Chapter 94: The Vampire Count Being Tamed

The dark clouds in the sky dispersed, and the once clear sky became clear once again.
Ye Feng rushed toward the deep pit where Long Tian was, wanting to see if he was still alive.
As he neared the pit, a massive shadow blocked his path. Nikola spread his wings, a mocking smile on his face. “There’s no need to go. In this situation, it’s easy to imagine that he’s in the pit, his bones turned to ash by the lightning just now. Or maybe he’s already turned into a pile of black charcoals…”
“Move aside!” Ye Feng looked up at Nikola, his gaze firm and angry.
“That’s not the attitude you should have!” Nikola sneered. Without his photon cannon, Ye Feng posed no threat to him at all.
“Move aside!!!” Ye Feng was clearly furious, his eyes flashing with rage as he stared intently at Nikola, who was blocking his way.
N Nikola was slightly stunned by Ye Feng’s gaze. The icy killing intent carried a strong sense of intimidation, making his hair stand on end.
“Damn it, he’s only at the Condensation Dan stage. What’s there for me to fear?” Nikola cursed himself silently, straightened up again, flapped his bat wings, lifted his feet slightly off the ground, and looked down at Ye Feng to regain his dominance.
A fierce glint appeared in Ye Feng’s eyes as he charged at Nikola like a beast.
Just as Nikola was about to counterattack, he sensed a strange energy spreading from the deep pit behind him. Without hesitation, he flapped his wings to knock Ye Feng away and turned to look into the pit.
Long Tian was surrounded by electric light. His upper shirt had completely burned into black charcoals, and his blue casual jeans were riddled with holes. Thankfully, they still covered his vital areas, preventing him from being completely exposed.
He was stepping out of the pit one by one. Judging by his appearance, the lightning hadn’t harmed him at all; instead, it seemed to have benefited him.
N Nikola felt uneasy. He could clearly sense that the power radiating from Long Tian was now comparable to his own at his peak. “Damn that guy! Has he already reached the Yuan Ying stage?”

After emerging from the deep pit, Long Tian looked around. First, he saw Hank and Loli sitting against the walls of the ancient castle, then Ye Feng struggling to get up from the ground and staring at him, and finally his gaze fell on Nikola. A fierce killing intent flashed in his eyes as he clenched his fists tightly. In a flash, he was already in front of Nikola. Before Nikola could react, his fist struck his cheek. Nikola was sent flying with blood streaming from his nose. A powerful electric shock spread from his head to his entire body as the fist hit him, paralyzing him and making it impossible for him to move. After taking that punch, Nikola confirmed his earlier guess—that Long Tian’s strength had indeed risen to the Yuan Ying stage. He felt a hint of fear; if he took a few more punches, he might not die, but serious injuries were inevitable. While Nikola was thinking of ways to counter, another crackling sound of electricity came from his ears. Long Tian was already right beside him, raising his fists and slamming them hard against his sternum. There were several cracks, and intense pain shot through his chest—he knew more than a dozen of his ribs had broken from that strike. Two of them had even pierced his lungs, making it hard for him to breathe as he spat out a mouthful of blood. Then, with a loud crash, his back slammed into a two-meter-deep pit in the ground. The paralysis left Nikola completely unable to resist. Long Tian’s anger still hadn’t subsided. He planted his right knee heavily on Nikola’s abdomen, crushing his internal organs under immense pressure. Nikola sarcastically thought to himself, “I’m probably the first count in vampire history to be killed by a punch…” Although vampires’ internal organs were different from ordinary people’s and could recover, the recovery time for internal injuries was much longer than that for external ones. Moreover, Long Tian had the power to kill him outright—Nikola had no doubt about that. Seeing Long Tian pressing down on him, raising his fists charged with lightning toward his head, he weakly closed his eyes. If his brain was severely damaged, it could not recover, potentially leading to death. At that moment, he could only wait for death with his eyes closed.

But after a long while, Long Tian’s fist still didn’t fall, which made him curious enough to open his eyes. He saw a young Eastern man standing beside his head, one hand in his pocket and the other holding Long Tian’s fist.
“Enough. He’s already in this condition. You’ve had your revenge. If this goes on, he’ll die!” The young man glanced at the dying Nikola before staring at Long Tian.
“Give me a reason to let him live!” Long Tian met the man’s gaze coldly.
“On Earth, there are fewer than two dozen powerful cultivators at the Yuan Ying stage, including you. Killing him would be a loss for the cultivation world!” The young man’s eyes were clear. “I could have stopped you from the start, but I didn’t, because I knew you had anger to vent. In fact, I don’t know you guys, and I’ve only met him once or twice—so I’m not biased toward anyone. You can rest assured about that. Besides, your friend only suffered minor injuries and is fine. If you really have a conflict, I, Pei Hong, am willing to act as a mediator to help resolve it.”
Hearing this, Long Tian gradually relaxed his fist. He glared fiercely at Nikola, stood up, and nodded. “He grabbed my sister! Return her to me unharmed, and promise not to trouble my friends, and this matter can be forgotten!”
“Nikola, I know you’re unwilling, but if you don’t agree to his demands, I can’t help you. You should know that although vampires have strong recovery abilities, you’re likely to die here too. Besides, this whole thing was started by you—no one else is to blame.” Pei Hong looked at the battered Nikola and tried to persuade him kindly.
Although Nikola was reluctant, the situation was pressing. If he refused, he might really be killed by Long Tian. He had no choice but to nod in agreement.
“Pei Hong, you really like to meddle in others’ affairs. So many people are watching, yet none step in. Why do you have to get involved in such a personal grudge?” At that moment, a familiar voice rang out. A young man with hands in his pockets slowly walked toward them…
