Chapter 46: The Three Alliance Leaders

Qu Yi quickly imprinted his soul mark on the King of Colorful Toads and the Soul Flower descended from it, turning the two beasts into his pets.
In fact, as soon as the two beasts mentioned that Tianfu Star possessed the Soul Devouring Aura, the God of Tools immediately used his divine perception to scan the entire Tianfu Star and located the source of the aura. Thus, even after killing the two beasts, Qu Yi could still find the Soul Devouring Aura on his own.
However, considering the information the two beasts provided—and the fact that they were both six-star Tianpo Demons with innate poison-based abilities, which could be useful to him—Qu Yi decided not to kill them and instead turned them into his pets.
At that moment, the King of Colorful Toads and the Soul Flower descended from it lay on the ground, looking listless.
Qu Yi smiled and said, “There’s no need for you to be sad. Following me will bring you more benefits. Alright, I’ll put you in the Dimensional Sphere for now. I’ll let you out when I need you.”
Without waiting for the two beasts to respond, Qu Yi immediately enclosed them in the Dimensional Sphere.
Soon after, Qu Yi activated the Boundless Stars and returned to the entrance of Tianfu Star’s primal energy veins.
“Your Majesty, you’re back,” said the Golden Lord, Wooden Lord, Water Lord, and Earth Lord, smiling as they saw Qu Yi reappear.
“Master,” greeted nearly a hundred powerful demon beasts respectfully.
Qu Yi nodded and then said, “The King of Colorful Toads and the Soul Flower descended from it have been tamed by me. As for those Winged Ice Snakes, they haven’t reached the other Tiangang Stars yet. You don’t need to go out for now. Come with me into the Dimensional Sphere.”
With that, Qu Yi sent a thought, and one by one, the powerful demon beasts disappeared.
Inside the Dimensional Sphere, Qu Yi, the Golden Lord, Wooden Lord, Water Lord, and Earth Lord sat together on a giant rock by a lake.
“I already know where the Soul Devouring Aura is. Given its power to poison even high-ranking Tianhen Immortals, the four of you won’t be of much help. So it’s better if I go alone,” Qu Yi said with a smile.
The Golden Lord, Wooden Lord, Water Lord, and Earth Lord were all pure primal beings, unlike Qu Yi, who had a chaotic body and could not withstand the attack of the Soul Devouring Aura.
“Your Majesty, we really don’t want to go either. After all these killings, our souls have reached the level of three-star Tianpo Immortals. So we need to enter the primal energy veins now to raise our cultivation to that level,” the Golden Lord said happily.
The Wooden Lord, Water Lord, and Earth Lord also smiled broadly.

It turned out that the four of them used the “Soul Refining Art” to each refine a Soul Flower of a Five-Star Heavenly Soul Fiend. During this time, through continuous battles, they discovered a new form of world energy, which allowed them to elevate their soul realms to Three-Star Heavenly Soul Immortals. Upon hearing this, Qu Yi’s eyes lit up, and he exclaimed joyfully, “That’s even better! I’ll take you to the Origin Heavenly Vein Cave right now.” After saying that, Qu Yi immediately contacted the Soul of the Fire Lord in the Immortal Realm and learned that the Fire Lord had also raised his soul realm to Three-Star Heavenly Soul Immortal. He decided to go and bring the Fire Lord over to the Origin Heavenly Vein right away. Currently, Qu Yi controlled five Origin Heavenly Veins, enough for five Immortals to enter each one to advance their cultivation.

The Fire Lord now resided on Fire Glow Star in the Immortal Realm. Nominalmente, he was under Luo Xinyun’s tutelage, but in reality, he was under strict surveillance by Huang Xu, the leader of the Fire Glow Alliance. On Fire Glow Star, there was only land—except for the Tianxia Region, which had green vegetation, all other areas were devoid of plants, with only sky-fire spewing craters everywhere. In the Tianxia Region, the caves of all powerful Heavenly Immortals were arranged in concentric circles, with Huang Xu’s Fire Glow Palace at the center. In this concentric layout, a One-Star Heavenly Soul Immortal’s cave was located in the outermost circle, while those with higher cultivation levels had caves further inward. Luo Xinyun, now at the level of Four-Star Heavenly Soul Immortal, still had his cave on the periphery of the Tianxia Region. Naturally, the Fire Lord’s cave was built around Luo Xinyun’s cave, thus also on the periphery of the Tianxia Region. The Fire Lord was currently in his own cave, sitting on a jade platform, meditating with closed eyes. Suddenly, Qu Yi appeared. “Your Majesty, you’ve come,” said the Fire Lord, opening his eyes and smiling. The Fire Lord had already placed restrictions in his cave, so even if Huang Xu’s immortal senses scanned the area, they wouldn’t be able to detect anything inside. Qu Yi nodded and smiled, saying, “Fire Lord, let’s go. In the Origin Heavenly Vein Cave, one year will be enough for you to reach the level of Three-Star Heavenly Soul Immortal.” The Fire Lord laughed and immediately flew over to Qu Yi. “Your Majesty, you already know where the Soul Devouring Energy is. Once you get it, let me use it,” said the Fire Lord with a smile. Qu Yi’s eyes sparkled as he understood the Fire Lord’s plan. He replied, “Alright. Since you’re currently with Huang Xu, take the chance to apply this Soul Devouring Energy to him in the future. It’s just as good to fulfill the promise made to Emperor Hao in the Vast Heaven Immortal Mansion by having you do it.” The Fire Lord nodded.

Soon, Qu Yi brought the Fire Vessel into the Inch Realm Ball, then activated the Boundless Stars to return to the Fiend Realm. Next, Qu Yi sent the Gold Vessel into the Tianjiu Star’s primal energy vein in the Mulin Star Region, the Wood Vessel into the Tianshou Star’s primal energy vein in the same region, the Water Vessel into the Tiansu Star’s primal energy vein in the Shuiyang Star Region, the Fire Vessel into the Tianfu Star’s primal energy vein in the Shuiyang Star Region, and the Earth Vessel into the Tianxian Star’s primal energy vein in the Tuba Star Region. A year later, Qu Yi would retrieve the five vessels again. After finishing everything, Qu Yi went to a mysterious place on Tianfu Star, located on the east side of the Tianfu Continent—a natural desolate area known as the Fiendish Desolation. The Soul Devouring Aura resided deep within this desolation.

Mulin Star Region, Mulin Star. As the core of the entire Mulin Star Region, Mulin Star had always been the dwelling place of powerful Fiend Beasts, along with some subordinates brought by those powerful beings. As its name suggested, Mulin Star was entirely land covered in trees. The powerful Fiend Beasts lived in Sky Cloud Trees—mysterious trees whose green leaves regularly emitted white mist-like clouds. When all the leaves emitted mist at once, it created a spectacular sight. Sky Cloud Trees usually stood tens of thousands of meters tall, with one tree visible only from afar. Due to their rarity, they symbolized status and thus became the dwelling places of the powerful Fiend Beasts on Mulin Star. The leader of the Mulin Alliance was Void, whose true form was the Void Sky Snake. Void lived on the tallest and largest Sky Cloud Tree on Mulin Star, meditating atop its crown most of the time, descending to the ground only when necessary to handle matters. At that moment, Void was at the base of the Sky Cloud Tree, facing a man with the cultivation level of a One-Star Tianpo Fiend. Void was tall and slender, exuding a cold aura, with a dark expression as if ready to attack at any moment, making it hard to breathe—this truly reflected the traits of his Void Sky Snake form. “Xing Meng, what’s Qu Yi’s current activity?” Void asked calmly. It turned out that Void had already known of Qu Yi’s existence since he attacked Tianjiu Star and Tianshou Star. After all, he had also sent Jun Wei to the Cultivation Realm, and through the messages sent back, Void learned some about Qu Yi. The man named Xing Meng replied calmly, “Leader, Qu Yi has now attacked Tianfu Star in the Shuiyang Star Region, defeated the Poison Frog Tribe, and seized another primal energy vein. Now, we’ve lost track of him again; we don’t know which planet he’ll attack next.”

Void nodded calmly and said, “Qu Yi possesses a magic artifact that allows him to travel through dimensions, which is why I didn’t chase after him. Now that Qu Yi has fully grown strong, it’s impossible to deal with him in the Fiend Realm. The only chance lies in the Realm of Falling Stars and the Divine Realm.”

Upon hearing this, Xing Meng’s expression changed in shock. Although he knew of the existence of the Realm of Falling Stars and the Divine Realm, he had never been there and was unaware of its dangers.

“League Leader, what we should worry about now is that perilous place on Tianfu Star—the Soul Devouring Abyss. There, there exists a deadly energy that consumes souls. If Qu Yi finds out about this, he’s likely to go there to seize it, which would be very dangerous for us,” Xing Meng said anxiously.

Indeed, upon hearing this, Void could no longer maintain his calm expression. Even he couldn’t withstand the First Poisonous Energy.

“Alright, I’m aware of the situation on Tianfu Star. You go handle other matters,” Void said indifferently. Xing Meng immediately flew away.

At that moment, Void took out a communication card and quickly sent two messages, contacting Yan Shui, the leader of the Shuiyang League, and Liu Ying, the leader of the Tuba League.

Yan Shui’s true form was an electric eel, while Liu Ying’s was a Flowing Shadow Leopard.

After sending the messages, Void flew up to the crown of the Sky Cloud Tree and sat down, murmuring, “Yan Shui and Liu Ying have also been keeping an eye on Qu Yi’s movements. They know he might discover the Soul Devouring Abyss, so the three of us will have to work together again.”

Since the three of them went to the Cultivation Realm to hunt down Emperor Hao back then, Void, Yan Shui, and Liu Ying had remained in contact, often assisting each other in the Fiend Realm. This was what gave the Mulin League, Shuiyang League, and Tuba League the strength to confront the Golden Dragon League and the Phoenix League.

The Golden Dragon League was a faction led by the Dragon Emperor and composed of dragons. The Phoenix League, on the other hand, was led by the Phoenix and formed by various fiendish beasts of the Phoenix Star Region.

After saying that, Void closed his eyes, waiting for someone from the Mulin League to spot Qu Yi on Tianfu Star. Then, he would lead his men there to stop him.

Similarly, on Tianyang Star and Tuba Star, Yan Shui and Liu Ying, as league leaders, were also in their respective training grounds, instructing their subordinates to keep an eye on Tianfu Star. As long as Qu Yi went to the Soul Devouring Abyss, the Shuiyang League and Tuba League would intervene to stop him.

As long as Qu Yi didn’t try to seize the Soul Devouring Abyss, these three league leaders wouldn’t stop him from attacking other Heavenly Gang Planets. Only if the Soul Devouring Abyss posed a threat to them would they step in to stop Qu Yi.
