Chapter 0544: The Missing Nia Appears
Kennedy and the others watched as Huang Long restored the Runing Family’s residence and Zulong Mountain once again. They admired Huang Long deeply and were filled with gratitude. Without him, the Runing Family would have perished after those two disasters!
“I’ve already learned where the Supreme Goddess is from Bishop. I’ll go rescue her now,” Huang Long said after thinking about Susan’s whereabouts. Of course, he isolated the space, so only Kennedy and the other elders knew.
“The location of the Supreme Goddess!” Kennedy and the others were overjoyed.
“Wait here for my news!” Huang Long instructed.
Kennedy and the others didn’t dare say anything and thanked Huang Long profusely.
The Realm of the Supreme Goddess was a special space shaped like a continent.
After Bishop left, Susan became extremely anxious. She attacked the light barrier with all her might, but no matter how hard she tried, it remained unbreakable, like an elastic balloon.
Seeing this, the other Supreme Gods also attacked the barrier frantically, but to no avail. Some stood idle, mocking Susan and the others. After all, they had tried before—breaking through that barrier was simply impossible.
“Susan, you’re just wasting your effort!” one Life Supreme God couldn’t help but say.
“That’s better than waiting to die here!” Susan retorted coldly, her face as cold and beautiful as ever.
The Life Supreme God wanted to speak again but stopped in the end.
“This isn’t working!” a Water Supreme God said urgently.
“What good plan do you have then?” the Life Supreme God sneered.
“Enough! We’re trapped here—we should work together to find a way out. Stop this pointless arguing!” shouted a middle-aged man in armless armor, radiating an air of dominance.
This man was Humphert, the Thunder Supreme Lord. After receiving news of trouble in the Supreme God’s space during the realm battlefield, he left with Nia. Unexpectedly, they fell into Mori’s trap and were imprisoned here.
As the Thunder Supreme Lord, Humphert carried considerable influence among the Supreme Gods. So, when he spoke, everyone fell silent.
“Are we really going to let Mori plant a demon seed and be controlled by him forever?!” After a while, a Wind Supreme God sighed heavily.
Originally, Mori was the Supreme God, and it was normal for other gods to submit to him—just as godly warriors would submit to a supreme warrior. But now, although Mori was still the Supreme God, he didn’t possess the strength of a supreme god in this intermediate divine realm; at most, he was only slightly stronger than them. How could they be willing to submit to him?!
Moreover, submitting to Mori meant allowing him to plant some kind of demonic seed in their souls, leaving them forever without freedom—Mori could decide when they lived or died. This was no different from being slaves in a divine realm. How could these gods, who were once supreme beings, accept such a fate?!
As the Wind God spoke, everyone fell silent again.
“If Patri and Elvi fall into my hands, I’ll crush those weaklings!” Humphert’s angry voice rang out once more as the crowd remained silent.
Patri, the Lord of Fire, and Elvi, the Lord of Earth—even if they defected to Mori, otherwise, with Mori’s strength alone, he wouldn’t be able to imprison Humphert. In fact, not just Patri and Elvi—dozens of other gods had already defected to Mori when trouble arose in the space of the supreme gods.
“Humphert, better keep your mouth shut!” A cold laugh echoed through the space, followed by the appearance of an old man with long fiery red hair. This old man was none other than Patri, the Lord of Fire.
“Patri, forget it. Why bother dealing with him? After so many eras, you know better than anyone that his temper is even worse than yours!” After Patri spoke, a young man surrounded by a faint yellow glow appeared—this was Elvi, the Lord of Earth.
These supreme gods, including the deceased Dark God Gebor, the Lord of Water Elf, and the Gold God who had been killed by Mori earlier, had known each other for countless eras and knew each other quite well.
Humphert sneered upon seeing them appear. “Patri, I never thought that after knowing each other for so long, I’d still not realize you’re just like a dog!”
Patri’s face turned extremely ugly instantly. His long fiery red hair stood on end as if in a breeze. “Humphert, what did you say?!” Humphert had actually insulted him by calling him a dog in front of Mori!
“What did I say? Can’t you hear it?” Humphert laughed. “Do you need me to say it again?” He ignored Patri’s anger.
“Enough!” Elvi suddenly stepped in to stop Patri from acting. Although Humphert couldn’t break through that energy shield on his own, if the two lords combined their forces and attacked from both inside and outside, it might be possible to break through. How could Elvi not see Humphert’s intentions?
In a fit of anger, Patry was stopped by Elvi. Seeing Elvi’s gaze, he regained his senses, halted in his movement, and then said to Humphert, “Humphert, I didn’t even lift a hand. Are you disappointed?”
Humphert’s face remained calm, showing no sign of disappointment, only a cold smirk. “So what?”
Elvi didn’t want to continue talking to Humphert. He turned to a humanoid monster nearby and asked, “Where’s Bishop?” He had just realized that Bishop was missing.
The humanoid monster stepped forward and replied respectfully, “Reporting to Lord Elvi, Lord Bishop has gone out!”
“Gone out?!” Elvi frowned.
Patry snorted coldly, “Hmph, that Bishop is good for nothing but causing trouble. I really don’t understand how Lord Mori could like him!”
“Lord Mori has his own reasons,” said Elvi.
“You don’t need to know my thoughts!” Just then, Mori’s voice rang out.
Patry and Elvi were startled and immediately turned to greet him respectfully, “We see you, Lord Mori!”
Mori nodded and glanced at Patry, who panicked inwardly—his earlier words had shown dissatisfaction toward Mori.
Mori was the Supreme God. Even if his power was restricted in this intermediate divine realm, it wasn’t something he could be criticized for. Moreover, the demonic seed within him was under Mori’s control.
Fortunately, after glancing at him, Mori didn’t say much on the matter. Instead, he turned to Susan, Humphert, and the others and ordered, “Take them away!”
Take them away?! Patry and Elvi were confused, not understanding why Mori wanted Susan, Humphert, and the others taken away.
“Bishop must have gone to the Netherworld!” Mori narrowed his eyes.
“Gone to the Netherworld?!” Patry and Elvi were stunned. Did Lord Mori mean…? They seemed to understand now—Bishop’s departure to the Netherworld might attract the Yellow Dragon.
But wouldn’t attracting the Yellow Dragon be even better?! Then they could join forces to kill it in one go!
“Lord Mori, if the Yellow Dragon really comes, we can…” Elvi cautiously suggested.
“Do as I say!” Mori interrupted.
Patry and Elvi didn’t dare say anything more and immediately obeyed Mori’s order, taking Susan, Humphert, and the others out of that special space.
After everyone left, Mori sneered, “Yellow Dragon, let’s see how you find us!” With that, he vanished in a flash.
Not long after Mori disappeared, a figure appeared in a flash—the Yellow Dragon entered that space.
The Yellow Dragon’s divine sense covered the empty space, and he frowned as he looked around. Bishop’s memories couldn’t be false—this was indeed the space where Susan, Humphert, and the other supreme gods were imprisoned. Since it was true, the only explanation was that Mori must have realized something and left with Susan and the others ahead of time. After killing Bishop, the Yellow Dragon didn’t return to the Nether Sea but headed straight to this special space in the realm of the Light Supreme God. Yet, he was still one step too late! The Yellow Dragon flew around this space once more but found nothing. Then he sat down in meditation. With a thought, a celebration cloud appeared above him, bearing the Chaos Bell. He channeled all his inner immortal energy, causing the celebration cloud to emit a bright light, while air currents swirling around the Chaos Bell formed an intricate pattern. As the Yellow Dragon continued to channel his energy, the space above trembled, and a water mirror appeared out of thin air. Scenes from their past flashed across it—if Mori and the others were here, they would be shocked to see these exact events replaying. After a while, the Yellow Dragon stopped, retracting the celebration cloud and the Chaos Bell, with fine beads of sweat on his forehead. Standing up, he raised his right hand to tear open a gap in space before darting into the spatial turbulence. The turbulence was filled with violent currents that rushed toward him as soon as he entered. He used his immortal energy to create an invisible barrier around him, blocking those currents, then flew southeast. After flying through the turbulence for a while, he stopped, created another spatial rift, and entered another divine realm. This realm wasn’t one of the six supreme divine realms or the seven major supreme god realms—it was an ordinary one. The Yellow Dragon’s divine sense spread instantly, covering every corner of the realm. Frowning, he found no trace of Mori and the others. He must have tracked them here correctly. He flew around the realm once more but found nothing, just like in that special space. Finally, even by using the technique of reversing space flow, he couldn’t locate Mori and the others. In this realm, it seemed as though Mori and the others had vanished without a trace. In the end, the Yellow Dragon had no choice but to return to the Nether World. Back there, he went straight to the Nether Sea. “Second brother, you’re back?!” Huang Yi exclaimed joyfully upon seeing the Yellow Dragon return to the Sea City Palace with a gloomy expression.
“Brother Huang Long!” Then, more than a dozen people came out of the inner hall. Upon seeing them, Huang Long realized that the one leading them was Nia, with Li Yifeng following behind her.
