Volume 4: Hidden Struggles, Chapter 102: The Master of Emotions
In the following days, under Wu Jing’s guidance, Chu Tianyu did not make a fuss. Instead, as arranged by Wu Jing, he met with several elders. At the same time, Chu Tianyu briefly explained the situation regarding the Black Dragon Energy. Wu Jing was astonished, constantly marveling at the intricacy of all things in the world!
Under his arrangement, Chu Tianyu went through all of Shaolin’s archives on the subject. Although there was no clear explanation for the Black Dragon Energy, other related knowledge and records greatly broadened his horizons. Especially since he already had a solid foundation in the esoteric teachings of the Yunmen sect, some of these records, taken alone, seemed unremarkable and hard to understand. But when combined, many problems were easily solved—something likely beyond Wu Jing and Chu Tianyu’s expectations…
After settling all matters in Shaolin, and under the persistent urging of Ouyang Ziyi and Li Rou, who called dozens of times a day, Chu Tianyu finally decided to return to school that very day.
So, with his senior brother Wu Jing and several elders reluctantly parting, and amidst the brothers Tiancai and Di Bao’s heartbroken cries, Chu Tianyu also shed tears in Shaolin!
It wasn’t for anything else—just the way those two brothers clung to him! One hugged his legs, the other his waist, and with every cry, their master would twist them harshly!
To outsiders, it was incredibly touching and bittersweet. One could hear cries like, “Ugh~~, Master, don’t go…”
“Ugh~~, Master, we can’t bear to part from you…”
A few sentimental old monks even used their wide sleeves to hide their tears, sneakingly wiping them away while sighing along with them!
But to Chu Tianyu, those two brothers were shouting, “Ugh~~, Master, don’t go… You deceived us! What’s this ‘vegetable and tofu’ nonsense? The food here is so awful!”
“Ugh~~, Master, we can’t bear to part from you… We miss your meat soup and grilled meat. Take us with you!”
The final scene was truly moving. At its climax, Wu Jing had to use Shaolin’s Eighteen Bronze Men Formation to pull Tiancai and Di Bao away from Chu Tianyu, allowing him to escape Shaolin secretly, covered in “wounds”…
…
When Chu Tianyu arrived at Ouyang Ziyi’s villa, exhausted and covered in “wounds,” Ouyang Ziyi looked at him without saying a word. She immediately rushed forward, hugged him tightly, and punched his chest with her small fists, expressing her longing!
And Chu Tianyu also tightly embraced Ouyang Ziyi, pressing a deep kiss on her rosy, charming cherry lips. It seemed as though that kiss melted away all of Ouyang Ziyi’s longing, worries, and anger, causing her to soften with breathless sighs against Chu Tianyu’s chest…
There was no conversation throughout the night—only the sweat of passionate exertion, repeated movements, joyful moans, and the man’s fierce roars!
In the early morning, Chu Tianyu woke up and, seeing Ouyang Ziyi sleeping soundly and exhausted, gently stroked her for a long time before quietly getting out of bed. Going outside, he breathed in the fresh air, feeling refreshed.
Suddenly, the soft sound of swords could be heard. Chu Tianyu drew his Panlong Soft Sword and began with the move “Chen Yi Chu Dian,” instantly entering a continuous flow of sword movements. Glorious light and sharp rays surrounded his body as he moved like a dragon, leaping up and down; from afar, it looked like a shimmering ball of light.
The speed of Chu Tianyu’s sword moves grew faster and more agile, and the energy he hadn’t fully exhausted the previous night gradually released through these movements, transforming into boundless sword energy that spread in all directions!
When the final move of this fierce sword sequence was executed, Chu Tianyu let out a soft cry of delight. The sense of satisfaction made his body, suspended in midair, fall like a feather, tracing a graceful arc before he sheathed his sword and ended the movement…
Suddenly, applause rang out—“Clap! Clap!” Ouyang Ziyi, wearing an apron and casual clothes with her hair loosely tied into a bun on top of her head, walked up to Chu Tianyu with a gentle smile, clapping her hands. She naturally placed her hands on Chu Tianyu’s left arm and asked in a dreamy, soft voice, “Wow, it’s beautiful! Tianyu, what’s the name of this sword technique? It feels so smooth, like flowing clouds—so captivating, almost unreal…”
Chu Tianyu sheathed his Panlong Sword and wrapped his arms around Ouyang Ziyi’s slender waist, saying, “Hehe, this technique is called ‘Flowing Clouds.’ It originated from the Hengshan Sword Style, and my master modified a few moves to create what it is now. There’s another similar technique, probably Emei’s ‘Mercury Flowing to the Ground,’ which has a similar charm!”
“Hehe, enough already, my passionate swordsman. It’s time to eat! Do you think I won’t get a chance to appreciate these moves in the future? Hmph, let me tell you—I want to learn them too…”
“Hehe, of course. What shall we eat for breakfast?”
“Sausage and eggs, plus a DVD of Xue Feifei’s concert…” Ouyang Ziyi replied absentmindedly, staring straight ahead.
Hearing this, Chu Tianyu immediately realized his attempt to deceive her last night had failed, and his mind was filled with regret… He ate breakfast in a state of agitation and restlessness! In fact, Ouyang Ziyi didn’t scold him much; she just listened calmly as Chu Tianyu explained everything in detail. The more she did this, the more guilty and uneasy Chu Tianyu became. He explained the situation at that time, his relationship with Xue Feifei later on, Xue Feifei’s background, and even cursed that damned lustful dragon repeatedly.
“Hmm, I believe you on this. I don’t care about what’s already happened. I just want to ask you—what feelings do you have for Xue Feifei? Do you love her?” Ouyang Ziyi asked directly.
Chu Tianyu looked into Ouyang Ziyi’s clear eyes, remained silent for a while, then awkwardly replied slowly, “I like her. I don’t know why, but you, her, and Li Rou… I want to have all of you…”
Although he told the truth, his voice grew weaker due to lack of confidence.
“Are you done eating?” Ouyang Ziyi asked lightly, putting down her dishes.
“Y-yes, I’m done!” Chu Tianyu replied blankly, having eaten nothing.
“Hehe, silly. Eat calmly. I’ll go change clothes. Come shopping with me this morning, and I’ll take you back to school this afternoon…” Ouyang Ziyi said before getting up to go inside.
“Ziyi, is this… question really over?” Chu Tianyu asked in disbelief.
“It is! What else do you want? I don’t ask for anything from you—just tell me the truth! Oh, idiot, you forgot to mention one person just now! Don’t you care about Qin Nianran?” Ouyang Ziyi said without turning around. By the time she said the last “?” her figure had already disappeared from the room.
Chu Tianyu was stunned on the spot and took a deep breath after a long while. He could only sigh in admiration and respect for Ouyang Ziyi: “Amazing! She’s truly a master of handling emotions—winning without using any tactics!”
At the same time, Chu Tianyu felt deeply wronged. He really hadn’t thought of Qin Nianran at that time. Just having all three of them already made him feel extremely fortunate, so he wasn’t uneasy at all!
So how could he dare mention Qin Nianran from the bottom of his heart at that moment? But now, after Ouyang Ziyi brought it up, Chu Tianyu unconsciously continued eating his sausage and eggs while lost in thought again…
It was only when Ouyang Ziyi stood in front of Chu Tianyu in a gorgeous outfit that he was awakened. His face turned red like a ghost, and he felt ashamed of his own recent lustful thoughts. He wondered silently how the Black Dragon’s energy, now dormant and no longer affecting him, could still stir such possessive desires in him—was the Black Dragon influencing him at a higher level?
After blaming the Black Dragon once again, Chu Tianyu finally stopped worrying about this issue!
“Tianyu, why do I feel like you’ve changed in appearance since you came back?” Ouyang Ziyi asked affectionately as she walked arm in arm with him.
“Oh, really? How? Where?” Chu Tianyu instinctively reached out to touch his face.
Ouyang Ziyi shook her head. “I can’t explain exactly. It’s just a feeling—that you seem calmer now, and your face isn’t as stern anymore. Hey, Tianyu, do you seem taller?”
Chu Tianyu guessed these changes were related to the Black Dragon and said, “It might be…” Before he could finish, Ouyang Ziyi took his hand and exclaimed, “Ah! Your skin is so soft, smooth, and elastic! What skincare routine did you use? It has such amazing results…”
As Ouyang Ziyi kept talking nonstop, Chu Tianyu was about to pass out from rolling his eyes—why did all women have this habit? Feifei was like this, and Ziyi too… Ugh…
……
When Chu Tianyu returned to school with the feeling of a wanderer returning home, he was extremely excited. The paths, the birch trees, and the familiar air everywhere filled him with emotion. Thinking about the days he had spent outdoors, enduring hardships in the mountains and forests, walking along desolate paths, and facing various obstacles, it felt like another world!
As soon as Chu Tianyu entered the dormitory, he was stunned to see a crowd of people—men and women—engaged in lively discussions.
“Ah, Tianyu!” Li Rou exclaimed first, noticing his arrival.
Then came cries of surprise from everyone, loud cheers, demands for punishment or rewards, and Bai Lei’s furious roars—instantly turning the entire dormitory into a frenzy!
An hour later, after being “treated” badly, Chu Tianyu’s face was covered in stickers, his nose swollen, as he sat by the bed, participating in the “May Day” holiday discussion organized by Bai Lei.
Bai Lei roared loudly and said, “Your suggestions are too childish. Who came up with them? A picnic by the North Sea? It’s nothing but a kindergarten field trip! Now, let me put forward a very creative idea: why not go to a sparsely populated place to take some risks, get up close with our lovely nature, experience camping in the wild, traverse deep mountains and vast marshes, walk along desolate paths, face difficulties and obstacles, and feel the true spirit of youth…” His passionate speech ignited enthusiasm in everyone. Just as they were about to agree in unison, there was a “bang~~” sound—Chu Tianyu foamed at the mouth and collapsed to the ground. At the same time, faint murmurs could be heard coming from his mouth: “Please, can I not go?”
