Chapter 017: A Small Matter

“Anything else?” Du Fan asked again.
“And also, I really like you!” Angel said, her eyes filled with an intense, almost deadly gaze.
Angel’s words left Du Fan stunned once more.
“Let’s say that! But I’m telling you clearly—if things continue like this, there will eventually be a conflict between me and your brother!” Du Fan said calmly.
“That’s impossible!” Angel exclaimed, widening her eyes. “Aren’t you your brother’s most trusted minister right now?”
“Maybe you don’t know this, but back in Odinburg, if it weren’t for your brother’s orders, how would Randy dare attack me? Moreover, Randy himself admitted that the attempt on my life in Odinburg was indeed instigated by your brother,” Du Fan said.
“I don’t care about your men’s politics. But Du Fan, if I were a woman, no matter who you conflict with, I’d stand by your side,” Angel said.
“Even if it’s your brother?” Du Fan asked again.
“Hmph! When has my brother ever treated me as a sister? He knew he wanted to harm you yet forced you to marry me. If he really saw me as a sister, would he do such a thing?” Angel said angrily.
“And Du Fan, why don’t you trust me? If I really wanted to harm you, would I risk myself like this?” In an instant, Princess Angel once again wore a tearful expression.
With these words, Du Fan’s doubts were completely dispelled.
If Angel really came to help Fisher spy on him, would she risk herself that much?
Unintentionally, Du Fan looked up again, and Angel’s snow-like, towering breasts came into view. With the sweet scent filling his nose and the stir in his heart from her words, Du Fan acted on impulse and wrapped his arms around her waist.
“You!” Angel struggled slightly under Du Fan’s embrace, but soon realized she had no chance of breaking free.
“Du Fan, what are you doing?” Angel asked, suddenly panicked.
Instead of calming him, her words sounded almost like a deliberate hint to Du Fan.
“What do you think? Hehe, didn’t you keep saying you wanted to be my woman?” Du Fan said with a mischievous smile.

“But! Not now! We’re not even married yet!” Angel said quickly.
“Anyway, your father has already arranged our marriage, haha. Consider it an early start!” Du Fan said with a smile.
“No!” Angel struggled a few more times in Du Fan’s arms.
Suddenly, Angel’s expression changed.
“You jerk, in such a hurry? Finish the soup first, then we can continue. Ugh, I worked so hard to make this snow clam soup, and you’ve only taken one sip!” Unable to break free, Angel immediately adopted a coquettish attitude and spoke in a playful tone.
When someone like Angel acted coquettishly, even Du Fan felt unable to resist!
“Come on, open your mouth! After we finish, we can play slowly!” Looking at Du Fan, Angel giggled and picked up another spoonful of the snow clam soup.
Hearing this, Du Fan obediently opened his mouth. After feeding him a sip, Angel suddenly sat on his lap. With that, Du Fan immediately felt something soft, warm, and sweet pressing against him. In that moment, his thoughts became restless.
Just as he was distracted, the figure in his arms vanished, and soon Angel stood at the door, smiling coquettishly.
“Oh, Du Fan, I’m so sorry. I’m really not ready yet!”
With that, Angel ran away in a flash, leaving Du Fan, frustrated, to smile helplessly at the snow clam soup still on the table.
…
“Rinne, why did you come back so soon?” Chenchen asked, looking at Rinne’s disappointed expression.
“Nothing, he’s still busy,” Rinne replied.
“If he’s busy, you should go in!” Chenchen said. “What’s there to be afraid of? Back in your barbarian tribe, in front of your father, you were already his official wife.”
“No, he’s busy. I saw him holding Princess Angel…” Rinne’s voice grew softer, and her face reddened.
It turned out that Rinne saw Du Fan working late into the night and had prepared some snacks for him. But from a distance, through the window, she saw Du Fan holding Angel. Naturally, she decided to back away first.
“That Du Fan! Come on, shall I go with you?” Chenchen said angrily.
“Aren’t you angry?” Rinne asked softly, seeing Chenchen ready to confront him.
“Angry? Why would I be angry?” Chenchen asked in surprise upon hearing Rinne’s words.

“Did you hear that Du Fan is with Angel? Aren’t you angry at them?” Ringtone asked cautiously again.
“I am angry! I’m furious! I really am furious! Come on, let me help you figure this out!” Chenchen grabbed Ringtone’s hand and led her outside.
“Hey, it seems like you’re really not angry! Does losing memory really mean forgetting everything?” Ringtone thought to herself as she was pulled by Chenchen.
Soon, Chenchen brought Ringtone to Du Fan’s door.
“Wow, you’re really fast.” Chenchen observed the details inside the room carefully.
“What are you talking about, Chenchen?” Du Fan said, puzzled by her curious look.
“Oh, nothing.” Chenchen quickly took in the room and spoke up.
“Well, Ringtone saw that you’ve been working late without resting, so she specially made some food for you. She didn’t dare deliver it herself, so I came with her.” Chenchen said with a smile.
“Ringtone, I’ve brought you here. I’ll go now.” Chenchen said with a smile before leaving in a flash, calling over her shoulder, “Du Fan, back in the barbarian tribe, you already took Ringtone as your woman. Hmph, with me here, I won’t let you bully her.”
“Ringtone? Did I bully you?” Du Fan said, feeling frustrated upon hearing Chenchen’s words.
“No, not at all!” Ringtone replied nervously as she looked at him.
“Hmm, what delicious food have you made? Bring it here for me to see,” Du Fan said.
Angel’s bowl of snow frog soup couldn’t even satisfy hunger, but hearing there was more food, Du Fan immediately perked up.
“Here, have some,” Ringtone said, blushing as she brought the food to Du Fan. Seeing her blush for no reason, Du Fan felt confused.
“It’s so late; sit down and eat with me,” Du Fan said, looking at her.
Without hesitation, Du Fan pulled Ringtone to sit beside him.
He originally just wanted to have her sit next to him, but perhaps because he pulled too hard, Ringtone stumbled forward and fell into his arms, pressing two extremely soft, round things against his chest.
With that pressure, Ringtone let out a soft moan, unsure whether it was from pleasure or pain.

This cry immediately sparked Du Fan’s endless fantasies, and in an instant, the anger stirred up by Angel flared up again. He wrapped his arms around Ringing’s waist, and his hands began to wander all over her body, causing her to gasp for breath. Du Fan smirked slightly, and with a flash of white light, both he and Ringing disappeared, leaving only the table full of food still steaming hot.

…

Soon, morning arrived. Seeing Ringing, who was still deeply asleep from the exhaustion of the previous night, Du Fan quietly got up, put on his clothes, and headed outside. After having breakfast, he went straight to look for Chenchen.

“Where’s Ringing?” Chenchen asked as soon as she saw Du Fan alone. It seemed the relationship between Chenchen and Ringing was quite close.

“She’s still sleeping. By the way, Chenchen, did you send me any news? Has the Bilu tribe of the dwarves arrived? Where are they stationed now?” Du Fan asked as soon as he saw her.

“Oh, they arrived the day before yesterday. They’re still in that temporary camp—the one you used to host the Black Panther Knights and the elves last time,” Chenchen replied.

“What plans do you have for them?” Du Fan asked immediately upon hearing this.

“Weren’t you already planning something?” Chenchen glared at him. “Didn’t you already agree with them to give them the mines so they could live there peacefully?”

“How do you know that?” Du Fan asked curiously. He had discussed this agreement with the Bilu tribe when Chenchen wasn’t even around.

“When we went to make arrangements, the people from the Bilu tribe refused to follow the plan, saying they had already reached an agreement with you. Hmph! Since you’ve already settled it with them, why didn’t you tell me? It’s made me look bad as the leader!” Chenchen said angrily.

“Ahaha, I’m really sorry about that,” Du Fan said with a smile seeing her reaction. “Is nothing serious wrong?”

“Well, nothing really serious. What could possibly go wrong? Those little dwarves can’t cause trouble in front of me,” Chenchen said coldly.

Hearing this, Du Fan’s heart skipped a beat. With such a tone, it was strange if nothing had happened.

“Really? Nothing at all?” Du Fan asked again.

“Hmph, it’s no big deal. I just gave those annoying little dwarves a lesson. Who asked them to keep calling me a fraud!” Chenchen said.
“You can’t just hit people!” Hearing Chenchen’s words, Du Fan immediately felt overwhelmed. With the dwarves’ fierce and irritable temper, if a woman like Chenchen hit them, it would definitely lead to a fight!
“I’ll go take a look first!” With that, Du Fan rushed off at top speed.
He headed straight to the grain depot in Doha City, loaded plenty of food into his space ring, and then hurriedly flew toward the home of the Bilu tribe, the dwarves’ clan.
From above, the more than 200,000 people in the Bilu tribe’s temporary shelters appeared somewhat crowded. These dwarves had arrived two days ago and had been resting there ever since.
Seeing the strange flying object in the sky, the warriors of the Bilu tribe grew nervous.
They had migrated here from the Twilight Mountains, and the hardships they faced along the way were imaginable.
