Chapter 42: Superpower Outburst
Elegant and gentle? No! That only represents restraint and pretense. When there are enough dark genetic imprints and they are unlocked, the body gains the ability to transmit a “demonic” sensation to the consciousness. It lies dormant most of the time, erupting under specific conditions—just like black powder igniting other explosives. Once it breaks out, the stimulation and desire are extremely intense. Undoubtedly, this is a torment and test of will; it’s hard to expect it to stop. It may strike either predictably or unexpectedly, forcing you to choose between conquest and being conquered, over and over again…
Many people have tried to define “demonia” precisely. Most of them have moved beyond superficial notions of grotesque appearances with horns, tails, scales, and hooves, for they realize such traits merely reflect the vast diversity of species. Reacting with shock to these differences stems from unfamiliarity. “Demonia” is a characteristic whose manifestation, like that of a madman, can turn the kindest and most gentle being into something monstrous and terrifying in an instant. Of course, a madman’s behavior is almost unconscious madness, while “demonia” is the exact opposite.
“So… the dark path is always so fascinating. It lets you experience the pleasure of rapidly growing strong and having repeated bursts of power, but it also leads to addiction and degeneration. It’s a perpetual struggle between controlling oneself and losing oneself.”
When Nancy explained to Neo the consequences of his choices, he still felt pitiful. Why? Why was his elemental power dark? If not for the influence of the Tree of Creation, he would likely already be on the path toward becoming a devil or demon.
“Actually, any power is like that. Do you desire to set the whole world on fire? Or raise waves to drown all lands? Let storms and lightning ravage the void? Turn the world into a mere lump of stone? Well, there’s also light. In the past, present, and future, many beings have seen assimilation by light as a form of elevation, believing that life itself is a product of light. But there’s another view: if the temptation of darkness is naked and direct, then the allure of light is subtle and grandiose. To become close to, intimate with, and one with any power is a choice of will, unrelated to anything else.”
Nancy’s explanation made Neo realize once again that he was once more influenced by established knowledge. Light equals elevation, darkness equals degeneration. The Church of Light has influenced this world for thousands of years, so naturally it promotes such theories. If it were the Church of Darkness, people’s general perception would likely be completely reversed. Just like those creatures that have lived in dark regions for generations, the surface world is merely a hunting ground they find interesting—not a suitable place to settle. They despise and hate that giant ball of fire that rises into the sky every day, shining brightly.
Thus,Neo walked unashamedly down the path of degeneration in the eyes of others, using dark tactics and bloody slaughter. Relying on his high defense, high evasion, and high recovery stats, his fighting style was even more ferocious than that of the monsters themselves. Many twice-evolved monsters were killed outright after he charged at them and smashed them relentlessly. His killing efficiency was almost equivalent to that of a dozen core fighters led by a cavalry officer in their final stages.
Yet even so, it was an undeniable fact that more and more twice-evolved monsters were appearing.Neo didn’t engage in prolonged battles; whenever his charge skill cooled down, he would immediately use it, because only then were his aggressive charges most effective. Eventually, he could hardly move forward without using “Charge,” and had to rely solely on defensive maneuvers.
After fighting like this for an hour or so, even the monsters were terrified. They had seen many long-lived creatures, but none as enduring as him. Not to mention his stamina, which far exceeded that of ordinary people. Even ifNeo could conserve energy to an extreme degree, he would never be able to sustain such intense combat for more than a quarter of an hour.
At this point,Neo had no idea how many monsters he had killed. In any case, he had become a thoroughly blood-soaked monster—his own blood, the monsters’ blood, all over his armor, clothes, claws, head, and face. He had gone from being covered in blood to being consumed by a thirst for blood, to the point where his appearance was unrecognizable.
The thousand-meter-wide continental road was completely cleared byNeo as he charged from south to north. When he leaped into a valley, the monsters behind him followed in droves, no longer just pouring in like dumplings but in a tidal wave. The monsters were also desperate, and they could tell thatNeo was at his limit.
Yes,Neo really couldn’t hold on anymore. His most effective recovery method, the Heavy Water Shield Guardians, had completely run out of power. Not only today, but even for the next week, he wouldn’t be able to summon them again—assuming he continued to use water element essence to recover daily; otherwise, it would take twice as long, then four times as long.
Without the Heavy Water Shield Guardians,Neo lost any chance to catch his breath and naturally fell into a vicious cycle. In such a situation, he truly had to fight to the death.
There were naturally monsters in the valley. In fact, ifNeo hadn’t been prepared in advance by making two aerial turns, the energy attacks shooting down from above alone would have turned him into a roasted duck. The melee attacks of twice-evolved monsters were the kind he feared the most. A direct confrontation would cause him immense damage, enough to offset 7–10 energy-based attacks.
After diving down from a 30-meter-high cliff,Neo’s pressure eased significantly. Relying on the cliff face, at least one side was free from monster attacks. As for those monsters attacking from the air, they were still common even on the continental road.
The trouble in the valley was that moving forward became increasingly difficult. There was no spacious area for him to maneuver around, and even when charging, his options were very limited. The monsters also seemed to know how to block him. Moreover, the road conditions in the valley were nowhere near as good as those on the continental road, soNeo’s progress slowed down further and further.
Neo was well aware that once his speed dropped to a certain level, he would be completely surrounded and gradually exhausted to death, with no chance of breaking free. So at this moment, he preferred to endure greater damage to his body rather than stop advancing forcefully.
“Damage exceeds 30%, 31, 33, 36…” Nancy kept reporting Neo’s body’s damage status. At this point, fighting could no longer continue; the priority was to survive by moving forward. Once the damage reached 50%, meaning half of his life force was lost, Neo would basically be dead.
The six rune sets were activated! Neo’s way of using runes was different from usual—he would set them on fire immediately, aiming only for maximum spell effects in a short time. The rune scrolls made of Black Lambskin turned into dark flames in the air, with the energy of the six runes directly flowing into Neo’s body.
This set of runes was indeed suitable for a situation like tonight, but the problem was that a decoy was still just a decoy—it didn’t truly disappear. With Neo so close to the monsters, it was impossible to hide him; even intuition alone was enough to accurately determine his location.
Of course, Neo didn’t expect to escape instantly with just the rune scrolls. The monsters’ moment of confusion and hesitation was enough for him.
Three-stage charge!
To the monsters’ confusion, Neo’s target in the final stage of his charge was a stone wall. What did that mean? Did he intend to kill himself by crashing into it?
Boom! The rock shattered. As an entrance to a cave appeared, the monsters finally understood Neo’s plan. They didn’t know how Neo knew there was nothing behind the rock wall, but they all shared one thought: they must not let Neo escape!
“Poly!” Neo gave the order to Poly almost as soon as he rushed into the cave. Poly, who had been preparing for some time, immediately used its vine body, woven into a wall-like shield, to block numerous energy attacks and the monsters’ assaults.
Neo didn’t look back and headed straight inside. The area was now covered with roots from Poly’s multiplied vines, turning it into a root-filled cave. With enough vines to defend against the monsters, Neo finally got a chance to catch his breath.
This cave had been dug by Poly on orders. It wasn’t very deep or large, but with the Death Vines present, things changed. A vertical shaft-like area had been created, and with the help of the Death Vines, Neo descended more than ten meters underground, entering a shallow passage beneath the mountain’s dark region.
“Huff, huff!” Neo panted, barely able to stand. With a wave of his hand, eight rat-like monsters appeared out of thin air. These first-evolution monsters, parasitized by Bloodthorn seedlings, were chosen by Neo as carriers. Though now altered by blood energy and trapped in the Boiling Blood Ring, their combat strength and intelligence were far below that of ordinary people. Yet here, they were useful for monitoring the surroundings.
After deploying his guardians, Neo immediately applied Life Touch to his most severely injured areas, then spread Life Wave throughout his body, followed by releasing the Water Totem. After that, he collapsed to the ground, immersing his mind in deep meditation.
The juvenile Aberrant Camphor, carrying the bag like a little pup, completed its task, and Thorn immediately detached itself from this carrier to join the Vampiric Vine. Now that Nio was fully recovering, the Vampiric Vine could naturally contribute as well. The front line was in full swing with battles against monsters, making it perfect for the Vampiric Vine to go there and feed on corpses.
At this moment, Duomian took on its usual beast form, turning into a stomach that housed several monsters inside before sealing the entrance. Inside, battles and the digestion of blood food took place. The real killers lurking in this cave were the Blood Guardians. Influenced by the Aberrant Howl Spirit, the Blood Guardians resembled Howls in appearance and, like them, possessed the ability of secondary teleportation. Fighting them, whether at range or up close, carried a 20% chance of missed attacks. Their mastery of blood energy made them even more cunning and elusive. Nio had sent them out early in the battle to prey and exploit the situation. Due to their non-living nature and cunning, the monsters never managed to focus on dealing with both of them, allowing the Blood Guardians to take advantage of them bit by bit.
Having absorbedlarge quantities of of blood energy, the Blood Guardians had become extremely powerful. Combined with Duomian’s web of vines, piercing attacks, and the Vampiric Vines—controlled by Thorn, tough as steel cables and swift as pythons—launching surprise attacks disguised as Duomian’s vine thorns, and later the arrival of the Vampiric Vine, they took advantage of opportunities to bury half of the monsters’ bodies in the soil. With such coordination, just a few monsters brought in would soon be slaughtered. More monsters were then introduced, and this cycle continued. The small cave gradually turned into a slaughterhouse, with the four entities each getting what they wanted, feeding and coordinating more and more seamlessly.
The monsters were aware of the importance of destroying the Blood Vine Gate, but Duomian had prepared thoroughly. There were multiple gates, and they could be reproduced at any time. Whenever the monsters concentrated their energy to attack, Duomian would lift or untangle the vines. When the monsters tried to rush in, they encountered multiple layers of obstacles. By handling them separately in this way, its efficiency was even higher than Nio’s. In just over ten minutes, more than 30 second-evolved monsters died inside.
After fighting for another ten minutes, even Nio returned to the battlefield, injured. This doubled the efficiency. In the third ten-minute period alone, over 70 second-evolved monsters died, while Nio’s injuries stabilized, reducing his damage to less than 15%, with his condition showing clear signs of improvement.
With no way in and heavy losses, the monsters didn’t just keep attacking blindly. Driven by some of the second-evolved monsters, the first-evolved core members and unevolved minions began digging at the outer layers of the rock walls. “Aren’t you a stomach with strong digestive power? Instead of burrowing in, I’ll dig out the entire stomach and destroy it from the outside. What will you do then?”
What to do? Of course, fight back!
Upon noticing the movements of the monsters, Neo immediately made this decision. He was well aware that despite their astonishing numbers and the advantage of having undergone two evolutions, these chaotic creatures were still at their weakest point overall. He didn’t know how many similar situations existed acrossthe entire Shilfanis or the entireAimera continent, but seizing such an opportunity was already a great fortune. If he missed today, dealing with these monsters would likely cost him ten times or even a hundred times more, with results probably no better than half of what he could achieve today.
“If I die in battle, I will return to your embrace sooner. If I survive, I will understand your way and follow your laws, unwaveringly!”
Howl…
At this moment, the wildness of the werewolf was evident in Neo. With a battle cry of faith, his veins swelled with power, while his will became even more focused, calm, and resolute.
As a warrior, he launched a three-stage charge, delivering a devastating dark slash! His claws, enhanced by the effects of petrifying weapons, emitted a dark golden glow. With those claws, Neo’s arms became sharp blades. Over 20 monsters died suddenly as a result of this three-stage charge.
“You’ve improved…” Nancy’s praise confirmed the truth. To be able to channel power to such a degree, combining the power of the earth with darkness into a dark golden hue—this was an effect that Neo had only achieved by using dark magic before. Now, he did it entirely on his own. Not only had his body, as an energy vessel, reached the necessary condition, but his will too—when his fighting spirit was high, when he chose bravery, after going through numerous life-and-death battles—finally allowed him to break through and grasp this amazing sensation: a terrifying, unstoppable force as deep as night and as solid as mountains.
The techniques he used to defeat the challengers sent by Gusby were displayed once again. Here, with no one but enemies around, he had no need to hesitate.
Boom! Boom! Boom! As Neo’s blade-like arms swung, the concentrated energy attacks from the twice-evolved monsters were sliced apart. Although the powerful energy blasts scorched his Blood Vine armor, even his clothes and skin, leaving signs of charring, this breakthrough meant Neo could now confront about 10 ordinary energy attacks at levels 7–9 with minimal damage—something of immense significance.
Hiss… Emerging from the burst of energy, Neo’s body seemed to be on fire, radiating dark golden energy flames, though these flames were contracting and curling inward. Indeed, he was absorbing the shattered residual energy. With this breakthrough, Neo’s levels as both warrior and shaman surpassed 5, bringing his total level above 10. The signs and abilities he displayed were truly formidable.
What Neo didn’t know was that Nancy was the busiest at this moment. Such breakthroughs in battle were exactly what she wanted to see—their dynamics resembled those of the Alien Vine under Neo’s control. In this state, the vitality was at its peak, and the material was most malleable; this phenomenon was called “thermal fusion.” Adding mystical elements in this state was far better than using “Condensed Injection,” which required sleeping in an energy therapy chamber to break through to level 5. Neo could save a great deal of time adapting to new elements this way. Thermal fusion and Condensed Injection were terms coined by Nancy while helping Neo study the properties of the Alien Vine. However, unlike Neo, cold was the “heat” for the Alien Vine.
“A power breakthrough is certain. Should we also include blood energy elements?”
Neo fully understood Nancy’s question. Level 5 was referred to as those with elemental powers, meaning they had awakened and confirmed their elemental strengths. He had already reached this stage of awakening, while confirmation meant that the power traits would remain unchangeable—once fixed, they could not be altered. Even if new, more powerful types of energy emerged later, they would remain external and unable to truly integrate into the body, unless he could take the step of igniting the divine flame, which would require a complete reshaping of everything.
Ever since obtaining blood energy, Nancy had been analyzing it. Since Neo wasn’t from the Kales people, he knew little about this energy type. Relying solely on incomplete information, her deductions weren’t perfect, but even so, the few highlights it showed were enough to intrigue Neo. Now that Nancy proposed this option, he didn’t find it sudden or hasty.
“Include it!”
“The energy environment isn’t suitable—fully activate the Boiling Blood Ring!”
Whoosh! Blood energy was released from the Boiling Blood Ring, forming liquid energy resembling blood that surged wildly.
At the same time, Neo’s outer skin peeled off like peeling old wall paint in the wind. On his forehead, the frantic activity of the elemental pool revealed a third eye that emitted light. The flowing blood energy was drawn toward Neo by the light from this third eye.
For ordinary fighters or spellcasters, the moment of breakthrough is the weakest, not only due to physical instability but also because it requires conscious control. Thus, most professionals break through to levels 5, 10, 15, etc., while in their peak condition, choosing a quiet and safe place to do so. Some break through mid-battle on the battlefield, often opting to delay the breakthrough or quickly escape to find a place to do it.
Neo, however, was the opposite. For him, it was a crucial moment for remolding and awakening his power furnace. With five layers of consciousness managing everything and Nancy’s assistance, various elements were added one by one, like additives in alloy forging, continuously revealing the power traits associated with each element—like continuous bursts of strength. It could be said that this was his strongest moment. Before reaching level 10, no other moment could surpass its intensity per unit of time.
The monsters didn’t know this. Seeing Neo seemingly preoccupied and unstable, they seized the opportunity to swarm at him.
Dark Tide! This powerful force, brought by the witch Dasthney and lingering like a persistent plague, affecting Neo’s path forward, erupts for the first time now, revealing its true power! Darker than dusk, blacker than the abyss—this profound darkness surges like a tide, engulfing everything. The ancient spells that shape power require no recitation by Neo; the mere flow of energy in the void generates obscure syllables. These sounds of energy are as if the universe itself is chanting spells, echoing throughout the area. At this darkest hour before dawn, its power reaches its peak, drawing out every trace of dark energy in the region, then invoking magical effects through these spells. The raging dark forces overwhelm all monsters, creating massive energy vortices. Inside these vortices, the monsters are like rootless duckweed, helpless and unable to perceive anything outside—only darkness remains in their senses. Terrified screams and cries form an ocean of sound, adding an eerie intensity to this silent tide. “Water!” Neo, who controls the four elements, needs only a thought—his amplified affinity for elements is enough to make him a master of water control. Ice and snow melt into water, forming countless blueish lights that create towering waves that lift Neo upward. “Wind!” Wind elements are summoned, glowing and transforming into a pair of blue wings, granting Neo the ability to fly. He heads straight for the continental roads, where there are more monsters. The Dark Tide turns into true monstrous waves, swallowing and submerging countless monsters. Faced with such overwhelming force, the monsters have no choice but to scream and flee for their lives. But no matter how fast they run, can they outpace the surge of energy? Moreover, Neo has other methods. “Earth!” Though Neo’s control over the four elements pales in comparison to his control over dark energy, he can still cause widespread ground tremors. Pale golden light flashes, spreading across the land like ripples, shaking and disturbing everything. Affected by this, the monsters cannot run fast enough. “Hurry! The Superpower Phase is ending—there’s no time!” “Fire!” Neo ignites all the fire elements in the area, as if the entire world is set ablaze instantly. Countless sparks fly through the air, exploding before they can gather—seemingly weak, but if one includes the explosions within the monsters themselves, they can cause tremendous trouble in that instant. A series of devastating attacks, an unstoppable horror—these crush the monsters’ will to fight, exactly as Neo intends.
Blood Sacrifice Energy Absorption – the ultimate power-merging trait was combined with the absorption of life force in a superhuman state due to temporary power issues. The result was akin to casting an extremely powerful blood-burning forbidden spell. Amidst agonizing collective screams and convulsions, the blood of countless monsters seeped from their skin, turning into vibrant red vapor that formed blazing red masses. This power grew like a snowball, becoming ever greater as more energy accumulated. Even those monsters that had initially managed to control their evolution could no longer resist it and began to burn in even more horrific ways. Then came the second-evolved monsters. If ordinary monsters were like small campfires, they were like massive bonfires, floating and glowing within the giant vortexes created by the dark tide, until they were reduced to ashes.
Neo did not indulge in the awe-inspiring power of the superhuman spells. At the climax, he instinctively invoked the magic array obtained from the Moon Goddess’s seal, and even the power of the World Tree was revealed.
The clouds dispersed, and the cool light of the hidden setting moon shone down. From a great distance, it seemed merely a small opening in the sky from which beams of moonlight fell, quickly turning blood-red.
A blood moon – a sign of extreme outbreak of dark power. To be illuminated by this blood moon light, countless monsters that had already fled turned back, only to become unexpected “desserts.” There was only one exception: the monster that had first achieved third evolution by using the skin of a Foul Vein being. By then, the power of the dark tide had fully subsided. Hidden among the other monsters, it took advantage of their cover, risking injury from the power of Blood Sacrifice Energy Absorption to steal a sliver of blood moon light, then fled.
At such a critical moment, Neo had no time to worry about it. In the blood-red moonlight, the power of the World Tree did not manifest as a soaring green glow but gradually formed a giant pale green projection resembling a world tree before disappearing. In Neo’s consciousness realm, the seed of the World Tree finally sprouted.
The gains this time were undoubtedly huge. Even the energy treatment chamber, thanks to the abundant energy, not only completed its cooling time ahead of schedule but also shortened its cooling cycle to just 5 days.
“Hurry! Get into the energy treatment chamber! The power is too strong to control!”
Neo could also feel as though he might explode any second. Yet even in that moment, he didn’t forget to give the Heavy Water Shield Guards some good fortune. With the water element surge gathered using superhuman power, the Heavy Water Shield Guards could not only recover their strength but also become even more formidable than before.
With the protection of the Polyhedral Guardians, Blood Guards, Heavy Water Shield Guards, Thorns, and Spines, Neo wasn’t worried about safety. In the cave where the Polyhedral Guardians had hidden earlier, Neo used the pressure from the energy treatment chamber to externally suppress the risk of his body collapsing due to temporary overconsumption.
In the world of consciousness…
“Neo, you must never act on your own again like this. Do you realize that just a slight mistake could have ruined you completely?”
“I also suddenly felt that way. It’s hard to describe…” Neo scratched his head and looked at the blood moon in the sky. “Fortunately, the outcome was good. That’s a good sign, right?”
“The power of madness erupts; under its influence, the growth rate of other entities doubles. From now on, planting plants can match the growth rate of the War Heather’s thorns.” In fact, the benefits go beyond this—such as the enhancement brought by the power of the World Tree, which boosts the strength of all skills affected by it, while also significantly increasing the upper limit of physical strength and mental power. More importantly, Neo finally took a crucial step forward by being able to directly absorb dark power from the outside world for his own use. This ability, which mages possessed even at level 1 but was previously restricted by factors like race and initial class, had always been his weakness. The ability to directly absorb this power meant he had broken through the barrier between magic and combat—at least when it came to dark power. A warrior’s combat energy could now be absorbed as quickly as a mage’s, which made him seem somewhat unfair to his future opponents. However, Neo wasn’t the only exception. Though magic swordsmen were rare, there were no fewer than two thousand registered among the three major factions, including werewolves. The truly unique ones were the shamans and their clearly more powerful plant-based systems. Neo was indeed the first to possess both the ability to use bloodthirst skills and the dark moon blood shaman warrior abilities tied to plants. Neo didn’t stay in the energy therapy chamber for long this time, but the changes were enormous. First, the “size reduction” discussed earlier was accomplished—not in terms of appearance or weight, but through the condensation of key parts of his body. After this transformation, Neo’s body was divided into a Alchemy Layer, a Reinforcement Layer, and a Proliferation Layer. The Proliferation Layer existed solely to address the need for disguise, functioning as flesh armor that could be dispelled at will. The Reinforcement Layer allowed for various strengthening measures, focusing solely on power without regard for long-term consequences. This layer was what Nancy was most eager for, as it was foreseeable that it would undergo numerous changes in the future, whether through medication or magic. Training in the Alchemy Layer was rather tedious—describing it as refining each cell individually wouldn’t be an exaggeration. Aside from the extremely high intensity of training, it was a slow process with no immediate results, making it the epitome of boredom. After leaving the energy therapy chamber, Neo reverted to Gusby’s appearance, naturally adorned with some injuries that could only be imagined to reflect the brutality of last night’s battle. He had no clothes on; he simply covered himself with a few torn pieces of cloth. Although the weather wasn’t warm, Neo didn’t feel very cold. Still, he needed to find clothes to wear—otherwise, running for his life until drenched in sweat, stripped of his armor and clothes, would be rather awkward.
Neo first checked his main items: the Soul Collar, the Semen Chain, the Water Condensing Snail, and the Miao Crystal—all were there and intact. The only problem was the Blood-Boiling Ring. To gain blood energy capabilities yesterday, its energy was almost depleted, costing the life of several puppets created in the Blood Rock Cave, including the Melted Slag Puppet. This was necessary to activate the power for blood sacrifice energy absorption. As a result, though countless monsters were killed, the blood energy obtained was limited due to not meeting the standards, resulting in only 4 drops of pure Essence Blood. Nancy said that to increase this amount, it would likely be more direct to go to Kales and kill those ancient monsters over a thousand years old; otherwise… even a hundred ordinary people couldn’t produce a single drop of Essence Blood. It takes 100 drops of Essence Blood to make one drop of Pure Essence Blood, and 100 drops of Pure Essence Blood to make one drop of pure Essence Blood—meaning an enormous number of people would need to be killed.
The Blood Rock Puppets were destroyed, and the Blood-Boiling Ring lost its primary value. With only a little remaining blood energy, it could still maintain a small-scale Blood-Boiling Space. Besides collecting Blood Vine Rhododendrons, Neo also selected 12 corpses of monsters that had evolved twice. These were all to be attacked by the Northern Blood Vine Rhododendron and used as flesh puppets for refinement. Once Neo had time, with Nancy’s guidance, he could transform the energy crystal shell given by Baron Klu Liu into an intelligent brain clone, which could assist the Blood Vine Rhododendrons in handling complex tasks. This would help relieve the pressure on Thorn and Spine. Even the young Abnormal Rhododendrons, those capable of transforming into Falcon Rhododendrons or Small Beast Rhododendrons, could rely on the intelligent brain clone to carry out complex tasks. However, due to the limited number of energy crystal shells, only 6–7 intelligent brain clones could be created, which was still less compared to the 12 each possessed by the Blood Vine Rhododendrons and Abnormal Rhododendrons.
Blood Guard and Polyhedron had also returned to the Blood-Boiling Space. These two were typical double-edged swords. Neo had once considered whether to include them in last night’s feast, but now he wasn’t too worried. He had made a major breakthrough and gained control over blood energy, allowing him to better monitor and manage the conditions of these blood-energy beings. Aside from Polyhedron’s twisted soul still being a problem, the Abnormal Howling Soul would simply take time before being completely consumed by blood energy and fully under Neo’s control.
After organizing his thoughts, Neo took a deep breath. Daybreak was approaching. Although the gloom seemed to persist, just like the current situation, Neo’s heart was filled with confidence. “My future is very promising…”
