Chapter 003: In the Name of the Goddess
Looking in through the window, Lani seemed a bit thinner. Though she had lost a little weight, her magnificent breasts remained unchanged in size; instead, against her slimmer frame, they appeared even more full and prominent. Seeing those rarely seen curves among the elves, Du Fan’s heart immediately heated up. He immediately activated his domain skill and appeared behind Lani. Reaching out, he pressed his hands on her soft, full breasts. Instantly, the unique fullness of Lani’s breasts sent sensations through Du Fan’s nerves. In a moment of passion, he realized his own body was reacting strongly. Caught off guard by this sudden attack, Lani didn’t flinch at all. She kept her eyes closed but softly said, “Elder Du Fan, you’ve finally come to see me.”
“How did you know it was me?” Du Fan was confident his arrival hadn’t disturbed her, but from her words, it seemed she had known all along it would be him.
“Elder Du Fan, the Goddess has already told me you would come to see me today,” Lani said softly, opening her beautiful eyes.
“Damn that Nature Goddess,” Du Fan muttered inwardly. Of course, what he said out loud was different.
“Haha, baby, did the Nature Goddess tell you what I’m going to do to you?” Du Fan asked with a mischievous smile.
“The Goddess said whatever she decides, you can’t refuse,” Lani replied in a low voice, her face turning red.
“The Goddess is really kind!” Du Fan said with a laugh, unsure whether her words were true or not. As they spoke, he intensified his actions. Hearing Lani’s rapid breathing, he pulled her closer and pressed his lips to hers. Soon, the two were lost in passion.
…
“Lani, why don’t you come with me?” After their passionate encounter, Du Fan stroked her smooth, delicate skin.
“I really can’t, Du Fan. You know, I’ve been chosen as the Goddess’s representative—how could I leave the elf race?” Lani replied quickly.
XX, what goddess is that again? She’s annoying me. I’ll take care of that goddess of yours as well. After feeling satisfied, Du Fan thought to himself. Suddenly, he remembered that Bu Ze actually had a goddess-level woman, and Du Fan couldn’t help but swallow hard.
“No need to rush. My Nai Xiu will soon become a goddess-level expert too,” Du Fan kept comforting himself.
“Du Fan, you didn’t come to the elf realm just to see me, did you?” Lan Ling suddenly said.
“Of course I came to see you. Think about it—if I hadn’t come specifically to see you, I would have brought Nai Xiu along,” Du Fan said with a smile.
“Please don’t deceive me. Deceiving me is like deceiving the Goddess herself,” Lan Ling said with a rare sly smile.
Hearing Lan Ling’s words, Du Fan was stunned.
As the agent of the Nature Goddess among the elves, deceiving Lan Ling would indeed be tantamount to deceiving the Nature Goddess. But deep down, Du Fan would never admit to being a believer of the Nature Goddess.
“Hmm, there’s one more small matter. Chief Saito helped me cultivate a large number of a certain plant,” Du Fan said after hearing Lan Ling’s words.
“Hmm, entrusting it to the nature mages of the elves and using growth magic can indeed make plants grow rapidly,” Lan Ling replied. “What kind of plant is it? Can I take a look?”
“It’s this plant,” Du Fan quickly placed a flame grass in Lan Ling’s hands.
“It contains a large amount of fire elements. Du Fan, even with growth magic, it’s very difficult to grow such a plant,” Lan Ling said, frowning as she looked at the plant in her hands.
“That can’t be right. I saw Chief Saito grow it quickly,” Du Fan replied promptly.
“Chief Saito? Du Fan, you should know that Chief Saito is a domain mage of the elf nature school!” Lan Ling immediately analyzed for Du Fan.
“But Chief Saito has already agreed. I think it shouldn’t be a big problem,” Du Fan said after thinking for a moment.
“The problem might not be serious, but hard work is inevitable,” Lan Ling said with a smile. “Du Fan, are these plants really that important to you?”
“Yes, they’re extremely important,” Du Fan nodded firmly at Lan Ling’s question.
“Then let me help. Maybe I can be of some use,” Lan Ling said, looking at Du Fan.
“Lan Ling, isn’t your profession a priest?” Hearing Lan Ni say this, Du Fan was even more puzzled and asked.
“Mm, Du Fan, but you’ve forgotten—as the goddess’s representative on earth, I can borrow her divine power from the Nature Goddess,” Lan Ling said with a smile.
Du Fan took out the fireweed, and indeed there was a packet of its seeds inside. Lan Ling took the packet and picked a few seeds, placing them in her hand. Soon, a bunch of fireweed appeared in her hands.
“Wow, I didn’t expect you to really be able to do this,” Du Fan said in surprise as he watched Lan Ling conjure up a bunch of fireweed as if by magic.
“Let’s go, Du Fan. Let’s try it outside,” Lan Ling said to him.
Hearing this, Du Fan immediately stood up. After getting dressed, the two quickly ran outside.
On a piece of land at the foot of the ancient elf tree, Lan Ling threw a handful of fireweed seeds into the ground, closed her eyes, and began to chant. Soon, green light emanated from her body, spreading across the ground covered with fireweed seeds.
In no time, large patches of plants sprouted from the land where the seeds were scattered. This time, Lan Ling had spread many seeds. After about ten seconds, Du Fan roughly estimated that there must be around 300 pounds of fireweed!
Relying on the divine power borrowed from the Nature Goddess, Lan Ling had managed to grow hundreds of pounds of fireweed in just over ten seconds!
“Du Fan, why don’t I help you grow this fireweed too?” Lan Ni said with a smile.
“Great! How much of this fireweed can you give me in a month?” Du Fan asked immediately upon hearing her words.
“I think growing 30,000 to 50,000 pounds shouldn’t be a problem,” Lan Ling replied after thinking for a moment.
“That’s enough, Lan Ling. Just 20,000 pounds in a month will be sufficient,” Du Fan said, overjoyed at her answer.
Within a month, Du Fan quickly calculated that the fireweed provided by Saito could be used to produce around 300 pounds of explosives, while the amount provided by Lan Ling would allow him to produce nearly 700 pounds in a month. In total, he could produce over a thousand pounds of explosives in a month!
“Then, Lan Ling, I’ll have to rely on you a lot for these tasks!” Du Fan said hurriedly.
“If you want to thank someone, thank Princess Nature Goddess—after all, those divine powers were borrowed from her!” Lan Ling said with utmost devotion.
Seeing Lan Ling’s extreme piety, Du Fan secretly smiled.
Not bad, Du Fan thought. She’s even better at pretending to be a shaman than I am!
After finishing these matters, Du Fan and Lan Ling returned to their residence, spending an entire night together.
Being able to borrow the divine powers of the Nature Goddess was truly extraordinary! Du Fan mused. Thinking back to how he had repeatedly enjoyed Nayixiu’s bell sounds and even gone to those places for pleasure, here, Lan Ling alone satisfied him completely. It seemed that the self-repairing ability within the divine powers granted by the Nature Goddess was quite remarkable.
The next morning, as Du Fan prepared to leave, he suddenly remembered that his Life Spring water was running low. He turned around and rushed back to Saito, forcing him to give him two large barrels of Life Spring water.
Under the watchful eyes of Saito and Lan Ling, Du Fan piloted the Green Shuttle into the air and vanished swiftly into the horizon.
Seeing Du Fan’s fast flying vessel, Saito shuddered. If Elder Du Fan kept coming around from time to time to demand more barrels of Life Spring water, even the accumulated reserves of the elves might not be enough! Vaguely, Saito felt he didn’t want Du Fan to visit too often.
Meanwhile, Lan Ling watched as Du Fan’s Green Shuttle disappeared quickly, feeling excited. With such a fast means of transportation, would Du Fan visit her often? Thinking that Du Fan had come to the elves’ territory just to cultivate plants, he surely would visit her once a month to harvest the Fireflame Grass!
For the first time, Lan Ling smiled in satisfaction—not because of the Nature Goddess, but for something else!
Entering the Twilight Mountains, Du Fan flew along a specific route starting from the Skangacha Strait, heading toward his own territory.
Half an hour passed. Ahead, a swarm of griffins was flying hard.
These griffins had flown for nearly twenty hours, yet Du Fan covered that distance in just half an hour using the Green Shuttle.
As he got closer to the griffins, the images of them in his mind became clearer and clearer.
These griffins were under Du Fan’s control. Seeing the Green Shuttle above them, they showed no sign of panic and calmly flew straight in the direction Du Fan had predetermined.
It would take the dwarves a long time to travel from the Twilight Mountains to the Siluo Province. After flying for a day under such conditions, Du Fan and the griffins were gradually approaching his territory.
Given the griffins’ flying speed, it would take about five more hours to reach the city of Doha from here!
In Doha, there were still 1,800-level archers from the elf race stationed there. Seeing the strong bodies of the griffins below, Du Fan grew excited!
What power would archers from the elf race at level 8, riding on griffins, possess? Not only would their speed be greatly increased, but they could also attack enemies from the air without being restricted by terrain. Add to that the elf archers’ range of up to 2,000 meters! Such combat units could truly be described as terrifying!
A few hours later, the city of Doha appeared before their eyes.
“Alert! Alert! A large number of magical beasts are invading!” The soldiers on the city walls shouted loudly as they saw the overwhelming swarm of griffins.
“I am Lord Du Fan!” Seeing the soldiers shouting for alert, Du Fan quickly put away the Green Shuttle and called out loudly into the air.
