Chapter 423: Visitors from the Divine Realm

Early the next morning, Ye Feng and his group packed up their things early, ready to leave.
It would take at least twenty days to travel from the Demon Realm city they were in to the Fiend Realm. Since some cities lacked teleportation arrays, they had to move manually to reach those with them.
“I won’t go with you…” Hong Lian suddenly expressed her opposition.
“What’s wrong? Didn’t we agree to go together yesterday?” Ye Feng was puzzled. When they talked about going to the Fiend Realm yesterday, Hong Lian had agreed without hesitation.
“I was told last night that there are some matters at home. I need to return home, so I can’t accompany you,” Hong Lian said, shaking her head gently.
Seeing Hong Lian’s troubled expression, Ye Feng nodded helplessly. “Alright, let’s meet again if we get the chance.”
“In the future…” Hong Lian lowered her gaze and murmured those words softly, then fell silent, seemingly lost in thought.
“Then we’ll be leaving first!” Ye Feng picked up Deep Blue, who was lying at the entrance of the tavern, and led Long Tian and the others in a grand rush toward the teleportation array.
Hong Lian watched them leave, gently stroking Xiao Bai’s back as if talking to herself, “Our fate together is over… isn’t that right, Xiao Bai…”
Xiao Bai, who usually ignored Hong Lian, unusually turned his head and called out to her a few times, as if trying to comfort her…
“Is BladeFeng leaving?” Many powerful warriors in Wu Mi City looked up at the group of dark dots fading into the distance in the sky.
In just a few minutes, Ye Feng and the others reached the teleportation array.
Just as he was about to step into it, a powerful pressure suddenly came from the sky, clearly aimed at him.
“You go first. I’ll see what’s going on! I’ll follow shortly,” Ye Feng frowned slightly. He could clearly sense that the source of that pressure had at least the strength of a Supreme God. Long Tian and the others couldn’t help at all here.
“If we’re leaving, let’s go together,” Long Tian said. Though he could sense the opponent’s strength, he wasn’t willing to retreat.
“Let’s leave first. Staying here would only be a burden to Ye Feng,” Pearl, as a semi-god-level warrior, could also feel that powerful pressure making her feel unable to resist. She knew that such a mindset meant she would only be a hindrance here.
“Go ahead. I’ll be fine,” Ye Feng’s gaze remained fixed on the source of that pressure.

With reluctance, Long Tian was pulled into the teleportation array by Pearl. Just as the array lit up and the teleportation was not yet complete, a beam of red light shot out from the source of that oppressive pressure, aiming straight at the teleportation array. “How dare you!!!” Before Ye Feng could react, the red beam had already struck the teleportation array… Ye Feng saw Pearl, who was standing in front of everyone, spitting out a mouthful of blood, and the teleportation array was now completely empty. The entire area where the array used to be had turned into scorched ruins, with only a striking streak of crimson left on the ground. “You all deserve to die!” A fierce killing intent surged upward as Ye Feng stared red-eyed at the direction from which the red light came. “Hmph!” A cold snort came from that direction. A man clad in golden armor stepped forward and glared at Ye Feng coldly. “You must be Dao Feng, right?” His powerful aura pressed down on Ye Feng. Even in the face of the aura of a Holy Emperor-level warrior, Ye Feng could hold his ground for hours without giving any regard to the golden-armored man’s aura. Behind the man in gold armor were over a dozen others, all with amused expressions. One of them was immediately recognized by Ye Feng as one of the Main God-level warriors he had killed in the secret realm before. “You brought these scum here, didn’t you?” Ye Feng stared coldly at Zha Wenqing. “I never expected you to have the audacity to feign death in front of me.” Zha Wenqing immediately felt his face pale. After returning to the divine realm, he had only said that Ye Feng had obtained a great deal of treasure in the secret realm and was extremely powerful. But he hadn’t mentioned that Ye Feng had escaped by feigning death. Glancing at the man at the forefront, he gained a little confidence and shouted at Ye Feng, “Hmph! I lost to you that day due to carelessness. Insects like you, I could crush a whole bunch with just one slap.” He knew how to downplay things. With his Main God-level power, he indeed could kill many divine-level warriors with a single slap. But he still didn’t know that Ye Feng had now reached the peak of the True God level, his strength far greater than before. “Since you’re not dead, I don’t mind killing you again!” Ye Feng took out a quasi-sacred long sword from his ring. It was a damaged relic he had found behind a skeleton earlier. It was in such poor condition that Ye Feng used his repair privilege right in the ring to restore it to its original state.

The reason for using only weapons of this tier was that it was already the limit that Ye Feng could handle. Quasi-sacred weapons, to some extent, still didn’t count as true sacred weapons, and even with his cultivation at the peak of True God level, Ye Feng could only barely control them. If a true sacred weapon were used, although its restoration privileges would allow it to fully recognize its master, its power might not be comparable to that of a quasi-sacred weapon. It was like a child being able to lift a 20-jin axe, but its effectiveness wouldn’t be as good as that of a 5-jin axe.

When Ye Feng took out the long sword, Cha Wenqing and the others stared intently at the sword emitting a purple glow in Ye Feng’s hand, their eyes filled with greed.

“You actually have a Super Divine Weapon! It seems Cha Wenqing was right. How much benefit have you gained from that secret realm? Hand it all over, and I might consider sparing your life!” The man in golden armor acted as if he were acting out of righteousness, but his eyes kept flicking toward the sword in Ye Feng’s hand.

“Hmph.” Ye Feng let out a cold snort. Before his voice faded, he had already disappeared.

“Die!” Cha Wenqing heard a cold voice in his ear before feeling a chill at his neck. Then he saw his headless body.

“My head…” He tried to shout but found he couldn’t make a sound. After opening his mouth a few times, he felt intense pain at the top of his head.

“So powerful!” The demons observing secretly from the surroundings witnessed this scene.

Those overwhelmingly powerful beings were instantly killed by Ye Feng, who severed their heads, extracted an orange crystal from them, and then tossed the heads aside carelessly.

The people behind the man in golden armor looked at Ye Feng in horror. They were all powerful beings at the level of Prime Gods. Even though they were stronger than Cha Wenqing, the difference wasn’t huge.

Ye Feng’s ability to kill Cha Wenqing so quickly filled them with fear.

The man in golden armor merely showed a flash of surprise in his eyes before regaining his composure. With a cold laugh, he said, “Your strength is quite impressive—reaching the peak of True God level. It seems that idiot Cha Wenqing got the basic information wrong. He deserved to die.”

“Don’t worry, none of you will get away today!” Ye Feng moved his fingers gripping the sword hilt slightly and disappeared again.

“Do you think I’ll let you succeed again?” The man in golden armor moved seemingly without effort and suddenly appeared beside a supreme god-level warrior, slapping toward the void. Ye Feng immediately shot backward, looking at the man in golden armor in surprise. “Don’t show that expression. Though I’m only at the peak of the Imperial God level, I can still kill those in the late Emperor God stage. It’s because I understand the rules of space…” The man in golden armor’s words made Ye Feng realize right away that this guy must have studied space fragments and understood the rules of space, which allowed him to know Ye Feng’s landing point. “Do you think this means I can’t kill them?” A fierce glint appeared in Ye Feng’s eyes. His figure quickly blurred, but this time he didn’t disappear—he split into two. Then those two split again into four, and after that, into eight. They rushed toward the eight different supreme gods. “Hmph, so what if they’re physical clones? Without the original’s strength or weapons, how can they possibly kill supreme god-level warriors?” Though the man in golden armor was surprised by Ye Feng’s tactics, he didn’t take it seriously. He couldn’t tell which one was Ye Feng’s original form, but he could easily identify which long sword was a true super divine weapon. All he needed to do was stop the one holding the super divine weapon. Just as he calmly slapped Ye Feng, who was holding the super divine weapon, he heard screams not far behind him. He turned to look— a supreme god-level warrior was engulfed in flames, screaming in agony. No matter how hard he struggled, he couldn’t put out the fire. “This is the God-Destroying Flame…” The man in golden armor was shocked. “You’ve merged with the Heart of Melted Fire?” “That’s right,” Ye Feng said, opening his right hand. A cluster of blood-red flames flickered uncertainly in his palm. “I just wanted to test it to see if it worked. It seems it’s very effective.” As he spoke, he clenched his fist suddenly, and several streams of flame emerged from his palm, splitting into nine rope-like strands that rushed toward the nine different people. “Stop!” the man in golden armor shouted loudly, trying to step forward to stop them, but was blocked by Ye Feng’s six clones. At the same time, the clone that had held the super divine weapon chased after the fleeing supreme gods. In just a few moments, the man in golden armor heard another piercing scream not far away, followed by more and more cries of agony.

“Damn it, stop! Do you know who we are?” The man in golden armor was entangled by Ye Feng’s duplicates and couldn’t provide any support for the time being. In less than the time it takes to drink a cup of tea, out of the more than ten people who came with him, only three remained. There was no way he could report back like this; he could only try his best to protect these three left.
“I don’t care who you are. I’ve said it—everyone of you will die!” Ye Feng’s tone was icy as he gave the man in golden armor a cold glance before continuing to chase after the other three.
“Damn you! I wasn’t planning to use this trick in this realm… You forced me!” The man in golden armor said frantically, then closed his eyes as his hands formed complex hand seals.
Ye Feng could clearly sense the gathering of powerful energy and frowned slightly.
“Spatial confinement…” The man in golden armor suddenly opened his eyes, and the hand seals were completed.
Ye Feng instantly felt himself unable to move…
