Chapter 001: The Supreme Temple

“The Supreme Temple, the Supreme Temple!” Du Fan kept repeating those words.
Damn, is it real or fake? This place is really the Supreme Temple! I’ve actually come to the Supreme Temple!
“That’s right, this is indeed the Supreme Temple! This is the place where the divine realm and the human realm meet. For easier management, the Supreme Being placed the Supreme Temple at the boundary between the two realms!” Gaia said.

Suddenly, Du Fan thought of another question: if this is indeed the Supreme Temple, then where has the Supreme Being gone?
“Where is the Supreme Being?” Du Fan asked immediately.
“The Supreme Being has been missing for one hundred thousand years,” Gaia replied with a sad expression.
The Supreme Being is missing!
Without time to be shocked, Du Fan asked right away, “How did he disappear?”
“It can’t really be called disappearance; it’s more like he never returned,” Gaia thought for a moment before continuing to answer.

“We merely live inside an egg?” Du Fan asked in confusion.
“Yes, that were the exact words of the Supreme Being. He said that what we exist in is just a giant egg. Inside the egg, the Supreme Being is omnipotent, but outside, he’s just an ordinary being,” Gaia said calmly.
“Even the Supreme Being couldn’t get out of the egg. It wasn’t until one hundred thousand years ago that he told me he had found a way out and decided to go outside to take a look. And after that, he never returned.” At these words, Gaia’s expression grew even sadder.

“Gaia, you old bastard! You fucking want to kill me! You should know that I’m the key to the Supreme God’s return. Damn it, if you keep treating me like this, I’ll never help bring back the Supreme God!” Du Fan suddenly started cursing violently.
“Haha, that’s exactly what I wanted!” Gaia laughed heartily.
Du Fan immediately felt his whole body relax; the overwhelming pressure dissipated, and everything returned to normal. But he was drenched in cold sweat!
Gaia’s cultivation level was truly extremely strong!
Du Fan could clearly sense that this first human created by the Supreme God had a cultivation level far higher than that of the Yang God, the so-called intermediate god!

“The Divine Essence is actually fragments of the Supreme God’s divinity!” Gaia said, narrowing her eyes.

“That’s right—fragments of the Supreme God’s divinity! The Divine Essence contains the most fundamental substances and powers of this Supreme God realm! Back then, when the Supreme God separated parts of his own divinity to create the twelve major gods, some of the purest components of his divinity were also torn away! Aside from a few that got scattered, I’ve collected most of these fragments!” Gaia continued, as if to say, “If you’re not shocked, I won’t stop.”
