Chapter 0413: The Yellow Dragon, Number One

So said the Supreme God Nia. Wonda and Susan neither expressed any opinion nor spoke, remaining silent. Thus, all the gods respectfully obeyed and stepped aside to make room for the Yellow Dragon and Augus to continue their battle for first place. However, although the fight between the Yellow Dragon and Augus had been interrupted by various events, there was now no suspense regarding the outcome.
Number one: the Yellow Dragon!
Of course, though they knew the Yellow Dragon was bound to lose to Augus, the gods still looked forward to the upcoming battle. A clash between two top-tier beastmasters was something rarely seen even in the Underworld.
Nia, Wonda, and Susan did not leave but stood high in the sky, watching as well. Compared to Wonda and Susan’s calm expressions, Supreme God Nia watched the Yellow Dragon below with a smiling, interested gaze.
He had long heard of the Yellow Dragon, but it was only after learning that his son was with this dragon that he truly paid attention. The more he observed, the more astonished he became.
“Twelve divine avatars?” Nia murmured to himself.
Twelve divine avatars—something he hadn’t even been able to uncover before.
“There’s something unfathomable about this Yellow Dragon…!” A glint appeared in Nia’s eyes. If even he couldn’t see through it, what did that mean?
Yet, it was a fact that the Yellow Dragon was merely an upper-tier god.
As Nia pondered, Wonda and Susan were naturally uneasy, while the Kennedy family and other surrounding gods also had their own thoughts.
Of course, whether it was the three supreme gods, the Kennedy family, or the other gods, everyone’s thoughts revolved around the Yellow Dragon.
Under the gaze of the gods, Augus walked toward the fighting platform with a grim expression. With each step, his weight seemed to increase, until, when he finally stepped onto the platform, it felt as though thousands of pounds were pressing down on him.
Upon reaching the platform, he grew panicked and looked at their clan leader, Hobart, with a pleading gaze. Hobart simply closed his eyes decisively.
He understood Augus’s intention—Augus wanted to give up the fight and admit defeat!
But there was nothing he could do about it. It was the supreme god who ordered the fight to continue.
“Haha, Wonda, this kid isn’t as timid as you, are he?” Nia laughed at Wonda, noticing Augus’s fear on the platform.
Nia’s voice carried freely, so the gods below heard it clearly. Wonda’s expression darkened.

However, instead of being angry at Nia, he turned his furious gaze toward Augus. Augus felt as though a bolt of lightning had struck him, and a pain originating from the depths of his soul made him cry out in agony.
Wonda snorted.
Augus’ mind buzzed with fear, and he quickly fell silent, his face filled with terror.
“Let the contest begin!” Wonda turned to Bishop, the referee, annoyed that Bishop had delayed starting the contest, allowing Nia to embarrass him. His voice carried the power of the Supreme God, so Bishop too was struck like by lightning, his face turning pale—not much better off than Augus.
“The contest begins!” Bishop announced, enduring the pain.
Although Wonda’s actions were hidden from the other gods, they couldn’t escape Nia and Susan’s attention. Nia smirked, while Susan remained cold and unreadable.
The contest began!
Augus didn’t even summon his prideful million-plus primal beasts. Instead, he roared and transformed into a giant sky centipede, then attacked the Yellow Dragon.
Augus was driven mad; at this point, he had no other thoughts—only the desire to attack the Yellow Dragon, again and again!
The Yellow Dragon also didn’t summon any mutated primal beasts; it immediately transformed into a golden five-clawed dragon and rushed at Augus.
With a loud crash, the Yellow Dragon’s golden five-clawed form collided with Augus’s sky centipede form. Yet Augus’s strength wasn’t much weaker than the Yellow Dragon’s. With his transformed form and frenzied attacks, the Yellow Dragon only managed to knock him away, without seriously injuring him.
Still, the fact that the Yellow Dragon could knock Augus away shocked Herbert, the head of the Terrence family, and the other gods.
After seeing Augus transform into a sky centipede, Herbert and the others knew just how strong his attacks and defenses were—comparable to those of a mid-level Eighth Rank Underworld King. Yet he was still knocked away by a single strike from the Yellow Dragon!
In the sky, Supreme God Nia was also surprised. “Is this Yellow Dragon’s attack and defense that strong?” Then she turned to Supreme God Susan and asked, “Susan, your Yellow Dragon’s golden five-clawed form—doesn’t your Luning family seem to have it? Could it be that this Yellow Dragon is also a mutated being?”
Supreme God Nia could clearly see that Augus’s sky centipede form was the result of some kind of mutation, but she couldn’t tell whether the Yellow Dragon’s golden five-clawed form was mutated as well, which was why she asked.
But while Nia was suspicious, Susan was equally puzzled.

She had seen the Yellow Dragon’s form of a five-clawed golden dragon back at the Ancestral Dragon Pool, and had been puzzled at the time; even now, she still couldn’t explain why.
“Probably?” After a while, the Supreme Goddess Susan said uncertainly.
She didn’t know how to answer either. If not, then how could she explain the Yellow Dragon’s form as a five-clawed golden dragon?
“Probably?” Nyaa clearly hadn’t expected even Susan to be unsure.
Wonda, who was standing nearby, remained silent, lost in thought.
“Wonda, what do you think?” Nyaa turned to ask the Supreme Goddess Wonda suddenly.
Wonda raised his head and pondered, “The Yellow Dragon must have swallowed a Dragon Blood Crystal belonging to an elder of the Runing family, which caused it to mutate. But as for why the Yellow Dragon possesses dragon blood, that’s beyond investigation.”
“A Dragon Blood Crystal? Are you referring to what happened in the Dragon Mountain Range?” Nyaa asked.
Back then, the Yellow Dragon obtaining that Dragon Blood Crystal from an elder of the Runing family in the Dragon Mountain Range was no longer a secret to some of the Supreme Gods who kept an eye on it. Susan was also aware of this. Kennedy had reported it to her before.
The three Supreme Gods of Nyaa fell into deep thought.
At that moment, another loud explosion echoed from the fighting platform, shaking the surrounding mountains. The three Supreme Gods looked over and saw Augus being flung away by the Yellow Dragon once again and crashing to the ground.
“Ugh! Om! Ah! Hung! Ma! Ya! Fu! Bo!”
As Augus struggled to get back up, a third flash of light appeared, and a sinister red beam shot toward the Yellow Dragon. Suddenly, the Yellow Dragon raised its head and roared, uttering those eight mysterious characters.
Just as before, thousands of celestial dragons across the universe chimed in unison. All sounds vanished, all colors dimmed, and as space resonated with a hum, a terrifying airflow spread out.
Augus let out a pained scream and flew backward, drifting like a withered leaf.
Apart from the peerless strongmen present, all the other gods felt their minds buzz and their consciousness blur, their faces turning pale with horror.
“What a powerful attack skill! Could this also be an innate skill of the dragon race?!” From high above, Nyaa was also astonished by the strength of the Yellow Dragon’s attack, the Eight Tones of the Dragon God.
Since the three Supreme Gods had just arrived, they hadn’t seen the Yellow Dragon use the Eight Tones of the Dragon God in its previous battles. Wonda and Susan could also hide their shock no longer. Augus’s strength was not much weaker than the Yellow Dragon’s, yet under that single attack from the Yellow Dragon, he had no chance to resist at all!
After a while, Susan calmed herself down before shaking her head and saying, “It probably isn’t an innate skill of the dragon race!”
“Probably?” Nyaa murmured to herself in confusion.

After a long while, the roars of the myriad Tianlong dragons ceased, and the continuously falling Augus struck the restrictions at the edge of the competition platform, crashing down with a dull thud. Silence settled between heaven and earth. The competition—Yellow Dragon, first place—was decided!

Long after that, once Bishop announced the result, the gods in the surrounding mountains erupted in excitement. Although the three supreme gods were present, they still couldn’t suppress their joyous cheers. However, though the match between Yellow Dragon and Augus was over and first and second places had been determined, the competition in the Land of Forgetting had not yet ended. Beikal Saxton, who had lost to Yellow Dragon, still had to compete for third and fourth place against Bowen, whose family had been selected by the wheel to advance directly to the next round!

Of course, compared to the battle between Yellow Dragon and Augus, the gods had little interest in Saxton’s match against Bowen. During Saxton and Bowen’s fight, many godly strongmen quietly discussed the battle between Yellow Dragon and Augus with excitement.

It wasn’t long before the result of Saxton and Bowen’s match came out—Saxton finished third, and Bowen fourth. Thus, all the matches among the descendants of the six major families before the opening of the Land of Forgetting were concluded.

After the matches ended, the three supreme gods of Nia dismissed the other gods, leaving only Yellow Dragon and the high-ranking members of the six major families. Although the competitions were over, the identity of Yellow Dragon still needed to be resolved.

What the three supreme gods of Nia and the high-ranking members of the six major families hadn’t expected was that Yellow Dragon would openly admit he wasn’t a descendant of the Runing family. But if Yellow Dragon wasn’t from the Runing family, then another question arose—since only the descendants of the six major families could enter once the Land of Forgetting opened, did that mean Yellow Dragon couldn’t enter?

“Great supreme gods, what do you mean?” Herbert asked cautiously.

“The Land of Forgetting doesn’t stipulate that descendants of other families can’t enter. It’s just that until now, only those with the bloodline of the six major families have been able to enter. So, let things take their natural course. Do you understand?” Nia pondered for a moment before turning to Kennedy and the others.

Wonda and Susan also remained silent.

“Yes, supreme god!” Herbert and the others replied respectfully.

Everyone naturally understood what supreme god Nia meant—although Yellow Dragon wasn’t from the six major families, he shared the dragon bloodline like the Runing family. No one could stop Yellow Dragon from entering the Land of Forgetting; it would have to be left to fate.

So, could Yellow Dragon enter the Land of Forgetting? Everyone wondered.
