Chapter 0522: Where is Lord ELord EErfu?
After enclosing the deity of the Water Domain, Lord ELord EErfu, within the Five Pits Divine Cauldron, Huang Long turned to look at the Lord of Light, Elvis, and the Lord of Life, Barbara, with a cold gaze. If it weren’t for the protection of the Chaos Bell, he would likely have been severely injured by their attacks.
Seeing Huang Long staring at them, Elvis and Barbara grew anxious. They moved closer to each other, their powers of light and life surging as they watched Huang Long warily, ready to defend themselves.
The airflow in space once again stagnated. The other supreme gods, fearing further harm, retreated far away. Nia and Susan also stepped back, while Li Yifeng, under Nia’s orders, had the silver-haired giant Zhero retreat hundreds of millions of miles away. Even the higher-ranking gods and peerless warriors kept retreating.
Everyone was tense, awaiting the outcome of the battle between Huang Long and Elvis and Barbara. Earlier, Elvis had fought Huang Long using his supreme artifact, and the two were evenly matched. When Barbara arrived, everyone thought it wouldn’t be difficult for the two to combine forces and kill Huang Long. But now, they were no longer so sure.
The memory of that strange tree sucking Lord ELord EErfu of the Water Domain into a dried corpse was still fresh in everyone’s mind, leaving the supreme gods in shock.
“It seems I’m late!” A sarcastic voice rang out at that moment. Soon after, an old man in a green robe appeared before them. The old man was thin, and as his eyes moved, a gloomy, sickly green light flickered, with a faint aura of death surrounding him.
When the old man arrived, Elvis, Barbara, Nia, and Kolid, the four lords, frowned. The other supreme gods looked at him with reverence, while those who were closer to him stepped even further back.
“Yedaha!” Elvis said slowly, staring at the thin old man.
Huang Long’s heart stirred—Yedaha, the Lord of Death! No wonder the supreme gods feared this old man so much. From Li Yifeng, Huang Long had learned that Yedaha had a peculiar personality and often acted in unpredictable ways.
“Haha, Elvis, it’s been so many years. What, have you and Barbara become friends?” said Yedaha, the Lord of Death, with a smile that made his skeletal face even more eerie.
Everyone shuddered at the sight. The supreme gods knew that whenever Yedaha smiled, someone would suffer.
“Hmph, Yedaha, stay out of our affairs!” Barbara, the Lord of Life, said coldly.
Huang Long’s eyes flashed. It seemed Yedaha might have an interest in Barbara? Their relationship was quite complicated.
“Kid, are you Huang Long? What are you staring at?!” Yedaha turned to look at Huang Long, sneering darkly. Without warning, he attacked Huang Long, waving his hand as the power of the Death God surged toward him.
Since Yedaha had arrived later, he hadn’t seen Huang Long kill the Dark God Gebor with the Chaos Bell or drain the Water Lord Elfu using the Netherworld Tree. His understanding of Huang Long was still based on what he had heard from the gods before arriving at the battlefield. Thus, in Yedaha’s eyes, although Huang Long could defeat Faji, Kok, Deanli, and others, he was at most at the level of Great Perfection. How dare someone at Great Perfection mock him?!
Seeing Yedaha being suppressed by Barbara and thinking Huang Long was easy to bully and could be used as a scapegoat, Huang Long sneered inwardly. Without any further hesitation, he fully activated the spiritual power within him, triggering the Chaos Bell above his head.
The Chaos Bell emitted a blinding light, and with a deafening boom, the primordial yellow energy rushed violently toward Yedaha.
Space began to crack, turning into endless voids.
Yedaha struck casually, standing with his hands behind his back, a cold smile on his face, waiting for Huang Long to cry out in pain and fly backward. But suddenly, a thunderous bell sound shook his entire body, his heart pounding as if struck hard. His mind buzzed, and he was filled with shock. Before he could react, he saw space cracking before his eyes.
“The Death Prison!”
Yedaha was enraged. Ignoring everything else, he retreated swiftly. A glow appeared in his hand, green light flaring as his supreme divine weapon descended. Terrifying power from the Death God surged forth, with the spirits of death screaming and wailing, creating a hellish atmosphere filled with howling winds.
With another loud explosion, the primordial yellow energy collided with the power of the Death God from the Death Prison!
The gods were shocked.
The violent collision between the primordial yellow energy and the power of the Death God caused a temporary halt, freezing everything in place. The cracking space stopped for a moment. But just as Yedaha felt relieved, he saw the grayishair current suddenly breaking through his Death Prison and continuing to flood toward him, causing space to crack further.
Yedaha kept retreating, waving his supreme divine weapon again. The power of the Death God swept like a storm, attacking the primordial yellow energy.
Deafening explosions continued to ring out.
The world trembled.
By the time Yedaha had retreated hundreds of millions of miles away, the primordial yellow energy finally stopped under his continuous attacks.
Yedaha watched as the chaotic yellowish mist dispersed and vanished. His eyes could not conceal the shock in his heart, and deep within his mind, he trembled. Then, following the direction, he saw the yellow dragon standing in the air. Finally, his gaze settled on the Chaos Bell atop the dragon’s head. Stammering, he said, “This… this… you… you!”
What is this?! What are you?!
Yedaha looked “excited,” not knowing what to say.
All of this overturned his understanding!
What class of divine artifact was this ancient bell? Just like Elvis and the others before, that was his first thought.
Was the yellow dragon at the peak of perfection?! Was this just his own delusion?!
The yellow dragon stood high in the sky, with the Chaos Bell above it emitting a faint glow. On the bell’s surface, insects, fish, and various beasts appeared vividly. Earlier, when the Netherworld Divine Tree absorbed the divine body and essence of the Water Domain’s ruler, Elf, massive amounts of energy radiated from the tree, continuously tempering the yellow dragon’s physique. Through its dantian, this energy flowed throughout its body, greatly enhancing its strength. That’s why its power surged again under the impact of the bell.
Otherwise, as the Lord of Death, with strength on par with the Lord of Light, Elvis, the yellow dragon wouldn’t have been able to push him to such a desperate state.
After a long while, Yedaha tried to suppress his shock. With a lingering sense of fear, he glanced around at the other supreme gods, noticing their gloating expressions—especially Elvis and Barbara’s teasing looks. Anger flared in his heart. It seemed everyone already knew about the yellow dragon’s “situation” but hadn’t told him, wanting to see him humiliated!
A frosty expression appeared on Yedaha’s face as he scanned Wunda and the others. Their gloating expressions immediately faded, and they activated their divine powers, wary of him lashing out at them.
At that moment, applause rang out, followed by a loud voice: “Amazing! Truly amazing!”
Yedaha turned angrily and saw a middle-aged man appearing in the void. The man wore armless armor, exuding an imposing aura, with lightning flashing around him.
“Hamft, it’s you!” Yedaha’s anger subsided slightly as he spoke coldly.
Hamft, the Lord of Lightning!
Although the strength of the seven domain lords was not as great as that of the six rule lords, the gap was not significant. And since Hamft belonged to the most powerful of the seven domains—lightning—even Yedaha couldn’t do much to him.
Hamft grinned, delighted to see Yedaha in trouble: “Good thing I didn’t arrive too late!”
Yedaha grew even angrier. He understood that Hamft’s words implied he hadn’t arrived too late, just in time to witness his humiliation.
“Nia, you’re really not loyal at all. With all the excitement here, you didn’t even bother to let your brother know.” Humphert ignored Yedaha and joked with Nia.
Nia laughed heartily. “Even if I hadn’t said anything, wouldn’t you have come anyway? It’s not too late, not too late!”
“That’s true, it’s not too late,” Humphert said with a smile, then turned to Yellow Dragon. “This is Brother Yellow Dragon?” He then exclaimed in admiration, “I never expected Brother Yellow Dragon to be so incredibly strong.” As he spoke, his gaze inadvertently fell on the Chaos Bell on Yellow Dragon’s head, unable to hide his shock.
Yellow Dragon knew Humphert and Nia were close friends, so he returned the courtesy with a polite remark as well.
Elvis and Barbara frowned upon seeing Humphert arrive. They had originally planned to persuade Yedaha so that the three of them could join forces to attack and kill Yellow Dragon, but with Humphert here, that plan no longer worked.
For a moment, the situation once again stalled.
By now, over fifty Primordial Gods had arrived.
In the realm of the gods, about half of all the Primordial Gods had shown up!
“Demp, who is this young man with black hair?!” asked a Wind Primordial God who arrived later to a Water Primordial God who was there first. Upon arriving, he saw that all the other Primordial Gods were looking at the young man with black hair in awe, including Elvis, Barbara, and Yedaha, leaving him puzzled.
“He’s Yellow Dragon!” replied Water Primordial God Demp, his expression complex.
“Yellow Dragon?” The Wind Primordial God was surprised to hear it was Yellow Dragon, but his confusion deepened. Like the previous Death Sovereign Yedaha, his understanding of Yellow Dragon still remained from before arriving at the battlefield of this realm; he didn’t know that the Dark Primordial God Gebor and the Water Sovereign Elf had both died at Yellow Dragon’s hands.
The other Primordial Gods who arrived later also looked puzzled.
“Huh, where is Lord Elf?” The Wind Primordial God scanned the area and, not seeing Water Sovereign Elf, asked in surprise. He had met Water Sovereign Elf on the way here, so logically, Elf should have arrived by now.
“Lord Elf is dead!” Water Primordial God Demp said, his voice trembling.
“What?!” The dozen or so Primordial Gods who arrived last were shocked and stared at Water Primordial God Demp in disbelief.
Dead?!
But Water Primordial God Demp’s expression didn’t seem like he was joking, nor could it be a joke.
“U-um, Lord Elf… how… how did he die?!” the Wind Primordial God asked in a trembling voice after a while.
Water Primordial God Demp didn’t speak but looked at Yellow Dragon with a terrified expression.
