Chapter 794: Another Him?

The Ghost Claw Giant Rock appeared from invisibility. Su Che found this very strange and continued to remain hidden as he slowly approached.
Before long, he saw a Golden Winged Demon King flying out from atop the rock, flapping his flesh wings covered in golden veins at a fairly fast speed. His strength seemed to be between the early and middle stages of the Great Luo Golden Immortal realm.
“His strength isn’t very great; it should be easy to defeat him.”
Unsure if there were other demons lurking on that planet-sized rock, Su Che did not reveal himself. Instead, he followed the demon for hundreds of millions of miles before releasing the two Golden Winged Demon King’s servants.
These two Golden Winged servants had naturally been captured by Guang Zhong and the other five Eighth Heaven Immortal Emperors before the entrance to the spatial passage. They were sent to the Immortal Prison for soul transformation and temporarily became Su Che’s servants.
Both servants were at the late stage of the Great Luo Golden Immortal realm, which should be sufficient to deal with the Golden Winged Demon King ahead.
Noticing someone chasing behind, the Golden Winged Demon King immediately stopped and hovered in midair, waiting for his servants to fly up to him, probably intending to ask something like, “Why are you two brothers chasing me?”
Unexpectedly, the two servants attacked without hesitation.
Whoosh! Whoosh!
One of the servants spread his claws wide, creating two dark giant claw illusions that swiftly grabbed the demon king’s back wings.
For demons, their back wings are the most crucial. If torn off, even their immortal bodies would suffer severe damage, losing most of their combat strength immediately.
Boom!
The Golden Winged Demon King shook his wings with all his might to shatter the claw illusions, but due to the sudden attack, he managed to protect his wings but couldn’t dodge the other servant’s attack in time.
Moreover, each of the two servants was slightly stronger than him.
Bang!
The other servant pushed with his claws, and a giant demon head rushed out from his chest. Its gaping maw immediately bit into the demon king’s body, splashing blood everywhere.
“Roar!”
The Golden Winged Demon King let out a painful cry. His immortal body was almost torn apart by the demon head. Worst of all, it had bitten him in the body, locking him in place so he couldn’t escape.
Bang! Bang!
He swung his demonic claws, trying to shatter the entirely magic-based demon head, but was again pulled back by the claw illusions released by the first servant, which grabbed his back wings.
Boom!
By the time he shattered the claw illusions and saved his wings, the two servants had already flown up close and used their respective methods to trap him firmly in place.

The Golden-Winged Demon King roared frantically, trying his best to break free, but his expression suddenly changed drastically as he saw a human appear before him, with a human fist growing larger and larger in his line of sight.
“Su Che!”
He actually recognized this human and called out Su Che’s name before being struck in the head and collapsing unconscious.
Su Che’s Chaos Fist power was more than enough to kill him outright, but knocking him out was necessary so he could be captured alive for interrogation.
“He knows me?”
Despite the successful capture, Su Che was also greatly surprised.
Swish!
He imprisoned the demon king in the Immortal Prison and immediately began soul transformation.
Why does he know me? Why hide that Ghost Claw boulder? After soul enslavement, all the answers would surely become clear.
Su Che was on the verge of reaching the later stage of the Profound Immortal realm. Enslaving such a demon who was not even at the middle stage of the Great Golden Immortal realm would take less than fifteen minutes.
“Are you Jin Hao’s clone?”
This answer surprised Su Che greatly.
“Yes, master,” replied the enslaved Golden-Winged Demon King respectfully from within the Immortal Prison. “It can also be understood as me being another Jin Hao—the Jin Hao of the demons.”
Jin Hao was the master of the Dustless Valley. His original body had already been killed by Su Che’s punches—how could a clone still survive?
By normal logic, if the original body died, the clone should also disappear and not be able to survive on its own. Conversely, if the clone perished, it wouldn’t cause much damage to the original body.
“That’s how it is…”
The self-proclaimed “Jin Hao” explained in detail, “Back in the Thunder God Temple in the mortal world, although my original body absorbed some primordial demonic energy, it was still not strong enough to resist the extremely powerful demonic forces in the Demon Realm.
“To obtain the Immortal Lord’s treasure trove, I had to create a clone and send it to the Demon Realm to enter the treasure trove. My original body only needed to wait in the Immortal Realm and deliver the treasures after the clone succeeded. Even if something went wrong, all that would be lost was just a clone.
“But after the clone was demonized, it broke free from its subordinate relationship with the original body and became another Jin Hao of the demons, albeit slightly weaker. Even though the original body died, the clone could still survive.”
Hearing this, Su Che understood: “Indeed, once a clone is demonized and turns into a primordial demon, its nature completely changes. It’s normal that no true immortal from the Immortal Realm can control such a demonized clone.”

The abnormal thing is that Jin Hao’s clone turned into a demon race being. It should have completely severed ties with the original entity, showing no kinship and being at each other’s throats—how could it still help the original entity open the treasure vault and obtain treasures?
“That’s because I possess primordial demonic energy, which gives me a certain degree of resistance to the origin demonic energy. Although my physical body has been demonized, as long as the primordial demonic energy in my mind hasn’t completely dissipated, I can still retain my original sanity and consciousness.”
The demon Jin Hao continued, “But this is only temporary. In at most another hundred years, I will become a complete demon and will no longer be able to serve the original Jin Hao in the immortal realm. Instead, I will do everything in my power to kill him.”
“I see.”
Su Che nodded inwardly. “From now on, stop talking about an original entity and a clone—it’s confusing. Just call yourself Jin Hao. Call the one in the immortal realm the Master of Juechen Valley. Keeping them separate will make communication easier.”
“Yes, master,” Jin Hao replied respectfully.
Su Che asked further, “So, do you know that the Master of Juechen Valley has already been killed by me?”
“I don’t,” Jin Hao shook his head. “After becoming demonized, our telepathic connection was severed. We’ve become two completely different beings. Out of reason, I still hold onto the desire to help him. But if he’s dead, I don’t feel any negative emotions.”
Su Che asked again, “Why hide that Ghost Claw Giant Rock?”
“To scheme against you!”
Jin Hao replied, “The Master of Juechen Valley had long predicted that you, as the owner of the Immortal-Demon Battlefield, would eventually come to the Origin Demon Realm to search for the Immortal Lord’s treasure vault. By hiding the most important coordinate point and preventing you from finding the entrance to the vault, he would gain the leverage to negotiate with you.”
Su Che snorted coldly. “In the end, that guy has been scheming against me all along. He truly deserves to die!”
He asked further, “Is the token to enter the Immortal Lord’s treasure vault still in your possession?”
“It’s not with me anymore,” Jin Hao replied. “I realized that I would lose my mind soon and become a true demon, so I returned that token to him.”
Su Che smiled. “You seem quite loyal to him.”
“I deserve death!”
Jin Hao knelt on the ground and replied frankly, “I was originally his clone, so this loyalty has always been there. Besides, the immortal artifacts in the vault are useless to me, so I really have no selfish motives in that regard.”

“I understand. I don’t blame you. Get up,” Su Che said gently. “Just based on your identity, you are innocent. All the blame falls on the master of Juechen Valley. He’s dead now, so this mess is settled.”
“Thank you for your mercy, master.”
Jin Hao kowtowed three times before standing up.
By this time, Su Che had already flown to that Ghost Claw boulder. As confirmed by Jin Hao, there were no other demons or creatures on the boulder, so there was no need to worry.
According to the map, the entrance to the Immortal Lord’s treasure vault was located between the middle and ring fingers of the Ghost Claw, with an error margin of no more than a thousand zhang.
If one couldn’t find this Ghost Claw boulder, it would be impossible to pinpoint its location in the vast void, even if tens of thousands of years were spent.
“Entering just the outer area of the treasure vault poses no danger,” Jin Hao said. “Even I, as a Origin Demon, can enter and exit safely using that token.”
Su Che nodded silently and then took out the black stone tablet.
The tablet could change size; at this moment, it was held in Su Che’s palm, about a foot tall.
Su Che channeled his Immortal Energy and activated it in a certain way.
Buzz…
A barely perceptible spatial fluctuation appeared within a range of ten zhang. In less than two breaths, Su Che and the tablet disappeared together.
Silence reigned in the void as time slowly passed…
In the blink of an eye, five years had passed.
On the last day of the five-year period, over eight hundred Immortal Emperors returned to the beast-head boulder where Su Che was. Almost every Immortal Emperor seemed tired.
Clearly, those five years in the Origin Demon Realm hadn’t been easy.
At the front of the beast-head boulder, Su Che slowly emerged from the underground cave. It wasn’t that soul slave substitute—it was indeed Su Che himself.
He had already visited the Immortal Lord’s treasure vault in advance and prepared everything needed, waiting for these Immortal Emperors to arrive.
“A total of eight hundred thirty-six Immortal Emperors have arrived. Those who didn’t make it on time are automatically disqualified!” Su Che announced solemnly.
The Immortal Emperors nodded in unison. Among them, the five Eighth Heaven Immortal Emperors were definitely present, along with Feng Lin and Zong Yi.
“How is the situation?” Su Che asked Emperor Guangzhong.

“As expected,” Guanghui replied, “Just a few months in, we’ve already faced encirclement by the Origin Army and encountered numerous Demon Emperors. Fortunately, we all have ways to escape, so we won’t die from this. Those Immortal Emperors who didn’t arrive on time were either forced to retreat to the Immortal Realm or are still trying to avoid the pursuit of the Demon Army… So the possibility of them perishing is quite low.”
Imperial Emperor Diqiu added, “Although we tried to conceal our whereabouts during the return journey, someone must have accidentally left traces. I estimate that the Demon Army will soon pursue us here. I ask the Arbiter to make a decision as soon as possible.”
“I understand.”
Su Che nodded and said in a deep voice, “Then please, all the Immortal Emperors, hand over the Origin Demons you’ve captured to me.”
