Chapter 64: Semi-God (1)
“What on earth is going on? Jerry Belfort!” The now-soul-form old dean retained all his former authority as the head of Heliorox Academy, scolding loudly with furrowed brows.
Jerry Belfort bowed slightly and said with a faint smile, “As you can see, respected Dean Riorox… no, former dean!”
“You…”
Before the old dean could finish speaking, Lilith stepped forward suddenly, looking at Vincent Flores and saying in a tone of disgust, “Why did you come here, Vincent Flores?”
“Oh, how rude!” Vincent Flores shook his head slightly and sneered at Lilith, “Is it really that shameful for you for others to know I’m your husband? After all, Lilith is an apostle of [Lust], such a powerful being, while your husband is just a weakling, right?”
“You!” Lilith was speechless, but Vincent was right—she really didn’t like him. She had married him only for family interests and saw this marriage as a disgrace, unwilling to mention it to outsiders. Ultimately, she despised Vincent Flores; in fact, she despised any man with weak strength.
Facing the strange looks from those around her, Lilith’s expression darkened. She stared intently at Vincent Flores and said in a voice that seemed to carry some magical power, “Stop messing around, Vincent! Go back. This isn’t a place for you!” As she spoke, a strange red light flashed in her pupils.
She had used Asmontis’s divine power, [Fantasy Control], a ability that could completely hypnotize and control others. No one, except apostles and those with the power to perceive laws, could escape such absolute control.
But to Lilith’s great surprise, Vincent seemed unaffected at all. He covered his forehead with his hand and laughed heartily, “Do you really like controlling your own husband so much, Lilith?”
“You…” Seeing that he wasn’t affected at all, Lilith was momentarily stunned.
“Surprised?” Vincent smiled faintly, shook his head at Lilith, and said in a tone laced with mockery, “How foolishly cute, Lilith. Don’t you wonder why I, who am under your control, am here? At this moment, I should be obediently staying in the garden at home, holding your replacement, going about my day unaware, right? Hmm, why am I here? Why?” As he spoke, his eyes began to emit a faint red glow.
It was the [Demon’s Eye], unique to apostles!
“…” Lilith was shocked. How could she have never imagined that her husband, who had always been manipulated by her, was actually an apostle too? How was that possible?!
“You… wh… why…”
“Why pretend to be under your control?” Under Lilith’s astonished gaze, Vincent Flores laughed heartily and said calmly, “What an unlovable woman you are, Lilith! Do you think LordBelfort chose to side with our Flores family? Do you think he wants to ally with you? Ha, you’re wrong. The ally he really wants is me! Your husband, whom you’ve never even bothered to look at properly!”
“You…” Lilith opened her mouth, anger showing on her face, and whispered to JerryBelfort, “Belfort, how dare you deceive me!”
“I haven’t deceived you at all, my dear lady…” JerryBelfort smiled modestly, “What I said was that I intended to ally with the Flores family, not that I intended to ally with you…”
“You… you guys…” Lilith stared at JerryBelfort in shock, then glanced at her husband, as if realizing something, and whispered, “So, you two had it all planned from the start…”
JerryBelfort chuckled and said, “Calling it a conspiracy is too harsh, my dear lady. I simply think your husband is a reliable and capable ally!”
Before Lilith could speak, Vincent Flores shook his head and said with a light laugh, “You’re too naive, Lilith! But it’s good this way—at least it distracts some people’s attention from me, ha!”
“You bastard…” Lilith gritted her teeth in anger. Just as she was about to take action, Vincent spoke in a gentle tone, “Come back to me, Lilith!”
Vincent’s gentle voice left Lilith momentarily distracted.
“I won’t blame you, Lilith. I can forgive you for all the rude things you did to me in the past, and I’ll continue to be a good husband from now on…”
“You…”
“Are you dissatisfied with me because I was too weak back then? Am I not exactly what you expect now?”
“I…”
“Come back to me, Lilith,” Vincent said with a light smile, spreading his arms toward her. “My Lilith, how can you stand with those guys? Come, be with me. Let’s work together to make the Flores family, your family, the most prominent nobles in the empire… With the three of us apostles united, it’s not even impossible to take over this world. Come back, Lilith—I’m your husband!”
“I…” Lilith looked confused. After all, though she didn’t love Vincent, she didn’t hate him either. She just couldn’t bear the thought of her husband being nothing but a mediocre, weak noble. No matter how much power he had, what did that matter in the eyes of an apostle?
Yet, she never imagined that her weak husband could also be an apostle, let alone that he would say such forgiving words…
Lilith hesitated. She had to admit that Vincent now was definitely a man worthy of her. And more importantly, although he had only been her husband in name before…
Unconsciously, she slowly walked toward Vincent. Suddenly, Allen’s loud shout interrupted her thoughts.
“Senior Lilith?!”
Hearing the disbelief in Allen’s voice, Lilith snapped out of her daze. She glanced at Sos and the others, who were frowning and silent, then at Vincent across from her. She immediately understood what was going on. Looking at Vincent, she whispered, “What… what exactly do you want to do, Vincent?”
A hint of regret and disappointment flashed in Vincent’s eyes. He looked up at Sos and the others and said calmly, “For the stability of this country, I’ve been ordered to suppress the rebels!” With that, he raised his right hand and pointed at Belial in the distance, but to everyone’s shock, his finger ended up pointing at Sos and the others.
“Are we rebels? What the hell?!” Allen laughed. He glanced at Vincent’s serious expression, then his smile gradually faded as he said in a deep voice, “Are you serious? Vincent Flores!”
Under Allen’s angry gaze, Vincent Flores snorted coldly before smiling at Scott and saying, “Sir Ogil, it seems you’re standing too close to these rebels. His Majesty might misunderstand!”
Scott frowned and glanced at Vincent Flores. Though he didn’t know why the man was so confident, he was well aware that Vincent Flores was about to act on behalf of the Saxon nobles to deal with people like Thos and Allen who defied the king’s orders.
That meant his own position would become extremely awkward. Logically, for the sake of Gallek, he shouldn’t oppose Vincent Flores, who had accepted the king’s orders. But once he chose that side, it would mean…
Scott instinctively glanced at Allen. Coincidentally, Allen was looking his way too. The two exchanged a glance and fell silent.
“What about you, Miss Hastings?” Vincent asked Nina with a smile, speaking softly. “The country needs outstanding mages like you! For someone of your talent, I’ll ask His Majesty to grant you the title of Sacred Mage!”
“A Sacred Mage, huh,” Nina shook her head slightly. Under everyone’s gaze, she walked over to Thos and said firmly, “Wherever my dearest brother is, that’s where I’ll be!”
“That’s really unfortunate!” Vincent Flores’ smile faded slightly. Without wasting more time with Nina, he turned to Scott and said with a smile, “What’s your answer, Sir Ogil?”
“I…” Scott looked around at the people around him, especially Allen, the old dean, Professor Hode, and others. When his gaze fell on Nina beside Thos, the confusion in his eyes gradually disappeared. Shaking his head, he said, “I’m sorry!”
“Is that so?” Vincent Flores smiled faintly before taking a deep breath. Under everyone’s astonished gazes, he declared loudly, “By order of His Majesty, starting today, Operiles, Altak, and Gallek will lose their autonomy. Any force that tries to stop this will be considered rebellious! The Vandor Mage Association is ordered to be dissolved, and its qualification evaluations are deemed invalid! Additionally, Allen Skander’s title of [Grand Knight] is revoked, as is Scott Ogil’s title of [Royal Guard Knight]. Wolmon Kleist and six others, including Gianna Malagigi Hastings, lose their titles as [Grand Mages]. Starting today, the Helireox Academy falls under the control of the Saxon Royal Mage Association…”
“You bastard!” Allen was surprisingly angry. Just as he was about to act, Vincent Flores raised his right hand and said with a cold smile, “Don’t be impulsive, Lord Allen Skander. Once you strike, it means admitting your rebellious identity…” As he spoke, the royal magicians behind him raised their wands.
“Hey,” Vincent Flores said with a mocking smile under Allen’s furious gaze, “It doesn’t matter if we don’t act either. For the stability of this country, you rebels must die!”
“You bastard…”
“Vincent…” The old dean frowned at Vincent Flores and said in a deep voice, “You were once a student at our Riox Academy. Why are you doing this? Have you lost your mind to the temptation of power?!”
“Ah?” Vincent Flores smiled faintly, shook his head at the old dean, and said disdainfully, “Respected Dean, your words are outdated, just like your power. Back then, we could only look up to your glorious aura. But now, the power of a grand mage is no longer significant. Since you’re already dead, just stand aside and watch!”
“You!” The old dean trembled with anger. He knew that this world was no longer the world of grand mages. In the face of the Apostles’ power, grand mages were far too weak.
The old dean’s silence didn’t mean Professor Hode was silent. After all, the old dean was the second most respected person to Professor Hode in this world—the first being his mentor, Barrett—and he was also half his grandfather, as Professor Hode had married Abel.
“You’re too arrogant, kid!” Professor Hode threw a swift fireball.
“A fireball? What an outdated trick!” Vincent sneered, waved his hand, and reflected the fireball back, several times faster than before, so fast that Professor Hode couldn’t even track it.
“Boom!”
The fireball exploded, but Professor Hode wasn’t hurt at all because Thos suddenly appeared in front of him and blocked it with his right hand.
Seeing his apprentice easily block that extremely fast fireball, Professor Hode felt both embarrassed and relieved.
“Vincent Flores, you’ve gone too far!” Thos was annoyed.
“Oho!” Vincent Flores smiled slightly, rolled up his sleeves, and said provocatively, “As expected of Volmon Kleist!”
“Tch!” Under the solemn gazes of everyone, the two vanished from their spots at the same time and began fighting at incredible speeds. Surprisingly, Vincent Flores’ strength was by no means inferior to that of Thors, who had mastered the Source Power. As they fought, the ground kept collapsing, and mountains in the distance also crumbled one after another. Winds as fierce as hurricanes swept across everyone’s faces, giving an idea of how intense the battle was. “Sigh…” Looking at the two fighting in the arena, the old dean sighed sadly, shook his head, and murmured, “We’re too old. This world no longer belongs to us; it belongs to them…” Professor Hode nodded with a bitter smile. Just then, a loud bang came from the arena. The arrogant Vincent Flores was sent flying by Thors’ holy flame, rolling across the ground for dozens of yards before stopping. His fancy suit was now in tatters. “Ha, he’s done!” Seeing Vincent Flores’ miserable state, Allen laughed heartily in glee, cheering for Thors. “Damn it…” Looking at Thors, who stood amidst a sea of white flames and stared coldly at him, and hearing Allen’s jeers, Vincent felt his face burn with heat. At that moment, Jerry Belford’s words reached his ears. “Vormon Slect—being able to predict the opponent’s moves means he’s a powerful one who has mastered the Source Power!” “Source Power?” Vincent Flores was stunned for a moment before suddenly understanding. He stood up, stared at Thors in the distance, and murmured, “No wonder I couldn’t hit him. What an amazing power…” As he spoke, a strange pale red glow appeared in his eyes as he fixed his gaze on Thors and murmured, “I really want it… I seem to desire that power…” Suddenly, everyone felt that Vincent Flores’ aura had changed. Before they could understand what was happening, there was a muffled groan. Vincent suddenly appeared in front of Thors and punched him in the abdomen, sending him flying dozens of yards away. “Wha… what’s going on?” Allen and the others were stunned. Not to mention them, even Thors was confused. He stood up, looked at his own hands, and murmured, “The Source Power… it’s gone?” He raised his head in shock, staring at Vincent in the distance, who was continuously waving his right hand, now stained with traces of flame.
“What a wonderful flame,” Vincent murmured, staring at the sacred flame swirling around Thors, a faint red glow appearing in his eyes once again. “I really want it… I really want that power…”
“Ah!” Nina covered her mouth in shock as she saw the sacred flame burning beside Thors vanish in an instant. Even more astonishing was the white flame that appeared in Vincent’s hands.
“How… what’s going on?” Thors was surprised to find himself unable to control the sacred flame. He instinctively glanced at his left arm and was stunned to see that the three hexagram magic arrays still emitted a faint light, meaning he hadn’t completely lost his sacred power.
But why? If he still had sacred power, why couldn’t he use it?
Could it be…?
Watching Thors’ bewildered expression, Vincent Flores fiddled with the sacred flame in his hands and laughed heartily, saying in a somewhat arrogant tone, “This is my power as an Apostle—[Desire to Steal]. Aside from divine power, I can steal anyone’s abilities and techniques… Hahaha! Using your own power to defeat you is a great idea, right? Hahahaha!”
Amidst Vincent Flores’ arrogant laughter, Allen and the others exchanged glances.
How… could someone who could completely steal others’ powers even possess such divine power?
Would that mean no one could defeat Vincent Flores?
“That represents [Jealousy], the ancient will that wields [Power of Absorption], Leviathan!” Lilith said in a low voice, her expression uneasy, for the ancient will behind Vincent was a truly terrifying existence.
[Jealousy] Leviathan, among the seven ancient wills, was second only to [Anger] Sammael in power. Aside from Sammael’s divine power, [Absolute Power], which could override Leviathan’s abilities, almost no one could defeat him. Even [Greed] Mammon, another ancient will, was the weakest among them.
According to ancient legends, in the battles between the seven ancient wills, [Anger] Sammael was the ultimate victor, with his main enemy being [Jealousy] Leviathan. In that battle, aside from [Arrogance], who refused to fight his brothers, and [Laziness], who was indifferent and slack, it was [Jealousy] Leviathan who defeated the other three brothers before facing off against [Anger] Sammael in the final battle.
It’s easy to imagine just how formidable the divine power of the Apostle of Jealousy must be.
“Bang!”
Without any surprise, Thors, deprived of all his powers, was knocked down by Vincent Flores and crashed heavily to the ground, spitting out blood. Even his body strengthened by the Sacred Thorns could not withstand Vincent’s fierce attacks. What worried Thors even more was that those powers once belonged to him.
“Thors!” Nina cried in horror.
“Ah, so Volmon Krest isn’t such a great guy after all!” Vincent sneered as he looked at Thors lying on the ground. Then he raised his right hand, gazing at the Sacred Flame that appeared there, and said mockingly, “How does it feel to be defeated by your own power? Not nice, right? No problem. Let me relieve you—using the power that once belonged to you…”
“No!” Nina screamed, rushing toward Thors without hesitation. But as she ran, she suddenly stopped because she noticed someone had appeared in front of Vincent, grabbing his arm.
“Who is that?” Allen asked, his eyes wide in confusion.
Next to him, Scott pushed his glasses up and said uncertainly, “Be… Belial?”
“Belial?” Ulric and Connel looked utterly incredulous.
It was indeed Belial who blocked Vincent’s attack, but he had changed drastically compared to before.
For some reason, his originally grayish-white hair was now black, the dark tattoos on his skin had vanished, and his eyes, including the whites, had turned deep red, like blood.
Even more astonishing was the black pattern resembling tear marks that appeared beneath each of his eyes.
His coat was gone; he wore a sleeveless black tank top that revealed his muscular arms. Several wide black belts, as thick as palms, were loosely wrapped around his waist, covered in golden runes. Along with his black pants and high boots, he resembled Thors from before.
But though they looked similar, the pressure Belial exuded was beyond what Thors could compare to…
He grabbed Vincent’s arm with one hand and said in a scornful tone, “This guy is my prey. Who gave you the audacity to attack him?!”
“You…” Vincent frowned at Belial, then vanished from his spot in an instant, reappearing about ten yards away, watching him warily.
He sensed danger—coming from this terrifying man before him!
“…” Belial glanced expressionlessly at Sos lying on the ground and said indifferently, without any emotion, “An eyesore!” Then he raised his foot and kicked Sos in the direction of Nina.
“Sos!” Nina rushed forward to catch him, her eyes filled with anxious tears as she kept asking, “How are you, Sos? Are you hurt?”
Sos held his chest and shook his head, then frowned at Belial in the middle of the scene. Seeing the cold expression on his face, Sos felt a strange sensation. He couldn’t detect any emotions that a human should have in Belial—just like…
At that thought, Sos’s expression suddenly changed.
This guy…
Just then, a voice came from beside him.
“The master has broken the seal…”
Sos instinctively turned his head and was shocked to see the Puppet King, the Dark King Cain, standing not far away. With a complex expression, he said, “Now, no one can defeat the master!”
Though he said that, Sos saw deep sorrow in Cain’s eyes.
“What exactly is going on?”
Glancing at Sos and Nina, Cain hesitated for a moment before saying gravely, “I must thank you. My ‘master’ in this world has changed greatly since arriving here. He even smiles occasionally—a thing that never happened before. Perhaps meeting you has brought some comfort to the master, who used to feel extremely lonely… The master keeps saying he wants to kill you, but he’s never actually done it… You may not understand, but I know very well that after losing the one he loved, the master gradually became cold and withdrawn. Sometimes, even I can’t intercede…”
“Belial?” Sos was stunned because he remembered that when he first met Belial, the guy didn’t seem as cold as Cain described.
“Ah,” as if reading Sos’s thoughts, Cain shook his head and sighed, “I know what you’re thinking… The master you saw before wasn’t the true master… Sloth’s power was too strong, beyond the master’s expectations. To control it forcefully, the master had to seal half of his will and power to suppress Sloth’s will and achieve the goal of devouring ancient wills… In other words, the master who fought you before only used half of his power!”
“H… half?” Sos was stunned.
Glancing at Thors, Cain sighed slightly and shook his head. “This isn’t the worst. The worst is when the master breaks free from his own seal and regains that power used to suppress and merge with Sloth’s will, becoming the original master again…”
“The original?”
“Ah, without emotions, capable of killing and destroying for his own purposes—‘calm madness’… He’ll kill you, the current master…” Saying this, Cain glanced at Nina and added gravely, “And you too, Miss Nina. The current master only has eyes for the one he loves deeply. Anyone who stands in his way, including me, will be destroyed.”
“…”
“Leave this place. This is your last advice. You can no longer stop him. Though this world is about to be destroyed, at least you can spend your last moments with those you love and say goodbye… Leave now!”
“Cain?” Thors stared at the Dark King Cain in surprise.
“Go quickly. The current master is one who has merged with Sloth’s will, possessing godlike power. No one can defeat him now. If you continue to oppose him, you will surely be killed!” With that, Cain turned and left, leaving Thors and Nina staring at each other in confusion.
The original… Belial?
Thors looked around doubtfully. As Cain had said, Belial now seemed to have lost all human emotions, his vacant gaze staring blankly at everything around him, as if nothing in this world could interest him. Such a look, Thors had only seen in the ancient will Sloth.
Had Belial truly consumed Sloth?
Just as Thors frowned, Vincent Flores seemed to take an interest in Belial. Defeating the powerful Thors seemed to inflate his confidence to the extreme.
“Hm? You look quite like Volmon Kleist over there. Are you brothers?” Vincent asked with a light laugh.
But to Vincent’s annoyance, Belial showed no intention of responding, merely staring at him indifferently. After more than ten seconds, he spoke in a condescending tone, “What are you waiting for, reptile?”
“You!” Facing the contempt in Belial’s eyes—no, it was something worse than contempt, as if he were looking at nothing at all—Vincent’s face showed anger as he sneered and said, “A reptile? Hey!” With that, his body vanished in an instant.
A few seconds later, something shocking happened. Without Belial making any move, Vincent, who had disappeared, reappeared, spitting blood, supporting his body with one hand as he stared at Belial in disbelief.
“How… what’s going on?” Allen asked, eyes wide in confusion.
“It’s his aura,” Scott said softly beside him, pushing up his glasses. “Just with his aura, Belial forced Vincent, who used teleportation magic, to back down! It’s incredible—can a person’s aura really be that strong?”
While Allen and Scott were whispering, Vincent stood up, licked his lips, and smiled. “What an amazing power… It seems you’re also a strong one who wields the Source Power…” His eyes glowed faintly red as he murmured, “I really want that power…”
“Again!” Allen clenched his fist in annoyance. “That despicable guy always uses such underhanded tactics!”
“…” Scott remained silent beside him.
“Isn’t that guy an Apostle? Apostles’ powers can’t be stolen, right?” Little Lily asked, puzzled.
At that moment, Thos, helped by Nina, returned to his companions and explained, “Indeed, Vincent can’t steal Belial’s Apostolic power. But Belial’s divine power has no effect on Apostles!”
“Hey, buddy, you look pretty beaten up by that jerk!” Allen said, nudging Thos with his elbow, clearly enjoying himself at his expense.
Thos gave him a silent glance before turning to the old dean and the others. “Dean, let the army and Vando’s magicians leave quietly. Staying here will only lead to unnecessary sacrifices…”
“Hmm, you’re worried about Vincent Flores, right?” The old dean nodded in agreement. “Indeed… Vincent Flores. I never thought a student from the academy would have such powerful abilities now…”
“No,” Thos interrupted, shaking his head. “I’m worried about Belial!”
“Belial?” Allen was stunned and exclaimed in surprise, “Weren’t he already at his limit just now? Even if he manages to hold on, he won’t be able to last long…”
“No,” Sos said softly, glancing at the Dark King Cain in the distance, “We underestimated Belial’s strength. This is the true Belial now…”
“Now?” Scott was puzzled, as he couldn’t sense even a trace of strength in Belial—he seemed ordinary, unlike before when his aura was so intense it was almost unbearable.
“Alright, I’ll have them leave…” The old dean nodded, then seemed to remember something and smiled at Sos, “And stop calling me the old dean. Now you’re the dean of the Rexx Academy!”
The allied forces retreated quietly. Jerry Belfort noticed this, but seemed unwilling to stop them, as Sos and the others were still there, and the main targets hadn’t left yet.
During this time, Vincent Flores used the divine power [Desire to Steal] to take away Belial’s various abilities and techniques—black flames, blue infernal flames, Belial’s main means of attack—along with his source energy. Even techniques like [Mirage] were stolen, just as before.
It had to be said that Vincent was now incredibly powerful, possessing all four types of flames from both Belial and Sos: black flames, infernal flames, white flames, and holy flames. He also mastered ultimate techniques like [Mirage] and [Flame Flash]. Although this stolen power would fade after some time, at this moment, he was almost the strongest person on the battlefield.
“Will Belial lose?” Nina couldn’t help asking in concern, knowing that Belial was Sos seven years in the future.
Hearing Nina’s worried words, Sos sighed slightly and said softly, “If what Cain said is true, I really wish I could do as you say…”
“Huh?”
By this time, Vincent had stolen almost all of Belial’s abilities and techniques, except for Sloth’s divine power.
Seeing Belial staring at his right hand in confusion, Vincent laughed heartily and said, “Useless. All your power has been stolen by me… What an unexpectedly powerful force!” With that, he provocatively unleashed several Mirages, with terrifying beams skimming past Belial’s face.
Just as Vincent was extremely proud, Belial moved—vanishing from his spot without any warning.
“How is that possible?” Vincent was shocked, remembering that he had already stolen the other man’s ability to use flash magic.
On the other side, Allen showed a look of disbelief, murmuring, “It’s his physical speed…”
Yes, relying solely on his physical speed, Belial could match flash magic, closing in on Vincent in an instant.
With no other choice, Vincent used flash magic to escape, appearing behind Belial in a flash, ready to strike at him.
But just as Vincent was about to act, Belial seemed to predict it, turning sharply and delivering a fierce right punch to Vincent’s left cheek, sending him flying dozens of yards away.
“Serves him right!” Allen clenched his fist in glee before saying in surprise, “Didn’t Belial have his source power stolen by Vincent? How can he still predict his moves?”
Thors shook his head.
Connel, standing beside him, stroked his chin and guessed, “It must be intuition. Judging from his actions just now, Belial is a warrior who’s fought countless battles. Those countless battles might have given him a beast-like intuition…”
“A monster!” Allen opened his mouth, sighed, and said dejectedly, “Just thinking about fighting such a monster again makes me… Ugh! It’s unbelievable how strong he must be.”
More than Allen, Vincent Flores was equally incredulous. Holding his cheek, he stood up, spitting out blood, and stared fearfully at Belial in the distance, not daring to approach too closely. Then, with a raise of his right hand, hundreds of blazing fireballs appeared in the open space around him.
“That bastard still dares to use Thors’ moves!” Allen clenched his fist in anger.
“Die!”
Following Vincent’s furious roar, hundreds of fireballs shot at Belial at once. But to everyone’s shock, countless fast-moving black shadows appeared around Belial, acting like a shield and blocking all those fireballs.
Upon closer inspection, it turned out the ones blocking the fireballs were Belial’s long belts tied haphazardly around his waist.
“A monster…” Allen felt a bitter taste in his mouth and said strangely, “That Belial… I have a feeling that even if he loses all his power, he can still defeat us…”
At that moment, Thors noticed a hint of weariness in Belial’s indifferent gaze and whispered, “Belial is going to act… He’s tired!”
“Hm?”
Before anyone could react, Belial suddenly transformed into a black shadow and rushed toward Vincent at high speed. No matter how Vincent tried to escape using teleportation magic, he couldn’t dodge Belial’s pursuit.
“Boom!”
A heavy punch struck Vincent in the abdomen, sending him crashing into the ground.
“Boom boom boom!” The ground around them kept collapsing in circles, raising clouds of dust.
“Sss…” Watching the brutal scene, Allen couldn’t help but gasp, as he realized that Belial’s punch had even forced up acid from Vincent’s stomach.
“Pfft!” Sacred flames ignited on Thors’s body again, as the power taken away due to Vincent’s unconsciousness returned to his own body. Meanwhile, blue flames of sin also burned on Belial’s body.
“Lord Flores?”
“Lord Flores?” The royal magicians showed shocked expressions and began casting spells to attack Belial. Even Jerry Belfort, who had great confidence in Vincent Flores, looked incredulous.
Under Thors’s pained gaze, rows of neatly arranged trident magic arrays appeared out of nowhere, enclosing all the royal magicians like a sealed box.
Then…
“Swish!”
Amidst the cries of panic, Thors and the others reluctantly turned away.
Under the fearful and astonished gazes of everyone present, Belial turned around and stared in an indifferent, emotionless manner in their direction.
This was the true [Semigod] Belial…
For a moment, the entire battlefield fell silent.
