Chapter 0025: It’s You!

Ren Tai Ruo couldn’t figure out why he had angered the other party. Of course, he wasn’t stupid enough to think it was because of his investigations.
“Why?!” Tai Ruo roared, simultaneously attacking En Di, the Golden-Eyed Purple Ape.
Tai Ruo’s roar contained anger, shock, and countless feelings of confusion.
Yet, the Yellow Dragon gave him no explanation. Instead, it unleashed a series of Minor Five-Element Divine Thunder bolts at the knights of the knightly order on the ground.
Gui Water Divine Thunder, Bing Fire Divine Thunder, Yi Wood Divine Thunder, Wu Earth Divine Thunder, Geng Metal Divine Thunder!
The sound of the Minor Five-Element Divine Thunder boomed!
Thunder flashed in the night sky, with continuous explosions!
The knights on the ground were horrified to discover that those thumb-sized bolts possessed terrifying destructive power—nothing short of a nightmare for them!
Those hit by them either fainted instantly or had their flesh turned to charcoal!
But the nightmare had only just begun. In their terrified eyes, the Five-Palace Divine Cauldron in the Yellow Dragon’s hand suddenly flew out, growing huge in midair, as big as a small mountain.
Boom! It crashed down.
The ground trembled. With that strike from the Five-Palace Divine Cauldron, not only were five deep holes left in the ground but also several human-shaped scorched remains.
What was this? Seeing the mountain-sized Five-Palace Divine Cauldron in the air, everyone present was stunned.
Whether it was Tai Ruo or Bog, even the two Sacred Realm magical beasts, Pi Er and En Di, had never seen the Yellow Dragon’s Five-Palace Divine Cauldron before.
Others might not understand, but Bog clearly saw it was the ring that the mysterious young master, the Yellow Dragon, usually wore on his hand.
Turbulence surged once again in Bog’s heart.
Like everyone else, countless doubts flashed through Bog’s mind.
A cauldron weapon? This was the first time they had ever seen such a weapon!
On the Hengyuan Continent, magicians generally used wands, while warriors used swords, knives, spears, axes, etc. But cauldron weapons—especially ones that could grow and shrink—were something they had never seen before.
Could this be a divine artifact?
As everyone was puzzled, the Yellow Dragon controlled the Five-Palace Divine Cauldron to strike the knightly order again, shouting, “What are you standing around for? Attack!”
It was this shout that snapped Bog out of his shock. Panicked, he replied, “Yes, young master!” and then attacked the knightly order.
As a Sacred Realm magician, Bog immediately cast a water-based forbidden spell, Icebound Snowfield, freezing everything on the ground around them.
This was something the Yellow Dragon had planned earlier. Upon arrival, the two beasts would first use two forbidden spells against the knightly order to eliminate more than half of their forces, after which Bog and the Yellow Dragon would deal with the remaining knights.
Meanwhile, the two beasts would face off against Tai Ruo and that Luo Feng.

Originally, the strength of both sides was roughly equal, or at least not far apart. But now, one side has completely dominated—the Yellow Dragon holds an absolute advantage.
Tai Ruo is at the middle stage of the Sacred Realm, while Luo Feng is only at the early stage. As for the two beasts, they are both at the middle stage of the Sacred Realm. In front of the Golden-Eyed Purple Ape Endi, Tai Ruo is still holding his own and it’s hard to see any signs of defeat. But in front of the Cave Dragon Piel, Luo Feng is already retreating step by step after just a short while, at a severe disadvantage. If this continues, he will eventually become a soul at Piel’s feet.
While the two beasts were locked in fierce battle, the Yellow Dragon’s side was engaged in outright slaughter.
Borg practiced water magic. Although water magic has the weakest offensive power among the various types of magic, it’s still quite powerful when wielded by a strong being of the Sacred Realm. A rain of water swords filled the air, and the icy cold made the knights, most of whom were only at level seven or eight, feel as though their souls were freezing solid.
The four level-nine warriors in the knightly order weren’t as badly affected, but even they could only barely hold their ground against Borg, a mid-stage Sacred Realm mage.
After using the Five Pits Divine Cauldron, the Yellow Dragon took out several spirit talismans. To create these talismans, he invested a great deal of mental energy. After taking them out, he mercilessly threw them all at the knights trapped in the icy snow on the ground, then used the spiritual energy within the talismans to draw in the elemental energies from the world around him.
A thunderous roar! Lightning exploded, a sea of fire spread, and a storm swept through. Though not as destructive as what Borg, the Sacred Realm mage, could unleash, the impact was still immense, even startling Borg.
Magic scrolls? Absolutely not. After pondering for a moment, Borg firmly dismissed the idea. He hadn’t sensed any magical fluctuations earlier, and he had never seen a magic scroll written on ordinary paper. On the Eternal Yuan Continent, no matter what level the magic scroll was, it was always written on the skin of magical beasts.
Watching the situation from the battle against the Golden-Eyed Purple Ape Endi, Tai Ruo grew anxious and angry. Especially when he saw Luo Feng in grave danger under the fierce attack of the Cave Dragon, he finally roared helplessly, “Let’s go!”
At this point, they had no choice but to abandon the knightly order. They were strong beings of the Sacred Realm; if they wanted to leave, their opponents couldn’t stop them—unless those opponents were far stronger than them.
After roaring in anger, Tai Ruo cast a fire spell at the Golden-Eyed Purple Ape Endi and then turned to flee. Seeing this, Luo Feng followed closely behind.
Flee? The Yellow Dragon watched the two turning to escape with a slight smirk on his lips.

Before arriving, he had already set up an ancient formation around the area—the Four Phases Six Symbols Formation. Out of caution, he added a Star Great Formation as well, effectively isolating the ten-mile radius from the outside world. This was why Huang Long and his companions could fight and slaughter for so long without anyone else arriving.

Earlier, the two beasts and Bog appeared first to hold back Tai Ruo and the others, giving Huang Long time to set up the formations.

As time passed, Tai Ruo and Luo Feng managed to escape, but to their confusion, they seemed to be circling in place. Under the pursuit of the two beasts, they couldn’t get out no matter what.

No, this can’t be real—it must be an illusion!

By the time they saw the corpses of the knights from the Order of Knights lying there for the sixth time, their eyes were blood-red, and they were screaming, showing signs of collapse.

By then, Huang Long and Bog had already dealt with the Order of Knights. When Tai Ruo and Luo Feng turned back for the seventh time, Huang Long unleashed the Immortal Binding Rope.

Unprepared, they were instantly tied up.

However, the Immortal Binding Rope was made from the sinews of a ninth-level magical beast, so it was torn apart by the immense power emitted by Tai Ruo and Luo Feng, two powerful warriors from the Sacred Realm.

Huang Long wasn’t surprised by this, as he hadn’t expected to be able to bind them completely. Just binding them for a moment was enough.

At that instant, the devastating attacks from the two beasts, Peer and Endi, who had caught up, sent them flying. When they hit the ground, Luo Feng’s life force had already been severed, while Tai Ruo was barely alive. A blow from behind by Peer had shattered his heart vessels earlier, and his life force was slowly fading.

Lifting his heavy eyelids, Tai Ruo looked at the mysterious Divine Artisan standing before him. He still didn’t understand why the other party wanted to kill him.

“W-why?” Tai Ruo rasped, using all his strength. Without knowing the reason, he couldn’t die in peace.

Huang Long stepped forward, looking down at Tai Ruo lying there with a cold smile. “Why? Arch-Cardinal in Red, have you forgotten who I am?” With that, Huang Long dispersed the white mist surrounding him.

When Huang Long’s face became clearly visible to Tai Ruo, his eyes widened as if he had seen something unimaginable. His old face was filled with utter shock. “It’s you!” After saying that, his head slumped weakly.

He could never have imagined that the mysterious Divine Artisan was actually the child he had seen a month ago.

So that’s how it is… That was his last thought before dying.
