Chapter 0292: Be Sure to Bring Them to Me

The atmosphere in the Great Hall of Ice Jade Peak was somewhat gloomy.
Sitting on the throne at the center of the hall, Hebrael watched as the sunlight faded, his expression growing darker.
The sun was setting; dusk had arrived.
Since noon, no one in the hall had spoken, waiting quietly for Heber, Virgil, and the others to arrive. Yet, none from the Black Iron Peak faction had shown up.
“Heber and Virgil have truly disappointed me!” Hebrael said in a low voice.
A cold wind howled through the hall.
Kunnir, the leader of the Iron Blood Peak, and the others tensed up.
Most of the eighteen leaders of the other peaks took pleasure in this situation.
How dare the Heber and Virgil faction fail to pay tribute?! It seemed the Black Iron Peak faction would have to replace its leader this time! Perhaps one or two of their peaks might even disappear from the Netherworld!
Ice Jade Peak would not tolerate such behavior again.
A warning to others!
“Hamidun!” Hebrael turned to look at a burly man with short hair beside him.
Hamidun was the leader of the eight mid-tier gods of Ice Jade Peak, the second strongest after Hebrael himself.
“Yes, my lord!” Hamidun replied with a deep voice.
“Take all the Ice Guards with you. Be sure to bring Heber, Virgil, and the other six of them to me!” Hebrael ordered coldly. “I want to see how they explain this. Otherwise…” He grinned ominously.
The eighteen members of the Iron Blood Peak were shocked.
Take all the Ice Guards of Ice Jade Peak with them?!
There were a thousand Ice Guards, all lower-tier gods, but each possessed two or three primal forces, making them as strong as ordinary mid-tier gods!
A thousand Ice Guards were more than enough to overwhelm the Black Iron Peak faction.
“Yes, my lord!” Hamidun replied without hesitation, then left the hall to gather the thousand Ice Guards and head toward the Black Iron Peak faction.
Kunnir of the Iron Blood Peak and Makohin of the Goddess Peak exchanged glances. Kunnir and Makohin stood up and said, “Lord Hebrael, we have urgent matters to attend to, so we must take our leave for now.”
Hebrael nodded grimly.
The other factions also left one after another.
After leaving the Great Hall of Ice Jade Peak, Kunnir said with a smile, “I never thought those six from Heber’s faction would dare not pay tribute. With a thousand Ice Guards sent after them, it seems the Black Iron Peak faction is in trouble this time!”
Makohin also smiled. “It’ll be quite interesting then. How could we miss such an exciting event? Who knows, we might even reap some benefits from it!”

More than ten days later, Hamidun arrived above Black Iron Peak with a thousand Ice Guards from Ice Jade Peak. Upon seeing Black Iron Peak covered in clouds below, Hamidun frowned. What was going on with these clouds? He extended his divine sense, only to be blocked by some force. “A restriction?” Hamidun smirked after a moment—was this why Black Iron Peak refused to pay tribute? Thinking that a few restrictions could hold off Ice Jade Peak? How naive! “You go up there and break those restrictions,” Hamidun ordered his Ice Guards, pointing downward. “Yes, Lord Hamidun!” Immediately, a hundred Ice Guards stepped forward in obedience. They unleashed their divine essences, preparing to deliver their strongest attacks. In an instant, powerful divine forces surged, enveloping the entire Black Iron Peak. “Attack!” Hamidun commanded fiercely. The divine essences above the hundred Ice Guards shone brightly as they launched their attacks downward. Hamidun sneered—Black Iron Peak would be the first to suffer. Once that happened, the other five peaks would surely come to apologize without him having to lift a finger. With the full force of their divine essences, the hundred Ice Guards’ attacks could very well split Black Iron Peak in two! On Taiyi Peak, inside the Four Seas Dragon Palace, the Yellow Dragon watched coldly the water mirror in the air, which clearly displayed Hamidun and his men’s actions. In the palace, aside from the twenty-four members of the Bogu clan, there were also Heber, Fugil, and seventeen mid-tier gods from the other six peaks. Seeing the scene of the hundred Ice Guards unleashing their full power through the water mirror, Heber, Fugil, and the others became extremely anxious. The Yellow Dragon snorted coldly and, with a thought, instantly activated the Twelve Heavenly Fiend Gods Formation! Within thirty thousand miles around Taiyi Peak, primordial energies appeared out of nowhere, overwhelming everything. The clouds covering Black Iron Peak and the other peaks grew denser, and the twelve ancestral gods and witches manifested in the sky! Gonggong, the ancestor of water, had a serpent’s head and human body, wrapped in a green giant serpent, covered in black scales, and standing on two black dragons. Zhurong, the ancestor of fire, had an animal’s body and human face, with two fire snakes hanging from his ears, riding on two fire dragons. … Dijiang, the ancestor of spatial speed, appeared as a yellow sac, red like flaming fire, with six legs and four wings. Houtu, the ancestor of earth, had a human body and a serpent’s tail, with seven hands behind her and two hands in front holding coiling snakes. Each of the twelve ancestral gods and witches was a thousand feet tall, emitting cruel, icy, and primordial beastly auras. The sky and earth changed color! The winds and clouds above Taiyi Peak trembled.

One hundred Ice Guards’ attacks were reflected back. Then, Hamidun and the others were shocked to see a giant triangular mountain appear in the sky. This triangular mountain, spanning thousands of miles, rushed down like something that could cover the sky and block out the sun. “Retreat!” Hamidun shouted in anger. At the same time, he summoned his mid-tier divine weapon and swung it fiercely. The earth element’s divine power condensed into a towering blade of light, vibrating violently as it tried to split the triangular mountain. It was the characteristic of the earth element’s law—“Shock”! Hamidun, being a mid-tier god of the earth element, had fully grasped this characteristic. As the blade of light passed, the clouds surrounding Black Iron Peak were scattered by its shockwave. Seeing this, the Yellow Dragon formed a spell with his hands, causing the Group of Immortals Pavilion to expand again. Its spirit, the Five-Clawed Golden Dragon, rushed out, roaring like thunder, with two beams of golden light shooting from its eyes. Boom! A deafening explosion echoed. The Ice Guards on Ice Jade Peak and Xi He and others in the Four Seas Dragon Palace were shocked to see Hamidun’s blade of light split by two beams of golden energy, causing it to disappear! Before entering the Netherworld, the Group of Immortals Pavilion had already evolved into an immortal weapon. After arriving in the Netherworld, within the Ancient Forest, the Netherworld Divine Tree had absorbed the energy of over two million primal beast crystals! With each absorption, the Group of Immortals Pavilion reaped the greatest benefits. The Netherworld Divine Tree itself had long merged with the Group of Immortals Pavilion. Under the influence of the terrifying energy from those two million primal beast crystals, the Group of Immortals Pavilion had reached the peak of a lower-tier immortal weapon! Its spirit, the Five-Clawed Golden Dragon, had grown to four hundred zhang in length. Combined with the Group of Immortals Pavilion, their combined attack was so powerful that even an ordinary mid-tier god could hardly resist it. However, Hamidun was the leader of the eight mid-tier gods of Ice Jade Peak, and his strength was far beyond that of ordinary mid-tier gods. Seeing his attack broken by the golden dragon that emerged from the mountain, Hamidun was initially shocked but quickly regained his composure. He shouted loudly, flipping his mid-tier divine weapon. Waves of earth-yellow energy rose like waves. It was the characteristic of the earth element’s law—“Upheaval”! The Yellow Dragon, controlling the Group of Immortals Pavilion from within the Four Seas Dragon Palace, flashed forward and arrived at the high altitude of Supreme Peak. With a wave of his hands, the Twelve Heavenly Fiend Arrays were activated, and the Twelve Ancestral Witches roared toward the sky! Twelve invisible waves of energy were sent out. Under Hamidun’s terrified gaze, his mind buzzed, followed by the screams of the Ice Guards on Ice Jade Peak. “Soul attack!”

The Twelve Ancestral Witches appeared in midair as mere entities. Hamidun realized they must have appeared due to some kind of restriction. He had been keeping an eye on the movements of the Twelve Ancestral Witches, but it was beyond his expectation that these non-physical entities could still exert soul power to launch soul attacks.

“Recall them!” At that moment, a cold glint flashed in Huang Long’s eyes as he gave a deep roar. The Group of Immortals Pavilion descended above those dazed Ice Jade Peak Ice Guards. A large formation was activated, generating an intense suction force that instantly pulled them in. In the blink of an eye, two or three hundred Ice Guards were absorbed, disappearing without a trace.

Those Ice Guards, who were quite strong, suffered some mental shock after being struck by the Twelve Ancestral Witches, but they regained much of their consciousness in the blink of an eye. They summoned their divine essences and roared, ready to attack the Group of Immortals Pavilion.

Seeing this, Huang Long pointed with both hands. A flash of golden light disappeared instantly, and the Group of Immortals Pavilion resonated with a hum. Attack formations such as the Dayan Divine Thunder Array were activated. Purple lightning descended, and heavenly fire spread. All that could be seen was a sea of lightning and red flames—a kind of fire even more terrifying than that of lower-ranked gods.

Those Ice Guards who had tried to attack by summoning their divine essences didn’t have time to react before being engulfed by the purple lightning and heavenly fire. Cries of pain echoed before they vanished.

Hamidun was both shocked and enraged. With a furious roar, two more figures emerged from his body—identical to him, dressed in blue and red respectively, namely Hamidun’s wind and fire divine avatars.

The reason Hamidun could rank first among the eight mid-tier gods of Ice Jade Peak was not only because of the strength of his earth-based divine power but also because he possessed two more mid-tier divine avatars: one for wind and one for fire.

Earthly divine power was boundless!
Wind divine power howled through the skies!
Fire divine power surged violently!

After summoning his wind and fire divine avatars, they formed a triangle. The three types of divine power continuously erupted and merged. Hamidun’s eyes flashed coldly as he let out a fierce roar and threw his fists straight at the Group of Immortals Pavilion.

Just as Hamidun’s fists were about to strike the Pavilion, a figure flashed into view—Huang Long, who also threw his fists forward.

Boom!

A loud explosion rang out. Energy blasts struck those Ice Guards who hadn’t retreated in time, causing them to fall with screams, only to be instantly absorbed back by the Group of Immortals Pavilion.

“Who are you?!” Hamidun demanded angrily, his voice deep and filled with relentless killing intent.

“Who am I?” Huang Long replied indifferently. “You’ll find out soon enough.”

Hamidun laughed in fury. Glancing at nearly half of the Ice Guards around him having disappeared, he summoned the divine essences of the three elements with his three divine bodies. “I’ll make you die!”

“Is that so?” Huang Long said coldly. Then, clusters of golden mist rose from his body, enveloping an area of a hundred miles around him. The mist swirled unpredictably, and finally, to everyone’s astonishment, a giant dragon claw emerged, scattering the golden mist over hundreds of miles.
