Chapter 725: Blood Sea
He used the Supreme Privilege once again to put Immortal into a state of enlightenment, while the Second Elder entered Immortal’s mind to cultivate in silence. Ye Feng and the Third Elder exited their own minds as well.
“By the way, I’ve always forgotten to ask your name. I only know you’re the Third Elder of the Blood Demon clan,” Ye Feng asked.
“My name is Blood Sea,” the Third Elder slowly took on a human form. His originally blood-red appearance faded, transforming him into a true human. He was even more handsome than Ye Feng.
“Blood Sea, I think the Second Elder is at least a Level 9 warrior, while you’re only at Level 6, right?” Ye Feng asked.
“The Second Elder is a Level 10 warrior. At my peak, I was also a Level 9 warrior, right at the boundary between Level 9 and Level 10,” Blood Sea replied. “It was because of the battle with the Heavenly Dao that I was severely injured. Out of desperation, I had to abandon most of my core essence to escape, which greatly reduced my strength.”
“Do you have that Level 10 warrior puppet with you?” Ye Feng asked.
“No. I hid it in a secret location in your Higher Plane,” Blood Sea shook his head.
“Then fine. I’ll first restore your strength to its peak. Once I’ve dealt with everything in this plane, we’ll go to the Higher Plane and restore that puppet’s strength as well,” Ye Feng nodded.
“Thank you, master!” Blood Sea was overjoyed upon hearing this. If Ye Feng helped him restore his strength, he could save trillions of years of effort. Of course, he was willing. Ever since he saw Ye Feng bring the Second Elder back to life, he had been thinking about this but hadn’t dared to ask.
Ye Feng actually read his thoughts. It wasn’t a problem to use the Supreme Privilege once more. With Blood Sea’s help, it would be easier for him to gather the repair materials needed for the Void Realm, especially since Blood Sea had so many puppets.
“Using the Supreme Privilege once to restore Blood Sea’s strength.” Ye Feng once again sent his soul energy into the Void Realm and used the privilege.
“One use of the Supreme Privilege—restoration completed!”
Another strange beam of light shone from somewhere unknown, enveloping Blood Sea, just like when the Second Elder was repaired. However, this time the restoration was much faster. In just a few breaths, the beam disappeared, and Blood Sea returned to his original form—expanding from the size of a pond to that of an ocean, roughly half the size of the Second Elder’s domain.
A moment later, he reverted to his human form, his face filled with excitement. He bowed to Ye Feng and said, “Thank you, master!”
“I need you to do a few things for me,” Ye Feng said, looking toward the Sea of Blood.
“Please give your orders, master,” the Sea of Blood replied, looking up at Ye Feng.
Ye Feng pondered for a while. “I remember you saying that in this secret realm, all Level 4 warriors are under your control, right?”
“Yes, master. What do you need me to do?” the Sea of Blood asked.
“The first thing I want you to do is simple,” Ye Feng nodded after confirming what the Sea of Blood had said. “Have them collect all the bones and relics of the warriors who have invaded here and hand them over to me. Whether they have formed small universes or only possess the cultivation level of the True Breakthrough stage, or even less, everything must be collected. Also, all the dead beast corpses must be given to me as well.”
“That’s no problem,” the Sea of Blood nodded. “But there are probably no beast corpses above Level 4, as they have all used those as sacrifices for me. It’s because of this that I was able to recover to the cultivation level of a Level 6 warrior over the years.”
“That doesn’t matter. Just collect everything and hand it over to me,” Ye Feng nodded. Although this was beyond his expectations, it had little impact on him, as the corpses that the mother worm could devour were not at that level yet.
Ye Feng continued, “You have quite a few puppets in this Higher Realm, right?”
“Yes, there are hundreds of human puppets, all of them warriors who have formed large universes within their bodies, all with a cultivation level of at least Level 7,” the Sea of Blood nodded. “Among them, there are five Level 9 warriors. As for the rest of the puppets, they are in the Outer Lands.”
“That’s better than nothing,” Ye Feng nodded. “The second thing is to have those warriors in the Higher Realm search extensively for treasures of all kinds.”
“Actually, there are also weapons and armor similar to treasures in the Outer Lands. Do you need them, master?” the Sea of Blood asked.
“Weapons from the Outer Lands?” Ye Feng was momentarily surprised before nodding. “Collect them all—whatever there is.”
“Okay. Are there any other orders?” the Sea of Blood asked.
“Do you have any puppets in this Higher Realm?” Ye Feng asked further.
The Sea of Blood shook his head helplessly. “No. I fled to this realm out of necessity. Since arriving here, I’ve been recovering and haven’t gone outside. But if you have any orders, I can send those Level 4 warrior-level beasts here to handle them.”
“Since there aren’t any, forget it. We can talk about it again if we need it in the future.” Ye Feng had originally planned to use the power of this higher main plane to help him find the missing treasures in the Void Realm. But now it seems he’ll have to find another way.
“Then I’ll take care of the two matters the master mentioned just now,” Xue Hai said with a slight bow.
“Mm,” Ye Feng nodded.
“Master, should we kill all those who came with you?” Xue Hai suddenly asked.
“No need. Just take their storage rings and let them go. Leave the four who came with me alone.” Ye Feng ultimately couldn’t bring himself to kill those people; he only took their storage rings.
“That’s simple. Just cut off their arms or fingers,” Xue Hai said, licking his lips with a wicked smile. Even though he was now Ye Feng’s servant, some of his bad habits were hard to change in such a short time.
Ye Feng didn’t say much about it, as cutting off arms or fingers was the fastest way to obtain storage rings. Besides, it was just arms—those people could grow them back with some true energy, so it wasn’t a big deal.
Xue Hai finished arranging everything in less than half a cup of tea’s time. “Everything’s taken care of.”
Ye Feng nodded, and the two of them headed straight for the door through which Luo Yan and Jin Wen had left earlier.
“Boss, are you okay?” Jin Wen and Luo Yan were relieved to see Ye Feng unharmed, but they grew serious upon seeing Xue Hai behind him.
“I’m fine. He’s already tamed,” Ye Feng said, asking them to stay calm. “It’s good that Dad is cultivating in my sea of consciousness; otherwise, we would really be in trouble this time. Let me introduce them—this is Xue Hai, a level-9 powerhouse. These two are Jin Wen and Luo Yan. They’re all on our side.”
“Hello,” Xue Hai said generously, extending his hand to them. “Please forgive any offenses from before.”
After some small talk, the tension between them dissipated, and Ye Feng then teleported with them to the presence of Nian Cangsheng and Wu Kuang.
