an idiot? Or do you have a pig’s head? Is your brain filled with paste or dog shit? Still calling it a misunderstanding? It’s a damn misunderstanding… And you brought so many people with you?”
Guo Shier couldn’t help but give a thumbs up. Eagle Demon usually preferred action over words, but he was impressed by how vicious his insults were this time.
Huo Fentian seemed to find it amusing. She giggled and repeated, “Brain filled with dog shit, hehe, well said.”
Shui Junping felt like he was about to explode. Since ascending to the Virtual Altar, this was the first time someone had cursed him so harshly right in his face. He said sternly, “This is the Guishui Family. Don’t think just because you’re altar-level experts, you can do whatever you want!”
Guo Shier laughed and said, “See? It’s not us who rely on family power. Hehe, I originally planned to be polite, but since you want to bully others with your power, then… fight me!” With that, he rushed at Shui Junping.
Eagle Demon and Luo Zhan laughed loudly and charged forward as well. Nan You sighed, “Another fight… Ugh, really…” Before he could finish speaking, he too rushed in.
Huo Fentian clapped her hands and laughed, “Great! Great!” Her two fair little hands kept clapping nonstop.
