Chapter 019: The First Human

The Supreme God’s experiences in creating the world gradually appeared on the reliefs. On the third relief, the Supreme God stood before a vast ocean, with a majestic mountain behind Him!
“On the second day, His Majesty the Supreme God created the oceans, lakes, rivers, as well as mountains, basins, plains, and all kinds of landforms!” Moses said.
As Moses spoke, Du Fan seemed to grasp something, but it was vague and unclarity.
“On the third day, His Majesty the Supreme God created all plants and animals,” Moses continued.
As if to verify Moses’ words, the next scene showed the Supreme God standing in what appeared to be a manor-like place. Inside, there were shady trees, lush grass, blooming flowers, and various animals happily surrounding the Supreme God!
“Brother, it’s exactly as you said!” Bashah exclaimed upon seeing this scene, confirming Moses’ words.
“Next, the Supreme God began creating intelligent beings,” Moses said with a smile.
Indeed, in the following scene, a group of humans began to appear around the Supreme God.
“That’s all recorded in our books. This is how this world came into being—the Supreme God created everything,” Moses said with a smile.
“It’s strange. Then how did the elves, dwarves, and orcs come about?” Du Fan asked curiously.
“Perhaps the answer lies here,” Moses replied.
But as they walked further, they found nothing left in the passage. The records in this passage turned out to be the same as those in the books said to have been left by the Nature Goddess regarding the elves. Fortunately, the passage wasn’t very long. After walking a few more minutes, it reached its end.
At the end was a huge hall!
In front of the hall was a high staircase, and on top of the stairs was a broad platform. On the platform, a blazing fire burned brightly—flames that were actually white! A towering white flame!
“What kind of fire is that?” Bashah asked, standing at the entrance to the hall and staring at the blazing white flames.

“That’s the Holy Fire! The legendary Holy Fire that can purify everything!” Du Fan said seriously, staring at the pool of white flames. From those white flames, he could sense an explosive power of light! It was exactly like the Holy Fire he had heard about!
It was said that among those heretics, some had reached a level so high they could touch the heavens! Ordinary flames couldn’t cause any harm to such heretics, and that’s when the Holy Fire had to be used. In such cases, the temple would employ the Holy Fire to purify the heretic! Even though the entire temple possessed it, the Holy Fire itself was only the size of a palm.
Legends said that the temple also had a palm-sized pool of Holy Fire, and it was this very small amount that once purified the soul of a god-tier expert! If this pool of Holy Fire were brought to the temple, it would surely drive those old fools crazy! That’s what Du Fan thought.
Just looking at the furnace, it was already about ten meters tall and four to five meters wide. How much Holy Fire could such a huge furnace hold? After all, those flames were said to be eternal!
Below the steps, there were two rows of columns, six on each side, making a total of twelve!
“You’ve finally arrived?” A senile voice suddenly spoke.
That voice carried an indescribable sense of vicissitudes, as if one had reached the end of the world, to its very origin.
“But you shouldn’t have brought so many people!” the voice continued.
“But these are all my companions,” Du Fan replied. Hearing that voice, he knew instantly that whoever was in this grand hall must be a god-tier expert, and certainly not the lowest rank of god! So, in his tone, Du Fan still showed respect.
As soon as Du Fan said this, everyone around him turned to look at him strangely.
“Du Fan, who are you talking to?” Nai Xiu asked curiously.
“Did none of you hear it? A very old voice?” Du Fan also asked the others in surprise.
“No! What voice did you hear?” Nai Xiu asked the others.
“We didn’t hear anything.” “None of us heard anything.”
The others shook their heads one after another.
“Kid, there’s no need to ask. The others can’t hear my voice. Only you can hear it,” the senile voice continued.

“I think I’d better send them away first. There are some things they’d better not know,” the aged voice continued.
As soon as those words were spoken, Du Fan’s vision blurred. The others had all disappeared.
“Where are they? How did they all vanish?” Seeing that everyone else was gone, Du Fan shouted in panic.
“Kid, shouting at an old man like this is very impolite,” the voice continued.
With those words, a person suddenly stepped out from behind the huge furnace.
“Who are you?” Du Fan asked in shock upon seeing this person appear.
“I’m a person, just like you. I’m merely a person,” the person said with a smile.
This person had a beard several feet long, and both his hair and beard were already gray. He was dressed in a gray robe that, though gray, was extremely clean.
“I am the first human in the world. My name is Gaia,” the person introduced himself.
“I also have another identity—I am a servant of the Supreme God,” Gaia said.
“A servant of the Supreme God!” Du Fan was utterly shocked!
What kind of status could a servant of the Supreme God have? And what kind of status could the first human in the world have? Such statuses meant that even the twelve major gods of the heavens might feel inferior in front of him!
“That’s right. I am indeed a servant of the Supreme God. Since I was the first human created by the Supreme God, I have followed Him ever since my creation, and thus became His servant,” Gaia said with a smile.
“Kid, earlier, when you saw those reliefs, you felt like you hadn’t seen them all, right? Now, I’ll let you continue to see them!” Gaia smiled slightly and waved his hand.
As Gaia waved his hand, Du Fengna was instantly drawn up to the steps.
“Look there,” Gaia said.
After those words, a huge image appeared on the wall opposite them!
This image was not like what Du Fan had seen in the passage—it was filled with a sense of impending disaster!
It was a grand depiction of machines! The scene shown was also magnificent, but at the same time, extremely catastrophic!
Floods! Earthquakes! Volcanic eruptions! Droughts! Hurricanes!
All kinds of natural disasters could be seen here! This image was nothing short of a compilation of human disasters!

Dead bodies everywhere! Destroyed homes everywhere!
People were wandering, starving, and freezing!
“Since the Supreme God created humanity, as the population grew and spread across the world, although the continents were rich in resources, natural disasters kept occurring, many of which were unpredictable! Humanity suffered endless calamities! Out of compassion for the lives he had created, the Supreme God then summoned the Twelve Great Gods,” said Gaia in a steady voice.
The scene changed, showing a new image: in the center, twelve people of various backgrounds appeared in human society!
These twelve people helped humanity rebuild their homes and taught them much knowledge, including divine spells. With these, humanity was no longer at the mercy of natural disasters!
Humans could now predict disasters and prepare in advance. With the help of the Twelve Great Gods, they could even directly combat some of these disasters!
Under the guidance of the Twelve Great Gods, human society gradually returned to normal.
“To help humanity conquer nature, the Supreme God separated a part of his own divinity, giving rise to the Twelve Great Gods,” Gaia paused before continuing.
So this is how the Twelve Great Gods came into being, Du Fan thought to himself.
Faced with these astonishing events, Du Fan was utterly shocked! Nothing but shock!
He was so shocked he couldn’t speak, only listening to Gaia’s explanation.
“Because the Great Gods are a part of the Supreme God’s divinity separated from him, there is a fundamental difference between them and other gods. That is, the Great Gods possess the power to create, while other gods do not!” Gaia thought for a moment before saying this to Du Fan.
“Do you have the power to create?” Du Fan suddenly asked Gaia.
“Haha, good question. Of course, I don’t have the power to create. I’m not even a god. I’m just a person, the first one created by the Supreme God!” Gaia said with a smile.
“If you’re just a person, how did you survive until now?” Du Fan asked in confusion.
“I may be a person, but as you know, I’m the first one created by the Supreme God. So, I have some extraordinary abilities. One of them is that I am immortal,” Gaia said with a smile.
“You’re just a person—how can you be immortal?” Du Fan asked.

“The power of the Supreme God is beyond what you can imagine. The Supreme God granted me the power of immortality, so I shall never die!” Gaia said seriously. “Unless the Supreme God orders me to die, even if all twelve supreme gods unite, they cannot kill me.”
“All twelve supreme gods combined still can’t kill you?” Hearing this, Du Fan suddenly had a strange thought. “Have the twelve supreme gods ever tried to kill you together?”
“Have the twelve supreme gods ever tried to kill you together?” Du Fan asked Gaia in surprise.
“Well, no, they haven’t.” Gaia paused for a moment. “Why do you ask such a strange question?” she asked Du Fan.
“Nothing, I just found it strange what you said. Since the twelve supreme gods have never really tried to kill you together, how do you know they can’t do it?” Du Fan replied.
“Hehe, the will of the Supreme God is unchangeable. Back then, the Supreme God created me. Since I was the first to be created, the Supreme God has a special affection for me. That’s why He granted me the power of immortality!” Gaia explained.
