Chapter 0215: The Death of the Dragon Emperor
Not far from Phoenix Island, Nicole had just taken off when suddenly a cold laugh rang out. Then, a powerful suction force pulled her down from the sky.
Nicole involuntarily landed on a desolate island below. Shocked, she shouted, “Who dares to mess with me?”

With a mocking voice, a figure appeared—it was the Dragon Emperor Fli.
“Dragon Emperor Fli!” Nicole was shocked upon seeing him, feeling a strong sense of unease. Although this place was near Phoenix Island, usually, he wouldn’t dare do anything to her. But his appearance here and his act of pulling her down clearly indicated he had a plan.
The Dragon Emperor Fli didn’t speak but walked toward Nicole with a cold smile.
“What do you want?!” Nicole stepped back, panic flashing in her eyes.
“What do I want? Sorry, but the essence of your Phoenix clan is a precious nourishment for our dragon race. By draining your essence, I might be able to break through to the divine realm. To do that and marry Euman, I have no choice but to take this action,” the Dragon Emperor Fli said coldly, his eyes gleaming with lust as he stared at Nicole’s curvaceous body.
To drain someone’s essence meant engaging in sexual intercourse. Having not experienced a woman in ages, the Dragon Emperor Fli licked his lips.
“What?! You dare? You’re shameless!” Nicole’s face turned red as she cursed in outrage, filled with fear.
“I’m shameless? Don’t worry, I’ll be even more shameless soon!” the Dragon Emperor Fli laughed lewdly.
“Don’t come closer! This place isn’t far from Phoenix Island. If I cry out, they’ll hear me there,” Nicole said angrily, watching as he continued to approach without paying attention.
“Hehe, go ahead and cry. I’ve already blocked everything with my dragon power. No one outside will hear you,” the Dragon Emperor Fli sneered.
No one could hear her? Panicked, Nicole transformed into her phoenix form and let out a cry. But as he said, the sound seemed to be blocked by some force and bounced back.

“Huang Long!” Dragon Emperor Fli trembled, his face turning ashen. He shook his head, filled with resentment, despair, and fear, before roaring angrily, “Why?! Why, you damned old man! Why do you do this?!”
“Why me?!”
He had been on the verge of absorbing the vital essence of Simp, the daughter of the Phoenix clan, which would allow him to break through to the divine realm. Then he could marry the Sea Queen Euman and unite with the sea tribes, making him fearless against Huang Long. But at the last moment, that old scoundrel had sent Huang Long—his mortal enemy! Her heart raced, and she forgot about propriety: “Elder Huang Long, wait!” Huang Long stopped mid-flight and asked curiously, “Is there something else?” Nicole glanced around the desolate island, looking timid and fragile. “Elder Huang Long, this place isn’t far from Phoenix Island. Could you take me there?” Huang Long frowned. He understood that she wanted him to take her back to Phoenix Island. “Alright!” After a moment’s thought, Huang Long agreed.
It’s indeed not far from Phoenix Island; for him, it’s just a short while. Moreover, the direction to Phoenix Island happens to be the same as his route back to Hengyuan Continent. So, he might as well take him along on the way.
